Apricot Coffee in Budapest

A really good coffee - cortado. But I have to say that it would be much appreciated if it would be served in the glass (not in a cup). Very kind and easygoing staff.

Cozy little place hidden from the main road, but still close to a big junction (Blaha Lujza ter). I ordered a latte, good quality and the price was reasonable. Also have to mention the very friendly staff and the fast service. Will visit again and might try something else

Really great coffee, so glad we found this place & walked in! Both dairy and nondairy caffe lattes were great - milk was steamed perfectly, espresso was lovely, 10/10 will return next time we’re in the city. Also the employees were kind and friendly, really wonderful experience all around!

While in Budapest for two weeks, we went to 2-3 different Cafés per day to try their Espresso... and Apricot was, hands down, the BEST!The vibe is so warm and welcoming! 🥰 The owner, Balász, was a total sweetheart and so fun to chat with! Viktor, the barista, was super talented! Tina, Viki, and Flora were amazing servers and remembered our order!They have two Coffee Bean varieties to choose from daily - a House Blend and then a rotating single origin Bean. We would always rotate daily which we had!Our favorite was a Double Espresso followed by a Bulletproof Coffee. And the Bulletproof Coffee was DIVINE! It is made with just Espresso + Unsalted, 82% Fat Butter + MCT + Water... but it is amazingly creamy and delicious! Perfect way to start every morning before we hit the pavement to explore Budapest!Thank you, Apricot Family! You will forever remain in our hearts! 💛

A busy little cafe close to where we were staying. We visited twice during our 4 day stay and both times were fantastic. Fresh orange juice and great pastries!! We loved Budapest and will miss visiting this little cafe.

Without a doubt the most delicious coffee in Budapest. The best Ive ever had, honestly. The staff there is so friendly and caring, and the coffee is just amazing! Will definitely visit again when Im back in Budapest!

Had a delicious turkey sandwich which includes mandarin oranges. I enjoyed the espresso. It had a very fruity taste

I went 4 times, 2 times the coffee was good and the employee polite, 2 times the coffee was weak and the employee almost insulting. With the huge number of similar places, its no use to go there. I wont come back.

I love coffe and travel a lot, always with my manual espresso machine looking for the best coffee beans, and for my smell and taste they have the best ones so far (House blend), completed lately with Oatly barista, if you are also into non dairy cappuccinos. Owner and staff are very nice as well.

Best coffee place in town. Weve tried couple of coffee shops around Budapest and this is by far the best. They serve great coffee, sandwiches and the staff are super nice! Def recommend, especially if you are looking for a nice stop that hasnt got affected by the tourist influx!

A well deserved 5-star review 👏 Right when you walk in the staff welcome you with warm smiles and greetings. The hot chocolate is one of the best we have ever had, and the coffee is very good as well. Make sure you try one of the cookies or treats. They even have good toilet rules! 🤣

We were looking for brunch and were thinking of leaving right after we came in but the friendly staff made all the difference. Very accommodating service, amazing coffee and the fresh sandwiches that we went with instead of brunch were perfect. Highly recommend!

Its hard to find great coffee in Budapest, but look no further as we wish we would have found this place on day one! The owner is very nice and the pastries were a great treat as well!! This is a must for all coffee lovers!!

I would say this is a hidden gem (which means it is not located on the major streets). The coffee is good. But what stood out for me is the hospitality of the baristas. And they speak fluent English. During my stay, I heard people talking in Magyar, German, and French which means this cafe is popular for both locals and foreigners

Super friendly staff and a cozy small place. Very good food and drinks. We ordered hot chocolate (with a snowman on the top), americano, chocolate roll and ham and cheese croissant. €8,16 total!

We came here every morning during our trip to Budapest and were consistently impressed by the friendly service, cozy atmosphere, quality food and excellent coffee. My only regret is that we wont have time to come back on our last day!

It’s a shame we found this place on the last day of our stay in Budapest... Best coffee we have had on our trip, and its open at 7am... which seems to be ultra rare for a specialty coffee shop... We were a little bit early for the pastry delivery, so we ventured back for a 2nd round a bit later in the morning...

This place has amazing coffee and really good almond milk (unsweetened), if youre into the almond milk latte thing like me.Sweet and savory pastry offerings are amazing -- love the quiche and the chocolate croissant has a generous amount of chocolate inside (clutch). Also get the mocha (pictured below).Service is amazing, they go the extra mile to make sure you are happy. Very small, intimate place but never feels crowded because shhhh its a SECRET!s

Best mocha (chocolate and coffeeIve ever had, the owner ground some coffee for me and we had a discussion about the perfect grind size. He knows whats up and the foam art is beautiful

Our favourite café in Budapest! Had our coffee and pastry here every morning during our week-long vacation. Service was great, but most importantly, the coffee was exactly the way i love it! Coffee made with a passion!

The owner of this shop makes this shop five stars. He is so friendly. Every coffee shop should be owned by a person like him. Coffee prices are nothing compared to US coffee prices and he creates adorable designs on top of the lattes. Before leaving Budapest, I came back a second time with a friend and we asked him to create two different designs. Try getting a US coffee shop employee to do that without a sour face. The shop itself is also really cute and he plays great music on his record player. He speaks English well, takes credit card, and will always offer you a rewards punch card :)
