Applebee's Grill + Bar in Evans

I don’t know what the problem was this evening but the service was lacking. After we were seated the server was nowhere to be found. Not even the host/hostess came by to check on why we were still sitting there without being served. Seemed as if the staff this evening were preoccupied with other things and not attending to guests needs. Get it together Applebees.

Me and my kids order here all of the time. Last order I had good was cold; boneless wings felt like they took them out the refrigerator and put them in a bag. I gave them one more chance tonight because I was extremely hungry and it’s close to my house. Curbside was awesome. As soon as I pulled up they were walking out with my order. Get home, no sauce on my three cheese chicken. They gave me a small cup half way full for sauce! It only covered a little of my chicken and a few noodles. $15 down the drain for dry noodles

My friend and I went here twice. The first time they were almost dead they were so slow. The 2nd time they were absolutely packed. The reason I give them 3 stars is because both times we went we had to wait waaaay too long for our food and the 2nd time it was cold when we got it, and it took so long to get it, we had to have them make it to go because we were late to meet with a few of our friends. The servers were friendly enough and very apologetic. It wasnt their fault so we still tipped them well.Now I know why Applebees is going Bankrupt. Do better yall.

Food was served quickly and tasted good. Service was courteous and attentive.

I ordered the all you can eat chicken wings. They tasted pretty good. They came with some french fries that were little on the weird side. They werent soggy, but they were not crispy either. Almost every one of them was about an inch long. That was it.

This college atmosphere Aka sports bar atmosphere is great if youre 20. But its frozen and canned food with some seasonings and sauce and a huge price tag like they actually did something. Drinks are always expensive when you eat out.

Service here has gone down hill over the years but especially now in the past year service has really hit rock bottom. I think they should retrain your hostess to how to manage people coming in, this is the fourth time in the past three months my wife and I have waited for over 10 minutes to even see the hostess and decided to leave so might have taken longer, I think Ill go to the other location from now on its a further driver for me but at least the have there act together.

The place was not crowded when we went there and we sat inside of the bar area to watch the game. The server wasnt attentive and no polite. She didnt do anything along the lines of rude, but just wasnt polite. We ordered the spinach dip and chips. The chips were stale. I could tell. I didnt finish it and this is one of my favorite appetizers. I ordered the salmon, broccoli, and mashed potatoes. The person I went with had chicken alfredo. She stated that it was ok. She could tell that the chicken wasnt fresh. I could almost tell the same with my salmon. The broccoli was pretty good. I didnt care for the mashed potatoes too much. We both ordered drinks. I ordered that new drink by The Rock. It was good, so no complaints there.

Western burger was good, but forgot the onion rings.

Great food, nice and bright restaurant. I was nicely impressed. Food was good, tonight a cook walked out. The only issue I had was my bun was dried out. Otherwise it was great. Fries qere well done, but fresh. We will be back.

Hubby got the 12.99 all can eat wings and fries. It was hot and delicious. I had oriental chicken salad. Extremely good. Diet Pepsi was awful. First sweet tea bitter. Second tea was sweet almost too sweet but tolerated.

The food was terrible. But the service was amazing. Our server Camile was just wondeful. She was very personal and did her best to make sure our visit was great despite the food. That she is the only reason they even got a star.

If I could give no stars? I would.We were greeted and had a few laughs with our server. We ordered our drinks and it took 30 mins to get them. Then we ordered our food and they brought it out. Where our server admitted that it had been sitting a while so it was sitting under warmers so the plates were hot.Then I cut into my steak and you could have fooled me because the way it looked - looked like a pork chop. I ordered medium well and it came out well done (it probably was cooked medium well but because it sat forever it cooked through with its own heatI requested a new steak and it was barely cooked. We had still yet to receive our waters (ended up never receiving them at all).. we were given no napkins and we could overhear our server laughing and talking to other guest while it took my steak 1hr and 20 mins to get to my table. I then decided I had to use the ladies.. and found the bathroom was not clean. Overall. Will not be returning.

Well, I was looking for the doctor office across the street. This location helped me find it. I dine here in the pass and it was a really good experience! I like the cozy atmosphere!

Camille was our server and she was absolutely FANTASTIC! Food was good too!

This is the 5th visit over the summer me and my family have taken to this location. All 5 visits the Air conditioning wasnt working. All the waiters and waitresses were sweating profusely during all 5 visits. The fact that Applebees would go this long with the air conditioning not working and put their customers and guests thru this baffles me to no end. Definitely a 1 star service for sweating over my food

Our server was awesome! The food was ok. Husband ordered the steak medium and it came out super well done. I ordered the bourbon chicken and shrimp and it was really good! The kids ordered pizza and cheese sticks and they enjoyed it.

Manager was very unprofessional, being rude to customers asking them “ if they wanna go outside” to fight. Me and my family witnessed this situation. Then rudely reached over my boyfriends plate and took a drink off of our that we Paid for ! Will not be coming back and you guys just loss really good customers.

Jessie was our server. Man she was awesome. Shes super funny and keeps up with you to ensure you have all you need. It was very busy too. Thanks Jessie and the food was pretty good too.

I have never been told that Applebees can not serve a party of 15 until May 27th 2022! What is the world coming to?

Ot as good as expected... had to wait for a long time to get seated... when one whole side of the restaurant was not being used....when seated waitress was prompt. Ordered our beef cooked well done. Mine was raw in the middle, couldnt eat it. When I complained my food was taken off the bill.... I left very unhappy. Dont know if I will goback anytime soon

Food is delicious and they were able to sit a large party and still had great table service even though they were short staffed. You all did a great job on short notice!!!

The sampler tray was expensive, but items provided were GOOD! Not so the entrees; $10 hamburger was not that good, pasta dish was expensive and average. Tables are NOT wheelchair friendly! Go for atmosphere and a drink, skip the food...

Service was great I ordered the Ribeye what I got was as far away from a Ribeye as an ostrich egg is from caviar . This is my 3rd time at an applebees and will be my last

Bad experience all the way around. Wrong drink was brought out to me. Gave me a drink off the Happy hour menu when it wasnt asked for anything off of the Happy hour menu. My food was not hot. Mozzarella sticks were cold and appeared to be reheated in used oil because they were really dark. Mozzarella sticks were to come out first and they also put French fries on thw plate with the Mozzarella sticks and both were cold. Wings finally arrived and they were not hot as well. Just an all around bad experience at this location in Evans GA.

Food was so-so. Had to wait to be seated with a lot of empty tables. Server was very nice and efficient.

Hello I would like submit a formal complaint. The first Applebees located at 3117 Washington rd Augusta,GA 30907. We arrived at about 12:00 pm. The server did not greet us upon arrival. After waiting in the front of restaurant for 5 minutes. The server came over and stated. "I am the only server here and it will be over a 1 hour wait". This unacceptable service from Applebees. My family and I left and went to another Applebees located at 505 N Belair Rd Augusta GA 30809. The hostess greeted us and we had a party 8 people. She stated the wait would be 30 minutes. After 30 minutes of waiting and other customers are being seated. I went back to the hostess and advised we have been waiting for over 45 minutes to and hour. There was tables open and I told her because of size of our party we would greatly accept being seated at separate tables near or across from each other. I was told it was going to be another 10-15 minutes. They are are to clear the bar area prior to seating us. This is not acceptable and I feel that during a pandemic I have received excellent service from some of your competitors. Maybe this is a training issue or just employees that do not care what type service they are giving. I was here on vacation and never have a felt such a disgrace. I would NEVER return to these locations and will recommend that no one else. VERY UNHAPPY CUSTOMER.

My go to applebees. Seriously, we eat here like twice a week. I have had a few issues, and I feel that is to be expected anywhere especially when you eat there as much as we do here, but the few issues we have had they have gone over and beyond to correct them and that means so much to me. Fabby is a great manager as well. So professional and kind.

I love the atmosphere in this place. There is no overpowering music that keep us from conversating. Our waitress was very attentive and patient as we placed our order. The food portions were ample and tasted great! It has become a favorite place to have a great meal!

Super Bowl Sunday. Picked up order. Missing Mozzarella sticks & Onion rings and had the wrong flavored wings - too hot. Called. Manager Jennifer said replacements would be ready in 15 minutes. Got there. No one knew why I was there and they hadnt started the food. Waited for over half an hour. Bonded with Door Dash drivers whose orders were messed up or lost. Got handed somebody elses food. Eventually they brought out mozzarella sticks and onion wrings, but ribs instead of the 20 wings. Good thing I insisted on checking. Asked about the wings. Gal said "he told me 10 wing." Guess she realized she had the receipt becaus she took back the ribs, then came back with 10 wings, not 20, and said I might as well keep the ribs. She offerex to go get the other 10. Said they were ready but Id already missed the entire 2nd quarter & half the half time show, and the foid I did have was getting cold so I said close enough and left. She did apologize saying her kitchen was short handed. Wierd. The didnt have a single dine in customer come in while I was there and most of their tables were empty.

Car side to go is always HORRIBLE. I kept delaying my review in hopes it would get better and giving them every excuse possible (short staffed, covid, rush hour, whateverbut I’m done. Scheduled a pickup for 4:30pm. Way before dinner rush hour. I hot there at 4:25pm. Let them know I was there and crickets…. After calling their phone and receiving no live person I finally I walked in at 4:45pm to see me order just sitting there cold and stale. There was no one else that came through the car side to go and it was dead inside. And when I finally got my order they didn’t even get it right at that. I’m done. I only gave them 2 stars because if you eat inside the food is decent but the staff…. Not so much…. If you are going to pay more than fast food prices for pick up go ANYWHERE but here.

I had a steak and for Applebees it was VERY good. My perfect margarita was delightful as well. My only complaint is didnt get my $4 and some change salad BEFORE my meal. The server took it off however I was looking forward to it. Overall it was really good.

Awesome waitress cook and floor manager. All took care of our needs. Waitress was superb and the manager made sure to speak with us and hats off to the cook the food was seasoned well and piping hot. Awesome experience.

We had about a 30 minute wait but expected this with all the holiday shopping and being on a Saturday. We have never said anything bad about the ribs until now. Hardly any meat on them. My husband said he felt like he just had a workout trying to find meat. lol. I also received a free dessert for my birthday. I think it was the best dessert ever. So yeah I enjoyed my dessert but ribs not so much this time. Our waitress was wonderful.

I ordered the Mac and cheese with chicken tenders on top. What I got was 3 pretty tasty tenders but pasta noodles and a watery alfredo sauce. But hey, at least there was no hair in my food. Im pretty sure Ill be eating here again.

What in the world is wrong with this location?!? The one on Washington Road doesn’t have these issues. Ordered twice from Uber Eats. First time they didn’t send the whole order and told us to come get it if we wanted it all. They had no control over the driver not getting the entire order. The bag wasn’t labeled for anyone to have known those other two bags needed to come with the order. Needless to say after todays order it’s NOT Uber. It’s this location. Ordered chicken Alfredo without broccoli 🥦, they sent over a damn mountain of it mixed into both orders. Happy Birthday to me! 🙄🙄 The mozzarella cheese sticks were cold, they didn’t include the extra sauce as ordered for the Alfredo or the extra marinara sauce. Unless the location on Washington Road does Uber eats again, won’t be ordering or visiting this location. Read the damn order people! Is it really that hard?!?

Truly Disappointed!!Im writing to you from inside the restaurant because I feel this needs to be reviewed ASAP.Let me begin by saying that our family of 5 arrived hungry and ready to enjoy our meal.The food quality wasGarbage at best! (unless you have low food standards)Appetizers- (SimpleChips and artichoke dip n salsa.The chips were greasy, shiny and dripping with grease. They were only a few complete chips, the rest were broken and not dip worthy.Lunch:Whiskey burger with onion rings.Unfortunately, my server did not ask me how I like my burger meat. (2nd strike)The burger came back overdone and wet.The bun was soggy and wet and truly distasteful.I was inclined to send this back and express my disappointment.Again, my server had a chance to redeem herself and she didnt.At the end of our meal, I spoke to the manager she apologized and that was all.While I was talking she looked at her watch as if she had to go. She apologies and then turn her body as if she was going to walk away, I asked for the cooperate number and she came back with her general number.Cooperate needs to retrain the servers, the managerial staff (to deal with dissatisfied customersand rehire a new cooking staff!Do yourself a favor and drive about 5min further and go to Chillies! They dont disappoint.I am amazed how this location has a 4 star rating.I rate this place - "Unworthy" for my hard end money. Dont waste your time.

Pretty good Applebees.There was some water on the seat next to me on the bar I wish someone would have cleaned up at some point, but it was fine.Food was hot and tasted good.Spinach dip was a good call here.

My husband brought me here for dinner. He ordered his steak, "Rare", it came back med- well done! He did say it was a good cut of beef, though and tasted good so he didnt send it back. I had a mixed drink, two as a matter of fact, but I swear there was no rum in either one ( Im not really a drinker so should have felt the effect of TWO drinks, nopeMy salad was good. Their taco salsa tasted like chili sauce not salsa. Service was good except when the waiter asked if I wanted another drink I said, "No, Im good" yet he brought another (weakone which was NOT worth the money we paid for it. No wonder the bar was empty, they are stingy with their liquor.

Had a good time here. I got the ribs platter and it was good, as usual. I was surprised by the boneless wings. Ive never had those before and they were really good. I would stay away from the flavored lemonades, they are too sweet.

Had a great lunch today. What really made it great was the service we received from Taylor G. Polite, courteous and prompt. Checked in on us often. My order was messed up, she noticed it before I did and fixed it right away. Had she not said something I probably would have overlooked it. But she was quick to have it fixed. Her service will be the reason I go back. Well done!

Wait time for seating was minimal but the time waiting on our food was less to be desired especially with a toddler in tow. However our waitress, Danasya, was a pleasure. She knew her job, was friendly and made us feel at home. Overall a pleasant experience.

Service was great and timely! I ordered carry out, Blue Ribbon Brownie and it was absolutely delicious! If you want a single desert of brownie, nuts, and ice cream- this is definitely the way to go.

I have had some people tell me how terrible this location was, but I have had 3 good visits so far.I don’t know what people expect, it’s good food at a very fair price. When one of my party’s orders was messed up the manager fixed it. Problem solved.I will be coming back again soon.

All-in-all a good place to take the family. The restaurant is clean and the staff is friendly. There was something off with the American classic burger today, and our server, Emily, didnt know the child menu included an option for one little burger as opposed to the more expesive two burger option, but those are more nit-picky things than real issues. Applebees remains a decent value for a family outing, though it is really more aimed at small parties of sports fans and the happy hour crowd.
