Very good service and food. Foods are a little oily but tastes good
There food is very tasty and they have the perfect spice level wether that be mild or super hot lol
Naan 10/10Paya 10/10Beef curry 10/8Very satisfied 👌🏻👌🏻
After we visited Niagara Falls we were looking for tasty Pakistani food. I looked up on google and this halal place pops up didn’t have much time to read reviews so I order my food on the phone and we dine in .The food at Desi khabba is exceptional! Very tasty and well prepared and you can chose among many menu options. I love the service at the place and the owner/chef is so friendly and respectful with the guests ! I highly recommend this place. We order family platter. All deserts looked so good so ordered rasmalai, kheer, and zarda. Kheer was 10/10. Everything else was delicious.
Says theyll open at 9 am but doesnt open till 10 am. Wont even let you enter. But the food was good.
Food poisoning. Stale dry food. Completely overpriced for microwaved food. Their salad is even dry. Please avoid. Your stomach and wallet will hurt.
Dirty disgusting place. Food is tasting so bad and old. Kabab was good but everything else so bad. Why they are so expensive for less than decent food?Guys try other restaurants. This one is going to be out of business soon.
Best heart and tummy filling south asian food in Buffalo. Great portions as well. Lots of varieties to choose from.
This restaurant is amazing! Easily the best desi food in all of Buffalo. I tried the butter chicken, nihari, haleem, biryani, rass malai, butter naan, among other things and all of them were fantastic. The service was great as well and I highly reccomend coming here.
They make the most delicious butter chicken and chicken wings ive ever tasted! I was so flabbergasted and shocked on how tender and crispy the wings were. the food was so amazing and i would really recomend this restraunt and the food dishes!
What can I say, the food was amazing to the point where amazing seems like an understatement. I really loved everything, the rasmalai was phenomenal, never had it that delicious before just like the naan.
Few weeks ago I ate there and their food make me surprised by amazing taste. I’m happy I found the best Pakistani food in USA, after 14 years. Now I drive every weekend to their best food and it’s take 1 hr drive but it’s worth and prices are cheap compare to Rochester food prices and staff are friendly like home environment . Highly recommend this place. I wish them good luck for their business.
Best restaurant in buffalo new York area . It’s very delicious food .
The food was very very horrible, even I can make it better at home. I literally wrote 2 paragraphs and just deleted it because I couldn’t finish on how horrible the whole experience was. The food was horrible (even when given another “fresh” order), the service was trash, and the place is very cheap. The material that they provide is so cheap and yet they overpriced. The whole restaurant is bad. Also I saw the owner/manager yelling at their chef/waiter multiple times and harassing them multiple times. The food was garbage, if anything stay away from their chicken over rice and their chicken and goat Karahi. Do yourself a favor and don’t even come here… if want to come, I definitely don’t recommend eating the food that I mentioned. Even though the food they reserved us was “fresh”. Worst restaurant that I have ever went to. Only positive was that they guy in the front/waiter was nice and patient with us, as we were patient with him, but I guess you have to do that in this business. Horrible everything, I don’t even know how this is even 4+ stars.I genuinely felt bad for the kids that were sitting at a nearby table, telling their parent the food was horrible, but the parents only ate appetizers and the cake they brought over(must be a birthday party), and they said that the food can’t be that bad, even though they never tasted it. And yeah, I wrote another long rant.
We ordered mutton karahi, chicken tikka, chicken biryani, chicken seekh kabab, lamb chaanp with naan, everything was great delicious and reasonable prices. My whole family loved their food while we here for summer vocation. Definitely will come again and recommend to others
We went there for lunch with the whole family and we had a great time . Food was great and quantity was very well. Very friendly ppl and service was great as well. Thank you
Food was delicious and freshly baked naan was yum. Mr Farooq and teams hospitality made us feel at home. Jazzak Allah to the kind lady at Walmart who guided us here.
Food was super delicious and staff was friendly, 10/10 would recommend to a friend.
I got the goat biryani and it was the most tender meat I’ve ever had. The environment was very comfortable and the food was fantastic.
Assalam U AlaikumToday I took lunch here, it was really very good in test.Food quantity was also good. And service was fantastic. I feel like home.
I think its the best restaurant in town due to service and variety, staff is very much friendly especially Ahmed and Zia.
Amazing authentic Nihari that tastes like you are at a dhaba in Pakistan
Ordered nihari. Gave us old and spoilt food. Had to throw it all out. Waste of time and money.
We order the goat and aloo and there was no aloo(potatonot to mention the fact the fries and burger were incredibly lack luster the chicken burger was a tiny piece of meat and some buns customer service was terrible and the rice was bad not to mention overpriced I recommend never coming here
I ordered from them goat masala but I receive bones without meat just bones
This was the lamb chops given to me. I tried eating it but no meat. When I asked the owner he said that’s how lamb chops are when I told him I had lamb chops from other restaurants he said show me how u think it looks. Like wthUpdate: we tried to eat off of it and if you know our family for so long then how about give us good quality food that we paid for? Never again thought better places in buffalo to eat.
Best place to taste Pakistans food. We have tried Chicken Biryani, Chicken Karahi, Lahori Channay, Vegetable curry in continental and in desert we have tried, Gulab Jamun, Ras Malaee and Kheer. The whole food was awesome and staff was remarkable especially BUTT Sb :-)
This is my first review ever!I came from Philadelphia to this city for the first time. I was extremely hungry & based on the reviews i went there. Absolutely the worst experience & food poisoning of my life. Order a Goat karhahi and lamb chops along with Channas which were ready (microwavedin 8 minutes total. That was really unusual as a fresh Goat karhahi takes an hour to make & lamb chops take atleast 30-45 minutes. The goat karhahi was so disgusting & the lamb chops were so dry they were not edible. When i told the cashier/cook about the lambchops he became really defensive & said “how can it be dry when we made them last night!” I dont know how this place has 4 something rating when it’s the most disgusting restaurant i have ever been in. If you still want to eat there despite my warning, have at it but don’t complain later about food poisoning or digusting feeling in your stomach after. Very pricey for such disgusting food.I don’t care if i sound like a Karen but this restaurant needs to shut down asap!!!!
Most probably the good ratings they have on this place are bought from fake reviews providers. There is no way this place can have high rating. This place most probably wont even pass health inspection let alone get a good review from someone. Food is prepared once a day and is kept in heated pans all day which goes foul by evening. They still sell it. They put left overs in the fridge and put the same food out on the shelf next day if not sold. We ordered some food from them and food had bad smell. You can see in reviews people have had food poisoning from their food. The owner should close this place and try his luck in some other business. He cant run a business in America with 3rd world standards.
The food has been bad lately because they have a different management. My cousin got food poisoning from this restaurant and he’s had to go to the hospital. Read all the comments and reviews about bad food and think twice before ordering here.I have also reported them to the city for health inspection
One of the worse experience. Over priced, worse food, worse service
The food was delicious and flavorful. The quantity was pretty good as well. However, if you are not fond of spicy food you should request it beforehand as they did put extra green chillies on everything which made it quite spicy. Without the green chillies the flavor of the food is perfect for someone who likes medium spice. Definitely recommend the samosa chaat.
Best Pakistani/Indian restaurant. They sell real good food. If you are craving some deshi food, try it you will fall in love with it.
Behavior of employees are amazing. They are really nice. However, the price of food is very high compared to the quantity. I felt the price to be high.
Awesome food.. I can’t say that the place is very clean but the food is really tasty and has authentic Pakistani taste.. take out is another good option. Food reminded me of delicious wedding food from Pakistan.. we tried many different dishes including samosa chat, goat and chicken and everything was amazing. Their naans have no comparison in the USA, they are really good!! Definitely recommend the place.
I recommend to all travelers to try this place for one time for :1. Taste of the food. Very delicious.2. Hospitable staff. Respectful and understanding. Guiding us very well with any food option they had.3. It’s in a corner place of the town and perhaps far from Nia fall or down town but its worth going for the food.4. Last is the price. You will get more for the same price comparing to other places.
First, they take very long to prepare food. Second, everything is way too overpriced and this is the general opinion of many people in our community which is why a lot of us dont go there anymore. Its unseasonably overpriced. One piece of kabab is 3-4 dollars! Place is also not clean. Theres other places in Buffalo now. Dont go here.
This is the worst restaurant I have ever seen in my life. Terrible customer service, disgusting behavior. After we ordered food , we were waiting more then 45 minutes, finally they gave cold food. But it should be hot and warm. They don’t have water & napkins. We asked for napkins - they gave us a toilet paper roll, in a brief- they are uncivilized.
The worst experience ever I had visiting and dine in this restaurant alongwith my family and guest. The food quality was very bad. The rice served was freezing cold. Instead of napkin they gave toilet roll on the table. The meat was only bones. Toilet flash was broken. How this restaurant got license I am really surprised !!
Tooo over priced food… specifically the gyro. We too gyro over rice & the rice was old cooked. It didn’t taste good at all. Only the chana dal we liked. Other than that all food tastes okay for the price. Tandoori chicken was too salty. All of it they took extra money 💴 if you are paying with credit card 💳 along with the tax. They call it “atm charge “. Disappointing…I give 2 star ⭐️ for service & clean environment.
Went to Desi Khaba for the first time today. Their chicken kebabs and mutton korma are the best I have had in Buffalo in the last 20 years! It’s a causal place so don’t go there expecting a fancy restaurant. Can’t wait to go there again!
In WNY, this is by far the most authentic Pakistani/Indian restaurant. Their recipes bring out the taste of the cuisine as experienced in the subcontinent. The service is friendly and they are not hung up on typical policy and procedures and are generous with their portions. The staff is helpful and friendly and the place is clean. The atmosphere is closer to a "Dhaba" which translates into a casual place catering to down to earth common people; so dont go there looking for fancy white table cloths and a wait staff. I go there for the awesome food and am never disappointed!
My family and I were visiting Niagara Falls and were looking for a good Halal place. We visited and were not disappointed by the restaurant itself, as well as the quality of the food. The restaurant had nice modern elements while maintaining a clean environment. The food was phenomenal, especially the Chicken Tikka. I loved the place and the staff was very friendly! Overall, give this place a visit.
The management is cordial and differential. The food we ordered was excellent and we really enjoyed. The last but not the least was the Tea which was astounding. One of my favorite places for delicious Halal food. Definitely one of the best places in the area. Looking forward to a return visit. It has a nice atmosphere. Makes me feel like I am back in Sacramento. This literal hole in the wall spot came through for us today. Great flavor, great value, large portions and kind service. A+ What this place lacks in atmosphere and decor it easily blows away with authentic belly filling happiness. Dont be afraid folks. Ask to see what they have under the lids of the area behind the counter. Its all very delicious!Try this place. Ask questions if youre unsure and dont let the inside of this restaurant discourage you.
Came here to try authentic Pakistani and Indian cuisine for the first time. For starters, the restaurant is not well kept. The tables and floors were dirty. Not well decorated or organized. Staff is somewhat friendly. We ordered chicken biryani and one samosa. The chicken biryani was pretty disappointing. It was just a standard flavored rice in which they added chicken to it and thats not how biryani is really made. Did not like the samosa. The food was okay, not a wow factor for me personally. We had kulfis for dessert, which are from a franchise. Those were yummy. Hope the food quality could improve. As per response by the owner: you can see that only two items were ordered which is clearly not a family combo and he is mistaking me for someone else. Unfortunately, manners need to be worked on. This is my personal opinion and everyone else can try the food and make their own judgment call.
This is a very good halal food store and very good food. Its very tasty not too oily. Environment very good. Food is very cheap. Nice music. Highly recommended.
The only reason I am giving it 2 stars is bc the food was good. Somewhat overpriced. Wait time is long. No A/C. They forgot my order. TWICE. Had to wait over 5 mins just to get a cup of tea. Wasnt worth. 0/7
Reasonable desi food but big plus is as per my channels check they are serving Halal food but you may still apply further your channel checks to ensure halal compliance. Lahori Chana and naan are recommended but not rice. Also there is a small separate family section in case u need a space for family.
Food is excellent. It is perhaps as original as it gets -- the restaurant seems to be heavily favored by native Pakistani folk (guessing from their ethnic clothes). The chicken kabob was spicy (for my wife and daughterbut pretty good to me. This is a no frills restaurant, but they make up for it with their exceptional food. Note: the restaurant is located in a sketchy neighbourhood, but no worries in the daytime.
The Food is so good. Naan looks exquisite and also tastes so delicious. I have been to a lot of halal restaurants in the area and no restaurant has had this kind of naan bread. Overall experience is beyond! :however, the salad had way too much ranch dressing and I wasnt able to eat it because the dressing over powered the salad but its not a big deal, a lot of people like ranch dressing
