Artesano in Quetzaltenango

Been traveling around Guatemala for 2 months eating at all the vegan spots I can find and this was my absolute favorite. Great food, great prices, nice atmosphere.

Great no frills vegan café/shop serving tasty and cheap plant based food in Zona 10.Definitely worth coming to have lunch or breakfast at this little place where they make everything from scratch. Waiters were very friendly and they also have some grocery items available to purchase. The set menu is excellent value at Q36 too.

I was honestly disappointed with this restaurant. I’m always seeking out vegan restaurants, so I sat in traffic for an hour just to give this place a try! When I arrived however, they were pretty rude. Apparently, their hours are listed incorrectly on Google, and they were getting ready to close… they were rushing me the entire time, and they weren’t nice about it :(I was viewing their menu online, and to simplify things, I took screenshots of the items that I wanted to order. Attached to this review, you will find the screenshots of what I thought I was ordering (the Mediterranean bowl and the pesto bowl). Compare those pictures to the two things that they served me and you’ll notice that they look NOTHING alike. I’m not sure how they managed to mess my order up when I literally showed them the pictures of what I wanted, but they didn’t care, they just wanted to leave.I’m disappointed that I paid for these SALADS when it’s definitely not what I asked for. They were already GONE by the time I opened my to-go containers in the car (I’m not exaggerating, they left that quickly!). If they were still there, I would have asked for them to fix their mistake.I hate to leave a bad review for a vegan restaurant because I genuinely want to see a vegan world. For that reason, I’m alwayssss thrilled every time that I see a vegan restaurant, but unfortunately, this one was a disappointment…

It’s so hard to find both delicious and filling vegan breakfast around Guatemala, especially quick handheld breakfast. We were rushing for flight and couldn’t be more thankful to have found Artesano. We had a bunch of bagels and wraps and they were all delicious and super fast!

Es un excelente lugar para los amantes del veganismo y el buen sabor, hemos ido varias veces y probado diferentes platillos asi como productos para poder seguir comiendo sano y rico en casa también cocinando de manera saludable. En estos tiempos pedimos a domicilio dichos productos para poder seguir disfrutando con sabor y calidad... más que recomendados!

One of the best Vegan restaurant where you get a different dish everyday" Menu Del Dia". Soya is the highlight here

Amazing VEGAN creative, international & classic Guatemalan cuisine, with a diverse full-course daily menu special starting at noon til 3PM. A must when in GT city. Artesano also manages a beauty/health food store there as well. 🙏🏿

Buenísimas hamburguesas veganas, buen precio, servicio rápido y con variedad de productos veganos. Recomendable.

Really nice vegan cafeteria/restaurant in the heart of Zona Viva. The place is small but it packs great flavor. Service is alright compared to traditional Guatemalan service which is normally nicer. Menu is diverse and there are options for everyone in the family. A good choice in a city that doesnt have many vegetarian/vegan restaurants available.

Fui a la tienda a comprar mis productos vegetarianos pero la señorita que me atendió podría ser amable o por lo menos sonreír, cuando le preguntaba algo ni le escuchaba. Los productos son los mejores que he probado 100 puntos y en precios super accesibles. Felicito al creador de la marca El Artesano.

Crazy delicious! My girlfriend had to convince herself she wasnt eating meat Multiple times while eating the sandwich 😂. The food is well balanced and super fresh. Pretty sure the lettuce was hydroponic too, since its texture was so soft and supple. Also, the vegan garlic mayo is SO GOOD!

Ordené el Bowl Mexicano, y fue delicioso! Y fue bastante grande. Estuve muy satisfecha.

So delicious, the only all vegan restaurant in Guatemala and the food is incredible. They always mix it up with the specials and the menu is so large you wont run out of things to try. Also the price is amazing! We always get a plate each and then one to share.

I love this place because:1it has great vegan food2its cheap3the portions are perfectly sized4its fast5its healthy6its in a very central place in town7the staff are super friendly8theres a little store with vegan productsThings I dont like:- lack of parking spaces- tiny chairs and tablesBut like I said, I always come to eat here when Im going through the area!
