Museum of Pakistan's military history featuring relics & photographs, plus an airplane & old tanks.
Most of the time close for public, visited on weekend as school were closed but they were asusall closed and today for special visit. What to say about their timings 0900hrs-1500hrs, time when kids are at school, i don’t know whom they want to show the museum, they should change the timings so that single parent can shop while kids can visit museum with other parent.Think over it.
Army Museum Rawalpindi is the lovest place to visit, whenever you enter in it your feelings change due to respect and love for your mother land....!!❤️😘🥰💕🥳🤩✨🎊❤️🥳💕
I first visited this place in 2005 the route was open from every side the CSD was a small market at the back side me and my aunt visited the market then inside from CSD there was a way which leads to the Saddar fact the roads of GHQ were open at that time and we walk through the GHQ and go to the Saddar Bazar#interestingthings.
Its a worth visiting place. A great learning
Everywhere in the world, relevant places are opened and special functions are arranged on the relevant day. Here, on 6th September, the army meusuem is closed on account of a holiday. You get ready your children, tell great stories and go to let them see our history. But on the gate, a paper is pasted that we have a holiday so the meusuem is closed. What a joke to children!!
Have to check availability on open days as well since it could be closed for official purposes etc. Usually open on weekdays but was closed when we went on a Tuesday.Parking is ample due to the adjacent CSD store parking space and a family trip can easily be planned along with grocery shopping.
Outstanding place for visit if you love army and see how tuff the job actually 👍👍👍

Great place to get aware of Pakistan army and civil history
Wonderful Museum with a lot of information to be gained. Definitely worth a visit.
A most wonderful display of our national military assets! It was a great surprise at first to see such an extensive and diverse collection of weapons, vehicles, articles, equipment and wax models. The museum is divided into multiple halls with each hall denoting a specific part of the military history of Pakistan. Each of the article is tagged with relevant historical anecdote which gives an insight into how the article found its place into the museum. The tanks and artillery pieces displayed outside are just mesmerizing too!Definitely worth visiting if you ever go for a visit the Twin Cities.
Great museum for Army lovers and history lovers. You can visit the museum before 4pm. No matter you are alone, with family or friends, its a great place to learn and enjoy. All military equipments, ammo, machinery, vehicles, scenarios and history demonstrated and exhibited in a great manner. Photography is allowed. You can buy some trophies, badges, hats, cups etc for kids and for yourself from shop inside there. You must visit once if you are in Islamabad or Rawalpindi.

I havent seen anything as beautiful as this Museum. Everything looks realistic, it made me emotional to watch the 3D effects with sound effects in that mini theater. Only an Army Jawan can handle that. Keep it up guys!
