Aroos Damascus Restaurant in Sharjah

The service is quite good; the only thing I didnt like was the grilled chicken and broasted; I was expecting a higher standard; the meat dough are excellent; overall, its ok.

I like aroos for their freshness maintained in the servings especially the starter salad. Dining ambiance is awesome and they have enough seating capacity. You can choose from various Arabic dishes here.

The food was good but it is way overpriced for the taste and ambience.

Only issue is parking and traffic, however, thats out of their hands. One of the best hotel for arabian food.. I went with my friends on the occasion of Womens day.. I went with all my vegan friends and we got a chance to taste lot of varieties of vegetarian food.

Amazing food. I just wanted to have muttabbal with some arabic bread but ending up eating their chicken kabab, arayees, and kababs with tomato stew. The fresh hot small khuboos kept pouring in which we enjoyed a lot with hummus, muttabbal and other food. One word it was just awesome, we loved and enjoyed it. Not so expensive also. Just great...

Great dine-in experience. Have a good customer service and also I was allowed to eat as many freshly baked khubs (breadI needed. Definitely recommend for a different experience.

Good stuff all around, has all youd expect from a levant restaurant. The chicken was very dry, but luckily the veggies soup compensates for that. The staff are friendly and helpful and the cleanliness is ok.With that said, the Dubai branch of this restaurant is way better than this one.

There were ten of us in a packed restaurant. Initially, I thought they wouldnt pay attention to us. How wrong was I ?To cut a long story short, the ever smiling Mr.Ibrahim (thats him in the pic)served our table with the utmost patience and josh. He was very helpful, and the food was out of the world.Id recommend this place to anyone who wishes to have tasty Arabic food with the best of Arabian hospitality.5 stars.

Located in Sharjah, amazing fresh food and great location! Super close to my place. They are very fast and the staff is accommodating. I have never tasted such delicious salads! The warm bread is to die for. Had booked for 3 pax. Seating was ok and pre plated food was already on tables in 2 mnts. Table is small. The starters was ok (hummuos, moutabal and foul was okthe rest under average. The main course was mixed grillThe food is amazing and the quality of the ingredients superior, altogether with the portions which are abundant. n appetizers, one salad, one side and one main course for 200 AED. Also the staff is very nice and super careful to every need, and the service was fast. Considering the overall experience it was a very massive experience.

Not that great as expected. The one thing we got angry was the presentation of the vegetable salad they gave us to eat, the vegetable size and very big and some as it is.We felt expensive because, usually we get hamus & garlic along with the grill items but we have to make seperate order.The mix grill we had was not tht good.

The place is very clean the staf is helpful and fast and thay are available for you all the time but the food is not what it was its for me like not the same one in Dubai thay should more afert on the test

It is one of the best Syrian restaurants you can eat in it has clean shop and high food quality but the only problem there is the prices because you can pay higher than other restaurants and get less food

I wasnt too happy! The service was soooooo slow despite us being the only customers at the restaurant at that point of time and the servers kept staring at us..for nothing which made the the whole dining experience very weird. I liked the hummus with meat it was made very well but was disappointed with the kebab platter..soo pricey for the quantity!There are places with much better service & quality around sharjah. :))

One of the best restaurants in Sharjah. We tried grill chicken and Arabic plate shawarma. Both were unique in taste and really loved it. It’s worth paying as the taste and quantity of food was really excellent. I would recommend this as a must try if you ever visit Sharjah.

The best Syrian restaurant in the UAE.I have been going their Dubái and Sharjah branches for the last 8-9 years and everything the food and the service were excellent.The taste of the food is amazing.Their prices used to be very good, recently they have increased the prices but still is reasonable compared to other restaurants with similar standard and taste.Their Hummus with meat is something special.If you are visiting this place for the first time, do not forget to try their hummus with minced meat and pine nuts and mixed grill.It’s one of the places where you can order anything from the menu and everything tastes good.I would say, it’s a place that never disappoints.

If you find yourself randomly driving around Sharjah like I did just recently and really need to eat and love Middle Eastern food then you’re in luck, because Aroos Damascus is an amazing place to stop by. Honestly, their food is some of the best anywhere in the UAE. It’s clear that they care about their preparations and their portions are massive!While there will not be much English spoken and the interiors are far from being ‘designer’ - none of this really matters because what you’ll end up with on your plate will be simply amazing.All of the classics are there and they’re all done beautifully, this is one place not to be missed.Stand outs include the Hommos with Meat (AED 23), the Grilled Quail (AED 42and the Fattah Shawarma (AED 23).You could basically order anything - which I kind of did - from their massive menu and chances are it will be fantastic - which it was.

These are the kind of restaurants that make the dubai residents envy sharjah residents. Great taste, not too fancy but awesome in taste and service. If you are in sharjah and looking for kebabs or a grilled hamoor, this is the place to go. Good ambiance, ample seating with separate family section. Only reason I am giving 4 stars is because they dont take card payments but there is an ATM very close. At this time and age, they really should upgrade. Parking can be a bit difficult during peak times. So be prepared to drive around a bit.

This restaurant holds a great rating of 4.4 out of 5.Majority of the people who review and love to have good food will trust the reviews and go ahead to have food here and so did I with my friends today.All of my friends including me wanted to try some selected food from here. We went and took a seat and the waiter comes and gives us the menu. After 2 mins, this bald waiter comes and asks our order and it took us quiet sometime to tell him the order as we were just increasing the quantity of the same food so me and my friends decided to order 2 normal chicken shawarma, 1 mexican chicken shawarma and 3 falafel shawarma. The waiter while we were telling him the order kept looking at the other side, not caring about what we are ordering and telling him since a minute and he takes our order and goes. Then, another waiter comes and serves us plates with spoon and forks, and then again the bald waiter comes and while my friend was reading the menu, he snatches away the menu from his hand and goes. Till this part, we were patient enough to bear this horrendous behavior.Exactly after 2 minutes, the same guy who has given us plates and spoon/fork, comes and takes away all what he gave us and left the table empty again and this time he gives us one khubus basket and goes. Our food came in sometime and we started to have our food.I dont know why but the shawarma was OK at its best. There was no juicy-ness in it, it was dry, no tahina or neither any garlic paste was in it and all the time it felt like we were just munching chicken, I understand it is a chicken shawarma but it felt so horrible while eating. Later, we moved into having our falafel sandwich and to my shock it was even worse. It was a cold bread which just had cucumber, salad and one or half of falafel stuffed into it which was just like a frozen sandwich. The bald waiter just kept staring at us like we had a personal issue with him. I honestly dont know why this place has such rating where staff does not even know how to serve people politely, the way they treated us seemed like they were unhappy with our small orders but being a reviewer who has been into the most pocket friendly places to posh places to have food, even in the smallest order in a posh restaurant will never judge you or make you feel uncomfortable this way because their restaurant is making an earning and that is what matters to them.I am laughing at this point while typing this line, but then another waiter just took the basket of khubus also, like they dont even care if we will have it now or later, they just want to take away everything from your freaking table. While the bill was ready, the bald guy told us to pay right away in the table itself when I kept insisting to pay in the cash counter which is the same thing as the table and he was giving a bad attitude. I personally went to the manager and explained all this issue and all he said was OK so personally he does not give a damn about it.A small suggestion to people who show such horrible attitude, remember we pay for eating and we dont eat it for free, so learn how to show customer satisfaction so the customer returns to your restaurant with his/her last experience.I will NOT recommend this place to people at any cost. I am surprised they did not take the money at least before we had our food or received our order. :))Highly disappointed.

We eat here quite often when craving for Arabic syrian food.it is expensive but taste is definitely worth the price. Crispy falafal, best zatar Manakish, chicken halabi is our favourite. Unlimited hot & fresh arabic bread to eat along. This place is clean as well as the bathrooms.

Great dining experience @Aroos Damascus restaurant last night. We were celebrating anniversary & it was a perfect treat for my wife with only middle eastern cuisine. Decent Ambiance, Good customer service - polite, hospitable, guiding, make-you-feel-home kind of. Recommendation by the attender was awesome - KABAB ORFALI. All the ordered dishes were delicious & the salad was so fresh as if direct from thre farm. Definitely recommend this place to the readers. Parking space available in front as well as behind the restaurant. Spacious seating arrangement in the family section. Negative point - Cash only, no option for payment by card.

The food is really good with a heavy quantity. Their hummus is the best so far I have had.Shawarma is amazing for take aways.They have also parking behind the restaurant if you take the bill which is amazing. Kind staff. Heads up : Only Cash is accepted.

I have got to say, their portions are quiet generous. All of the complimentary starters have generous servings as well. Kebab Halibi, I think it was called, tasted great. Ordered Falafel which was crisp and fresh. I am not usually a fan of falafel, but what they had to offer was really good. Ordered standard Arabic Plate Shawerma. I ended up forgetting to click a picture once it arrived since it was just so tempting and we all just dived right in. Shawerma had good quantity of chicken as well as sauce.
