Argentina Polo Day in Zarate

We stayed in Buenos Aires and had arrived from Finland via the Patagonian Andes. We had just an amazing day at the Polo club.Definitely one of the top three experiences during our South American trip.Celia managed the reservations and Marcos was the perfect host. He picked us up at the hotel in Buenos Aires city centre and was always very attentive, polite and supportive.We learnt about the sport, tried the mallets on the pitch, saw a matchup with very skilled amateur players and had a very “Rico” Argentine lunch with carne asado, vegetables, wine, salads etc.On top of this we got to ride the horses and above all we all lined up for a game of polo OF OUR OWN.Truly a fantastic experience to try to master the horse and hit the ball in the midst of the game.Sweaty in the afternoon sun, difficult and SO MUCH FUN. Sorry for the capital letters 😁 but it is hard to describe it in words.Thank you Marcos and the rest of the team. All the best and hope to see you in the future.

Amazing experience! We came here from Vancouver, Canada and wanted to experience a day outside of the city of Buenos Aires. Celia was very responsive and answered any questions we had before our visit. Felicitas was our host and she was amazing. She was super friendly, informative, and easy to talk to. The ranch was stunning, such an incredible view. The food was delicious, the people were so kind and welcoming, and the animals were a bonus! They had a few dogs and a cat on the ranch as well. Overall, I would highly recommend this experience to anyone visiting Buenos Aires. They take care of everything for you including pick up and drop off and it’s really an authentic experience of a day on the ranch. Definitely a highlight of our three week trip! This is by far the best day we had in Argentina. We were picked up by Paola at our place in Palermo and we shared many stories on our way to the ranch... She is very knowledgeable and her storytelling is so pleasant and easy that we really enjoyed learning about city, town, ranch life, horses, customs, food... then once we arrived we were super super surprised of the extend of welcome set up, with wines, empanadas, fire going on, lunch being in works... Sunny perfect weather was such a blessing to breathe in all this... horses (over 100pastures, pool, guesthouse, manicured grounds... this was fabulous. Thank you everyone

I signed up for Polo Day not expecting too much from it as I am not someone who loves group activities but I had no idea what I was getting myself into. I was more than pleasantly surprised and this ended up being one of the highlights of my trip. Truly an unforgettable experience....We were picked up by a nice bus that took us to the property which was very very beautiful and serene. We were given a tour of the ranch and were given time to relax in the sun or in the shade with some wine or other drinks while a BBQ was being prepared for us. We then went to the field and watched a polo match and were explained the game and in between the breaks we practiced with just the sticks and the ball on the field. We then met with some players and were able to greet the horses. After the match, we had an amazing bbq with many vegetables and meats. It was like a feast!!! After, we were given the opportunity to practice some polo and play some friendly matches and if you did not want to join, you were allowed to go to pool that is in front of the field with great views. Depending on your level, you were split into teams or paired with other instructors who helped you as you went. After practicing and play a mini match, we went on a short trail ride before going back to the estate for some dessert and mate. This was an AMAZING and one of a kind experience that you cannot find anywhere else in the world in my opinion. The owners were present most of the time and were extremely welcoming, it felt like they were family friends. I highly recommend this experience, you will NOT regret it!!!!

Excelente lugar y atención. La gente que te recibe esta en cada uno de los detalles. ¡Y podés tener un día súper completo, donde miras polo, luego recibís una clase, realizas una práctica y luego a Jugar!! Uno no se imagina que puede terminar su día jugando al polo, pero sí sucede. Y obviamente este día acompañado de muy buena comida. ¡Súper recomendable!

Lindo lugar

Together with my daughter of 9 went for horse riding (no polo since we could not spend the whole day). We were warmly welcomed. Had big fun during the ride. Lots of galloping. And the asado was extremely ‘rico’. They put a table and everything next to a river (idyllic). We were treated like princesses! Ruben and his team know how to make their guest feel like VIP from the moment you step into their taxi until they drop you off at home.

The greatest experience in Buenos Aires ! Being able to go away from the city for a day and discover the beautiful countryside just 1 hour from BA is already great. But then you discover this incredible estancia and staff welcoming you as family and you feel at home !Discovering Polo in this place make it the best sport in the world ! And being able to actually play it...whoaaa !So greatful to have lived that perfect day with all the team : Pablo, Agustina and Ruben !And I dont even talk about the food !!Muchas gracias !

great place I visit the place several time. The host is very kind and funny. The best option to know what polo is about. Bbq one of the best I had and plenty of malbec wine.

Increible experiencia! Tuve la oportunidad de ir con amigos a pasar el día. Vimos un partido de polo profesional , comimos como reyes y por la tarde nos una lección de polo ! Recomendable!

Fui con unas amigas y estuvo espectacular todo, desde las actividades hasta la comida! Vimos un partido de polo excelente y comimos un asado buenísimo. Y, después, sin saber nada de polo, aprendimos y hasta terminamos jugando un mini partido. Volvería de nuevo, lo super recomiendo!!!

A unique experience where not only do you learn about polo but are also able to play and live an amazing experience with an excelent host as Ruben and Agustina. A must when in Buenos Aires

This was one of our highlights from our South America trip. We had a great time - food, hosts, polo and playing polo. This is a great escape for a day outside BA. A lot of us were not that experienced with riding horses (some not at all), but it was completely fine. The hosts were nearby if needed and the horses for the inexperienced riders were quite calm.Beyond that, it was a great crowd of people (I.e. the other customers). Tip: Bring USD if possible!

Argentina Polo Day was truly a highlight of our trip to South America. From the beautiful polo grounds to the delicious meals, the wonderful educating of the game & polo lessons themselves - this experience will be one we will remember with great joy and recommend to both friends and strangers traveling to Argentina. We met many genuine & fascinating people from all walks of life who were on the tour with us and truly appreciated the hospitable and educational instructors, chefs, players and staff. Pablo, Celia, and all the staff of Argentina Polo Club were not only of utmost hospitality but are some of our favorite friends that we made during our trip!

Incredible day and amazing team! This is a truly unique experience to get a complete taste of polo (alongside endless wine and steak!The ranch is beautiful, the staff are bilingual and friendly and make you feel safe, the horses are incredibly trained, and the entire day is coordinated perfectly and affordable for all they offer. I would recommend this trip to anyone from the vaguely interested in polo to riding experts. Definitely on my Buenos Aires must-do list!!
