Thessaloniki 546 24, Greece, Serres
Vast, waterfront public square, designed by Ernest Hebrard & surrounded by mansions & cafes.
Well, its a square, so not many things to rate here. I liked the variaty of stores and dinners around it, and also the fact that while its considered a squared, it surely covers a lot of space. The only thing I would improve is the cleaning, while its pretty nice and spacious it could use a bit of extra care.
Beautiful! With big stores (like Zara, H&M, Stradivariusand a mall nearby.
A tourist attraction in Thessaloniki with many restaurants and cafes
Was a modern busy square,by numerous food outlets. Stature of the man himself was also there. Not much historical input as there was a devastating fire and earthquake that kevked everything in the 1900s
Nice square in the centre of the city, yet quite weird structure of the curved building, looks like was build in this century. A lot of bars and restaurants around.
Beautiful place lots of other sightseeing places in the area. A lot of bars/restaurants close by and a nice view on the sea
A large square that isnt particularly special.used as a meeting spot for a walk.other than a statue hard to find any connection between ancient greek civilization and present day reality
Great spot for grabbing a coffee or dinner, nice view of the waterfront
Thessaloniki, one of my favorite cities in Greece!!! Energy all around you, amazing bars and restaurants with see view and great food and service.A place that I always like to go to visit again!!!
Very wide, nice buildings, lots of shops and restaurants.
By far the most beautiful place downtown.
I loved the feeling of openness to the sea... its amazing! We followed tradition and touched Aristotels large toe so we will most definitely return to Greece!
It is definitely a must for every visitors coming to Thessaloniki. With a lot of coffee shops around here good place for the kids to play beautiful seaside view
You can enjoy the sunset from here. Whole Thessaloniki is with you around 8 pm. Very good restaurants and bars around
Big and beautiful. Next to sea.
Nice square, statue of Aristotel being the main attraction. Vodka bottle shape is a nice fun trivia about this place.
Like a trip to old times ….Aristotelous is a part from all our lives, everyone should have walk ,eat, take a Kaffee or eat here! Good for tourists as well to shop gifts
Its an accessible spot. A very crowded square. Full of young people just hanging around. A lot of cool coffee places and food places around. A great meeting spot if you are lost.
I like here. Firstly very crowded (i like it:)near the sea and you can listen some good music from street singers.
In heart of the centre, great view, big Aristoteles statue.
Great and expansive place to hang out. Many shaded places to sit. Great restaurants all around. The sea front always provides a gentle breeze.
A nice place in the city. A lot of shops, restaurants, bakeries, ice cream and cakes shops. If you go down the road you will reach the harbor, where you can find a promenade where you can walk near the water or sit at one of the many restaurants or bars in the area. If you go up the road, you will find a nice big market. If you walk through the main roads in the erea you will find a lot of brand shops for clothes.
A huge and long square from somewhere 3rd parallel street with a seafront till the seafront with caffes and ice-cream shops
Good amount of restaurants and cafés around the area, alittle pricey due to being in a main tourist area.Lots of scams in then evening and on weekends from bracelets scams to sign up/clipboard scam just something to look out for.
So good for walking)
Its a wonderful place,a magic place ,with an speciale arhitecture.Thesaloniky is my favorite Town. There is the most important square dedicate to Aristotel.Twelve of these building are național monumente.I recomand!
Nice place at the harbour front. And a statue of Aristoteles.
Make sure you buy seeds for the pigeons from the local vendors. It is a mind blowing visit when multitudes of pigeons who eagerly await you to feed them flock all around you. Also, bring your sweet tooth as Thessaloniki is the sweet Capital of Greece. You wont find chocolate covered tsourekia this good anywhere else.
It is beatiful place in Thessaloniki
Nice place to visit, very dynamic atmosphere with lots of different people. Definitely recommended to visit when being here in Thessaloniki
The most famous and the most beautiful square in North Greece near by the port and in the heart of the city with plenty of cafes and restaurants and take away places also a lot of benches to sit and enjoy
The 2nd greatest square in Greece .So many things to see and to do . If you visit While Christmas holidays you are will see great decoration. All year round this place makes you feel alive with hundreds of cafeterias, restaurants, hotels and others. Be a little bit aware of people there though and be careful if you walk near the port because there is no fence while walking from the port path .
Really busy and buzzing Square full of action. There is a cinema nearby, the lovely beach, shops and restaurants alike, making it a hot-spot for tourists. Thoroughly enjoyed the area, stretching further to other busy spots without noticing the walk. Id suggest walking around and searching your preferences on Google Maps to find the right food place, though Id strongly suggest traditional restaurants. Checkout my reviews of restaurants in Thessaloniki. There are loads of things to see and do around.
The main square in the city center, starts widely on the waterfront to become narrow by the Tsimiski street (in it’s shape it resembles a bottle). There are cafes near and a confectionary (as Greeks are partial to sweets). If you go further inland you will reach the Mondiano Market. I didn’t like the simple, concrete surface of the square.
Its a popular square with a magnificent view to Olimp mountain, a lot of coffees and shops.
Its a very pretty square, the Christmas market is beautiful. The shopping there isnt great and I wouldnt recommend much of the food, but its a must see of Thessaloniki.
Aristotelous square will be the place to be at Christmas season!! Good job ThessalonikiWe love you 💜💜💜❣️❣️❣️
Aristotelous square is the main city square of Thessaloniki, it is located on Nikos avenue - on the city waterfront in the center. It was designed by French architect Ernest Hebrard in 1918, but built in 1950, buildings around were restored in 2000s. The hotel is amazing! The square is full of life and people, you can refresh yourself in the nearby bars.
Plenty of shopping and many restaurants to choose from. Its getting festive for the holidays! Visit this place in the center of the city to experience live music being played by locals, enjoy breakfast, lunch, or experience some night life. Very close to the sea side also.
Beautiful, breathtaking and a significant place to visit when youre in Thessaloniki.Full of nice shops and restaurants. The nicest view of Thermaikos and the best place to take photos.
Amazing Promenada. Artistotelous square is a must-visit place in Salonic. Plenty of street singers, shops and tavernas around, restaurants.
Beautiful coastal boulevard with many restaurants. "Aristotelous" is a favorite place to visit by tourists and locals.Very good place for a walk and fun.The square of the same name is also very beautiful and worth seeing.
Aristotelous Square is the Central Square in Thessaloniki City. During Christmas period you can see in the photos decorations and a big Christmas tree 🎄 with many lights. People come here to take photos and have fun at this wonderful period of time.
Its the main square from thesaloniki, so if you are in Thessaloniki you should definitely check this square
One of the biggest squares I have ever been to! It is spacious and it’s surrounded with buildings, mostly hotels. In december it’s a little bit windy and cold but you won’t be freezing. You can find restaurants, cafes, bakerys and many more places on it. However it is crowded and they are many thieves so you constantly have to watch your things and it was not a pleasant experience!
A large square that ends the pedestrian shopping mall that is at the center of Thessaloniki. The views are good in every direction. With your back to the sea you can see the hills of Thessaloniki. The seaside promenade, which is at the bottom end of the square, is a great place to stroll and watch the sunset. The likeness of Aristotle is in the middle of the square that carries his name. Compared to the square, the statue is somewhat of a letdown.
A lively historical sea front with plenty of bars and restaurants. Some expensive places but not always the best quality . If you take a little walk away from the beautiful square you will find much nicer food and drinks.
Happening place in Thessaloniki, best time to have a walk and people watching in this beautiful place surrounded by ocean on one side and beautiful old buildings and pubs and walking street for food and shopping . Love the local pastries and ice cream .
The square is set alongside the sea and is a good starting point for exploring the sights of the city. Many cafés and shops are located in the square, and the statue of theAristotle. You can not get out of there without squeezing it tightly for a finger on your left foot - so, they say, you will catch wisdom from the ancient thinker!
The belly of the city and where most big outdoor events take place. In your walking tour make sure to stop here for amazing sea views, the statue of Aristotle (to your left as you look towards the sea), the vibrance of the moment (many times youll find events happening.
