Artico Fast Sea Food in Montevideo

Excellent sea food

Stopped by for coffee and sodas with family. Seems to have a good variety of options for sea food. Freshly made sushi and great selection of drinks.We have had the shrimp, fish nuggets and salmon chivito several times now. All have been excellent each time!April 2022We went to have a late lunch on Easter Sunday. It was busy - line almost out the door - we ordered, had no trouble getting a table and received our food in 15 minutes at the most! Not only was our food ready quickly but it was excellently prepared! Awesome experience every time!

Unthinkably bad. Expensive and everything was kind of gross. It’s cheaper to eat at a nice restaurant. I can’t understand how this concept works

Good fast seafood in a Cafe setting. Get some cheap good tasting wine or beer and enjoy the views. We loved the little buffet and the price was fair as well.

Its a nice place but you have to go early because it looks like the only place in Montevideo

Artico is the best ever for sea food in Uruguay. It is takeaway style, plastic dishware (pitty), but the hot and cold dishes are delicious. I recommend.

Cold buffet sea food is the best choice at artico sea food,it is one of the best place ever if you are after shrimps,the staf service is kind of dry,they most improve their quality treatment to costumers,but i m giving 5 stars because i really had a nice time at artico sea food.

I had quesadillas al salmone and they were decent. Nice to sit outside.

Self serve sushi and salad bar. Pay by weight. Great food. Being from canada when you pay with foreign credit card vat is deducted off your visa automatically after payment is completed. So far this has happened at all restaurants we have been to in Uruguay but you only see the deduction on your till receipt after payment. This restaurant has a nice view of wàterfront

Well.. I tried the Rabas and didnt taste fresh. The salmon sandwich was ok. They served really fast and the place in lovely.

Food was hella cold and tasted awful. I would go for the cheapest food because no matter what you get, it all tastes the same. Good place talking about comfort and ambience, but not a good place to have a great meal, i would go somewhere else like "El Italiano" or something like that if you are looking for seafood. If sushi is what you want theres a lot of other places to go. Im not really into sushi but my friends are and told me that.

The place has a wonderful view to the Uruguayan rambla and river. Service is very fast and kind. Prices are affordable and there are lots of varieties

Just ok. The hand rolls were "tired " and tasteless. They had not refilled trays of sushi or even the salads on the salad bar.A good idea with bad execution and not cheap. Location is nice on a nice day but again for the price it was not that interesting

Nice to eat some sea food to be different, but the flavours are not so amazing. The shrimp was without taste. But the place near the Beach is great for the view.

The food was fine, but quite expensive (95 pesos / 100g). That means for 1lb (.45kgof food I paid around $15usd - yikes. If you need something fast and dont care about the price, its ok, but dont expect a cheap meal.

Fast seafood, nothing crazy. Not spectacular but also not bad. Stop here if you need a quick bite.
