Great coffee. Peaceful ambience. Nice staff.
Lovely cafe and cakes.Self service and fantastic outdoor sitting for sunny days.
Lovely stuff. Great caffe like always
They do very nice coffee βπFrom paul chapmanalso they do not take cashYou pay by credit card π³
Great local. Nice terrace and view on people passing by
The most amazing coffee! Food is very nice but I find the grilled sandwiches to have a little too much grease.
Love the productsCoffee and sweetsI cant resist to pass by without stopping
Stopped for coffee after a bike ride and the flat white was excellent. Friendly staff π€
Nice ladies behind counter. Sadly, no cakes on offer, but coffee great, as was the iced mocha.
Great coffee but they always seem short staffed and slow in there. It could be much nicer than it is.I keep going back. Its much more efficient the coffee is good. They do nice pastries but I think they could do more food.
My favourite cafe in the local area. Wonderful staff, fantastic coffee and a great selection of food. The outdoor seating is handy for cyclists too.
Good coffee, nice and cosy atmosphere, will need to come back!
If you love a noisy environment with dogs barking (sometimes even sitting on tablesand owners ignoring their animals this is the place for you. This coffee place was a gem a few years back, now is a filthy dirty place with some dogs owners not showing any respect for non dog owners (or dog owners that are polite and they look after their dogs)Never to be back.
Bit of a lifesaver during lockdown. Great toasted sandwiches, cakes and coffee too (would benefit from having a single origin option)
I dont know if this is a chain or not, but i drive daily from Richmond to get a coffee there. The beans are of very good quality and ALL baristas are equally skilled in making a perfect dense frothy cappuccino consistently. All in, just about my top choice in the broader area, not just Sheen
Great place for a Pitstop and a very nice cup of coffee
Solid good coffee and great service. Iβm a fan and theyβve been like this for years. Also very dog friendly :)
Fantastic coffee and friendly service ππ»π
I was passing by and fancied a good coffee, so decided to pop into this cute little place, as it looked good online. I was hoping to get some pastries but of course it was sold out by lunch time! Silly me... Anyhow, I was recommended a breakfast muffin π§ which was absolutely amazing, I have to say, I was impressed! So yummy and the texture was perfect, I hate when muffins are too oily, this was not! Definitely recommend! π The coffee was also absolutely lovely! Some coffee shops oat milk doesnt taste good but this one was great. On top of that, staff was very friendly. Very very nice experience!
They think they are better than they are, but they are not bad. Coffee is better than average. Food choices are very limited and not very accessible. Staff are very kind and dedicated.
Best coffee shop and best staff. She made a perfect coffee.Feeling happy, thank you to artisan barista for best made coffee.. πππππ
Great coffee, delicious cakes and lovely toasties. We enjoyed relaxing in the sun yesterday thanks to the outdoor seating provided. Well be back!
So much more than what we have come to expect from a coffee chain. I have been to a few Artisan shops and they all feel slightly different, friendly and welcoming. The one in Sheen is by far the best in the area and the staff are amazing. A lovely place to relax or meet friends. Food and Coffee both excellent.
Good coffee! I am a regular at both shops in Putney & East Sheen. Was peckish this p.m. and as I have to stick to gluten free. Only thing available was a coffee, oat and nut cookie. After tasting, I made a gentle comment to an assistant that the flavour was disappointing. (Very much so, by Artisans high standard.I mentioned that I could not taste any coffee flavour. - In fact, it was the most bland & unpleasant taste. She did not apologise and kept saying of course it had coffee in it! Not up to their usual friendly approach. Unfortunately, one employee can mar what is normally a pleasant experience. So 4 stars instead of 5!
The chicken sandwich and chai latte were both delicious! The brownie was SO GOOD!
Stopped here for a toasted sandwich and a coffee after a walk in Richmond Park...it was lovely! Gorgeous artisan bread and a very nice coffee. My only complaint was neither were big enough π¬. We also had a very delicious brownie. The staff were also very friendly. Iβd definitely go back if I was in the area again
Trendy cafe in East Sheen with outdoor seating. Very green - expect to pay Β£2.50 for an alternative to Coke. Nice looking sandwiches with somewhat exotic ingredients. Not somewhere you would take a grumpy 12 year old to. Funky but spartan decor. LGBT friendly.
I come here multiple times a week, even though its not directly on my way to work. The banana bread is the stuff of legend. Its bike and dog friendly. The staff are lovely, and take care of their customers!
Lovely staff and lovely coffee. Free WiFi too. But be warned, this place is extremely popular so be prepared to sit on a strangers lap to drink your coffee.
Very tasty coffe served by friendly staff in rustic place with a hint of cosy atmosphere. Always like to sit on a wood chair at the wood table and enjoy my cup of tasty coffee any time of the day but especially in the morning time.In my opinion, the name of the shop perfectly refers to its quality. Can recommend it.
Great balance of food drinks atmosphere. Great to have a coffee shop to go where you can eat sit and relax with families and couples alike. Also seating in the window and outdoors at the East Sheen crossroads. Love it.
Absolutely brilliant coffee (some of the best in SW Londonand friendly staff at all times. The Oat Flat Whites are some of the best Ive ever had. Always enjoy coming here! My one suggestion is that they should make a laptop-only section for weekends since they tend to take over entire tables at times.
Lovely little place. We stopped here on our way to Richmond park. We had the soup which was delicious. Good price and a huge portion. The place was crowded with a nice cozy atmosphere.
Very good coffee, friendly staff and a cosy atmosphere. There are a few outdoor tables too. Not tried the food but it looks great!
Great coffee and lovely atmosphere.
Great place in east sheen lovely staff display of food , toilets good few tables outside shame not more very good sausage bap would visit again
This is a quirky arty cafe, serves a fab sausage bap. Friendly and efficient service. I enjoy popping in when in the area. I love the rustic look, good atmosphere and decent menu.
Proper artisan coffee. They really know and care about coffee. One of the best coffee shops Ive been in London. The food and cake selection is also pretty good.
I have been working in Sheen for a week and Artisan is good. I would say at the tip end of what I expect to pay. Β£2.70 for a regular coffee and Β£4.80 for sandwiches of the day. Both are very well flavoured and it is in a premium location with a big picture window for people watching, which i guess influences the price point.
Cosy and cute spot for some excellent coffee. For manual brew they have V60, during my visit Guatemalan Huehuetenango from the Barn roastery in Berlin. You can also treat yourself to some delicious looking pastries if you feel so inclined. Nice spot for working or some reading.
Come here have your coffee and small pastry.Simple down to earth coffee shop. Staff friendly and the place is on the small side.Their coffee is small so little disappointed but hey, thats London .Would I come back π€ rather go to 11 Coffee & Co down the road π
Great little coffee shop with good coffee and good snacks and sandwiches. I see they do cooked breakfasts too but cannot vouch for those, though they did look delicious! Looking forward to checking them out.
Cute little place. Dogs friendly. High quality coffee and delicious food made with care. Kind and friendly service.
Terrific long black, a good range of coffee paraphernalia on sale including The Barn coffee beans. Some nice variety in the baked goods offering as well as some typical antipodean items like laminations.
Top quality coffee, cakes and service. Highly recommend their flat white. Does get crowded and they could do with one or two more tables.
Never tried the flat white, but their espresso is right up there with my all time favourites. I also like their selection of cakes and sandwiches. It is not cheap, but sometimes that is not the point...
Well Im honestly appalled and somewhat angry at the other reviews posted here, as people are giving bad reviews yet their bad experience seems to generally be due to their own ignorance. To the people saying their flat white was too milky - news flash, a flat white is espresso and milk! Of course its milky! If you dont want a milky coffee dont order one! IF what you are really getting at is the fact that Artisan uses a single shot in their regular flat white as opposed to two, this is indeed perfectly common practice throughout the Antipodes as well as in other leading third wave coffee shops in the UK.Bottom line; every coffee shop is different and if you want a drink a certain way you should just ask the baristas or the person on the till how they make said drink, and ask if you can amend the recipe. A macchiato in Seattle is going to be different from a macchiato in Florence. Going around and giving bad reviews to independent coffee shops simply because they dont make their drinks in the exact way you want it doesnt help anyone.Oh and about the oily substance that someone else mentioned; thats called crema. Look it up.
The coffee is hit and miss. Have to admit I had lovely coffees here. But lately the flat white has been generally bad. I agree another users comment, it was runny, no coffee taste. Not with a stronger coffee taste and a velvety milk.
Service and atmosphere was fine. However this is the worst coffee I have had in a long time. It was weak and bitter with an odd looking oily substance on top. My wife and mother also found their drinks too be poor. Will definitely avoid next time.
Nice atmosphere but, by antipodean standards - Im British living in Sydney - the coffee is poor. I had a regular flat white that was bland, far too milky, and had no flavour.
