Tiny rooms, almost no space in dining room. Had to take it from dining room, to my room, and use cupboard as dining table. Breakfest itself was just a classic cereal, with toast n orange juice. I do not recommend staying in this place if youre on business trip, but if youre staying 1 night (E.g. Transit), its fine.

Avoid!!!One of the worst place I stayed. Sink and a shower were blocked all the time. I spoke with Manager and he apologized and promised to fixed next day because was after 6PM. I remind him of that first thing in the morning and he said that he will sort this out.Afternoon after I try to get back to him and ask why is not fixed, he just ironically smiles and said that will be sorted next day. Very bad attitude

I stayed here and wished I had not. The room was a health hazard. The mattresses were soiled and had brown stains, the carpet soiled too. The showers and windows were mouldy and the electrical applications such as TV were not very safe, and did not work.Went to the reception to complain about the window handle being broken and television not working, amkng other things only to be told they couldnt help until morning when the maintenance guys came. Went back in the morning after I discovered how grimy and unsanitary it was and was told that I should have told them sooner, that the soiled carpet was "not that bad" and that they would change my room. Definitely not suitable for human use and have made a formal complaint to Chelsea and Kensington council.

Dont stay here. Its a rat infested dump. The rooms are not cleaned between bookings. When you have a problem as in the rat kind the staff suddenly dont speak English. They refused to give me my money back even though the place is a complete health hazard. The so called breakfast is in a small dirty room with toast and cereal. I only had the coffee and that was only because there are no facilities in the tight cupboard they call a room. The electric socket fried my phone. There are now scorch marks on the wall casing. They didnt care about that either! Also, prepare to get cosy with the neighbours as there is no covering over the clear bathroom window.

Me my partner and son stated two nights here only used hotel to sleep in. Had breakfast one morning coffee and toast. We arrived early staff let us into a room to drop our bags off room but enough for the 3 of us to sleep in. Yeah bathrooms were small but at least it was a private bathroom. As for people moaning about the trains... they did run every 20seconds but if your in London you should be tired enough to sleep at night through it. We did. Stagg very friendly. Two second walk from the underground which was great. Overall I would actually stay again because of where it is situated also decent enough room for sleeping in.If your one of those people that pretend to be snobby but wont pay london prices for a hotel dont bother coming here youl just mean like the rest of the people writing these bad reviews.

Disgusting hotel. I saw bed bugs. The walls are so thin you can hear everything that the other guests are doing. It smells really bad and the window is broken so you cant even open it. Picking this hotel was the worst mistake ever. I would pay 30 pounds more and go to a better hotel.

Exactly what one needs for a short trip to London. Cant understand the negative reviews. Its warm, dry, safe and the staff is friendly. After all, when youre in London you shouldnt lie around in the hotel room anyway. Earls Court is a hop away, shops, Pub, a perfect set.

I stayed in this hotel for 4 nights with a room switch that cost me extra money. The positive:The staff is friendly and the location is niceThe negative:I think this was by far the worst sleep I ever gotten. The beds are dirty, the rooms shabby and most annoyingly the metro feels like it goes through your room adding extra noise to the already noisy thin walled environment. It feels like they aimed to put as many guest as possible in this house without any regard to comfort or standards. The breakfast dining rooms is overcrowded, and dirty since they cannot keep up with the turnover of guests eating there. On top of all they charge for everything, e.g. WiFi, room changes, extending the already early check out time of 10:30.All in all the only argument for this place is the price buy even then I would argue go for a hostel. At least you get stellar WiFi then.I would not recommend spending a night in this hotel and I will look for alternatives for my next time in London.

The price is the reason I dont give it one or even zero stars. The toilet was nasty, the breakfast was a no go and overall it didnt seem clean anywhere. Spiderwebs hanging from the ceeling etc. This is a hotell that works if you just needs to spend the night somewhere and then take off in the morning.

Waste of money.Pictures are extremely deceiving. Hotel is extremely dirty and disgusting, and the staff are horrifically unprofessional and as equally disgusting. They upcharge for every little thing you could think of - internet, more than one towel, etc. Breakfast is a joke, which would be fine for a normal budget hotel, but dont even bother advertising it at this point. Im not even going to explicitly say what the "maids" shirt said - but it starts with M and ends with R and rhymes with *faster-rater* if that gives you a hint.*Dont stay here*Youll just end up moving to a different hotel anyways. Seriously.

I wish I had an option to select 0 star for this place. It is unhygienic. It feels like the bathroom has not been repaired for years. One of our rooms didnt have towels and soaps. We had to ask for it. Breakfast only has bread better jam and corn flakes. The furniture is of the cheapest quality and broken. Floors make squeaky noise. The tube rail tracks are too close to spoil your night sleep. After checkout the hotel management even charged for storing our bags. £2.5 for each bag. I even heard someone complaining at the reception that their toilet was clogged. Take this place only if there is no other option left with you.

Budget hotel. You get what you pay for. Room was tiny but I only used it to sleep. Toilet was shared and looked as if it was in a closet. Shower was the same. Close to the tube! Convenient location. Dont expect much from this no frills location. Perfect for the lone traveller who is only looking for a place to sleep.

So I booked this hotel as it was a fair price especially for london.I booked it for Our Anniversary as we was in London to see Frankie Boyle. When we arrived at the hotel on 14/03/19 we were told that it was full and there was no space for us, even though I had booked it online at the end of January. They then went on to say that they will help us by sending us to their sister hotel which was a couple of minuets away. ( help us?! We’d booked and paid to stay there.)So we arrived at their sister hotel and after a few minuets Of talking to the receptionist he handed us some keys and asked if we wanted to pay an additional £5 for breakfast which we had already paid when making the booking, I then explained that I had paid for breakfast and was told that this is not included at the sister hotel so if I wanted to have breakfast there I would have to pay again or when I wake up in the morning I’d have to go back to the Aquarius hotel for our breakfast. How ridiculous....So we get to our room to find the door was wide open and when we stepped inside there was a man in the bathroom painting the walls?!?! We was on a schedule and as the check is wasn’t until 1.30 we had to rush to shower and get ready to make our way to the centre, the man in the bathroom told us that we could not use the shower as the walls were still wet.I can’t believe the experience!!!I then called up after we let to let them know that we wasn’t happy with the service and explained they maybe need to be a bit more organised as this shouldn’t be happening, especially with the booking made Months in advance. The man then proceeded to tell me he deals with people like me all the time and was very rude talking over the top of me.... more like raising his voice over the top of me.The hotel looked okay but this is possibly the worst customer service I have ever dealt with. I hate to write bad reviews but I think you need to know what you may be dealing with in this case.Would not return to this place. I’d give no stars if possible. It was just disaster after disaster. And as for an extra £5 per person for breakfast I wouldn’t bother... save your money and dine elsewhere, you literally get toast or a little selection of cereal.I’d give no stars if possible.

More hostel than hotel, nothing like the photos. On the plus side it was cheapish for the location, the bed was firm and the staff were friendly. On the downside the bathroom was tiny and had mould and no foot mat, TV reception was poor, it was cheaper to use Vodafone mobile roaming than their WiFi and we had noise and cigarette smoke from the street coming through the closed window every night so the money we saved on the rate we lost in sleep 😅 In hindsight the local backpackers wouldve been a better stay.

AVOID THIS HOTEL AT ALL COSTS. They are greedy and will charge you for everything, wifi etc.. They have no grace period for cancellation and their non refundable rates are not worth it in the end. Look into different cheap hotel options like the Belgrave House Hotel or London City Hotel. Their locations are good, as is the Aquarius, granted, but their management is much better to work with. They won’t rip you off!

Smells like a public toilet, dirty in rooms and out in hall wall, dirty bed really disgusting, the furniture looks like its from a scrap yard. The carpet looks 100 yrs old. Waste of time an money. Plus you can hear the other rooms banging on the walls. Not right for humans see pics.

Its a small hotel, weet stayed in a 3 person bedroom -which meant we had 3 beds, a desk and 2 clossets. The beds where fine, a desk without a chair a little unusefull and te clossets where really old, but closed zo they did what they were supposed to do.Bathroom was super tiny! But it was clean, so no complains.

Really small rooms. Dirty, discusting shower. The price included the breakfast, but they have a small dining room with max 5 table, and the breakfast is available for 1 hour period only. By the way the breakfast is toast and jam, and cereal with milk, thats all. During the booking we choose rooms with twin beds from the pictures, but it figured out these are "double" beds with max 130cm width. I asked a secound blanket and they gave me a totaly discusting sheet. They said it is 1GBP.

The best price in central London. But thats all. Tiny rooms with space like in wardrobe. Not so clean. Disgusting leaking toilet and filthy shower. Our room was in second entrance.. So one wall was door... and only tiny non working window. There also was some noise from the tube. But if youre not living in the basement, its not that bad. But yeah, for one or two days oversleep for this price...

This place is a disgrace. I travelled from Camden to Kensington in a £20 taxi to be greeted by an arrogant and rude member of staff whos first words to me when he couldnt find my booking (despite holding a confirmation email in front of himwere "I dont care". That level of rudeness should not be in any hotel and as soon as that was said I walked out. If thats the welcome, I can only imagine the state of the rooms and cleaning facilities!

This hotel is at the cheaper end of the London hotels so be ready to compromise. You will get: noise from street and neighbours. Unsatisfactory heating in the winter and no AC in the summer. Dirty carpets, remote, bathroom. Bad smell. Very basic breakfast, cereals and toast only. Unfunctional TV. Fire alarm in the middle of the night but no apologies in the morning.

The worst hotel Ive stayed in. The rooms are much smaller than in the pictures from the site. We had a room with a double bed, the sink and wardrobe in a space of 1.90 metter large. The bathroom seemed very dirty like you could get hepatitis just by showering. The walls were dirty and the ceiling from the bathroom were falling down. Our room was near the railway and we heard the trains all night long. The plus of the hotel was, a decent bed and the fact that is was at a metro station near most of the objectives from our list. Please do not stay at this hotel!

PLEASE DO NOT STAY HERE.I stayed here with my boyfriend in one room, and my sister and her boyfriend were in another. Both rooms were absolutely disgusting, I didnt want to touch anything. Please do not be misled by the photos that have been put up by the hotel staff, the rooms do not look anything like this. We were only staying there for one night, but I didnt even want to touch anything, I genuinely feel dirty just thinking about the rooms and writing this review! The reception staff checked us in easily which was fine, but didnt seem to have very good customer service skills, but I figured we were only staying there for a night and let that slide. I wasnt expecting much at all from this hotel, I always stay in cheaper hotels when I travel, especially if its just for a night, but when we got to our rooms, I was pretty disgusted. The room consisted of: a small double bed with white sheets, which did seem pretty clean and honestly was quite comfortable (possibly the only redeeming feature of this hotel); a makeshift wardrobe with no front on it that was leaning to one side, I didnt put anything in it in case it toppled over; and a small desk. All of the wood was very badly scratched and the wardrobe literally just looked like it was thrown together with a couple of planks of wood. I also could only find one plug socket that actually worked and it sparked when I plugged my phone in. The head of the bed had a small window behind it which was open when we went in the room, and we had a struggle trying to close it, when we did we found it wouldnt close all the way, and our hands were filthy. The bathroom was even worse though - limescale and mould galore. I didnt dare get a shower, I felt like Id get even dirtier if I did! The toilet didnt seem to want to flush properly and the floor around the toilet and the sink was all rotten. There were also sharp tiles on the floor around the shower. The sink was filthy and even the tiny little bar of soap couldnt redeem it (which I wouldnt have touched if it hadnt been in a plastic wrapper). Im really not a germophobe at all, I definitely wouldnt complain about a bit of dust or even if a hotel hasnt been thoroughly cleaned, but this didnt even look like it had been touched by a cleaner. If the condition of the room wasnt bad enough, I am convinced that I was stolen from. Since the hotel only provides a pillow each on the bed, which is fine, I just sleep more comfortably on 2 pillows, I put my boyfriends Superdry jacket underneath the pillow to prop my head up a little more. In the morning, I forgot to take the jacket from under the pillow, which is totally my own fault, and we were on the way back home by the time I realised. I called the hotel hoping that they would have found it and would be able to send it to me as it was a jacket I borrowed from my boyfriend and Superdry is quite an expensive brand. The hotel staff told me that the cleaning lady had already been and left for the day but she hadnt reported anything, I was told they would call when she was in the next day. I didnt receive a call so I called them myself, and was told very rudely and abruptly before I could even finish my sentence that they hadnt found the jacket. Neither myself or my boyfriend moved the jacket from underneath the pillow, so either the cleaning lady took it and hasnt reported it, the hotel has it, or the bed sheets werent changed and the people who took the room after us took it.Would definitely not stay in this hotel ever again, the only good thing that came from our stay is that I am now more wary about cheaper hotels and will research them much more thoroughly before I stay at them. We are staying in the area again in July but I will happily fork out more money to stay somewhere that isnt here! Honestly it should be shut down, Gordon Ramseys Hotel Nightmares would have a field trip with this one haha!

PLEASE DONT STAY HERE!!!The rooms are disgusting. Our sink was blocked and took around 45 minutes to drain. We stayed on a friday and saturday night and we told them it was blocked and the receptionist said they knew it was blocked and someone would come up. 2 hours later the receptionist came up without any tools and just wiggled the sink (obviously to no availthen he just said sorry and went away and they never fixed it.Heavy limescale on the taps and no plug for the sink either. The carpet was rotting under the sink too.The shower was covered in mould and limescale. The shower handle came off every use. There was also a sharp metal fixture just left screwed to the wall that we nearly cut ourselves on. The bathroom was VERY small. The windows were covered in mould and years of dried scum so bad you couldnt even see through them. Also the window hinges were broken. This hotel should be shut down by Health and Safety!THE NOISE! oh my god the noise was unbearable, from 5am to 12:30am (and later on saturdaythe KADUNK KADUNK of trains was so loud that even with the window shut you needed the TV near full volume to hear it! The room was hot and smelly and needed the window open to air it out. See photos for the horror of this hotel.I complained again when we left and the manager said next time hed give us 20% off another stay! I told him im never staying here again and left.

Absolutely terrible. By far the worst night Ive ever had in a hotel. Paid for a double room and got put in a tiny cupboard barely large enough to fit the single bed we were expected to share. Small toilet and shower crammed together and smelt very bad. Electrical cables sellotaped to the wall, and electric sockets were so loose that power kept cutting out if wires were slightly touched. The hotel itself creaks so badly and walls were so thin that you could hear everything that other guests were doing. Trains right outside the single glazed windows ran all night and were loud enough to actually drown out speach. Needless to say neither I nor my partner got more than an hours sleep all night. When we did finally nap in the early hours, we were disturbed by a hotel cleaner who walked into our room at 7am without knocking, then walked out again without apology when he saw us.The "continental breakfast" (which you need to pay extra forconsisted of toast.Checked out a day early and stopped at a premier Inn in the centre of London, with views of the river and London eye for less per night than we originally paid for the Aquarius. Absolutely pathetic that they charge the prices they do for such an awful place. We often travel cheep and cheerful, expecting little from a hotel, but this place was beyond a joke.

SCAM!!! This place needs to be avoided! Let me share my thoughts about this absolutely low profile hotel:1. Our room was without window! Basically there were doors that were probably the main entrance in the past (see the pic).2. The bed for two (really??Was so small that only one person could sleep well.3. The room has no chair, table, functional closet.4. The shower is absolutely f...amazing (not). If somebody took a shower there, he deserves a medal!5. Breakfast: giving only toasts with butter and jam is not worth to call breakfast! To sum up: the worst experience in my life!Have fun in london, anyway :)

It’s very hard for me to give a unbiased rating for this „hotel“.First of all, if you plan to visit this hotel with your family for a longer period of time - don’t!This is strictly a cheap way to sleep nearby a very central railway station, which gives you easily access to all attractions in London, walking distance to earls court station is 2minutes. All major food chains and a lot of good quality restaurants and bars are right next to the hotel. The room setup is cheap, it’s not really dirty it’s more like it’s totally worn down and nobody would suggest such a room to a good friend. If you want to visit London for a short period of time on a tight budget, this is the place for you.

People who works in the hotel does not welcome you or provide any good service at all. They provide 1 pillow 1 face towel for an extra towel is £3 each time, for them too keep your luggage on check out its a fee of £8 very disappointed as the room is not like the picture at all.

I have experienced only one worse hotel in my life, which was an Australian 3-star (supposed to be)! This place had 3 floors, very narrow and scratched staircase and no elevator. Only one toilet and shower in each floor and the toilet was not flushing properly and needed pumping at least 10 times. Also the toilet seat was leaking water to the floor from the base.Carpet was old and dirty everywhere, many marks on walls, shower room was old and very small and had a weakish water pressure and an unadjustable shower. Luckily there was a basin in the very tiny hotel room it self to brush the teeth and wash the hands and face at least.Breakfast was pathetic and everything constantly finished and everybody used their own spoon for the sugar pot - there was a sick person coughing and using his own spoon!I complained about all, but nothing happened. With very little effort it could have been an acceptable experience. I got an obvious lie that the plumber was not able to arrive to fix the barely functional and broken toilet because of a sick child. There must be more than one plumber in London! The attitude was to make maximum profit with minimum investment. The only good things were the clean sheets (no holes around the edges like in Australia), clean towel and the surpricingly quiet location (3rd flooralthough max. 50 meters away from Earls Court tube station.

This place is alright to go when the price is cheap but due to our Air b&b cancelling at the last minute we had to pay £300 for one night here. We tried negotiating the price but the manager was unsympathetic and took advantage of the fact we where stranded. The room we had was tiny and right over busy train tracks so it was hard to sleep. Generally run down and a bit grubby. Worth booking in advance and getting a good deal as the area is nice.

this is really a tough one to rate. Finally I decided to rate with good because:The location is perfect (for the price), the staff is very friendly and helpful, breakfast was also fine (many many toast, butter and marmelade), bedcover and pillows clean (did not smell bad). The mattresses were very good to sleep well.Actuall, yes there are some topics that are not perfect. Furniture is old, bathroom looks odd, underground passes by just behind the house but we could sleep easily anyway, we did not find any bugs, the fridge was clean and big, everything old but it worked, Laundery and everything you need just around the corner. It is the price. The price is unbeatable but you can´t expext miracles for that. That´s it. Would I come back ? maybe.

We arrived at the Hotel on the afternoon of New Years Eve, we had booked overnight accommodation for the price of £169 for two people. On entering our room we noticed what looked like coca cola (we hopedand orange juice stains all down the walls. The toilet bowl had remnants of red wine vomit all around the rim of the toilet and on the top near the toilet seat. As if this wasnt enough the pillow case had DRIED OLD BLOOD STAINS on it. We immediately went to Reception to check out and demand our money back but were fobbed off with the lame excuse that the Manager had to be contacted and he was not available. We were given a contact number for him to ring the next day but again he was unavailable. He was supposed to call us the following morning, but again nothing. Finally we tracked him down on January 2nd in the afternoon, he was unapologetic, very rude and refused a refund saying it was non refundable. I would strongly advise you not to book a room in this filthy establishment, it should not be allowed to trade as it is a health hazard and the staff are rude and unhelpful. We have had to give it a one star because it would not allow me to post otherwise but it does not deserve any stars!!!

This hotel is so terrible, there is mold in the bathroom, it smells terrible. A "2-person bed" is only 140cm wide. The staff are unfriendly and some barely speak any English. The breakfast is laughable, the only choice you have is toast and Cornflakes, and that is on the condition that there is any room left at the few tables they have.It is located directly next to the District line, so from 5am until midnight, you will have trouble having a normal conservation because of the noise.

The staff was nice and friendly. The room was small but clean. Location is very close to the Earls court sub-way station and to many restaurants. Reasonable service and facilities for the price paid.

Four of us stayed in a 4 person room here for the NFL weekend at the start of October. For £54 each for 2 nights we couldnt really complain.I just wouldnt bring my wife here. But for lads its great.Pros- location (awesome for transport links)- fast food outlets- small supermarkets- only £20 in a taxi from Soho area- hot shower with good water pressure- comfy bed- staff friendlyCons- cockroach in the bathroom- lots of mould in shower- dirty round the edgesIt just needs a bit of TLC and this could be a great hotel. Like I say I would never take my wife but for a bunch of lads its fine. You get what you pay for.

This is a terrible hotel!!! I have never been in such a terrible hotel! I booked two nights, but I never lived in there, it is so terrible that I cannot live there. I had to leave to look for a better hotel. The staff said that it was not refundable! Every thing in the room is broken, dirty! The bath room was broken. The light was broken. The floor was very very dirty. Even the back of the room is railway. Every few minutes, a train is running. It was very noisy, I couldnt sleep. So at the mid night I decided to leave the this terrible place to find a better one. Do not go to this hotel.

Giving this place 1 star is a disgrace to other 1 star hotels and here is why.My girlfriend and i booked a room there and yes we know its a really cheap hotel but this place is something special and definitely not in a good way.Let me paint you a picture. The area is actually great, its really near a metro and close to the city. When you go into the hotel you find yourself in a very shallow, tiny dark hall that smells like it hasnt seen a vacuum or experienced any cleaning since Winston Churchill. When you get the keys from the clerk you venture up tiny old stairs that feel like they would break every step. The rooms are the highlight of the hotel, they are the Taj Mahal, the crown jewl best of the best. When you open the door you will find yourself looking at a tiny, dirty room. Not tiny and dirty like the hall or the stairs, this is a new level of tiny and dirty. The room is so small that it will make a Alcatraz prison cell look like a mansion, and a clean one that is. There is a small window, to dirty to actually look out, but still its there, not to let in the light but the wonderful music of the metro passing by every 2-3 minutes. If you somehow manage to crawl over the bed and get to the bathroom you will find it quite artistic, its carefully but thoroughly covered in mold.Oh yes, I totally forgot to mention that there are also a few mouse traps in your room, as long a u dont mind a bit mouse poison i believe they will be a important friend for your entire stay. This review may sound like a joke, a horror story, a fiction but its not. Its real and its out there. We were there 04-2015 and only stayed for a hour or 2. That place is so disgusting that it should be closed by a bulldozer.

I walked in and saw that the place was filthy. They charge for breakfast but dont serve breakfast before 8 am. I had difficulty finding the room because the directions were not clear. Rather than directing me the desk clerk expected me to guess that if I go through the room marked "Dining room" I will find the room. The desk clerk lurked around the corner, following me, and I discovered this when I actually turned back to go and ask for proper directions. The room was dark and smelly, and the entire room vibrated when the tube passed a few meters away - which meant no sleep during the hours when the tubes run. I did not even put my bag down and left immediately. This place is a disgrace.

Came here btwn 2009-2011 about 4 times. Super cheap so you pay for what you get. Rooms were spare and old, but felt clean. Train was annoying a few times, but they were accommodating with switching rooms. Did all my bookings online (im in the USand never had any issues. My go to budget hotel in London
