Aruba Fish & Grill - Western restaurant in Los Mochis, Mexico
A nice establishment with delicious food. Open-air restaurant with a wide variety of options. I tried the fried snapper and it was yummy! Id return if Im ever on the island again
Great food! Soup is wonderful, pasta well balanced. Fryed calamari not overcooked
Flys flys flys galore! We went there around 2pm for lunch. Don’t make our mistake and sit on the side you want to sit in the middle with as many fans blowing on you as possible the flys are RELENTLESS HERE. Not a vibe.Service was a bit slow for it being not busy but the staff was very nice. The food was ok lobster could have been better was it was decent and the shrimp was good. The calamari was awful tasted like rubber. Got it at two other restaurants on the island and it wasn’t like that. Maybe they were just having an off day.Definitely check it out but sit in the middle under as many fans as possible. It’s also off a dirt road getting there drive slow you don’t want a flat if your car has tiny tires.
We ordered several different items from the menu and were super pleased with all of it! The service was excellent and we had a great experience overall.
Great food. Still full 6 hours after! Service was friendly and efficient with a group of 7. Highly recommend!
Food was very fresh and tasty
I had the pleasure of dining here while on vacation in Aruba. I had the red snapper fried and grilled shrimp. The servings were huge. The platter also came with fries and plantan. While the portions were huge, the fish was dry and bland and my shrimp were not cooked as complete as I would have liked them. The shrimp were also bland. Their hot sauce was different and the tarter sauce was different than what we use in the US. This is an outdoor restaurant and the servers weer very nice. Elvin was our servers name. He was great.
We had a whole Red Snapper deep fried and served with rice, fried polenta, grilled plantains and potato planks. We also had conch fritters as an appetizer. Everyone was friendly and service was great. Food was fantastic. Highly recommend!
Great local food with super friendly service.
The food, service and atmosphere is A+I would recommend this place to everyone and they would not be disappointed.
The Creole sauce was tasty the hot sauce was very mild. The fish portions on my plate varied drastically so some were juicy and some were jerky.
My husband and I wanted to eat where locals eat and we were told to eat at Red Fish! We were not disappointed! Food was very good! Service was excellent! Elvin was such a delight!!!
This place is very good and you will not be disappointed. The shrimp and fish were fresh and delicious. The staff was super friendly and gave top level customer service.
Terrific! For our recent 12-day trip to Aruba, we had dinner twice at Red Fish. The Fish Soup is chunky, tasty and not salty. Both visits I enjoyed the Conch with Creole Sauce. The staff and servers were all friendly.Red Fish is off the beach strips, but very close by Eagle and Palm Beaches. Well worth the visit.
Delicious! We tried the conch appetizer and shared the paella dinner....definitely enough for two plus leftovers for both of us!!! Very fresh seafood, friendly staff, easy to find, clean, and yummy!!!! Would come back to try other dinners!!!!
The food was delicious. The red snapper and the paella was very tasty. They overload you with sides (rice, fried polenta, french fries and coleslaw! But that means you get a lot of food! The staff were super friendly and great.
Low key local spot. Family friendly. Waiter was patient and awesome as we were a party of 17. Food was good, lots of seafood variety.
Good good and service. Away from all the big excitement of the palm strip but they did a very nice job creating a nice ambiance. We shared the fish and shrimp, comes about 2 lbs of fish, added veggies and salade, perfect size. Recommend
Great, friendly ambiance, food is tasty and well prepared, great service. Not a lot of choices for filleted fish. Good options but I only like filet and there was just mahi, mahi from which to select. Lovely ambiance especially during Christmass season.
If you are looking for the an Aruba Island food experience , you have to check this place out. Great service and food with a touch of the Island feel. Food was incredible and the service was great. I highly recommend making Red Fish a part of your vacation plans.
Absolutely wonderful! I took my son here tonight. He loves seafood and I saw some great reviews for Red Fish. The restaurant itself was beautiful. I loved the atmosphere. Our waitress was awesome. I told my son she reminds me of Hawaii with how warm and friendly she was. Our food was delicious and the price was amazing. We had a great night!
I had dinner there. The lemonade was unbelievably tasty. We had the grouper, fried whole fish, calamari, conch fritters. Everything came in on time and was tasty. I would recommend this place. Im felt like I should have gone earlier in my stay. Probably would have hit this place up three out of the 5 days. I wanted dinner! They are on WhatsApp and accommodate reservations so you dont have to phone in.
If there is one thing I enjoy with my seafood its CALAMARI. Red Fish in my opinion has the best CALAMARI Ive tasted on The Happy Island of Aruba. The taste, the texture & seasoning all just perfect. Plus the dipping sauce took it to another level. Then comes food. Let me tell you a big secret. The Red Fish make not be the most talked about. However it is one of the best seafood restaurants in Aruba. The atmosphere is relaxed and the locals patronize here a lot. The food is prepared and served good hot fresh with seasoning thatll have your taste buds titillating. But dont take my word for it. Try it for yourself.
First restaurant I tried upon reaching Aruba ! Although the fish and food itself was very fresh and tasteful the seasonings were overall too sweet for my taste. The coleslaw, pickled onions, plantains and all the dipping sauces tasted like someone had put extra spoon of sugar in them. Otherwise the actual mahi mahi and shrimp were phenomenally prepared but did lack salt/spice. The service is attentive and friendly but be warned sitting outside past dark was a challenge as the mosquitoes were rampant. I’m writing this a few days later and I think this is considered average in Aruba, there is better places to get fish on the island in my opinion ! Cost was also average not cheap but not expensive. For what you pay you can get a decent meal !
The food was good and plentiful. I liked that they provided lots of different sides with the meal. The sangria was good, overpriced at $12, but I guess we’re on vacation. The service was average at best. Forgot to bring out some additional condiments we asked for and it took 15 mins trying to get someone to get our check. Again, we are on vacation, no place to go so waiting around was ok.
Food is very good! Not a 5 star for me because of too many flies 😕. The open air indeed is a better ambiance than an air conditioned building, but again it comes with flies 😬. I you only focus on your food (as you shouldthe flies attack your drink. And vice versa.
Great service and the food was fresh & delicious. We ate the conch fritters within minutes. Great flavor and not oily. I had the pan fried filet and fish with plantains and rice. It comes with coleslaw & french fries, but i asked the waiter to skip the slaw and ff for my plantains. He said no problem! What a great local spot!! The food was so good we forgot to take pics. Definitely check this place out.
During my familys week long vacation in Aruba, we visited Redfish 3 times. The fish was perfectly fried. The rice was fresh. And our host was personable.
Red fish was great! I enjoyed fresh Mahi Mahi fried whole with calamari ,steamed rice and conch fritters. They also pour some good tasting cocktails!
Amazing, service was great food was delicious and reasonable price
Server was not attentive. Never got drink refills. Fish and lobster were over cooked and pasta was undercooked not seasoned. Shrimp was delicious!
The portion of the food was good for the price and the place was clean. I gave it a three because we were forgotten by The staff. I had to ask for my check three times with different waiters and waitresses. Due to this we were forced to be here an extra half hour. Who wants to waste time on a vacation with so much to do?
Conch fritters tiny and have little flavor. Calamari tasted more like an onion ring and not even prepared properly, leaving an inedible string on the outside. The Mahi of the day was dry and had little to no flavor. This was a trend among the whole table of 7, not just one dish. We were very confused as to why this place has such high regard. Two stars because our waiter was funny.
Red Fish has become one of my favorite restaurants on the island. Everything was good especially the red snapper.
We had a great experience at Red Fish. The staff was super friendly and we loved our waiter Alvin. He kept us entertained throughout our meal. The seafood was fresh, served hot and the portions were huge. Everything was fried to perfection and the drinks were delicious! We loved the sangria.
Great place for a local taste of fresh fish including red snapper and even grouper if you are lucky. The dishes are served with french fries, rice and plantains. Service is quick and of the utmost importance to the staff. There is a also a takeaway option if you need it.
We were looking for a restaurant where we, as Europeans visiting Aruba for the first time, could taste the local cuisine. Being non-motorists, we went to the restaurant by bus and on foot. We definitely found this trip worthy. The food was extremely tasty, large portions, fantastic creole sauce and coleslaw (one of the best weve had), excellent fish - a catch of the day. We also added the side salad of the day. We can also recommend the maracuja lemonade and the non-alcoholic pina colada. We spent 2 hours here feasting :and gave a skype call to family. Wi-fi works great here. Thanks to the restaurant staff and cooks and best wishes for the future. See pics of our lunch.
After recovering from the disappointment of the lack of conch fritters or any type of conch at all we proceeded to eat a pretty decent meal with almost 0 wait time to be seated. Although, we opted for items on the menu that we could get at home, the food was very delicious.
One of the best kept secrets this side of the island! The food is spectacular, fresh, delicious! We have been back several times! It’s a must go place, sure it’s set in a parking lot and the place is not a glamorous one but if you want good food and are tired of paying those high prices for miniature dishes, this is the place to go! Red snapper is a must! Wether whole or fillet it is the best! oh, don’t expect a sunset!
A perfect spot for lunch! They have a kids menu for your picky kids who don’t want seafood or fish. The staff is friendly and all masked. We had the fish and shrimp grilled and was big enough for 2 adults to share. The shrimp fried rice and the calamari was our favorite!
This was a one time place for me. The fish was big yea but in comparison to other seafood places (Zeerovers)…super overpriced. The fish was too fried for me, it was dry. Yea they have more options, longer menu but I will still go somewhere else if given the option.
By far some of the best seafood I’ve ever had. Came to Aruba on first vacation since COVID outbreak. The Island has just reopened recently, and you can tell everyone is slowly easing back into some sense of normalcy. A lot of the food on the island has been subpar (and $$$, understandably so), but this meal is by far the best we’ve had since arriving three days ago. Imagine that, three days without a good meal. This was our first time at Red Fish but we have heard many great things about this local spot in our previous visits. The calamari was FRESH, HOT, and CRISPY. We ended up ordering a second plate of them. The sauce they had to go with the calamari was delicious! Pictured was the catch of the day - fried red snapper …AMAZING. Also very fresh and flavorful. Accompanied with rice, fries, and funchi (if you r ever had porridge, it kind of tastes like it fried-made from cornmeal). Service was quick and kind! Our server, Allen was very helpful and attentive. Honestly, wish we would have come sooner and can’t wait to go back!
Food was great. Speedy delivery to table. Staff very attentive. Large portions. Affordable.
The Red Snapper was done to perfection. The drinks were excellent. Our waiter was very polite and made our lunch very enjoyable. I would recommend people stop by and enjoy the food. My only complaint was that there was only one bathroom which was very small and extremely hot.
When I say sooooooooooooo good. So good. I have nothing more to say but look at pics and go if you’re ever in Aruba. Service was great too.
The fried red snapper, lobster, and shrimp was over cooked/fried and on the dried out. The lobster and shrimp was tough and from being over fried. French fries were just okay. The food is bland and plain Jane. Plantain and sauce was good.
First stop in Aruba. Outdoor seating led to a pleasant atmosphere. Staff were very welcoming. Food was delicious. Definitely recommend.
Far and away the best seafood on the Island. The restaurant is between the high rise hotel and the downtown area. When you arrive you enter through a gorgeous court yard full of flowers and tropical plants. The service is so friendly and you can tell they really love what they do. As I mentioned the seafood was the best in Aruba at a very reasonable price. The menu is simple but packed with flavor. It’s the little touches of flavor from the Papaya hot sauce to the hint of curry in the conch fritters. It’s a must try when in Aruba.
Excellent meal. Me and my girlfriend stopped here and were not disappointed. I had the lobster and shrimp combo ($44 usdand it was spectacular. The flavors were amazing and the lobster And shrimp were extremely fresh. My friend got the conch and shrimp and loved it. She kept saying how flavorful it was. The place was very clean and the entire staff had masks on. The outside seating was wonderful and the service was excellent. Our server even offered us some bug spray to make us more comfortable. Definitely recommend it and will definitely return.
Delicious tasting seafood! This was Don and my first time eating here and service was great, staff friendly, social distance practiced, and we had left overs! What I would like to see more from all restaurants; however, especially during this Coronavirus pandemic, is staff and servers wearing more gloves, while serving others. We all must be extra careful and mindful during this time!
