Apple Samgyupsal / 苹果三层肉 (Puchong) in Puch'on

Not worth money. We ordered a set and unlimited pork neck for each person. A small eater like me also couldnt feel really full. although there was someone there to grill for us, but I rather do it on my own because he is working so slow and only grill that two small pieces of meat on that big griller at one time. Besides, there is only one small pot given for 10 of us to cook ramen. So for those who are going in a group, I recommend u to take a fewfesmall small sets instead of a big set.After all, I rather use the money I spent (RM 48here to eat a buffet.For those who go for budget eating, mind you there is 16% of service charges.

Nice food

Checked in here recently with family. The Rm12 per pax for unlimited Hanjungsal was undeniably inadequate and lamentable. Before anything else, the 2 stars review was ascribable towards the servings of Hanjungsal. This was due to the fact that not only the quantity of the meat was decreasing plate after plate, but the size of the meat began to be smaller and notably, the ratio of fat to meat was 2:1. Furthermore, the coal burns out quickly and the staff had to change it after each serving of Hanjungsal. Mind you, each serving had at the most 2 pieces of meat with only 8 by 6 centimeters long. In addition to that statement, we had to wait 8-12 minutes before the grillers cooked each serving of Hanjungsal. (Was it done on purpose? The place had only a few tables packed and there were at a conservative estimate 7 staffs on dutyLast but not least, at least 20 minutes had to be taken to fully cook the meat, so my family and I had to wait a total of around 30 minutes before we could partake in our meal.

BAD EXPERIENCE! One of the worst korean restaurant Ive ever been to. Unauthentic food, bad variety, poor menu with only Korean and Chinese names, food has no description or whatsoever. Ive been to many korean restaurant enough to know what the food is like, even without description, but for first-timer, elderly or people who dont read Mandarin or Korean (obviouslywouldnt know what to order. Portion is okay, but side dishes are bad, unauthentic kimchi, and you need to order TWO SETS of barbecue set to enjoy their "freeflow" of side dishes, which I didnt go for, and luckily I did not. Because their side dishes just not worth being "freeflow" at all. Overall bad experience, this is just an example of overrated but in fact unauthentic Korean barbecue restaurant. First try is fine, but will definitely not come back.

I have to give this place 5 stars not because its best Korean style pork bbq but because the service was good and staffs were friendly. U may find roaches on the way out, thats a down side. U cant find apple-pork anywhere in Korea but u can try. I like their pork without apple.

Foods are ok but service was bad. They dont ask if you to refill side dish and you have to request everytime you need. Even they notice it and still wont ask if you want refill. As the waitress will cook for you and they usually cook everything one short. Question is how are you going to eat at one go? End up foods are cold and dry especially pork if you dont eat when it is hot. Btw, worst ever kimchi tasted here. It is either over due or over marinated. Not recommended for Korean BBQ lover.

Decent place for a meal

Worst Korean Restaurant in the whole Puchong. Period. Never once Ive been to a Korean BBQ restaurant that never serve water. Staff dont understand English well. RM5 white rice are half overcooked. Meat big chunk as hell. Food are all tasteless. Side dishes so little also. Already a hot day, and air-cond is not even cold. Empty restaurant, but still want to burn the hot BBQ beside us. Tip: All other restaurant cook the BBQ on another table if theres space to avoid the heat and smoke on customers. Outside decorate like 5 stars, but inside feels like a canteen.

Food was nice. But under staff. No one attended. Hv to cook myself , but actually i dunno how to cook the meat...feel so lost n not worth paying high price.

Fabulous Korean Crusine. Something taste different when I put the meat in my mouth... taste of apple. Worth the try cause it is sweet and apple flavoured. Delicious off course, for anything that is sweet.But this time, the apple taste really permeates into my mouth as I take the meat. And the apple slice that is use to wrap with it, is something different to be experienced.If you are not able to cook the meat to its best, it is better to request for assistance. This service is offer upon request (meaning the staff are trained to do the cooking). In my opinion, doing it yourself might just not get it done as well as required.

It is something different compared to other Korean restaurant. This is because it fuse apple with meat, salad, etc. Definitely a place to recommend to try something new and would be coming here more often

compare to taman desa branch their staff is not smart and efficient and very rough action.When they helped me clean up the stove, the ash fell on the meat, and didn’t would help me change it.

Value for money. Pork marinated with apple, cooked with apple wood. Apple juice rice wine. So its all about the apples. Highly recommended. Price is reasonable, fast n attentive staffs.

Overall is normal Korean BBQ, specialty is the apple wraps. The Korean instant noodle is very springy, better than Shin Ramen.

Food taste so so . Free flow of banchans. Price wise i guess at par with other korran bbq in town but its really of nothing special. However banchan are good esp seaweed and fish cake. Its a one time visit as its not attractive enough for a return.

Unreasonable prices with the portion they give you, free flow apple sauce. 6pcs apple slice without refill, all the other side food can refill, at the menu choices said u get free ramyun when u order set meal, but when we take ramyun they said not include in our set😠..

Unique experience as this is the first time I tried the apple with pork. Service is good and environment is good.

Something new and interesting with apple theme. Three types of pork meats and sausage , best is the pork belly . Veggie and salad are fresh . Veggie and Apple slices wrap with assorted veggie and meats

I would say this is the best BBQ yet in Puchong Ive visited, if your going there please order the signature apple samyuksal you wont regret and along with my favorite apple makgeolli. 👍
