April's Pizzeria in White Sulphur Springs

The Sicilian pizza is definitely the way to go if your hungry! Oh my gosh it was so dang good!

Had a very good waitress and the food was very good. Love their homemade bread.

My Granddaughter and I went for dinner so she could have a salad. The service was excellent as well as the food. The ham and pineapple pizza is amazing.

This place is amazing, great food, great portion size as well as prices. The restaurant is very clean, smells good and the staff is very friendly with fast service. Their bbq pulled pork is AMAZING.

Not the best experience. The pizza bar wasnt very thought out when there is kids, the pizza crust was to hard to cut with a knife for the little ones, the sauce for the turnover tasted like straight tomato sauce and the service was not friendly at all. I will not be back

Put anchovies on my pizza when I said not too and my food had a bite taken out

Aprils is a very solid hometown pizza place would definitely recommend if youre in the mood for some good pizza!

I have been here twice, second time was to give them the benefit of the doubt. Service was terrible both times. Food was not up to par for prices.

Prices were decent, food was just okay at best. The place gave off weird vibes, and the display of dolls at the register was a little bit creepy for a restaurant.The bathroom was strange as well and a bit dirty. Our table also was not fully clean when we sat down and it had sticky stuff on it.All the locals love this place, its a cute little diner in a small West Virginia town, but honestly, I wont be back and would not reccomend as a first choice for food. Some of the staff was okay, but our waitress was a little rude to usThis place was definitely an experience for me to say the least

The atmosphere is so welcoming & staff is very friendly. I loved the valentine decor everywhere, pretty & tasteful. Loved the sock dog! Huge Barbie collection as you walk in, behind the register is neat to look at. The pizza was delicious with the right amount of cheese & crunch & generous amount of toppings.

The worst customer service in White sulfur Springs if you want to be aggravated ignored and get your order cooked wrong this is your spot. According to the hostess their policy is if you dont like it dont come back

Friendly staff, LOTS of food. We went for the green tomato on spaghetti and the fried green tomato entrée, and was not disappointed.

Its been a while since I have had Pizza there and as always it was Delicious and the Service was Great..

Their food is great. My favorites are the pepperoni pizza, chicken Alfredo and the fried green tomatoes.

The pizza here is great, I love it but the service here is awful!! We have been going here for at least a year and all the service is cold and unfriendly, they act like it is a huge inconvenience for them to wait on you. I only gave them 3 stars because the pizza is so good but the service is a zero! Will not go back again.

ordered a call in and all the food was completely incorrect, and customer service is pretty bad. the hot ham sandwich is nothing but bread and a single slice of ham. please look at the food before you leave the restaurant…

Stopped in for lunch while camping and making wood run. Nice people and the food was very good. We did not see the lunch buffet before we ordered straight from their menu. I would have tried their buffet. :)

Portion size was great, side salad was good with lots of veggies. The chicken parm was very disappointing; no taste because it was fettuccine noodles covered with plain tomato sauce and cut up chicken and NO CHEESE at all.

I asked the waitress what food she recommended. She said you cant go wrong with the turnover, spaghetti (the meat sauce is housemade), and the Lasagna is made fresh. I opted for the lasagna. She was right, the meat sauce on it was very good. It came in a very large portion, but also came with bread and the salad bar. I didnt eat the salad so they took off $2. I would eat here again.

First time eating here, got our dinner to go (fried mushrooms, fried green tomatoes and a pizzaand it was all amazing. We will definitely be back to eat on the patio next time!

I used to love this place but the service was slow and the portions were smaller and no uniform at all. I will go again the food was ok but not to the level of quality I am used to from what was my Favorite place.

Very nice staff willing to help u at all cost. Everything I have ever ordered to eat has been great. Great draft beer also.

Good pizza but I didnt think much of it when a customer took his used plate back to the bar with no mask but good pizza though

My daughter and I ate here on recommendation from our Airbnb host (check out The Guest House). We ordered a large pepperoni and sausage pizza and an order of breadsticks. Both were amazing! The breadsticks are house-made--crispy on the outside, soft in the middle. The pizza was so flavorful. I even ate all the crust. Employees were all super friendly. I definitely want to return with the rest of my family.

First time eating there. Was impressed. Didnt care for the cheddar jalapeno bites but my preference. Everything wa stood an good service. Definitely recommend stopping there again

Made a stop for lunch.... specifically got ourselves sandwiches to go. No regrets at all. The ingredients were fresh. The bread was fantastic. Would recommend Aprils without hesitation.

We are from Louisville Kentucky and needed to stop in the area for the restroom and were hungry. Decided to give this little spot a shot and it was very good and very well priced for a small budget. Our waiter was very nice and she also had a set of twins like we did and was very helpful and sweet.

This place only has a good reputation because of small community loyalty and the fact that its cheap food. The bar has a good selection but dont order the chicken parmesan, its my favorite dish but Ive never had any this bad. The noodles had a funky texture and taste, seemed like it had been stored for too long. To top the cake, from the dining room I overheard a manager verbally abusing a crew member. I am a huge fan of small family owned businesses because they value quality and typically treat their employees better than the coorperations. This restaurant seems to lack both. I wont be back anytime soon.

Was really good will definitely eat there again better pizza than any where around here . My kids loved it to definitely get your moneys worth

Could not be more disappointed. Did not even get a chance to eat as we got to the pizzeria at 915 and were told they were not accepting tables. I have worked food services before and every place I have worked the time you close (in this case 930is the earliest you turn away customers. Doubt I will be back for a second attempt.

Could do with a better beer selection and more help for the current staff. But, that said, our waitress amazing! She was running around like crazy to take care of us and basically the whole restaurant.

I believe that this place is popular only because the support of its friendly community. Im sorry, but if you are a pizza lover and know how to recognize a good quality pizza, so I dont recommend to invest your time and money in this place with poor quality frozen food. Youll find better options in Lewisburg.

Good pizza. First time there and we ate the buffet. I guess they can only make one pizza at a time and everyone swarms the bar as soon as one comes out. So 4 people at the bar, 2 slices per person, one pizza, your odds arent good lol & another 15 min wait for the next pizza swarm. Salad bar was good. They do need to drain the water out of the lettuce though. Most people at our table had a plate full of water.

My son and I moved here from Maryland 4 years ago and weve loved this place and the people from the first visit. We dine there regularly and we always have a pleasant time there. Though it is a restaurant, it feels like home.

The salad bar was awesome. It was nice and fresh. I ordered a Reuben sandwich and I was very disappointed in the Reuben sandwich. It came with regular plate bread instead of the bread it is supposed to be used for a Reuben. There was very little meat on it. I was very dissatisfied.

I have an interesting review of this pizzeria. In 2007 myself and a group of friends were camping in Watoga State Park. We had started walking what we thought was a trail and ended up lost. We were rescued by luck and accident by someone working for the fish and game stationed in white surfer. This pizzeria gave us a free pizza and offered drinks while the state police found the rest of friends to come get us; even though they had to stay over their close time. I am forever grateful to this place and the food was amazing (not just because we got lost). I hope this review will convince you to stop in this place.

Salad bar was very fresh. Pizza was good but one of them could have used more sauce. Overall worth the price of 5.99.

I will travel great a great distance for great pizza. Unfortunately in the case of April’s Pizzeria the journey was for not. The toppings were fresh and tasty yet scarce. The sauce forgettable and bland as if from a can. While the worst part was the crust. The crust tasted like something out of a Betty Crocker cookbook. Finally, my pizza was just barely baked. As in “the cheese melted so it must be done right”?!?!?! Wrong! Gave 3 stars since it’s a family business and I know its a difficult endeavor. Would have rated 2.5 if that was an option.

My favorite place to eat in White Sulpher/Lewisburg..pizza and spaghetti..my wife likes the eggplant parmesian.. just minutes from the Greenbrier Resort!

In the great little town of White Sulphur Springs, youd be missing out of you didnt stop by Aprils. Inexpensive lunch (pizzabuffet that comes with a conversation with one of the nicest people youll meet. And grab a cookie at the register: delicious!

Best pizza place to eat ever! Good pizza and salad bar all-around the waiting staff is great and are very welcoming. The pizza here tastes great and is cheap. Why go to Pizza Hut and pay more there when you can come to Aprils and get good pizza cheaper.

Was just riding through this neat little WV town when I saw "Pizza Buffet". Perfect, if its edible. I neednt have worried. Aprils is a friendly little hole-in-the-wall place that you quickly learn to love. The buffet had good salad stuff, plus broccoli soup. The pizza was fresh and hot, and tasted great. The service was friendly and fast. (Plus, the wait staff seemed to know all the locals, and it was fun listening to everyone catch up on local town news.Next time Im through the area, Ill stop in again!

This place is definitely a dive, but it so worth the stop. This a small family tun business and atmosphere is differently homey, but clean! Food was great and portions are large! The pricing is very reasonable and served hot!
