As someone accustomed with ancient history the contents of this exhibition are very interesting. However the way these contents are presented really could be more attractive. It lacks character or interactive elements.The exhibition is not big. If you read all of the text, which gets really weary to be honest, you can take in all of it in about 20 minutes.I would recommend this to people with intrinsic interest in ancient (Europeanhistory who dont mind reading a lot of text.

При толкова много археологически открития в региона през последните два сезона, очаквах много повече....Приземен етаж, малко и малки залички. Един служител, който се разкъсваше между продаване на билети и бързи общи беседи, изнесени на входа на музея. Госпожата - уредник определено се гордее със сбирката и високият й /несъмнено/ професионализъм я подтикваше да сподели колкото се може повече информация с посетителите, за което й благодаря!

Много впечатляващ археологически музей, интересен с нови подводни проучвания. Заслужава си да се посети. Завладяваща изложба на венецианско откритие на стъклени съдове в град Бургас.

In diesem Haus ist im 1. Stock die Stadt Bibliothek untergebracht. Leider ist sie viel zu klein für die Stadt. Unten gibt es ein archäologisches Museum.Zur Zeit ist hier die Ausstellung "Das Thrakische Silber" zu sehen. Die Ausstellung ist zu empfehlen.

Rich exhibition and nice presentation.You can see some treasures, including underwater archaeology finds.It is not a big museum, but it is worth a visit.

Interesting and well organized museum. Silver exhibition is very interesting and wort the money and the time. And at the end you can cut your own unique coin!

Situated in the very center of the city, on Bogoridi Boulevard, you can include this in your tour to learn more about local history.

I saw this museum for 10 leva which included a tour of four museums in Burgas. The gold collection itself is wonderful enough to deserve that price!! This is one of the best museums in Bulgaria: has a new look, very unlike the typical communist ones, allows photos of items, it tells a story and it has detailed descriptions of the artefacts in English, doesnt get better than that. Congratulations to the curators and to the city of Burgas for hosting such a gem!

Хубав и добре поддържан музей с добре подредена експозиция! Има семеен билет и атракция посетителите сами да си изсекат монета (такава възможност има и в "Акве Калиде").

I had the chance to see one of the world oldest golden treasures. It would be nice to have some interactive information.

Muzeum na głównej ulicy w Burgas. Nie jest zbyt obfite jeżeli chodzi o eksponaty. Warto zwiedzić ale nie należy oczekiwać wielkich fajerwerków. Jeżeli chodzi o obsługę to posługują się podstawami języka angielskiego ( z resztą to problem całego miasta jeżeli chodzi o języki obce). Na pewno punk do zwiedzenia w mieście ale od muzeum w Nessebar odstaje...

Good place e to get know some informations about the prehistyory and antiquity of Burgas region. Good amout od informations on basic level for everyone, great artifacts. The museum.is reather small but its os ani advetage due to the fact you are not pressed with archaeological heritage.

Еще один не самый большой и заслуживающий посещения музей Бургаса. Достаточно хорошо организованная эскпозиция, интересные эспонаты, не избыточная и нормально представленная текстовая информация.

Niewielkie, niezbyt nowoczesne, ale przyjemne muzeum. Prezentuje najstarszą historię regionu. Wystawa czasowa poświęcona była skarbom - biżuterii, pieniądzom oraz złotym naczyniom odkrytym między innymi w grobowcach.

Very nice museum, informative, doesnt take too long to go through the whole collection.

Very well prrsented exhibition. It gives an amazing timeline of history along the Black Sea from the Stone Age. Definitely worth an hour or more. The Golden Treasure display is fantastic. We loved It.

Very nice museum, small and very well arranged. We spent there one hour reading and day dreaming about the past ages. The exposition of gold treasures is also a must to see.

Маленький, але доволі цікавий. Спершу думав, що експозиційні зали займають два поверхи, але потім виявилося, що один. Чимало знахідок експонується із найдавніших часів, із розкопок грецьких та римських колоній, періоду Середньовіччя, є ціла зала і з коштовностями різних епох. Загалом тут дуже гарні експозиції + можна придбати за знижкою один білет на три або навіть 4 музеї. Крім цього, дітям до шести семи років вхід безкоштовний. Персонал дуже вічливий, середньо знає англійську і завжди радий допомогти. Під будівлею є безкоштовний хороший Wi-fi.

Маленький милый музей с богатейшей коллекцией древнего золота.вход стоит 5 лев для взрослых и 2 лева для детей. Можно купить взрослый абонемент на посещение 4 городских музеев за 10 лева. Но для детей таких комплексных билетов нет, к сожалению

We loved this museum. As you move through the museum it tells a story of the Eastern Balkans starting from the copper age through the middle ages. There are many artifacts to go along with the story. The displays are all well documented in Bulgarian and in English. We thought that the collection of coins that were minted in the area was probably the highlight. Some are in amazingly good condition. We even learned something new about amphoras, which is hard to believe. Plan to spend about an hour if you need through all the descriptions.

Visited during a visit to Burgas. Love history and thought this was a nice museum. Wasnt expecting much, but it was nice to see.
