Carr. Palmitos Park, Km 3, 35100 Maspalomas, Las Palmas, Spain, Agüimes
Watery fun for families with a multitude of slides, a kids' area, sea lions & dining options.
2 of us looking forward to going here but was very disappointed. Was a rip off and no atmosphere!33 euros each to get in.4 euros to park .7 euros for a locker.12 euros for a sunbed.5 euros for a waterproof phone protector. We went in 5 rides between us, one was the lazy river so doesn’t really count and one of which my partner got stuck on twice and had to stand up to re adjust to get the rest of the way down.4 rides were closed and we weren’t allowed on one as there was just just two of us and needed 4 people, but didn’t know this till we got to the top and had to walk all the way down again. The rest of the park is for kids only so a large part of the park was irrelevant to us. When we decided to leave as it was pointless being there, the receptionist pointed at a sign of two rides that were closed after we went to complain. But they did not mentioned this before paid and because we had been there over an hour (enough to get our bearings have a milkshake before trying to go very few rides and spending a moment to feel sorry for the sea lionthey couldn’t refund us, not even a partial refund. We said we would not have gone if we knew we couldn’t go on everything. They recommend 3 hours there, we were planning on spending all day there and have food and drinks and sunbathe and enjoy the rides, we left after 1.5 hours. Not worth it, don’t go!
Attractions are fine and during a week there are no queues but its expensive place. Tickets for kids 11 years old and above cost as Adult 33€, separate payments are for parking 4€ and locker room 5€. Food is usual but prices are higher then restaurant in Maspalomas.
There is honestly nothing bad to say about here. My son is disabled and the staff could not have been any more helpful if they tried. The place was well laid out and had plenty for everyone. I advise water shoes as the floor got hot in the sun. It needs updating but the whole country is still recovering from Covid so I am sure it will change in time.
Not a bad aquapark however quite a rip off. You pay extra for everything, carpark, locker, sunbed. The restaurant is expensive for what they offering, bad food for double rates. Would not visit again.
The attractions are outdated and dirty, but that wouldnt matter. The problem is that the water park staff purposefully creates long queues on the slides. For example, only singles or couples are allowed on an attraction with 8 slides side by side and the others have to wait. Even on a weekday morning, when there are few visitors, the queues for the slides are tens of minutes long.
Large aqualand with several sliding tubes. Areal is relatively big and different variety of water slides makes almost everyone satisfied (kids, adults, teenagersand also difficulty varies.Entrance fee is 33€ which is fair, but park could invest some money 💰 to modernization and maintenance.Walking paths were not in the best shape and sometimes I didnt have a feeling of 100% hygiene at some attractions (on the way).I visited park on 04.11.2022 and there were almost no people, which was great, because I never queud longer than 5-7 minutes. Most of the personal people were friendly and supportive.Parking fee: 4€Sunbed: 4€
The good: This is one of the best water parks weve ever been to. The kids absolutely loved it. Went on a Tuesday, there were no queues. Highly recommend this. Not sure why theyre are so many negative reviews. Some things to be aware of: It was €130 for a family of 4 over 10 years old. They charge adult prices over 10 but it was still worth it. We brought our own picnic but beer and food is what you expect in any park like this in terms of quality and price. Bring pool or swimming booties. The surface is hot and rough at times.
Great day for our daughter, there are lots of rides. You can get a massage on site whilst the children play and at a very good price. It was great to swim with the sea lions and pictures included for a good price. Note you have to pay 4 euro extra to park, 4 euros per sunbed for the day.We would advise to get the 2 park tickets to save money. Pictures were reasonably price. Park does need some TLC but otherwise a great day.
I visited aqualand with my son last week while on holiday. We had a really fun time so came back the next day. The slides are all very fun and most of them you sit in those rubber boats which I think most people prefer, the staff were all nice and polite to us. There are ladies doing massages in the park which I thought was great if you have older children and you want a little time out while they go n have fun, they cost €20. What I will say to anyone who hasn’t visited is definitely buy some sea shoes before you go as the floor is like gravel and gets very prickly when hot. Leave your sunglasses in your locker as they will definitely not let you on slides with them on. The machine that waterproofs your phone just stay away from it, it’s designed for one time use only and is about £10 definitely not worth it. There are photographers taking pics while you’re on the slides which get displayed on the wall on your way out if you want to buy one. You have to pay extra for a sunbed but there are tables dotted around to sit at. I would recommend eating a big breakfast before visiting as the food is very expensive. Lockers are €5 non refundable. There is a bus stop and taxi rank outside, both are cheap enough. Overall we had 2 great days here and didn’t really queue to get on anything :)
Very nice place to visit with kids. I really enjoyed it. Something different I have seen.
Good selection of water slides with different levels. Something for all ages, including nice water park for the youngest kids.Very few and quite expensive options for food. Would definetely consider to bring sandwiches next time.
Great watermark, food expensive, only one set of toilets right at the park entrance really strangeBut a good day out.€33 entrance fee
Every single service they offer (besides the pools and slidescost extra. Parking is 4 euros, and the sunbathing chairs are 4 euros each. Not to mention, the park is not really well maintained in my opinion - the stairs that walk up to the slides are always wet and quite rusty (keep slippers on). Maybe its a cool experience for children - but as two adults we found this rather dull - especially considering how expensive the ticket was!
I just visited Aqualand, it was not too busy, so the waiting time was reasonable. Slides were very good. I have to say that there was one that really surprised me, which was great. I can see a lot of comments about long waiting time and place being run down. I came here at 10am and was one of the first people in. I have done all the rides within the first 2h with a max wait of 10 minutes. The place looks decent. I wouldnt call it run down. Remember, it costs 33 Euro 😁 it is good for what you pay.I recommend bringing swimming shoes 👍
Great family trip out, perfect for all ages. The only downside is once you have paid to get in you also have to pay to use a sunbeds and lockers. Its not somewhere we would go again as we have been there done that but it is one you should visit.
The rides are amazing, but they really are trying to get money out of everything. The lockers are 5 euros each which you wont get back. Also wear water shoes. There are no changing rooms, so you have to get dressed in a cramped dirty toilet. I had the chance to swim with sea lion Lola which was a dream come true. Shes a sweetheart!
Incredible water park. 100% recommend to anyone especially with kids. Queues werent too bad for some of the slides. Bring footwear as the floor is red hot after a while.Didnt get many photos as was having a great time. Will definitely be going back again!
3 star given for the simple fact that fast tracked band holders decide to run up and use the slide 4 or 5 times in the space of 10 minutes holding long standing cues still for absolute agers a fast pass is a must for this park next time it will be first on this list. food price is absolutely daylight robbery. Other then this its a good day out with plenty to do kids water area is fantastic and will keep the little ones entertained for hours.
Great fun - but smelly water and horrendous prices. The slides are really great and the greenery is particularly pretty. However, the water is really smelly at times so that all clothes and slippers stink afterwards. Also, some slides do not feel very well managed. Even though nobody is on the slide or in the pool at the end anymore, you still have to wait a while for your turn. Does not seem to be a security thing either. The worst thing though is that the park has managed to implement a 2-class-system for its visitors. With the fast pass (25€/person additional to the 33€ entry feeyou are allowed to skip the waiting lane. This results in regular visitors having to wait for up to an hour for 30sec of fun while visitors with the fast pass can cut in line. Also, we were glad not having to eat there because the prices are through the roof.
Heavily overpriced for what it is. Felt a bit like a scam. You pay €33 for entrance and then if you want to be able to sit down on a bed its another €4 (there arent really any other options due to those being the only places in the shade). Then for a locker its another €5.Food didnt make it much better, went for a hamburger menu for €15,90, said to include burger, fries, salad, and a drink.Picture of the hamburger shows a good looking hamburger with greens included. Turns out those greens (bit of chopped lettuce and one slice of tomatoare taken out and set aside as the salad. You end up with them, a soft bun with a burger and a slice of cheese, a handful of fries, and a soda (apparently we couldnt get water, we had to take the soda). Size-wise and quality-wise it wasnt worth it.The whole experience felt like they know youre trapped in there and want to make the most of it anyways due to the entry price, so they may as well try to squeeze the most they can get out of you.Im not a waterpark expert, barely visit them, but I can say that this place also felt a bit dated. Slides were fun, but had long queues. Staff was friendly, but thats about it.(The money they get out of you likely doesnt go to the friendly staff as rumours have it they get underpaid for their work)
Having read some of the reviews we were a little worried. However it was clean and looked after. Park is quite well planned out.Only downside was the wait time for the rises. You expect it to be long given time if year but this was not helped by the fast track tickets. Some times the life guards shared it fairly other times you were waiting for ages as the same people went on three times.
Warning to parents: the parking is 4€, the sunbeds 4€ each, and the small lockers 5€(we left out bags under a sunbed and fortunately nothing missing). Food and drinks expensive too, so bring your own picnic and a bag of ice to keep it cool. The kids will love the rides, but I think most adults will feel ripped off as the place is certainly looking tired.
Fun place for the kids and family. Would recommend a visit but its not for people on a budget. Entrance for two adults and two children. You are looking around €100 plus you have to pay for lockers and sunbeds. Food and drink is incredibly expensive, so bring your own food and drink. Rides are good and there is a good variety. They do offer wristbands but they are an extra 15 euros per person which makes an expensive trip even worse.Kids section and rides for under 1.2 m have little or no lines. Good for small kids.Taxi service on the island is very good and reliable and will drop you off and pick you up right outside the door.Would give higher rating but due to the extra costs It really lets the place down how much they try and get money out of you once youre through the door.
Yes, the rides are fun. But you get milked for money at every situation imaginable. The worst is that you even have to pay for the sunbeds when there is absolutely no space to lay down without one. Be prepared for at least 40€/person on top of the ticket price - 15€ just for the speed pass to let you access rides "faster". In theory you just have shorter lines with fast pass access, in reality the regular line will not move until the fast pass lane is empty - which wont happen, ever. So if you are not willing to spend 1 hour upwards per ride in a queue in the bright sun, since shade is barely available, you have to buy the fast pass.
Great fun for young children. My 2 older sons needed to buy a fast pass though as the waiting queue at every big slide is ridiculous. We saw a girl pass out because of the long queue standing in the burning hot sun...The park is a little outdated and could use a glow up.The pizzas are ok but food and drinks at aqualand are very expensive. They charge 3,50 euros for a bottle of water. 🙈Make sure you use enough sunscreen or cover up with uv clothing for there are no shade areas. My youngest son had a blast at the kids area 👏
Good slides but in the 6 hours we were there we only managed to ride 5. Really long queues, fast track is available for 15 EUR each per day but doesnt seem limited numbers. Food and drink very expensive (pizza €16, pint €9). Booked through TUI but didnt include transfers so additional €135 EUR for us to get there and back. Will probably not return. Concrete floors are very very hot and rough, I would strongly recommend taking some cheap wetsuit shoes from sportsdirect to avoid any harm.
The park is located just North West of Maspalomas and is easily accessible by a taxi ride of around 6 Euros per way, taking around 10 minutes from Meloneras. Local Bus services are also available at certain times in the morning and evening. The park can be an expensive day out and if you have been to some of the other water parks of the world, it may be a disappointment, particularly for the price and the attractions you get.It cost around 30 Euros per person having booked online. There are several extras that you can purchase throughout the park, 15€ for fast pass per person, 5€ per locker plus a 2€ deposit, sun bed rental plus food, which mounted up to over 200€ for 4 people. The park is in some cases a bit dated and worn with the toilets being quite old, and rust visible on some of the metal railings. The lifeguards seem understaffed and overworked, I remember seeing lifeguards having to walk between rides while leaving the other unwatched. On one ride there was one lifeguard supervising 4 body slides and 4 inflatable ring slides. Now I will give the park some credit, they do offer a 12€ return fee which will at a minimum half the cost of a return visit. The fast pass was a good investment in that we could do a ride three times quicker, easily. In conclusion, the price isnt very reflective of the sites condition, staff levels and range of rides. If they had more staff and a more up to date, maintained site, it would easily be a 4 stars.
Its very expensive. We arrived shortly after it opened. We was not advised to get fast track passes. My children got on 1 slide. The park let on fast pass people over non fast pass. I queued with my son, a fast past family got on the slide 3 times while we had only moved 4 steps. I would not go back again unless we were fast pass. If you go book online and get fast pass tickets.
We purchased tickets on the door, you can get a discount if you buy online. It worked out £114 for a family of 4. Kids 11 or over or over 1.10m are full price. Didnt queue for long. Sunbeds are 4 euros each, we got 2. Lockers are 5 euro each and you have to buy a token to put into the locker to be able to use them. We all had a fun filled day, queue time not too bad on the rides. We took our own food as it was quite expensive to eat in. Wave machine every hour, on the hour for around 10 minutes, its not the best wave machine we have experienced, but fun all the same. Take flip flops etc with you to walk everywhere, you can leave them at the bottom of the flumes. All in all a great day out, came home tired but happy.
As far as water parks go then this one is a little tired and needs a bit of an update. That said we had a great time with 2 younger children - they loved the slides.Place is expensive when in so worth taking food and refreshments with you.Wave machine was the biggest let down, all the excitement and we didn’t even get a ripple 🙈We would definitely go back and lots of fun was bad.
Brazen Rip-off! After paying over 200€ for a 5 member family excursion through „TUI“ to Aqualand we were forced to pay at Aqualand extra money for „a coin“ to be allowed to use the lockers for our valuables, pay extra for usage of sun lounger, waiting for all slides almost 30 minutes in the heat/sun with small kids (32 degrees!! )because we didn’t pay extra 15€ per person for the fast lane! Most of the staff (not allsupervising the slides were stressed, arrogant and even showed annoyed behaviour! They also charge people 9€ for one beer! It was a wonder that we were allowed to use the toilets free of charge! This was definitely one of the most expensive and most disappointing experiences in Gran Canaria!!!!! Thanks to this very poor management of this aquapark I can only recommend to better invest your money elsewhere and spend the day somewhere else than here! For example into a noble dinner in a nice restaurant for all 5 family members! 😉 And this is two times well and better invested money 😉😉 However as zero stars are not possible I can only give the lowest rating here!!!!!
Great family fun. Advise a pack lunch. Rides were amazing. Umbrellas and beds cost 4 euro for the day, well worth it. Check out the prices to go independently via bus or cab we paid a lot more for an excursion. In July it opened at 10am and closed 6pm the day flew by.They had marquees with a great massage for 20 euro and the tanks with fish that sort your feet out for 10 euro. Would recommend.
Loved the wave pool and lazy river, however if you’re scared of big rides that’s the only options. In their defence, that’s on me and not on them, just a warning for others who aren’t adrenaline seekers.Lockers are cheap and reliable and there’s an option to waterproof your phones. Bring €2 for a sun bed to keep your towels on.Only rating lowly as the water was full of bugs and could have used a good clean before everyone got in.
Fun day out for all ages, can take own food or purchase at the park. Sunbeds 4 euros each, Park closes at 18.00, good price deals when booked online, can return another day for 12 euros if you pay before you leave. Different prices for different age children, a reasonable price day out
Great day out but food prices are very high. Make sure you bring a packed lunch!
Good fun, and my grandson who is 11 really enjoyed the experience. There are a range of activities to suit those with a low level risk of adrenal dump, to a couple that are a good test of “will I try that again.”
Fine place to go, but after an hour or two you did all the fun activities. Could maybe use a bit more food stores and just some other features to honk it up a bit.You need to pay extra for sunbeds, lockers and a “fast in front of queue” ticket if you want to skip the pretty long queues there can beA bit sad you cant dive in the pool with waves or have fun without lifeguards stopping you doing basic fun stuff in the waterFine place to go. i would recommend this place to families with small children
Great water park, kids loved it, a wide variety of slides and plenty of areas to sit and relax...sunbeds are paid separately and thats a bit pricey if you are in a large group!
Absolutely a fun packed day out a lot of stairs up to rides buy worth it ..something for every age brilliant
Visited in a quiet time so no queues for rides. Some rides require mats or floats but not clear that you need to pick those up at the end of the ride first, so not the best design. Locker and sun beds are rip offs. My complain is about food. It is pricey, lack of choices, and poorly cooked. For example my pizza is still cold in the middle, and you can see the cheese hardly melted.
Great slides BUT this place fleeces you at every point beyond the already expensive entrance fee. Lockers! Sunbeds! Food and drink! All pricey and not worth the money… but you have to do it whilst on holiday with kids don’t you?! I’d have happily stayed on my own at the hotel for a nice quiet day without them 😆Didn’t pay for the sea lions but saw them anyway, this was my highlight!
Kids loved the park, great fun only thing I can fault is the kiosk service short queue but very long wait, overall great day out just rake own snacks and drinks
Visited in April 22, the park was fairly quite as it was off season although this was to our advantage being hardly any queuing. Great choice of rides at varying thrill level, all well maintained. The cost of refreshments is quite high, but not surprising for a theme park. There was a €4 charge for sunbed hire, which we thought was a cheek given the entry fee. This didnt affect us though as we didnt want to use them, its all about the slides for us. All in all, its a great day out.
Big water park. We visited the place in march and so there was no queues to the slides. Place was clean and slides are in good shape. Quite expensive and be prepared to pay more inside for sun beds and lockers.
Great water park with fun rides for all ages. Some of the rides are for four persons, so the whole family can go at once. We went there in March, and there were no queues at all. Very quiet and relaxing experience. Some areas could need some maintainance and varnish..
We spent a day here in March. No waiting lines and good slides. We had discount from a local tourist shop. Floor was not that rough. Water was quite cold but then again its not mid summer either so what is there to complain. Overall we had a great stay. Just get 1 or 2 beds with your group because you wont be spending your day on those sunbeds anyways.
Really nice waterpark. Monday is a good day to go because it’s much less busy. The park is a little bit dated but not in an unpleasant way. Great spot to spend a day with friends or family.
An amazing trip I would recommend to anyone visiting Tenerife!Beautiful scenery, great slides and an incredible dolphin show!I would go again just for the dolphins but will definitely come back for the whole experience
The park itself is very big and many of the rides are a lot of fun. On some of the rides it’s maybe 5-10 of waiting time, but the longest we had to wait was 15 minutes which isn’t too bad. When we went to get an ice cream inside the park though, we had to stand in line for around 30 minutes because there was only one person working there and around 10 people waiting in line. It’s also very expensive - you pay the entrance fee and then you have to pay another 5 euros inside just to use a locker, and 4 euros if you want to sit down on a sun bed. My boyfriend sat down at a sun bed while waiting for me to go to the bathroom, and within a minute they were already there to charge him the 12 euros. This was obviously before we were aware of the fact that we had to pay to use them. The shower area is also absolutely disgusting and looks like it hasn’t been maintained at all.
Great day out. Slides are great, nothing that is really massive but great fun and nearly all use mats or inflatables. Does get busy so get on everything you want first then relax, they charge you €5 for a sun lounger I think. €15 euro for a large pizza and a big drink.
