Apple Bar & Pub - Bar in Sandakan, Malaysia
Came here as what I needed was out of stock in my local stores. Very busy store but did not have to wait long to be served. Customer service was excellent.
Really helpful staffCrowded store and yet they still have the ability to assist all customersZak was super nice
A great way to narrow down your selection of the Apple landscape
Got the phone quicker when there was a huge demand and it wasn’t available elsewhere
I’ve been traveling nearly 5 years and have been to many apple stores in many countries. i purchase about 20 apple products a year for myself, friends, family and colleagues. This is the worst apple store i have bee to. The staff is so inconsiderate that Apple might lose out on $5,000 in purchases. I have never been so frustrated in an apple store before in my life. I’ve also never been so disappointed in apple staffing. People should not be working at retail stores when they are not prepared to recognizes customers that are ready to pay.
Store was over capacity of customers and on top of this had a lot of floor staff huddled together chatting in the corners of the shop floor. When staff were approached to ask about products they didnt know if the items were stocked, or if they even existed. Instead of the staff wanting to help and take us around the store they pointed upstairs and said check up there and proceeded to speak to their colleagues.Whilst trying to swiftly leave the store due to the unbearable capacity of customers, one of the employees was removing a screen protector and swiped his arm back to impress the customers he was serving, however he was inches away from hitting me in my chest and potentially causing me an injury. We left without purchasing the products we needed, the staff were unknowledgeable and unwilling to help, the layout and function of the store is not keeping up with the demands
The managers are very good and go out of the way to help you but some salesmen are ill informed and not up to the task and wont bother getting their facts corrected either. Its a vast store. Too many people and a very very chaotic queuing system. Please get this sorted. Security is a bit in your face but I believe you need them to be as I saw some real weirdos in the store jumping in front of imacs and a 30 year old watching cartoons and dancing. Great humble staff ( welcome to england - genuinely humble ). Great experience so far
ABSOLUTE DISASTERI entered the store to buy an iPhone, the sales associate was serving me and another person at the same time (despite having an APPOINTMENT). I understand that the store gets busy. Although the service is not personalised at all, managers are non-existing on the floor. In one sentence:Level of service in the Flagship of Apple isn’t any higher than in McDonalds.
The worst Apple Store in the world, for the first time I wasn’t allowed to be with my wife in the Genius Bar, the guy was so stupid with me. Im very disappointed with this.
I was served by a lovely Italian gentleman called Miko that reassured me of a gift I was buying and we had a great chat about the different apple watch options. Miko was very friendly and cheerful and I would definetly go back to the store if I need anything else. The store itself was quite busy which resulted in me waiting until 17:00 (half an hour past my appointmentbut I had nothing else planned so that wasnt an issue.
A beautiful store in the heart of London. We did a creative Today at Apple session using Procreate. I loved how the focus was on the drawing skills and that we got to visit Regency Park to practise our sketching skills.Ashley and Tom, you were great fun!One simply must try the Today at Apple sessions!I purchased a charger at the store and the experience was seamless - Apple Pay worked like a charm!I wish there was an Apple Store closer to me. One day…
Rude staff, disinterested in customer needs. And today they hit yet another low when an over zealous older woman staff (long white grey hair - avoid her, she is very arrogant and tries to make you feel like dirt on her shoeran after me shouting my name and treating me like a thief when I had already paid.My apologies go out to her though because I must have ruined her phantasy of coming home a celebrated apple heroine who lays her loyalty at apples feet and catching foreign national imaginary thieves.
Very well organised and brilliant store. Ordered new phone for pick up at 14:45 by 15:00 I was done! Great service and flagship store!
What a difference good service makes. After a terrible experience at the Covent Garden branch we were treated so well by Giorgio here at the Regent Street branch. Thank you for your in-depth knowledge and taking the time to make sure we were sorted with our new iPad.
Had a battery problem and visited the brach today. Kariim (hope I got his name rightwas very helpful and took care if the issue for me quickly. Many thanks to him.If you want to go for a service for your product, I advise you to to go around 10 am so you can be one of the first in the queue.
What a joke of a store you dont know were to line up to buy a item, its just all muddled and busy. The staff are not friendly at all, asked them for help, they said there busy..but saw them just mingling around in there group. The staff are a big problem there not approachable or friendly.Get some customer service lessons, they need to understand your working for Apple store, your not the owners of it.Never going into this Apple store again. One good thing came out from the trip, eventually got my new iphone.
Nice store and ambience give its 5 stars but the genius bar literally dont fix your machine....they basically do some fodder at the back then suggest to buy a new one 😅🤣
Went into the apple store needing a battery replacement and to get the charger port cleaned. I must say that I was extremely impressed with the level of professionalism in their service! They have a very well organised appointment system which allows them to really put their all into helping you at a good pace. They explain everything you need to know and are extremely helpful and friendly whilst doing so. They also helped me find the correct charger plug for my Apple Watch. I must say, that I’m very impressed with the level of service from this apple store and would highly recommend to anyone looking for repairs or to purchase.
Same experience over and over, apple store advisors or geniuses have very limited knowledge about products, dont know things beyond basic features and tell you they are new or their colleague knows more. Its actually funny. Guy on the airport selling apple products knew a lot more.
Assistants on the pickup orders seemed bored and not interested in providing the best experience for Apple customers. When I picked a new iPhone 13 Pro the lady kept chatting with her colleague while handling the bag. We werent expecting this level of service.
Staff too busy being high and mighty to address the commoners that enter the store. Security guards at the front are more on edge than an American G.I storming Normandy beach, it’s ridiculous. The store in Covent Garden is a little more humane, but this one should be avoided, especially since they removed the cinema.
Wow we just visited here for an inquiry about a new phone and their system but most things we love about it, Their staff response very good and yes one more best thing there so many demos so you can check and mejar meant about what exactly do you want
I’ve forgotten how arrogant and pretentious apple geniuses can be! When I asked if someone worked in the Apple store, ‘no, I’m wearing this for a joke’ - is not the response I expect. Missing a text message and being placed into another 30 min queue is so 1990s, and then saying they do not have the experts available to go into the store room to find & sell me a replacement airpod pro case is laughable. Well done Apple - sure the gloss and air of arrogance still works for most!
Amazing customer service experience. Being well informed helped me to save almost £300 on my purchase. A tall young blonde boy with glasses was assisting me. Sadly cant remember his name but he is amazing!
Very large Apple Store in Regents Street and has every recent Computer and mobile device including Laptops iPads and associated merchandise. The staff are friendly and knowledgeable just browse around these goodies😁
Great store, can be busy at times but staff are helpful. I was thinking of switching from Android to Apple and wanted to know how to transfer my music collection, they answered the question quickly and to my satisfaction.
Since the day that it first opened their doors on Regent’s Street, this Apple Store has been superb, offering great service, lovely staff and an outstanding Genius Bar.
As always, Apple Store is a very nice place to be and experience various tech. Large, bright, clean environment with helpful staff. There’s a large collection of accessories for iPhone and other Apple gadgets. Many demo zones where you can listen to music in AirPods Max or try new Macs and so on. Great job Apple 👏
As always, very helpful staff, knowledgeable and friendly. And lets be honest, who doesnt love an Apple Store? Worth a visit even if only for the architecture!
I had a lovely man named Chris help me choose the perfect mac book for work. He was very kind and spent a lot of time with me going through my options (and found the perfect product for me). He was a very good listener and a pleasure to purchase from, very patient, not pushy, just nice and very knowledgable. I wish everyone in retail were like Chris! Thanks, Christie
Apple used to be a brilliant company. I ordered a Studio Display they took my money and then told me it would be delivered in 7 weeks. I only get notification of delivery this PM saying the will deliver tomorrow. I am not going to be in and they will not change the delivery date.
Always busy but very helpful staff as usual. Friendly and polite. Sometimes you need to wait for your appointment and it gets frustrating but this is a common apple store condition.
Seems like the Apple Store outgrew its own practicality and functionality. Way too small, way too many people, not enough staff. The staff which is there is friendly but clearly overworked and bearly holding up due to all the stress and pressure. The lets grab a member of staff when someones free system is clearly not working. I suggest a 3 tier ticketing system instead:1. Im here to buy and need advice.2. Im here to browse and need some advice.3. I need technical support.I really wanted to buy a new laptop but the whole madness was putting me off. (Unrelated to the physical store, I got a specific phone appointment for someone to call me back to reset apple ID password scheduled two weeks away, which in itself is already a rather strange procedure to reset a password, but then no one called me at the given time and day. So I couldnt login to buy anything online either)
Cecil was very patient, fast and knowledgeable. The apple store was really busy that day, yet she gave me some good recommendations and I was able to buy my new phone with a nice case in less than 5 minutes. Letting me know about AppleCare got me interested, and I think I’ll go for it too. Wish you the best, Cecil! Thank you for the excellent customer service. 🧢
During the appointment at Genius bar yesterday, the staff who was helping with the check in was rude to my friend who had accompanied me to the store. The person said - ‘if everyone brought friends to the Genius Bar then imagine how crowded it will be. You can go downstairs and wait.’ To me he said - ‘you will get an opportunity to call your friend before your phone is taken in for repair.’I understand that the store wanted limited number of people at the Genius Bar but the same could have been conveyed in a polite manner.Customer service is the only thing that makes me loyal to a brand (been an Apple customer for the past 12 yearsunfortunately Apple has lost me as a customer after yesterday’s treatment.
I went in to buy a Homepod mini, transaction was quick and swift which I was really surprised as the store was fully packed. A young girl greeted me at the entrance so solid customer service there.
Beautiful store, amazing architecture. But a bit too busy! I had to wait a long time every time I went. Still my happy place though.
The Apple store itself is one of the main things that could put me off their products. The store doesnt feel like a store, it feels more like a stage where the staff are the performers. I didnt see a single checkout in the whole place, and there seemed to be more staff than customers hovering around. While this is a good thing if you require assistance, it quickly becomes unnerving if youre just wanting to browse. It was a very clean, well laid out store otherwise, and was easy to find what I wanted to look at.
Stood around for ten minutes, no one came to help me. No information written anywhere. Couldn’t find the laptop I wanted. Security outside makes it very unwelcoming. Bad experience in this lousy shop. Should be called Crapple Store.
Great service; typical of an Apple Store.I do miss, and perhaps prefer, the old design with the glass panelled staircase but otherwise a great store to get help with your devices, or just to chill.
Poor customer service. I had an appointment at 19:00 and was served at 20:00. When I spoke to a member of staff, he dismissed me and said he was a runner and it has nothing to do with him. When I did eventually speak to an Apple specialist, he told me he doesnt know what the problem with my phone is and that they cant help. So I waited for one hour for an Apple specialist to tell me they cant help me. I hear they call it the genius bar, a genius who doesnt even know why my iPhone isnt working. Well, isnt that great?
They had the accessories I needed, brought them up from the stock room quickly, let me take the product out of the packaging and try it with my device before I bought it. I was in and out within 5 minutes and the assistant was very pleasant and professional.
Very disappointed experience. The technicians at Genius Bar are unprofessional and impatient. For the damage of the Apple mobile phone case during installation, they will not be liable for the damage without a fundamental inspection, probably because the unit price of the product is not high. Their service really damages the image of the Apple brand.
Apple’s service is a joke. If their devices work, it’s great. If they don’t — no one can help you. Genius Bar is ridiculous. Their support is non-existent. Parts of my personal data was lost due to the fault of their tricky non-obvious services. Their team can’t do any more than you can do yourself just following some instructions on the internet. What a shame. If you’re an android owner and thinking about switching— DON’T DO IT!!! With other devices you have more freedom. Apple don’t care about their customers.
The worst apple store ever. They hire some punks in their Genius Bar as employees and even the manager. The purpose is that they do not want you to replace products with apple care. The employees and the manager are rude and talking nonsense all the time to achieve this purpose and this only happens in this particular store. It is totally a waste of time and it is not the kind of service should ever be provided by Apple.
Really impressed with the service, had my phone battery replaced and the staff was super friendly and got everything done for me the same day. They made sure I was happy with everything before I’ve left.Really pleasant experience.
Aftersales use to be sublime.. Things have changed since. My Mac was booked in, and sent over to Czech for repairs. (6 bloody weeks and a new screen)Once it arrived, there was a small dot on the screen. I went on holiday and only went back after 2 months to complain and ask for a solution...The genius told me that it was probably not them, and that they wont be able to do anything - even mentioned if I hit the screen somewhere (BE CAREFUL when they ask you this, as they are only trying to catch you out)Good thing is I documented the MacBook once I received it and had timestamped the date/time on my iPhone. They decided to then proceed with a free of charge repair and replace the screen.Have I not taken photos, I would have a faulty product back from their repair centre..Not good enough Apple... Thanks for not believing a customer that has spend tens of thousands at Apple.Use to be excellent, now, its very different..
Absolutely amazing store. The staff are 5 ⭐️. I went shopping with my grandsons and a member of staff came over and got them to join in the free classes in the store, whilst I was enquiring about products etc. We actually came back so that my youngest grandson could participate in one of the classes, he wanted to stay longer but we needed to leave
After a disastrous attempted spontaneous shopping trip to Bromley store I ordered 2 iPhones and some accessories online and selected Regent Street store to collect from since I would not go to Bromley store if you paid me.The positives - very easy to get in and collect, the staff are all polite.Unfortunately there are some negatives here - this was Christmas Eve and Regent Street was dead as was the store itself presumably due to the pandemic, but in-spite of this and my attempts to engage with the staff serving me, it was clear to me that all they wanted to do was serve me and get rid of me as soon as possible. I certainly did not leave there with the impression of being a valued customer who had just spend over £2000. As I said above the staff are polite but only for as long as they have to be.Due to my needing to use different payment methods I had made 3 separate transactions which bizarrely led to me being served by 3 separate staff members. Surely you could’ve somehow collated those 3 orders? However, the fact that I was served by 3 separate people as well as the greeter scanning the barcodes has led me to the firm opinion that the attitude and approach of the staff reflects on Apple themselves as an employer rather than the staff themselves. It was like being served by the same person in 3 different bodies.I absolutely love Apple devices and own a phone, watch, HomePod and airpod pro but I think that because it is such an excellent product this has led to an arrogant approach in the stores like they know they don’t have to try very hard because the product is as good as it is.I had never visited an Apple store in person before this week and have visited 2 this week and will definitely not be in a hurry to do so again. From now on I’ll be ordering online via Amazon or John Lewis
Hands down the most beautiful Apple store I have ever visited. From the entrance to the store all the way back to how the headphones are organized on the second level. This store is a mastery of the retail space. Staff was by far the most delightful I have ever experienced at an Apple store as well.
