Waterpark with a wave pool, slides & a kids' play area, plus lounge chairs, snack bars & lockers.
Aquamijas in Marbella
Description
Privilege
Good for older kids. Need to be over 4ft for any rides so our youngest couldnt ride anything. Take a pack up !!!
MoreSmall but nice place To spend a Day with the Kids. No queues at all mid september. Horrrible food at the cafeteria though, but its allowed To bring your own.
MoreA lot of fun for the kids (and us adults). Large enough to have things to do all day, but still not overwhelming for families with kids between 5-8 years old.A lot of guards around the pools, clean areas. Minus for having to pay for lockers, sun beds once inside. The food was very disappointing.
MoreNot good or bad, just average. Even though it was not crowded, waiting in line for the slides was just not worth it cause of the huge queue. It is also very pricey. The plus side is how clean the pools are.
MoreThere are some great slides and other attractions like a wave machine.Cons:-Entrance price is too high considering the wait times-You can pay extra to hire rings which cuts down wait times (€7.50 plus 10 deposit)-Someone stole one of our hired rings while we were away from the sunbeds for 5 mins. The staff took about 2 hours to find it. Luckily they found the thief before i did.-The food and drink is overpriced and poor quality. You can bring your own though.Overall a good water park slightly spoiled by a greedy business model
MoreWe had a great, fun time at Aquamijas. We were there at 09:50 (park opens 10:30and quickly mangaed to get on about 4 different slides before it got busier. You cannot take umbrellas into the park, but there are plenty of fixed parasols on the grassy field, allowing you to find shade.Slides are great, with a mixture of body slides and ring floatie slides. The queues were not overly long (between 2 and 10 minutes to either get a ring or enter a slide). We didnt purchase ring rental which gets you your own ring so you dont have to wait to pick one up, but we never found this to be an issue. There were plenty of normal rings coming from the slides.Facilities are good. Plenty of toilets, which were kept clean enough and areas to purchase drinks / food / ice creams. You can bring your own food / drinks in order to save on costs. Locker rental (this will only fit a couple of mobiles / walletis 9.5 Euros for the day which includes a 5 Euro deposit, so effectively 4.5 Euros. Well worth it to keep your valuables safe. The park isnt very big, but easily entertains the whole day. Plenty of good slides. There were also some aqua aerobics sessions when we were there. The kids absolutely loved it and were easily entertained all day.Like everybody else says, get there about 10AM latest. That will allow you to get car parking near the park. Car parking is free. The park closed at 19:00 and the attractions close 15 minutes prior to the park closing.Plenty of shower / changing facilities (cold showers), albeit that there could have been more benches to sit on.
MoreGreat fun for all the family. Good selection of rides and play areas for all ages. Food was a bit expensive but not too bad. You need to get there early, before, 30 mins before opening or book online as the queue in the morning is crazy and car parking can be impossible by 11am
MoreGreat waterpark to go to..lots of different types of slides to go on..ques werent too long and moved quick enough. Everything was reasonably priced aswell. Plenty of places to sit and relax.they have lockers there also to store valuables. Machine there also giving out waterproof protection for your phone. Great day out would definitely recommend this place.
MoreGranted place to have fun. Busy as expected. Be ready to queue and waste your time, unfortunately. It gets busier after 2pm die to discount prices. If you get there early in the morning youll be able to enjoy the whole place at least twice or more. Downside: restaurant that offers burgers and stuff close at 4 pm, had to go to McDonalds (4min walking from it).
MoreYou’re unlikely to get sun beds, or even an umbrella. Take lots of towels, as you will probably have to accept shade on the grass under a radon tree. We went on a Wednesday thinking it would be quiet. It was bedlam, everywhere.
MoreLike others say it is worth arriving before the park opens to avoid long queues, both to get in and on the rides. It is clean and staff are helpful.
MorePaid €27.90 Per person for 4 adults , after eventually getting in had to pay €4.80 per sun bed , after going on 2 rides could not get an inflatable ring at all , seems people keep them to continually ride or you can hire one for €7.80 per ring ! Absolutely money making place , paying €28 to get in should give you a plastic sun bed and the use of free rings , it’s not even clean ! Never again .
MoreA good place to go but it was crazy busy and the wait times for the rides can take over an hour as the day progresses. They charge for everything, sunbeds, floats, pictures etc so you will spend a fortune. Kids loved it though.
MoreIf I was to go again i will 1. Pre book online the day before (we did this and we get in so much quicker2. get there early 3. take food with us 4. Rent a float, as it makes it a lot quicker to get in rides that need them. Its pretty frustrating other wise. Renting floats €6-10, renting a sun bed €4.50. Food was expensive and poor quality. But we had fun.
MoreVery good for young kids.. and the few faster slides they got are good fun for adults too... I went on a Tuesday.. not many queus at all and food overall not expensive for what it is ... Staff around the place are helpful also.I am expanding on this review.. I visited just a day ago and sure the place is the same however I will say that going in August when its peak time in season makes the place so so busy that if your not into crowds then I would suggest visiting out of this month.. nonetheless still a great small sized water park
MoreBeen loads of times when its been a bit quieter. This time was no fun. Reasonable entry cost of €74 for 4 (3 adults and 1 child). However, its then €4.50 for a security box (+€5 deposit), €10 for a double float (+€10 deposit), €7.80 (+€10 depositfor a single float, €2.50 (+ €5 depositfor a basket to put non secure items. There are free floats you can use, which have to be handed over to the next people waiting once youve had your go. Seems reasonable, but then you notice theres hardly any of these around - theyre yellow and stick out - so not difficult to see. I didnt mind paying for all this - including floats. The problem was that they had run out! So we couldnt even get them and had to wait for them to be returned.......most rides had a waiting time of about 30mins....take your chance if you fancy it..
MoreNot bad for the price, have to pay extra for a locker €9.5 but you get 5 back. Food and drink is typically overpriced but you can take your own in so if youre planning a full day then go prepared, I didnt see how much inflatables were to hire but we queued when we needed them but not for too long. When it got to 12 oclock the queues for the main slides were ridiculous, an hour or more for one attraction. Too much in this heat. Pools were nice, staff were friendly enough.
MoreSpent first two hours just queuing up for rides we never got to go on. Rides request rings and there is a “specific” time rings can be got however this is NOT advertised or explained anywhere online or at the rental. Staff extremely rude and not accommodating when asked where this policy was. Along with several other families we requested refund. Can you please update this policy on website for other families attending
MoreGet parking early they fill up fast.Asked where to get inflatable for slides told end of rides at info desk. Actually at a hut in corner. Not many slides without inflatableNeed to hire chairs / loungers.Hit -wave pool (but no info as to when waves appear)Hit -water slides
MoreGreat park but way too busy. No cap on numbers so queues out of control.
In comparison with other aquaparcs Aquamijas is way too expensive for what you are getting. It is small, slides are not that spectacular. And I find it very disturbing that besides the €25/€28,- entrance per person, you still have to pay €4,80 per sunbed and €10,- for a floater, since not all the slides are available without a floater…
MoreOK place as watermarks go its on the small side, dont like you have to rent beds when you pay in, and rent flats to use slides bit of in house food is quite pricey, but your allowed bring your own food and drink. I would recommend to bring g your own food. 5/10
MoreNot worth the price and Can not recommendThe park itself is ok and fun for the family but they really try to squeeze all your money out of the pocket. The floats necessary for the rides are artificially limited to force customers to rent them and pay an extra fee to wait less at queues that wouldn’t exist otherwise. Then there are sun chairs everywhere but you have to rent them as well. Given the high price already paid at the entrance this is just a rip off.Same for the food in the park, worst quality and not worth the price. Bring your own.
MoreGreat fun, would recommend buying tickets online as you’ll save money and the queue is much shorter. Aim to get there for opening or the discounted time in the afternoon as it gets very busy with long queues. Would be worth renting a ring for the day. Don’t bother renting a lounger as there’s plenty of free shaded spots on the grass. Take your own food and drink as it’s expensive there and the queues are not worth it.
MoreNice place, Take a packed lunch with you if your going to be there all day. And it closes bang on time.Plus.....If you hire the inflatables dont leave them lying around theyll get lifted, youll get your deposit back with your receipt though.
MorePerfect for a kids day out. Good slides and amenities. Went on Monday, 1st of August, wasnt that busy, waiting time for slides beetween 15 and 30 mins. Have to pay for floaties, they have free once, but there will be a wait. Also have to pay for sunbeds, just under €10. Food ok, but a bit expensive, had burger, chips and a drink €13.90. Overall kids enjoyed it.
MoreWhat was starting as good day with my family was completely spoilt by girl working at the lockers, they forgot to give me one more token for my basket and when I came back to collect my stuff one of them was very rude and was keep saying no no I don’t have token so no bag for me. I was trying to explain that she not gave it to me and can she help me to solve the problem she was keep shouting at me and sending me away. Only when we said call the manager the other lady stated looking for my bag by description. While the original lady still was acting extremely rude! After they found the bag they realized it was their mistake but nobody even said sorry!!!
MoreHello, not worth it. My biggest concern was long lines. We had to wait 30-45 min., for short disappointing ride down. Because they let to many people inside and every ride was overcrowded. Also they charge you for everything when you get inside. Wana take a shower pay, wana relax under umbrella pay. Good luck
MoreIf you want parking get there early, we got there at ~11 and all spaces were gone. There is paid parking close by as an alternative, but will cost around 12 euros. As for the water park itself it is small but great for the under 6s, lots of things to keep them entertained. If youre wanting to go down any of the larger water slides though, expect to wait for around 30minutes per ride
MoreWell, the idea to rent floats for the day is interesting but kind of over the top with the price (online-ticket and a Float are roundabout 24+15 EUR per day). There are 8 slides and an awesome kids <6yr area, a wave-pool and a normal pool with Zumba action twice or three times a day. Affordable food and drinks, Overall not bad, not the best slide-park though.
MoreAquapark itself is designed nicely, but services and stuff are awful. After paying for the entrance be ready to pay also additionally for beds, floats, safe + give deposits for those. Too many people. We came 30 min after opening and hardly managed to find 2 beds at the very end of the park. With child it was quite a long walk to the pool.We took double float and couldnt use it. For family with 4yo child its a bad idea. You cannot take child on your lap on the float. But she couldnt sit there by herself because hole in it is too big. We couldnt use it for 2 parents either since we couldnt leave a child along. Neither 1 parent coukd use it - it was forbidden to use double float for 1 person only. Really waste of money. Plus we carried it all around Aquapark and stood in the lines in order to find slide/entertainment where we could use it - waste of time.So basically for the family of 3 we could only stay in children pool and adult pool. Nothing else. The only good thing there was the possibility to put water protection on the phone (for extra money of courseand take photos in the pool.Lots of money and time wasted.
MorePretty good water park. Good area for toddlers and rides pretty good and water pretty clean. Cleaners in attendance in bathrooms etc. However beware that everything else you might need is chargeable beyond the ticket price: Safety deposit box-€4, Changing room access- €3, Basket to store clothing items in a cloak room €2.50, sunbed, €2.50...
MoreWe all loved aquamijas. The waterpark is very clesn and great fun for all ages. Big slides and attractions for the grown ups but our 4year old grandaughter loved the kids sectio with smaller slides and pools. We recommend buying tickets in advance as you do get a small discount but tickets can be purchased on site. Theres is plenty of parking and easy to get to. A great day out 👍
MoreTad expensive to get in and I would.imagine it gets very busy. However the slides are good and there are plenty of seating areas. You can hire a safety box for your valuables.
MoreFor the price (28€ entry + locker with basket ~8€is not worth it. Locker is really small (my hand for size comparisonso you have to leave the rest of the stuff in the basket (extra cost). No hot water in the showers (some showers are kind of broken.., no hooks in the changing/shower rooms).Benches and floors are dirty in the changing rooms. Waiting time for each slide is like 30 minutes if not more (so annoying that they dont put indicators of how long it will take to wait by drawing lines on the flooring as seen in other waterparks. Not enought facilities to support how many people they let in at the time. Some water attractions are for additional cost. For adults (no childrencannot recommend when you have this waterpark in front of motorway in the middle of little town.
MoreThere are only few slides and is an extremely small aquapark. You have to pay for renting a chair ...and what was amazing ...you have to pay around 9 euro for renting one floating ring for every 4 hours plus 10 euro kept as guarantee ...from 10:30 to 14:30 and another 9 euro each floating ring from 17:00 until 21:00...cleaning services are missing completely and bathrooms are awefool. Never go back and I will never recommend anyone to go there!ZERO stars!
MoreBrilliant day out, excellent value for money if you book online
There is very little to do for 6 year old who can already swim as only few slides allow kids under 7. Even with parents. Always huge queues and extra fees but it is kind of expected in the old fashioned tourism.
MoreKids liked it. 🤣🤣🤣 so I feel like them
I love the water and water parks but I was not sure that Aquamijas would be for me. I was wrong! We had a lovely afternoon in the park and the slides and pools were great fun. The park is best suited to familys but they had plenty of exciting things for adults to do without kids. We took a picnic but there was plenty of places to buy a range of drinks and nibbles. I good day out I thought.
MoreNice handy park within walking distance from Fuengirola. Not huge but plenty of slides to keep everyone happy. Not too expensive compared to others weve been to. Can be a problem getting rings for the slides but you can hire your own for your stay to use on any of the slides.
MorePerfect for children of all ages, my daughters aged 9 and 13 loved it. There are slides and areas for all different age groups from toddlers up to adults. Even managed to get nuggets and chips for a snack at lunch time for 5 Euros each. If you arrive at 10:30 there is a bit of a queue to get in so its best to arrive at 11:00 am onwards. We layed under a sunshade on our own towels as there is a charge for sun beds. You can take your own food and drink in too. Overall a great day out.
MoreSeriously over priced! The park is quite small with not to many slides. We spent about 3 hours here with 2 kids and they did enjoy it. Tickets are quite expensive for entry then you get charged for rubber rings sun loungers and lockers too. It seemed to us that Spanish people get preferential treatment over other non Spanish people which was quite disappointing. I would not recommend going here as its just not worth it
MoreA place with an indication for children. For adults, maybe one or two interesting slides. Easy access by public transport, close to stops and shops or Kings burger. It is a pity that you have to pay extra for lockers, sunbeds, inflatable wheels for sliding .. In general, you pay for entry, and to be able to use everything, you have to pay extra.
MoreGreat place to spend a day with the family. Dont bother to rent floaties, you can have them for free on the slides. Water is warm enough but dont expect a hot bath:). All together nice and funny.
MoreQuite a small water park but has enough fun slides to keep the kids (and adultshappy. On a busy day it would be worth hiring a tube - this acts like a fast pass as you can avoid the queues waiting to collect a tube to use on the slides. You need to pay for a sun lounger but if you get there early enough there is plenty of room on the grass where umbrellas provide shade. Lockers can be hired with card payments accepted. The water is not heated so can feel quite chilly.
Morestaff is very friendly and aquapark funny... BUT water is not heated...so that there is nearly no customer. if you would install solar panels and heat the pools, the aquapark would be full!... as you can see on the picture there were only seagulls in the pool :-but still OK to-do the waterslides and then to get out quickly from the water.
MoreGreat family day out! It is expensive but we were there from 10:30-5:30. Get there early (9.45to ensure you get a parking space and if you book online make sure you get in the right queue otherwise they will move you! Lockers are €4 plus €5 deposit (cash). We do recommend hiring rings for the morning as the queues are long otherwise (€7.50 per ring for half a day). Sun loungers are €4.50 per lounger (cashbut there is plenty of grass area to use for free with rattan parasols. Picnic is a must plus lots of bottles of water and snacks. The kids had a great day and were thoroughly worn out 😅
MoreAbsolutely love this place, the only thing is that it costs alot more money when you enter the water park ie inflatable ring hire (you dont have to hire but if you dont you could be queuing a while to get on the slides that uses the ringsfor a single ring it was 9 euros to hire and 10 euro deposit. You also have to pay about 8 euro for the safes. If I was to go again Id make sure I dont take anything that I need to put in a safe I would also take a packed lunch and drinks with me. But overall it was an amazing day.
MoreGreat park, lots of slides to go on for various ages. We were occupied for the whole 7 hours we were at the park until it closed. Hiring the rings acts as a kind of fast track as you dont have to queue for one from the slide. However, even without hiring - the wait for the rings are still quite short.
