Great food and friendly staff!

I’m on my way back to Winnipeg from Calgary and wont something warm for my lunch. It’s highly recommended #40 Spicy Soon Tofu Hotpot with steamed rice . Reasonable price, nice staffs, and They also have Lunch Buffet which we will try next time.

Best restaurant in town in my opinion! Authentic Korean and Sushi plus great service. They are super friendly and sweet. Food is priced really well. Everytime we ask the kids where they want to go an early they shout Arirang!!!

Water tasted a little funky to me, but the food and service was top notch. Highly recommend the Korean fried chicken with a side of rice, it can’t be beat. Would probably eat here more often if I was from the area.

Great food, great service and a dedicated gluten-free menu! Companion and I had dinner after a long day on the road. My katsu meal was crispy and delicious with a savory mayo based sauce drizzled over top, with a side of rice, salad and miso soup. My partner had a gluten free bowl with tofu and we shared a tuna roll. For me, the star was the bean sprout appetizer. What a wonderful surprise! Who would think that the lowly bean sprout, devoid of flavor and interest could be elevated to such heights? Bean on their own are mostly bland and are added to dished for their crunch, which disappears when cooked. But these... wow! They had all kinds of flavor: slightly salty and sweet, sesame and umami, and retained most of their crunch despite being cooked. Bravo. Plates, bowls, cups etc were all spotless, as was the washroom. Service was very attentive and thoughtful, and the chef even came out to double check the gluten free part of the order. Prices were good for what we got. Only reason I am not giving 5 stars is because it was quite cool in the restaurant, and there was some idiot loudly swearing, creating quite a disturbance at an adjacent table for the 45 minutes we were dining, but was not addressed by staff.

First time here and it was the best experience ever. The man there explained a few different dishes and showed us pictures. The flavour and quality of the food was absolutely amazing! Do not be dissuaded by the stark street appeal or the casual simpleness of this restaurants interior! You will miss out on a wonderful meal if you do. My table of 3 made our first visit to Arirang last night. We wanted to share and sample everything so we each ordered won ton soup & shared an appetizer of crab stick tempura roll. Our entrees were Chicken Yaki Udon & Miso, Sweet & Sour Pork and Korean Fried Chicken with red pepper and garlic sauce. Everything was delicious and we felt very welcome by the attentive staff. If we had any complaint at all, it was that our soup and appetizer came at the same time as our entrees. This possibly was a cultural difference and we shouldnt have assumed they would come first. We should have made a point of requesting this. Well definitely be back.

The food is so flavourful. The chef cooks eggs to perfection. It’s family friendly. They have high chairs, special cups, cutlery and plate for toddlers which I thought was super thoughtful.

One of my favorite places to go for dinner in town, there Korean dishes are great and I love there sushi. Also they are very quick at making the dishes, so if your in a hurry its a good option too

Fantastic food, ordered a variety of dishes and all were tasty. Mix of Asian cuisine with some hard kitting Korean dishes including the Crunchy Chicken. Really nice staff, good with kids. Would recommend.

Passed through here over the summer from Calgary to Regina. Wasnt sure what to expect for food from visiting a smaller city, but was pleasantly surprised at the menu and quality of food. Staff were also very polite, food was excellent and enjoyed by all. If we ever pass through Medicine Hat again we will be picking this place first!

One of my favorite restaurants in Medicine Hat, the staff are super friendly and they run your food so fast, also they desifect the tables after costurmers leave, I really appreciate how careful they are.Today I tried Beef Kimchi Ramyun and my husband tried Beef Yaki Udon, both were delightful.

In Medicine Hat, Arirang is one of the only local Korean restaurants I would highly recommend. Their assortment of authentic Korean food items along with sushi and other Asian cuisine is versed and delectable. The owners and staff are diligent with the upkeep of the store, their menu, and are extremely kind to their customers. Great place to check out if you live in the area or are visiting from out of town!

I am a regular. Good venue, good service. The best is the food. Its a rare oppotunity to enjoy different food in medicine hat and this restaurant hit the taste buds every time.

Its a small family ran restaurant that has about 3 to 4 staff. Food they serve is sizzling hot and tempura doesnt taste like old grease. Although their items is a bit on the sweet side. Its a hidden gem in MH, definitely worth a visit if you are on the road and craving for some hot soups.

We were on the road and had a stop to eat. We eat a lot of Korean food and this place tasted amazing, fresh and delicious. Also, the service was pleasant and kind. What a good place to have a good meal if you need a pick me up. Cheers!

The service was EXTREMELY QUICK. The food also tends to be amazing! You can literally pick off the menu blind and you’ll like what you get served! It’s menu is diverse, too including items like “crazy spicy shrimp” and “Bibimbap” While also having the food DELICIOUS and decently fresh. It’s inside is decent, too. This is like a diamond in coal, don’t judge a book by its cover! I DEFINITELY RECOMMEND THIS! :D

OMG first time here and one of the best korean restaurants Ive ever been to!!! The best wonton soup Ive ever tasted!!! I also love their japchae!!! Highly recommended and will be back for sure! I think this place will be one of my fav now here at Medicine Hat after 1 month since I moved from Calgary. Also the staffs are really nice and accomodating.

Very good place.I had the tufu hot pot and was delicious, has pork, egg, shrimp and tofu in it, perfect for a keto diet.It comes with a side dish of withe rice.My friend has the spice pork, the pork was very good too.Service was great, the place was clean and with extra barriers between the booths.Definitely I can stop by here next time I am passing by Medicine Hat.

We were pleasently surprised with the authenticity and quality of the food served. The owner and staff are very friendly and welcoming. We ordered the tofu stew and bhibihmbap which was served with some side dishes. Overall dining experience was comfortable and the cost was very reasonable. I will definitely visit again the next time Im in Medicine Hat.

We went here for the first time last night, and it was absolutely delicious. We ordered a ton of food and it all came quickly, freshly and deliciously. I was a little sceptical that the sushi AND the Korean dishes would both be good, but everything was amazing. Sushi was fresh- large portions and all the ingredients were flavourful and generous. Pork bulgogi, Bibim-Bap and Chicken Teriyaki were all full of delicious tender meats, beautifully spiced, and the sauces were very good. We will definitely go back here again. So glad we found this place- I’m used to eating cheap, plentiful sushi and Korean food and this place delivered all that I wanted. Can’t wait to eat here again!

I lived in Korea for 2 years and this was very authentic food, decent price and good portion sizes. I think I waited less than 5 minutes from ordering to being served, and it was a very clean and comfortable restaurant. Will definitely be going back for more!

We decided rather last minute to give this place a try. We have lived in the Hat for a year and drove by it often.What a mistake that has been!Service was welcoming, humorous and pleasant! Atmosphere is clean, decorated and furnished comfortably.And the food?? THE FOOD! Oh my word... food was very quick (quicker than McDonald’s hahahot, delicious! Amazing flavours, lots of options, cooked and taste to perfection.Service continued to be pleasant and prompt throughout the meal and three of us ate a ton of food with left overs for under $60!We will be back again and again for sure.

Havent really had a lot of Korean food. We had an enjoyable experience here. Food was decent and tasty. Owners were friendly and made recommendations. My daughters enjoyed the K pop background music. I would come again to try different dishes.

Came here with my friend and the service was awesome. Clean and has a nice atmosphere. The waitress even played a kpop song we requested. The food was delicious. Definitely recommend!

The food was great. We each ordered a different flavour of Bulgogi, marinated meat on a bed of vegetables with a bowl of rice. The food was tasty and hot. The prices for the food are very reasonable and the owners are friendly and helpful. Will definitely come back here.
