Applebee's Grill + Bar in Rogers

I put in an order online to pick up for my fiancé and Is 5th anniversary dinner since applebees is where we had our first date. We travel full-time and every big chain restaurant we go to here (NW Arkansasis horrible, Applebees included. I put my order in at 3:30 for pickup at 5:30, I followed instructions on the website to let them know how far away I was and all that thinking it would be quicker to pick up. When I got there, I could see inside that there were only 3-4 tables, used their online website to let them know I was there. Waited 10 minutes before calling only to be hung up on. And I could see the girl inside, hang up the phone, with no attempt to actually answer. So I called immediately after and another girl answered and she said that they were putting the last few items in the bag. So I waited 5 more minutes until the other two carside pickup spots also had people waiting. Saw a girl inside answer the phone, and sure enough the lady in the pickup spot next to me was also calling. Thankfully, as the first there I was also the first to receive my food, and I checked to see how warm it was. The bag and food containers were cold like it had been sitting there since 3:30. When I got home, they COMPLETELY forgot the fries to the burger, all the food was not only cold but hard too. I even got a dessert since it was a special occasion. I got the brownie slice and scoop of ice cream. The brownie was the size of a quarter, and there was only a tablespoon of ice cream. When we went to eat the dessert it was rock hard, we refused to eat it thinking there had to be something wrong with it. It was obvious that they do not care about the to go orders thinking youll get home and not want to drive back and complain. Reading other reviews, it seems like the actual service inside isnt great either. Absolutely horrible, would give no stars, but my meal was edible (just edible), and the lady who handed me my food was nice. Thats the only good thing.

Restaurant was clean the waiter was very attentive and had an amazing sense of humor. The manager was very in tune with his staff members greeted every customer very courteous and assisted with his staff and diners needs.

Usually we love Applebees, wherever we go. Tonight the food was great, as we expected, but the service was horrible. The wait staff were huddled together forever, finally she came and took our order. No smile, no friendly service, just took our order and went back to the employee huddle. She was on her cell phone several times. Only came back to our table when she noticed we werent finishing our food(we just werent that hungry, the food was fine). She whats wrong, we said the food was fine were just werent hungry, she laid our ticket down and walked away. Were not from here but we wouldnt come back to this location even if we were.

Google says they close at 11, big sign out front says they have specials that start at 9pm, got here at 9:40 and all the doors are locked. Guess I wont come to Applebees anymore.

John is a phenomenal server. He is very attentive, personable, friendly, polite, and customer focused. You wont be disappointed with his service! Food was really good too.

The place was really quiet when I entered and I was seated immediately. My server was quick to come over and take my drinks and eventually my meal order. The food came out within 5 minutes of placing the order. Now, I wouldnt normally complain, but it had me wondering what was freshly prepared, if anything. I ordered the grilled chicken, broccoli and garlic mashed potatoes. The mashed potatoes were luke warm, the broccoli was a tab bit warmer, and the chicken was good. I could have waited a couple of minutes for really hot food. I was offered dessert 5 minutes after starting to eat my meal. I had to go back to the menu and select something. Dessert came out as soon as I finished with the check. I understand efficiency, but I felt a bit rushed. I was in and out in what felt like 20 minutes. I ate but didnt get to enjoy my dining experience. Pump the brakes a little and let your guests enjoy their meals. There wasnt rush for my seat as the place was pretty dead.

Overall satisfied. The food doesnt taste great but its not bad either. Its just average. I am giving it four stars because prices are pretty good for the amount of food I got.

Lot of burnt smell in the food. But the dessert is delicious.

A Great place to go if youre hungry but dont want to be around a lot of people! Service is great, food is always delicious ( especially the artichoke dip ☺️👌)If you like it and decide to become a regular, leave a good tip, they will really appreciate it and weve met some amazing people we look forward to seeing when heading to Applebees ♥️Yall are wonderful

Not a great experience. I ordered the endless boneless wings and fries my first plate was great but my waitress did not come back to ask me what I wanted for my second round like she said she would I was done with my first plate still waiting for her to come back. When I finally got to place my second order it was a long wait and then they did not give me my fries i also did not get my coleslaw on either plates. My smoothie had ice in it that was not crushed. The waitress was very unfriendly.My partner got the chicken and shrimp and it was such a tiny portion for the price.Would not come back again

Walked in at 9:40 and was told they were locking up and we couldn’t be sat. Their clock read 9:54 and online says they close at 11pm and when we called to talk to someone the same guy answered and when we asked to speak to a manager we heard him say “we got complainers”

Worst dining experience I have ever had took forever to get the second helping of wing than we waited over 30 minutes to get our ticket. Dont recommend going to this place at all . Asked to see a manager and the hostess wouldnt get one . I give them a negative 100 on a scale of 1 to 10

The food seems to be going up in price but down in portion...hmm, is there a trend going on here? Maybe quit spending all your money on lifesize Dwayne Johnson standups in your lobby and invest more in your staff and food quality. Oh and train your staff to let people know theres an upcharge when asked if you can make a pasta spicey. "Why yes we can and that will be $.00 more is that alright?" Running a restaurant is simple science and one would think a company that has been around as long Applebees has, would have it down by now. Just practice good tasting food at a good price with good service. Dont blame your challenges on being understaffed because everyone here in NWA suffers from an unmotivated workforce. And if you are understaffed then maybe invest in better leaders that work the floor vs sitting in the back office, treat your people better and pay them more. This ABs has a lot to work on, hope their GM is up to the task.

Got served fast and waited on fast food was good and hot my chicken and shrimp was a bit dry but still good the artichoke dip was good chips were very salty.

We love the food the waiter was nice he done everything we asked him to do

Great food and service compared to its Springdale counterpart. If you want Applebees this is the location to go to.

Wonderful staff, good food! Prices have went up but not by much. It used to be 2 for 22 or 2 for 24. Now its 25 or 29$. You still get good amounts though. Thier oriental salad; I usually get grilled chicken not fried,but either way is good, is fantastic!

We have been going to Applebeefor several years now. We always go when our FAVORITE waiter, John is working. He is friendly, extremely helpful if youre not sure what to eat. He pays great attention to the details of your meal and checks back frequently during the meal. Soooo many yummy choices and 2-for meals on the back of the menu. All the food is excellent and cooked to your specific order. Best waiter in the business!! Check them out, you wont be sorry you did! 😉.

Food was great, service was super! Crysline was our server and she was top notch.

Server was slow, food was decent. The manager on duty was on top things though, it was a decent night out.

During all those moments when I go to Applebee’s, I always have a chicken tenders basket. And my dessert from Applebee’s is always a brownie. And from my experience, I noticed that Applebee’s is on the list of places that have the best French fries, the places that have the best ranch dressing and the places that have the best brownies.

Way overpriced for what you get. Service is ok, but understaffed. Margarita tasted like water. I feel like this place is going downhill.

Food was good but our server was not pleasant and didnt check back on us to see if everything was ok or if we needed anything else. I was a server so I am fully aware of the job.

Lunch on a Tuesday was great here. Service was quick and experienced. Had grilled salmon that was small but very delicious - and wild caught. I recommend but dont expect to get out of here on a lunch for 4 without dropping between $60-$80

Service is usually always observant and friendly.Food is usually the right temperature and quality good for the brand level.The restaurant could use an update and is usually not busy.

After we got seated it took over 10 minutes to get drinks, timed it on our phones and they were not diffecult decaf coffee ad flavored lomenade, they then took our order and it seemed to take forever 25 minutes, when they did bring our order half the food was barley warm so had to send it back, when they brought it back it was just hot the cheese on the 4 cheese mac was not all melted but was hot barley.When they brought the mac asked for refills on or drinks, they said would have to make coffee ok but 30 minutes later still no refills. Sooo what are we susposed to do we just paid our bill and left.After being stuck in the house 5 days because of weather I picked you to go have a meal big mistake. So what you going to do to fix this issue

Went back after a couple of years thinking well it might have gotten better. Nope. Food was cold well, not frozen but room temperature, chicken fingers tasted like nothing. This is not a place to spend your money. Sorry but you guys can do better

Prices have gone up and are very not worth the price. Price when up and you get less food. Totally not worth it for their customers. Save yourself some time and money. There are better quality place to eat in the area which will give you more for your money and serve you better food.

Took 40 mins to get our drinks. Parent’s order came out 20 mins before kids ever got their chicken and fry’s🤦🏻‍♀️ No refill until asked and was told after I take this tables order by the time we got them the we were done eating mind you there were only 4 other tables in the whole restaurant. Spent a total of 3 hours there.🤦🏻‍♀️ Food was bland and mediocre. Service was by far the worst I’ve had at any restaurant in a very long time.

Im never one to leave bad reviews, but you come to a place that for one you are NOT getting free food its service that is paid for. Ive worked in the food industry myself and I could never provide such horrible service to my customers. One the food felt cold, we werent even attended for refills and did not recieve our full order to the table, we asked about our missing dish and for one it says the restaurant closes at 11pm and yet felt like we were a heavy load on the server to help my table out?? Im sorry but I earn my money I dont get my money for free... If you are having a bad day tough it out and deal with it on your personal time.. its not your customers problem. I had a long day of work looking to have a good dinner and it was horrible. Definitely not the same service of previous years. I can definitely claim Discrimination and they have camaras so they can compare the times the server walk passed out table to the other customers tables which is not the customers fault at all. They need better quality servers and better training

The waitress started off great, then things went down hill. She took our drink order and she brought our drinks. Then we were asked if we were ready to order, we placed our order and she said that she would be back with some more drinks.All of the customers around us were being taken care of. We never got our drinks refilled, after what seemed an hour we finally got to leave. I asked for the manager on duty at the time, I explained what had happened and I told him that we were leaving. We have been to this location several times, this was by far the worst visit ever. I know for us, we wont be back any time soon.

I want to change my review. Today 9/17/2021 me and my family came to dinner and I have to say the your lady that waited on us was top notch. She deserves a raise truly. We watched her hustle and she didnt miss a step. Amazing service tonight and wonderful food this time. A++ in my books.

Great team here. The food came promptly and my order was right. The dining area and parking lot were clean and nice. The bathroom was tidy and properly stocked. My food was delicious. Service was courteous and my server knew the menu. Nearby was a table where language was an impediment. The server brought the manager who spoke fluently with the customers. Every effort was made to ensure good experiences for all.

We went on fourth of July. An hour Before they closed and they already had all the chairs up on the tables and no one really wanted to seat us. There was like 3 other customers in there. Our waitress was nice though. But my noodles to my fettuccine were very mushy. You could tell they kept in warm water all day and werent busy enough to make new

Our first clue of not coming here should have been the 3 cars in the parking lot compared to Chili’s a block away with the parking lot overflowing. The service was good, our waitress was very nice and we were well attended. However, the food was a different story. I ordered the 4 cheese Mac and Cheese with the glazed chicken tenders. It was bland, the noodles hard and the chicken strips had no glaze to them whatsoever. My husband’s said his endless Buffalo wings were ok. This place seemed dingy and dirty, certainly not worth the $30.

Seated promptly by a friendly server. Salads were served within 4 minutes. Main entrees were served before we could finish eating the salads. All the food was good. The steak was cooked exactly at medium as requested. Good experience.

I wanted to rate my experience as 3 star but dessert - sizzilin apple caramel blonde earned an extra star.We visited restaurant for lunch on wkend and choose 2 for $22 (Two Entrees + One Appetizeroption. We ordered Spinach and artichoke dip as Appetizer and Bourbon st Chicken & Shrimp and Fiesta Lime chicken as entrees. Chicken in Bourbon st Chicken & Shrimp was over grilled and almost burned, i left out half of it in plate. Lime fiesta chicken was ok. Dessert was really good and thats why Im giving 4 star else it would had been a 3-star rating. And yes, not the friendly staff.

Applebees NEVER disappoints. Great food and service no matter which one you go to

It wasnt awesome but it was very good. I had one of their new bowls and it was very satisfying and well made... and for less than 10 bucks I had a great lunch! Def will go back for it. Staff did a great job.

I have been to several Applebee’s. This is a very nice location to eat at. They have curbside delivery, which is a great option if you need grab something to bring home. Their customer service is extremely proficient. I had an order issue, and the manager handled it with grace and poise. Very happy with the service we received.

Okay, I have dined here with family and friends many times. The food has always been served fairly quick and the orders have been correct. For the food, I would give it four stars, because the food was great, but I wouldnt say it was anything super special. Im rating it five stars, however, due to the immaculate customer service from the staff! There was a particular waitress that went above and beyond, and unfortunately I didnt get her name last time. When I do, I will edit my review in case anyone would like to know to ask for her. For the food, I would like to recommend their chicken wonton tacos for an appetizer, the whiskey bacon burger for the entree, and any of their teas available for a drink. Its a ni e atmosphere inside!

I had a good time here today. The food was really good, the drinks were good and our waitress Tammy was a nice lady and an adequate server. Thank you! Oh yeah, I had the whiskey bacon burger and I also had the perfect margarita and a top shelf Long island.

Staff and food were on point. Each time I come in for lunch they have been great. Returned for lunch today irritated about a work issue. The server John instantly changed my mood for the better. Food and service is always above the normal "chain" restaurants.

First time and last for me here...I ordered an 8oz steak, but what came out of the kitchen looked nothing like what was on the menu! See picture as to what really came out.The wedges and chicken strips made McDonalds food seem gourmet.The staff did not seem happy either. Every time see came around see looked annoyed. Only reason recovering 2 stars is because I did fall in love with the spinach and artichoke dip!
