Applebee's Grill + Bar in Hagatna

Our bartender and server was very friendly and positive. There was another employee who seemed to be the manager who was eating gummies they put in beverages straight out of the jar with his hands and we overheard him saying there mixed specialty drinks were just a bunch of sugar with a splash of alcohol (as well as the dirty gummies he was eating), we had said drinks in front of us. Wont be ordering anything but beer for now on. Over all this guy seemed sleezy. Our bartender should get a raise not the "manager".

Food was not bad but there were only 2 people working and one of the two was a host so in reality there was only one person on the floor.

Process of service and food preparation takes to long. I have this service every time I go there. Thought it will improve, but they need to step it up........

Great restaurant layout. Large U shape bar, covered outer area seating from the main diner room for large groups and game viewing. Food was very good the place was clean, cool and relaxing.

Service was great! We just had appetizers and some drinks.

Food was incredibly mid, drinks had more mixer than any liquor, and worst of all the prices were outrageous. Tell me how this establishment did a 10% charge with every certain thing I ordered. I got 1 appetizer, 1 cheap entree, and 1 drink and totaled to 45 dollars. Outrageous! Let me save you the trouble and just say chilis is way better than this place. Only thing that was good about this place was the uplifting host twilight! That’s what the only star goes to.

I was disappointed that we were seated in area where live band was getting ready to play, they should let us know n offer a quieter spot if we wanted. They were so loud we couldnt even talk. Not the anniversary dinner I was hoping for after being apart 4 years due to Military.

No service, burn food, n expensive.I won’t be having Applebees till I go back to the states.

Reserve a table if youre trying to eat during peak hours. Parking is free and shared amongst adjacent businesses.

First off, Im not big on chain restaurants and their quick ready made food, but this Applebees was great. I was just there to see some visiting familia so I didnt have a full meal, but the drinks and apps that my cousin had were stellar and our server was the sweetest. We sat in the bar and it was chill considering how busy they were. Id definitely recommend 😘👍🏾

Spoiled myself today. Got the salad bar. Steak and shrimp parmesan and fried pickles for the appetizer. The steak was cooked beautifully and was actually one of the best cuts of sirloin Ive ever had at a restaurant. The shrimp and creamy parmesan drizzle was superb. The fried pickles were light and crispy, well seasoned. I will definitely go back. Service was amazing. I sat at the bar area and had a perfect meal.

Went to dinner with friends from work. The restaurant was not that busy but somehow it still took a long time to even get drinks. I ordered a burger well done with crispy bacon. What I got was a raw burger with undercooked bacon. Several of my friends recieved undercooked and/ or incorrect food that took a very long time to come out, especially given how undercooked it was. Most of the group recieved cold food of one kind or another. Nearly all of our fries were cold. After waiting several minutes for wait staff to return to the table I finally stood up and had to flag down someone. When I tried to explain what was wrong, my plate was snatched from my hand. One of my friends was supposed to be getting her food remade but it never came out. Another friend never recieved his drink. When we finally were able to flag down a server for refills, they tried to refill my 7up with water and got two other drinks completely wrong.As an added bonus, I got to spend my night, and thus far most of my morning, running to the bathroom and had to take the day off work for fear of being more than 20 feet from a bathroom.Overall, service was bad. Never have I ever had to consistently search for waitstaff to flag down. Our server, as well as others, did not present a positive and friendly attitude. Food was awful, just awful. We been after multiple complaints, no manager ever came by the table and spoke to us. No explanation nor apologies were offered, and nothing was done to make any of us to ever want to return.I strongly encourage you to avoid this place. This was not my first bad experience here but will definitely be my last.

Much better than mainland Applebees, which is not my go to. The menu has an island twist that works well. I got the mustard fried chicken which had a coconut based dipping sauce.

Great place to hangout with Family or Friends. Food is delicious. Band & DJ was Fantastic. Easy listening music while having some appetizers or eating your main meal. Must visit since the restaurants are starting to open from this pandemic.

Really great service! Monica was very helpful and on point with drink refills. We came to try the All You Can Eat appetizers, and it was very well worth it. Enjoyed every minute we spent there.

Great place. Our group really enjoyed ourselves. Especially with the live music action going on. Our host was very nice (Thanks Jade!). The food was amazing except for when they served a Blue Moon beer off tap, it was warm. We heard that someone had mentioned the same thing the day before. Was disappointed in that but in all still had a great evening. Wed definitely go back!!

Came in for their Lent Special Unlimited Fish and Chips! First order was a full plate, the next orders that came out were half the fish and fries, which was ok because if you get too many full orders, it may be hard to finish. I had a total of two full orders... 8 pieces of fish.I really like the Fried Fish here. Very crispy batter! I was a little disappointed this visit though... a few of the pieces were soggy inside the batter, three pieces were really rubbery and of those three, two of them were still cold in the middle and couldnt finish eating them. They mustve been fried whole still frozen.There wasnt a crowd and I didnt see a lot of other people ordering the fish and chips, so a rush wouldnt have caused that.The fries/chips were cooked perfectly!I still like it here so this experience hasnt deterred me from going there again. The restaurant as a whole is still 4 stars... this experience, 3 stars

Absolutely love this place. Its a good place to eat and hangout with friends. The atmosphere is good since its not too loud and the food, drinks and service are really good as well. Id definitely come back

When I dont feel like cooking, I always order family platters from here. They serve everything from seafood, chicken, ribs, pork. Nomnomnom😁❤

Loved it! The atmosphere is perfect! Friendly environment and our favorite person was the lady with the beautiful purple hair 💜.

The food was mediocre. I haven’t been here in 4 years and there weren’t much people here for 5pm on a Sunday. The spinach artichoke was watered down. The overall food was just okay to eat. The stars is for the server who was great as she gave me my two sauce on the sides since I was indecisive and was very cheerful

Ambient music is pretty good that time. We tried their miso salmon, chicken carbonara, and grilled chicken burger! All good 🖤! As well as their customer service - fast and comfortable.😊🤓👍

Busy and crowded AF restrictions are pretty loose at the time of this post. Prices expected of place. My chicken pasta was $18. Theres a service charge. Pretty loud music. Bar and drinks. Servers are nice. Place can be a bit loud for some people

I walked in and reserved a party for 9 people. For about 1 and half hours, we waited for our table. While we waited, numerous parties with about 5-7 people each got a table within 5 minutes of entering the resturaunt. The waiters/waitresses stood around at the front and did nothing to update us about our table. All they did was give us a few glances, which made me and the others feel like we were more of a nuisance than a valued customer. Our party lost patience and walked out disappointed. Their live music was pretty good though. I personally enjoyed it while waiting. If you can get a table, I think you will have a pleasant experience. For me and the 8 other people with me, we did not. To the manager, I apologize for the comment my grandmother gave. Although I do wish we were provided better service, I dont think that the comment was kind. Please understand that the long wait made her impatient and frustrated. Thank you.

The red rice, pork chop and short ribs were awesome! My office mate had mushroom and swiss burger, must have been good because she demolished it! 😋😋😋🍔🍄🍟

Service is really bad. And sad part was, it wasnt that busy. Yet you have to wait 10 minutes for a refill on your drink. We asked for water as well, took 10 minutes a like they had to go to a well or stream to get water...I believe the server forgot to pick up our orders. Our food got to the table and it was cold. So train your staff. Without customers, they wouldnt have a job. Server wasnt mean or rude. She just took forever getting our orders. Sometimes have to come back and ask what was the order again...

A very nice overall experience. The service was good as well as the food. The restaurant was clean and seemed to be well organized. There was no wait when we arrived for lunch on a Sunday. The only negative I have was that the table was not cleaned before we were seated, and with that not sanitized.

Was there with our grandkids for dinner. However, we were seated directly in fromt of the DJ and the music was way too loud. Consideration shouldve been made by seating us further away from the noise so we dont have to talk over the it.

I just ordered there loco mocoMy order taker on phone said it will take 45 min. I called in by 45 min and she said its ready. I go and pick up, its not hot or warm, my order is chill, by just sitting for awhile. Got home my red rice smells burned and taste burned.So disappointed and dissatisfied.

Love the Ribs and Chicken with red rice, ceasar salad, yummy warm bread and butter for $26 dollar only. . We had last night... my fave too are their burgers set for $8 only.. we reviewed them on our live facebook page One Thousans One Hundred Eleven ;... oh and their Ice teass are thee best!!

This is our “go-to” restaurant, their daily specials are our faves! We love the monday BOGO steaks the most! Always a fun place, we literally overstay past closing when with friends because the atmosphere is just comfortable! Staff is great, they remember us and have great conversations with us! Will always be return customers here!

I SAW A PARTY OF TEN SO CLOSE TO A FULL BAR AND THE PARTY JUST KEPT GETTING BIGGER. 10...12...14....15.... Only three servers and didnt see a manager for over 2 hours. I have dropped my 5 stars

Food is decent and the cocktails are nice too! Sad they pushed the half price appetizers to after 9PM instead of during happy hour. Ambiance is very relaxed and there is even outdoor seating available as well.

Ate lunch there recently, and was impressed by the friendly servers and the exceptional customer service the GM provided during their busy lunch rush hour. The GM went out of her way to check on all of the customers to make sure we were all happy with our service and the food. In addition to the impeccable service, the food was delicious and the salad bar had many options. Will definitely comer back again!

Server was great. She was 110%. Even the other staff they really got great customer service. Thats what makes you love the place. Food was so so good. But the Ambiance was not for me. Table and chair I was sitting at felt awkward. Was not comfortable. I will try a different spot next time. 4/5 stars for now. But I always like to try places twice just in case it was a bad day.. etc.

Very friendly staff thats always ready to assist you with anything you need. They have great lunch specials and drink deals. This is a great spot for a group of friends or dining alone for a quick bite to eat. I like this location very much and will return soon!

Awesome service and good quality food served till late at night.

Applebee’s was fair in service and product. The Nacho appetizer needed a little more cheese and maybe served hotter. The wife enjoyed her Wonton Tacos, but the cheese topping on the French Onion Soup wasn’t melted. I was happy that the steak component of my Shrimp Parmesan Sirloin was cooked to medium rare. The sides: broccoli and garlic mash potatoes were average. The place is fine when you space out your visits.

A disappointing dinner 😟 This was caused by soggy fries, shrimps had no taste, the rice was old and lastly the baked potato was cold! We hadnt been here in a while and after todays dinner, I am sure we wont be coming here again and I certainly dont recommend this place as it would be a waste of your money.

Used to love this place..the atmosphere used to be live and friendly.. Now its meh. Current promo: $4 apps. Ordered the boneless chicken- they didnt have it available so they substituted it with 4 anorexic chicken wings. The chicken tacos and spinach dip were good tho for $4..

The food is good and the service was nice and prompt. Also free WiFi which is always a good thing.At time of writing I believe for the Lenten season they have unlimited fish and chips (which are friesand shrimp and chips (which are also fries).

February 04 2017: We had lunch at Applebees. The food was very good! The hamburger was for the first time in a restaurant exactly to my liking. The service we received from Mike was outstanding. He was professional, friendly and he gave good suggestions about food.February 11 2017: NO stars today. When we were seated we asked the waitress to turn down the TV. The TV was so loud that we couldnt talk. She was not successful! Then we talked to the manager on duty. Her response was: " Ill bring it forward" but was not willing to reduce the volume of the TV. As a result of her non action we had to leave.

Updated (12/2017): Went for the specials but sadly no more specials at all. Ordered the steak with onion rings and mash amongst other things, and the onion rings looked horrible and tasted undercooked. Refill on sauces were 99cents fyi. Wasnt feeling it and probably wont come here again until somebody reliable tells me the food became awesome.Great for a friends night out and love that they have daily specials and happy hour specials to enjoy. Waiters/waitresses are usually very welcoming and helpful but hosts at times can seem unfriendly or indifferent when being seated. Service is usually good but as others have said can get slow at peak times. One of the better places to have happy hour at since they last from 5pm to 11pm and the atmosphere is quite upbeat. Hope they come up with more special deals!

Awesome place for drinks, appetizers and live music. Went about 10 pm and service was quick and our server checked on us constantly. Live music was great..food was pretty good. Prices are somewhat high but similar to other American chains
