Apple Orchard RV Park - Campsite in West Kelowna, Canada
Greedy audacious pricing wow
Reserve with extreme caution !! Would never stay here again! Booked and paid for site on line, received confirmation. Arrived at location and site was occupied by another RV! Made repeated attempts to contact owners via phone but unable to leave message, full voice mailbox! No replies to Email, even several weeks later! Wish I would have heeded other reviews who had similar experiences and reserved elsewhere. Not only did we have to find another campground, but now have to deal with CC company for refund, there are better places to stay!
这个营地还不错,之前看网上说没人接电话,位置被占等吓我一跳,到了之后发现owner夫妻两个长期都在。设施也都齐全,个人认为不错👍景色宜人
I like it, very small in the middle of wineries, pretty close to everything
Booked a spot July 30th, for July 31, 3022. Arrived and the spot is occupied by someone who arrived days earlier. Now, I’m out over $80.00. No response to emergency phone. No way to get ahold of anyone.Don’t stay here, you have no way of knowing if they will go or your booking or if you will end up at a truck stop in 37 degree weather with no power or A/C. This is our reality tonight with 2 dogs. Their booking software needs to be corrected or replaced.I am not the first person this has happened to either.
Booked over the internet, arrived and pulled into site. Noticed the plug was 50 amp and needed an adapter. Had zero response from anyone to get us a adapter that is advertised in their website. Email bounced, voice mail no response. Consequently we paid top dollar for a site without access to power. No staff present. Will see if they refund us, by leaving this review. Did tasting at distillery but decided not to buy some spirits, as we left the next day, given our experience in campground.
Nice and quiet place.Washrooms were not serviced during our 3 day stay and we did not see any staff. Special adapter needed for electricity, not available for everyone.
Easy to get to, beautiful views of the orchard. The check-in process was easy peasy, greeted by the very nice owner on arrival, and best of all the dogs may run free on the orchard property. Will definitely come again.
Just a wonderful place to spend the summer. It’s quiet and comfortable and the staff makes every effort to ensure the facilities are clean and well maintained.
Great location.
We booked online 2 months ago. When we phoned to let them know we were arriving late. Phone not in service. We get there and there is someone in the spot we specifically booked. Internet was down.Toilets were not in order. We listened to an alarm go off constantly for 2 days which was from an RV that was being stored on the property. A young lady from the Distillery came over to give us samples. We stayed here before and it was great. The money is obviously going into the Distillery, not the campsite. We stayed here a few years ago and it was much better.
Careful! This place is a scam. Booked over the website and was charged. We got to the campsite. Spot was occupied. Office closed. Voicemail Full. Kept calling over 2 week. No refund. Over 2 months...credit card charged again. So now we have to call the bank for the second time. Dont expect a response. Believe this place is operating as a scam front.
Small park, but fully serviced. Forbidden Spirits Distillery located on site and tasting room and patio are open
Looks amazing
Not all RV parks are created equal. This one is exceptional!! It’s small and set in a gorgeous valley with an apple orchard on none side and a distillery on the other! What’s not to like about that! Very nicely maintained and nice bathrooms with great free showers! Highly recommended!
Nice clean small RV park in a great location in the hills above Kelowna with horse ranches, wineries and orchards nearby. The people running the park, Cheryl and Pete, were very helpful. We didnt really like the city of Kelowna or the wines that much but if we came back, wed love to stay at the Apple Orchard RV Park!
Sehr ruhig, freundlicher Empfang, Dusche und WC sehr sauber. Wer dem Rummel entfliehen will ist auf diesem Kleinod richtig.
Cheryl is absolutely wonderful. She got me a reservation last minute on a long weekend and was so kind in the process. She was even waiting for me at 9pm when I got there to check me in. I had an issue getting my car off my dolly and her husband was so helpful. The place is gorgeous and quiet. The bathroom are spectacular as well. I would definitely recommend to anyone!!
Quiet and peaceful campground, easy check in. Cheryl is very helpful over the phone. Bathrooms are clean - showers could use a more durable shower curtain so the water doesnt splash everywhere. Other than that, it only holds about 10 campers so its great for kids to ride around the sites.
No trees
We stayed over for 2 nights at the Apple Orchard RV park as part of a 3 week RV tour of British Columbia and Alberta, and this site was easily among our favorites. The RV sites easily accommodate larger RVs, have full hookups and nearby Washrooms and Laundry. The Owners went above and beyond and were exceptionally accommodating, friendly and approachable, and even offered to let us borrow their bikes so we could explore the area. Many Wine tours offer pickup and drop off services to this location, and there is even a brand new distillery next door, as well as wineries and cider brewerys in walking distance. We loved our stay here!
I cant say enough good things about our stay at this park. We were there for over a month. The park is very quiet especially at night. There are great views. The 10 pull through sites are all large and pretty level. They all have 50 amp services. The washrooms and laundry area are cleaned daily. Lots of grass between sites. Plenty of room for pullouts, awnings etc. There was a large field where our dogs could run each day for exercise. Staff was always helpful and accommodating.
Just visiting. Limited amenities and water issues
Schöne Lage. Etwas außerhalb von Kelowna, aber umgeben von Obstwiesen. Sehr nettes Management. Haben unsere gesamte Weiterreise geplant ;-Gute Tipps, wohin man abends essen gehen kann.Allerdings: full hook-up nicht ganz so preiswert(58,--CAD/Nacht.).Sanitärbereich dafür picobello sauber.Nette andere Gäste auf dem Platz. Kaum Dauercamper.Guter Platz.
Such a quiet peaceful place. Nice folks, good level pull thru sites. Our favourite rv park in kelowna,.
Wonderful people. Wonderful spot
Closing for the winter. Boo
There are eight well kept lots in a row. Not much else. Location was easy to get to. Definitely needed the supplied power adapter. Never saw or spoke to the managers in our 3 days here. Reserved thru the website which was convenient yet had improper terms leading to us booking and being charged for an extra day. We called and left a message which was unreturned but they did refund the extra day with email notification a day later. Also nothing for children here. All in all we would stay again, we just expected a more service with a smile experience like most other places.
Sorry to anyone who was not treated well by previous managers or staff of this park. The last year has been really good with the new team here. Hope to see any new faces and excited to see the ones from last year returning. :we have also recently upgraded our wifi to fiber internet.
Drinking Water isnt clear , washroom kept poorly , wifi is spotty depending on site very dusty.
This is a great place to stay, its clean and quiet and your parking space is very large, its not cramped like the other one we stayed at on Lakeshore Dr. We had unfortunate circumstances that landed my husband in the Kelowna Hospital for a week June 2017. Ryan was so nice and let us stay in our spot for an extra week at a greatly reduced priced. We will stay at Apple Orchard again, they are the BEST!. Thank you again Ryan, hope to be back next summer😎
Very disappointed. No shade. No campfire pits. 2 washrooms for the entire site. Horrible service. Really mad at ourselves for making a reservation there. The website was so promising. No stars
Very nice and clean place. Friendly peoples. Full hookup site on level. Pet accepted. The only little thing is their 2016 rates indicate $50.00 a night for June/July and I was charged $59.00. They should modify their advertised rate on their web page.
This place is clearly not recommendable for any kind of camping vans or small rv. Our Dodge Grand Caravan were we slept in on our road trip was charged as a big motorhome. no adjustments also after an request from my side. So we paid more than double the price of a tent. We just stayed there for one night. They couldnt wait till we awake to leave an envelope with the receipt. Additionally the place is still under construction and there is no one available on person after 8 pm
Nice location. Quiet. Had the worst possible experience with the managers/owners. They "forgot" about a reservation and proceeded to take it upon themselves to remove our tent and belongings from our site, drag them through the parking lot into the field. No phone call, no heads up of any kind. Overcharged me for an extra vehicle that I dont have, 2 bathrooms on site one of which the door remained locked for the first week we were there, the other bathroom didnt have working lights. Neglected to tell us that there are sprinklers in the grass area, not a great thing to wake up to a sprinkler going off underneath you tent. Finally after removing my tent from a site that I had booked for a week, they refused to refund their overcharge, hung up on my girlfriend twice after refusing to let her speak, threatened to call the police and wouldnt return any of our phone calls. And after all of that, there was another site available for the week, so instead of putting their forgotten reservation, or even us for that matter, in that site, all of this mess happened. WILL NOT be returning. And I would let any RVer or tenter that I know to not spend your money at this place. I have never talked or dealt with ruder people my entire life.I just spent the last 6 months overlanding through North and Central America and never once got treated like this. Never thought it would happen in my own great country of Canada, were supposed to be a nice people.Do not spend your money here.
