Without hesitation this is the best place to eat in paphos, away from the crowds with traditional home cooked food. I had stifado, the beef was unbelievably tender and my better half had the sea bass which was amazing. Thanks for a very memorable meal

Very friendly staff, owned by a lovely family. The food was great, the atmosphere was very calm and private. The food was also presented very nicely and the prices were very reasonable. The owner was the loveliest we ever met at our stay in cyprus. Compared to all the restaurants at the harbour it was authentic and delicious!

Visited this restaurant last night! We both had different set menu options! Between us we had garlic mushrooms and scampi to start which were both fabulous! This was followed by ribs in barbecue sauce and sirloin steak Diane! The best steak Ive had in absolutely ages! Was cooked to perfection and a lovely thick cut with no fat in sight! Then followed pancakes with ice cream- again fabulous! Then came fresh watermelon and coffee liquers!Excellent value for money and lovely friendly owners! Will definitely be returning next time for Mousaka as owner assures me its the best which Im sure it will be!In 1 word fantastic

One of my favourite restaurants in Kato Paphos. Its a small family run place so dont expect top tier service, but the menu is one of the tastiest Ive found. Moussaka is amazing (much better than Windmill next door), kleftiko likewise, halloumi not rubbery. Village wine almost as cheap as milk. Nothing not to like. Only improvement would be follow-up service & water for table. Excellent value too.

Still one of the best traditional Greek taverna in Paphos do not believe what you read about it not being cooked fresh and supplied by supermarket. This is Greek cooking at its best

Great family run traditional Greek restaurant. Lovely food and great value for money, I would certainly recommend a visit if your in the pafos central area.

Had a fantastic meal here everytime I visited the klefka was fantastic and very filling the staff were warm and friendly and the price was right in the expected range for the food if anything I think you get more for your money will definitely be going here again when I visit paphos next year

Best food in Cyprus! We have been to many restaurants in Cyprus over the years and this is by far the best. The food is very delicious, nice and relaxed atmosphere, staff very friendly and polite but not intrusive. Huge portions and will not leave you wanting more! Highly recommended!

Their moussaka is indeed delicious! And they have vegetarian moussaka as well 👌🏼

Had such a lovely evening at Argo, the staff were SO lovely and beyond helpful! The food was so delicious and the best food weve had here in Pafos so far! Would absolutely recommend to anyone who loves good food and a friendly atmosphere! I had the beef stroganoff and My husband had the T Bone Steak, just flawless! Thank you!

We were here a few days ago after reading good reviews on google maps and on lonely planet.And need to say we’re totaly disappointed.Instead of warm pitta bread we’ve got few slices of simple white bread.Sea food cocktail consisted only of small prawns in some sauce,in fact quite good , but not as we expected.And the main dish-lamb chops was overcooked or maybe warmed-up.Chops were dry and hardly to chew up.Only Keo was OK,but maybe because it was only bottled.

One of the worst restaurants Ive ever eaten at. Definitely the worst Ive eaten at in the last few years. When I saw a 3 course meal for €17.95, I thought "this must be too good to be true". Eating here was a powerful reminder to me that if it looks too good to be true, it usually is.After ordering, we had to wait 30 minutes for the starter. Prior to the starter arriving, the waiter gave us a basket of dry, unappealing bread that looked like it couldve been plucked from any supermarket shelf. When my starter did arrive, it was covered in mayonnaise, it looked like the kind of meal a 15 year old would buy from any old cheap food shop after school. Visibly dissatisfied, I was then offered an alternative, to which I said yes, I applaud the staff for their service here. However, it was basically just some oily, overly salty mushrooms on a square plate. Simply pitiful.After finishing our starters, we then had to wait 25 minutes for our mains. Other customers were also suffering the same plight. When my main arrive, it had school canteen level presentation, complemented by prison level taste (never been to prison but I imagine this is how bad the food would taste there). My main was a sirloin steak and chips.The dessert arrived in much better time, it was simple, a pancake with some sugar. Nothing special.Avoid this restaurant at all costs! I wasted money here. Worst thing of all was that the lead waiter sweated so profusely that the sweat was dripping off his head! Absolutely disgusting! I prayed that he wouldnt serve our food, unfortunately he served 2 courses.

One of our favorites since many years. Lovely setting a bit away from the hustle and bustle and delicious food. Try the moussaka or the kleftiko (Tue and Sat). The big boss being away for a few days, the girls were definitely up to the task

Me and my wife went to Argo after a long day waiting.My wife wanted a meze but the waitress proposed instead a grill mix and said it is kind of small meze.First entries were delicious (mushroom and sea food salads). The deserts were also delicious ( yogourt and ice cream ).However the main entry was not good. The grill mix that my wife ordered was dry and not fresh ( possibly heated more than once.My tbone meat was better but still not sure it was recently cooked.Overall it could be a better experience!

Went in here early evening on the promise of moussaka (my wife was craving it before we went home). It was everything she wished for. The set price three course meal was excellent & very good value.

Excellent service, staff were all really nice. We had an absolute feast and it was great quality, portion size and value. Highly recommend if you are looking for some traditional Greek cuisine

Fantastic place to eat - very authentic food which is always excellently cooked. A lovely charm to the place.We visited previous years and are back again now.

Hearty, affordable and delicious food mixed with a lovely seating terrace outside and the very attentive and warm staff makes this a great option for the area. It is a few footsteps away from the tourist masses so you can enjoy a quite dinner. Wirth every detour.Try the Moussaka and thank me later!

Great atmosphere, very friendly owner. The food was amazing, especially for local dishes (moussaka, kleftiko, mezzes...)NB: if you want kleftiko you need to call the restaurant in advance. They prepare this local speciality only on Tuesday & Saturday but it is definitely the best dish we have tried there. You also need to call in advance if you want mezzes.

Great place for lunch or dinner. If you planning to try Cypriot meze, better to come earlier, as the process takes around 1,5 hours to cook and eat all of this.We had moussaka and pork ribs. Huge portions and very tasty food.Staff is great, attentive and polite. Good knowledge of menu and wine cart.

In the heart of pAphos , very lively restaurant with a variety of local dishes made carefully to satisfy your taste buds, the guy in charge is very nice and welcoming , very generous portions , we really enjoyed our night and we recommended it for all our friends

Such a lovely place!!! Incredible food, such a great variety! It was very delicious, massive portions, couldnt beat them. Will be going back again, as it was so so good. The service was very attentive and more than worth the money. The house wine was very nice too.

Absolutely excellent food here. We ate here as a family of four and we thought this authentic Greek Cypriot restaurant was superb. Moussaka was delicious and the prices are more than reasonable.Highly recommended.
