Al Dhaid Road, Interchange 9, Sharjah Rural - Sharjah - United Arab Emirates, Sharjah
Breeding center for endangered local animals, including desert reptiles, baboons & Arabian leopards.
Nice place to spend a day. Entry fee is 20 AED only. There is a cafeteria inside the Arabian wild life, which has decent food for cheap price. Nice ambience, watching animals while having your snacks.Note: ticket purchase with cash only.
We had a blast on a Sunday afternoon, even with the scorching sun, we managed to roam around some of their open area included in their must see places in their Desert Park. We started from Kids Farm, roaming around feeding goats, seeing cows, vast of birds of budgies and ducks.. Then we went to Nature History and Botanical Museum,, Showcasing the history of Natural resources of the country UAE. Then last we went to Arabias Wildlife Center - Zoo for most arabias animals.. Good for the kids and adults too.. Not to crowded.. so you have enough time to explore with every bit of their stuffs their.. Visit and for sure, you will love it..
Wonderful experience. All are indoor so its easy to explore the place even in summer. Entry fee is AED 21 but kids upto 12 years free. Apart from animal, there are other natural beauty to explore. Only thing, zoo administration should add some more animal.Overall very enjoyable and we had good family time
Amazing Zoom park and amazing service, friendly staff, many thanks for all who all participated in this beautiful zoo park and museum.
I had a great experience with my son. He enjoyed feeding the animals. Free for kids, 20dhs for adults. He got free face painting at the museum. The canteen is pretty affordable. The only issue is transportation, if you are not driving, arrange your transportation ahead cos its far from town.
The best destination in UAE to visit in summer. We can access and enjoy wildlife centre, childrens farm, botanical garden and the history museum for just AED 20 per adult whereas the kids under 12 years can enter these areas for free. We can see so many animals and birds here that too indoor without any need to experience the hassle of outdoor heat. There are some activities too for the kids like drawing etc. Children will really enjoy this place.
Must see place in Sharjah... Unlimited views for kids.well maintained. Cool place...
A great range of animals reptiles and lots to see. The food choice inside is very basic but the entry fee is cheap and makes a good family day out.The improvement desperately needed for the wolves and leopard whos condition looked poor they were suffering heavily from the heat more needs to be done for there safety. The experience was good and I hope to come back again to see the animals in better condition.
Very good place my kids really enjoyed tickets also affordable
I highly recommend a visit. Great value for money and very enjoyable for kids. Not a digital or super modern experience but the place offers a fantastic opportunity to view Animals, explore natural history and even check out botany. Not our first visit and wont be our last. Top marks.
A goof experience and place for the price for the kids. Recommend going during sept to March to enjoy the pet farm and outdoor activities. The natural history museum was a welcome surprise
Its an indoor zoo but the animals are kept in their almost natural habitat. Perfect place to take your kids in this summer time as whole centre is air conditioned.Entry fee to desert park is 25 per adult and kids less than 13 go for free. Its open from 9 am to 5.30 pm. Entry fee is inclusive of access to 3 centres located inside the park - Arabias wildlife centre, Islamic botanical garden and museum. We didnt visit museum. Theres a small activity for kids in each centre and that gives extra happiness for the kids. Each centre has cafeteria and washroom facilities inside the centre. You can see a variety of animals like flamingos, birds, fish, snakes, frogs, small fish, scorpion, porcupine, fox, bats, Arabian oryx, baboon, leopard, gazelle and few other small species. Its worth to visit atleast once.
Our favorite place. Indoor viewing so its good to visit and be one with nature even in summer. Thank you for this well maintained entertainment area.It closes at 6 PM we would love to be there till 7 - 7:30 PM
Lovely indoor place to explore arabia wildlife .reptiles, lizards, leopards, frogs, birds, . And there is a small children farm . Well maintained. Perfect for kids n students..Tickets are nominal and with 20 aed one can visit all pavilions . If you are unable to visit all in a day you can come in 2 months time to visit . Isnt its amazing. In children farm there are many books related to animals and farm animals .overall a great exp.And yes for the food its very cheap compared to dubai . I found it even cheaper than dubai grocery shops
Good place for wildlife sanctuary and natural history and museum and a childrens park and reptiles are all are here. And there is lots of knight animals and hunting animals are there and i like the most is the indoor bird watching area its very good and very nice looking place every body must visit their i highly recommended the place
Wonderful place to visit with family. Good variety of species in the Wildlife Centre but if thats not your favorite area you can visit the other sections such as the National History Museum, Botanical Garden etc. Well priced and a fun, informative experience.
There were a lot of animals and me and my sister wanted to stay for 5 hours even though we needed pcr test.Animals.:🐍🦗🐆🐁🐀🦡🦔🦎🦉🦇🐟🐢🦂🦩🕊 and more. The above review is from my son😊Well, one of the best place all in one place you can say. Even in summer, you can enjoy indoor wildlife view, I think if someone want to visit properly need 2 days. Kids can go free below 13 years and adult ticket 21 AED.Keep in mind PRIOR PCR report needed in Al hosn app, as mentioned by my son yesterday we went & returned due to not having valid PCR test, strange thing was today another staff in ticket box and did not ask for PCR:(Better start with wildlife zoo, then Botanical museum, Children’s farm and them Islamic museum ( very large and need more time to visit the full area).A must go place for everyone value for money, canteen and cafe available, kids activity in children’s farm and toilets are very clean.
Nice place to visit even in the summer. Especially for kids to see farm animals and wild life closer. 4 hour trip with family will not be a loss. There is a small park for the kids too...
Its a lovely place to spend time if u love wildlife and nature. Good to go in summer or winter. Well maintained. Tickets ..r nominal free for kids. Canteen available inside
Informative, and fun to look at all the animals in their own habitat. Felt bad for cheetahs cos of the heat they were in :( but overall they were well fed, in their environment and treated amazingly
Huge indoor zoo kind of like green city planet but much bigger. Great for kids and even adults. Pricing is good too because it is part of 4 other areas that can be visited with 1 ticket.
Superb attraction for all ages! The centre is part of four attractions, that you pay 20dhs only at the entrance. The others are kids zoo, botanical garden and nature / history museum. The wild centre exibit so many creatures that live in the region, such as bugs, reptiles, frogs, rodents, mammals, birds and more. You could see different gazals, Al Maha which is the iconic animal of the region, other mamals such as baboons, cheetahs, hyaenas ...etc.The centre was inaugurated since 23yrs, but it is well maintained and serviced. It has rest rooms and a small restaurant in the middle were someone can enjoy snacks and the scenes of gazals / deers wondering around in controlled habitat. In addition, there are ample parking spaces outside.
Very nice place but be aware before you go,1- that you need to pay for the tickets in cash only though there is a paper hanged on the wall saying you can pay either cash or Visa.2- They are operating from 11 am.3- The ticket price is 21 per person.Very nice place you should visit all the locations inside.I loved the monkeys, but sadly all predators were a 😴💤, tiger, Wolf and Cheetah, and the Jaguar as well!Plants are fun to visit! And the kids farm is so nice for the kids to watch!Sorry my phone was dying and couldnt get everything in photos, Except this proud monkey 🐒 😁😆
Amazing places, full of animals, must visit. Who knew Sharjah too has its own place for preservation of wildlife.
Worth for money and many things to explore... Especially for kids...
Amazing place , yo can spend here almost all day. Natutal history , pet farm , endengered species Centre. We spend there nearly 4 hours ( mainly in natural history area ).Ticket is 21aed adult and kids are free.
They hav built an indoor area for the birds, flamingos etc. They fly around you.Kids loved it.
Its a family best suited for kids..Located in Sharjah Desert Park, Arabia’s Wildlife Centre hosts several animals, including the Arabian Oryx, the UAE’s national animal, and the Arabian leopard, the region’s famous big cat. These endangered animals have their own large landscaped enclosures and come from the nearby Sharjah wildlife centre where they are bred. Since they are rare animals to see, it is one of the busy tourist places in Sharjah. Sharjah Desert Park is also one of the only parks in Sharjah to have a conservation centre and an Islamic Botanical Garden.
Good place to be with kids. Now 20 aed ticket price. 5.30pm closing time. So go before that. 4 amenities there to visit. Ticket valid for 90 days. One visit per amenity. Enjoy here. Kids play area also there. I love this place this is my 4th visit .
Good experience, there are four locations. 1. Children farm 2. Arabian wild animals 3. Museum 4 Islamic plants . And children play area. Each pavilion very helpful for students and adults. Wildlife animal pavilion contains different types of snakes, birds , reptiles, fishes , and more . In museum contains different collections of fossils, animal statues, and study of earth, study of animals, uae history and more( I can’ t explain in the word. Children farm contains farm animals in the Arab countries. Islamic plants pavilion include detail study of the plant (this plant include in the Quran. This is good every student
Arabias Wildlife Centre is part of of Sharjah Desert Park. Im highly impressed with the arrangement and self education of this zoo. Kids would love it here and its free for kids. Ample parking space is available for private cars. Highly recommended.
A must visit place. Indoor zoo with air conditioned area. In this area, there is a friendly myna bird which comes and sits on your shoulder if you whistle. Kids will be scared when it flies across but everyone will enjoy. There are lots of animals to see. Childrens zoo helps kids to interact with the animals. There is also a souvenir shop from where you can purchase toys, stuffed animals and accessories. Islamic Botanical garden is another attraction that shows what all cultivation can be made in the UAE. It also gives an idea on the list of spices that we can plant.
It is a fantastic place for kids. They learn more about biodiversity.
Tip: Visit the place on weekdays to avoid large number of crowd - to be safe!21 aed per person is really affordable. A perfect place to spend with a family. There is a wide variety of arabian animals to appreciate. It’s all air conditioned and comfortable. Kids will really enjoy the place for sure. Hand sanitizers are all around the zoo. There is a wide place for birds to fly around.Dessert Park cafeteria is your typical cafeteria but placed in the moddle of the zoo. I like the view while eating. A little bit more expensive than outside cafeteria maybe because of the location inside the zoo.Highly recommended!
Very Nice place for kids , it consists of 4 parts where the kids will be excited.Kids are free and adult ticket is 20 AEDA must go place for kids
10/10 for this place. It only costs 20 AED per adult and children go free. Its completely indoor so you can even visit during the hot summer as well. Different sections for variety of animals and great educational experience for kids. Its on maleha road and approximately 15 mins drive from Sharjah international airport. The facility closes at 5.30 and you need approx 1 hour to visit the complete facility
Came here with my daughter and she thoroughly enjoyed it. The place was clean and the flow through all the animals was very smooth. Very decent variety and species of all animals. The best was the birds enclosure, really enjoyed it. Had a great experience overall, will definitely recommend it.
Amazing place the whole area consist of 4 spots wildlife Centre is one among them , you have separate sections for reptiles , Arabian animals insects frogs snakes birds wild animals , feeding area is also there small cafeteria located inside , animals are outside we are inside mostly good in hot weather also
If you are interested in long drive and you have kids, its one of the best exposures and nice place to visit with family & friends, wild like with quite an information about their breeds, types, origin etc, its also have museum. Its really good entertainment
Very Nice place to visit with children.* Indoor so no problem to visit in summer.* Clean and tidy place not too much crowded.* Animals are kept in good hygiene.Variety of animals, birds, insects, rodents, snakes !* Not an expensive place only 20AED for adult and children under 12 are free to enter.* Total 4 sections are there Wild life, Children Farm, Botanical garden and a museum.Make sure you have almost 3-5 hours to enjoy the place !
Nice place to go for kids.. its indoor so place to go in summer too.. its one of the section of desert park.Free for kids and 20dhs chg for adult.Have good collections of reptiles and amphibians, though less variety of mammals..Maintenance is superb.. all in all a place you wont regret visiting.. especially kids will enjoy.
Very nice place. Njoyed with family.
Excellent place!! Another hidden gem in Sharjah.Tickets are AED 20 for anyone over the age of 12. The ticket covers the Childrens Farm, the Arabian Wildlife Center, the Islamic Botanical Gardens and the Natural History Museum. Its a must see attraction, the animals are all very well looked after and kept in good, clean and large spaces. Theyve done this really well and kids and adults will enjoy it. The variety of animals are also incredible!!A setup like this in Dubai would have easily cost far more!!
We didnt visit the Breeding centre, we were juz entered the Desert Park which is shown on the Google map. Entrance fee was dhs20/person. There were no clear directions where were we suppose to go, thk God we tried our luck going into Arabias Wildlife Centre. We were there on a weekday therefore there wasnt any crowd. Overall, the lighting is pretty bad especially at the nocturnal animal settings, the signage lights were so bright u can hardly see the creatures featured as yr eyes need to adjust. The indoor bird sanctuary is huge but there are too many pigeons which u see everyday.

Nice place for family especially kids
The Place exceeded my expectations. 4 places in 1 . Wildlife , botanical garden, museum and farm animals. MUST GO.The only thing I didn’t like was people not respecting social distancing rules. More employees should be there to monitor some of the adults who need to be reinforced into following rules and not littering or touching what’s not supposed to be touched. GET CASH - they don’t accept contactless or card payments. Kids are for free.
Great place for a short visit out of city. The animals and birds are kept close to their habitat. Toilets, cafteria available. Museum and wildlife center are nearby and one ticket includes to visit both. The museum is very well maintained with a large park outside for kids to play. Can easily spend 2 to 3 hrs.
Arabia’s wildlife center in Sharjah is a hidden Arabian Jewel. Whether you’re an expert or a novice, an animal lover or wildlife photographer, this is the place to be.Roughly thirty minutes drive from Sharjah’s Sahara Center Mall this Animal magical kingdom is nestled in the heart of the Sharjah desert. With a plethora of wildlife, one can easily lose track of time at this place. It’s divided into 4 sections, a children’s farm, a museum, a botanical garden and an indoor Zoo. Kudos to the management of this amazing place and to Sharjah government for thinking of this project.
Great and unforgettable experience. The zoo is really fantastic. It is just not packed with animals but presenting them in a animal friendly and as natural as possible environment. Only negetive part 8 could notice is Wild animals are less in numbers.
