Great place for food and drinks! Super small place, seats about 20 people max. Has such an intimate aesthetic for a date night. They can make any drinks and I highly recommend the lamb chops.

I love the creativity of the drinks as well as the presentation. The Bee to a Tea had a piece of rosemary in it that had been lit on fire. It arrived still smoldering a bit. Very cool. Yummy drink and great service.

I really really wanted to like this place, especially since I love finding new and interesting speakeasies. The cocktails were okay. I surprisingly had better at the Coinop down the street.What really just ended the evening there was when I had asked the bartender for his recommendation on a “Sweet, girly drink”. This was my first time here and was not familiar with the menu.You would have thought I made a purposeful and offensive comment with his reaction based on his facial expression. He then stated, “People come here to actually taste the alcohol, people like myself”- didn’t even give a recommendation and walked away.I asked for the check then and knew the vibe had been killed.The pork belly was good, but will not be returning based on the poor treatment from the bartender.

Boy, does it pain me to write this review. I had looked forward to visiting this Old Town speakeasy since we moved to Temecula over two years ago, and fully expected to love this place. Friends got 7pm reservations on a Sunday night (and were instructed that we had to be out by 9pm), and we entered through that “secret door” at the Devilicious hostess station.Our friends were bummed that we couldn’t sit at the bar and watch the drinks being made but frankly, I thought the room where we were seated off the main bar area was cozier with sofas and comfy chairs. Every seat at the crowded bar was taken and while that would be great for just two people, I thought our seating was much better (and quieterfor two couples to be able to enjoy cocktails and converse.On to the drinks! Kassidy was mixing at the bar. Although our server Ryan seemed rushed, he did give some whiskey guidance and we ordered a whiskey tasting to start. Smoked old-fashioneds were out as we were told their “smoker was broken”. I ordered an Aviation, which should be a gorgeous pale purple from the crème de violette. Instead, mine was served barely cold, with no garnish, and green in color! It was clearly not an Aviation, which would have been fine had it been more chilled. And please, you’re a speakeasy – all cocktails should be garnished! We probably would have ordered some small bites, but Ryan was quite busy and never asked. With wait times for the whiskey tasting and our drinks, there was no time for food or another round. Last call came at 8:10 for their 9pm close.Overall, I was sadly underwhelmed by the Apparition Room. While I’d love to try it again to see if it was just a bad night, I’d definitely opt for the fairly new “36522 Distillery at Oak Mountain” if you want the speakeasy experience. We visited recently and were totally wowed by the ambiance, service and cocktails (all made with their own distilled spirits!)

Its a cute spot. Love the decor and the chill ambience, the service is usually really good, a lot of people checked on us throughout the night. The drinks are yummy but a little pricey so overall it adds up quickly for a small party.Reservations can be made by texting them.

Quiet and dark, with booze forward drinks, and a period theme done well; highly recommend, if you can get in!

Came in for the second time on 06/23, fantastic drinks. Top notch service. When I brought my girlfriend here she said it was the best bar she had ever been too. They put my Pinot noir in the correct glassware, a GOOD 1944 mai tai. Bartenders were willing to make me a drink off menu of my own design. This place seriously rocks and I cant reccomend it enough.

First time here. Super cool atmosphere and staff. The only problem I had was the biodegradable Straw for my Pricey drink! Maybe they could purchase reusable staws that wont fall apart in your drink.

I felt guilty ordering it (because of how much work the bartenders put into itbut I had to get the s’mores whiskey sour. It was delicious.

Absolutely incredible bartender. Made the most complex old fashioned Ive ever had, then created a custom drink just given a few descriptors. The atmosphere and decor were really nice coupled with a very friendly a professional staff.

Absolutely love it here! Dathan is the best! I just tell him the flavors i like, and he whips up something amazing!! It’s a beautiful speakeasy with gorgeous decor.

2 loud drunks made this experience intolerable, made worse by the barkeeps not cutting them off or kicking them out. We left. So did others. Wont go back. When I go to a speakeasy, its because I dont want a TGIF bachelor party.

What a great speakeasy in Downtown Temecula! Service was fantastic and the bartenders were absolute professionals at their craft! We both ordered a drink on the menu and then had the bartender make us something of rum and cinnamon/apple. They were both strong but tasty! Can’t wait to go back! We were lucky to get in without a reservation! We suggest making a reservation to visit AR! Highly recommend this establishment!

The vibes in here were awesome! You feel like youre traveling back in time to the 20s prohibition Era. Drinks are great! Make reservations!

Who uses crushed ice in an old fashioned? And this is a craft Cocktail speakeasy? Mediocre Cocktails, decent bourbon list, they give you free taste(up to 3of the whisky which is good.. but spendy, decent food choices..

If you’ve never been it’s a must. Especially if you share a love for mixology. For me I love a good whisky, bourbon, or scotch. This place has you covered. Great mixologist coupled with an awesome intimate vibe. Go & go often. It’s small so take advantage of it when you can.

If you want a truly unique experience order off-menu. The bartenders enjoy a challenge. Tell them your choice of spirit and flavors you enjoy and let them work their magic! Adam made me a "mocha" chocolatey orange drink we dubbed the Mo Valencia. Absolutely nailed the flavors!! 👍👍

Called and made a reservation for five people. We were very excited to go based on reviews. Showed up and they told us that last call was early tonight and they couldnt seat us. Paid over $30 for our Uber to get there too. Very disappointed

So disappointing. Made reservations over a month ago for a group of 6 visiting from FL. Showed up for our reservation (and was texting the person who handles the reservation line and he confirmed our reservation AND time to close). We show up and waited around for 5 minutes for them to get someone to help us - there was also a couple waiting outside to get in too but no one was helping them so they left. Then a guy finally comes to help us and tell us they “decided to close early and last call is right now.” Offered for us to make a reservation on another day, except we are on vacation. Didn’t apologize what so ever. Just a really unfortunate experience, and can’t recommend this spot. Find another speakeasy in Temecula or grab a bottle from a vineyard.

My husband and I came for my bday back in February. Great drinks, great customer service.  Tonight was a very different experience.  My husband and I decided to come back and spend out big anniversary night back at Asperation room thinking we were gonna have a similar experience.  Boy were we wrong. We were sat at the corner of the bar, ignored the entire evening,  told when I asked for extra olives for my martini they cannot do that even though I was planning on spending well over $200 at this bar. Forgot to put my order of steak fritz in. And after waiting well over an hour they tell us they forgot to put in our order and they are now out of steak. Instead they brings us out a pitiful sea bass to compensate.  When talking to the manager he just said drop his name next time we come in and he will take care of us. They took better care of the employee off duty then they did of us. We ended up leaving with me in tears  and extremely angry. 3 different couples to the left of me came and left with food and drinks before we even got our second drinks. When I called repeatedly to talk to the manager Kenneth in the morning my calls were repeatedly ignored. Being told every time he was on a phone call. The restaurant is run by children. I have worked in customer service for 19 years. The treatment we received is disgusting,unexplainable and extremely disappointing. My husband and I drive far to come to Temecula. Finding childcare so we can have a night out is few and far between and this is how my evening was spent. And did I mention they still charged us $50 for our drinks. There was literally no excuse for this kind of service and behavior

Deadmans chest definitely hit the spot, was really cool watching them make it, but it is strong definitely we sipping it but still got a really good buzz going,maybe more than a buzz lol, the pineapple and cherry added was really good too, had devils on horseback as an appetizer and it really hit the spot, definitely recommend both

Such a cool speakeasy vibe. I went here when they were hosting the Miracle pop-up. The bar was selected specifically to host this special event if that tells you anything. Cant say enough about the staff and the decor and the atmosphere. A must stop if youre in Temecula!

Great place! The atmosphere was awesome. I love the theme. The food was excellent. Service was great. My mom and I went here for dinner and we will definitely be back. Dont forget to check out the boutique!

I had the classic whiskey sour and was absolutely satisfied. The egg whites make the drink smooth and silky while still being whiskey forward. I also tasted the shipwreck which was sweet and refreshing. The bartender was helpful and knowledgeable and complete willing to shoot the wind and help build a story to go with your drink.

I must say I love this trend toward cocktails as art. I have been to a few of this style of bar and they have all been great. The Apparition Room is doing a very good job as well. Had a great time, will definitely return often.

Willie is the best bartender! Excellent knowledge of the spirits. I thought I knew my bourbon and scotch but this guy knows it! Tell him what you are craving and he will set you up!

You are paying for an experience. Please do not get this gem confused with a commercial style bar. I absolutely love speakeasies. So first it has a secret door and everything, my first thought was THIS IS THE REAL DEAL. You will step into be 20s and wish to never leave. The decor is gorgeous and the music is mood setting. When you sit you will be blessed to encounter Tristan!!! He is nothing less than perfection. He is beyond knowledgeable and does it so effortlessly without making you feel inept. I mean the man has got to be the most well informed bartender ever. He is not one of these guys throwing your drinks together and moving on to the next patron. EVERYONE is hanging onto his every word craving the stories behind each drink he is crafting. He is not your average bartender ppl and you will not be paying an average price. This place is pricey and for good reason. 13 dollars a drink sounds crazy until you actually walk in and see what you are getting. Im a penny pincher and would save just to have this experience. You have to try this place out. Dont miss out. Once you come here youll never see bars the same. It was like I was living the prohibition experience. Must try drinks Dead mans chest ($18Wild wood, and a classic Whiskey sour. Not that out of the bottle foolishness. This is my new go to for drinks. It really changed my entire drinking experience.

Amazing place and the bartenders were fantastic. Very friendly and a great atmosphere. Feels like an old time speakeasy, they did a good job theming the place.

Incredible ambiance. Just the right amount of lighting, prohibition era style music, and beautiful things everywhere. Food and drinks were original, interesting, creative, and most of all delicious. Service was kind, cheerful, helpful, and attentive. Definitely a worthwhile experience.

A little pricey but worth the custom drinks and specialty food items. Great for visiting friends and family for a special night.

So nice we had to do it twice....literally in one day! The service was great - they were personable and knowledgeable about their craft. Scare Bleu may be my new favorite drink. Campfire Sour is a work of art. And, deep fried olives? Surprisingly delicious considering I don’t eat much fried food. Ambiance is fun, and styled like a real speakeasy. I’ll go back if I’m ever in the area again.

Insanely cool. Just dont order "ordinary" drinks. Stick with their menu and live a little! Great for trying something different! AND be quiet and respectful to other customers. No one cares about your personal life ..... its a "SPEAK EASY" for a reason. If you want to be loud, go to Yardhouse or something. Maybe Fridays since they went out of business.

This gem is tucked away in Devilicous at the end of Old Town Temecula and you will not only be wowed by the quality of the drinks but the atmosphere makes it a place you must visit at least once. Its got a very cool speakeasy vibe and decor that really gives the place a unique atmosphere. We ordered The Old Man and The Sea ($14which has a black sea salt on the rim and contains egg white. Its got a salty but sweet taste, not too bitter. The texture of the egg white is what makes it. Second drink, served in a fresh coconut is The Dead Mans Chest ($18which is similar to a Mai Tai. They serve it with a dried pineapple ringlet, which completes the sweet and tropical taste of this drink. We have been here a couple times and its best to get there early or make a reservation as it does fill up quickly on the weekends. We will be back soon!

Always a great experience. Hard to get in as a walk-in so ensure you make reservations. My girlfriend loves the dead mans chest drink. If you are looking for a place to pre-game before going to one of the near by clubs this is a must. The drinks are strong, the bar itself is nicely decorated, the bartenders know their craft and are very friendly and polite. Dont like whats on the menu? No worries.. these bartenders are chemist, they will make you anything.

Simply put: do not go here. They made us stand outside for 15 minutes past our reservation for no discernible reason (no one exited and our seats were ready). They also said we couldnt talk to our friends who were also at the bar but that "maybe we could go over one at a time to say hi." What? We sat down and waited 30 minutes before we finally caught the bartenders attention for a drink. He was rude, dismissive and unhelpful. We have been to many, many upscale bars and speakeasies and have never experienced such a poor level of service. The interior was cheap and the drinks overpriced. We will never be back.

Drinks are decent, staff are pretentious and rude. Don’t ask the bartenders for recommendations unless you are in the mood to be talked down to. They force you to wait to enter the bar even if you have a reservation...I assume to try and create a false sense of exclusivity. We will not be returning.

Such a fun experience. First off you need to make reservations to see if space is available cause it is a small space. Love the decor and the seating is even comfortable. Shout out to Joel our bartender. He did an amazing job of crafting our cocktails. Will definitely go again.

Cool speakeasy make reservations on weekends as its limited space.Parking - Its Old town Temecula so limited parking on busy hours or weekend.Location - Towards the end on Old Town but in the prime area closer to all the happening bars.Venue - Very clean and new looking with a good size room.Drinks - On point with a good selection to choose from.Prices - Going rates so competitive.Overall great place and worth checking out.

My wife and I very much enjoyed the Apparition Room last night; we didnt have reservations but were lucky enough to get a place at the bar after a wait. Tristan, our bartender, was so hospitable and knowledgeable, and very creative. My wife enjoyed Old Fashioneds, which Tristan made differently each time. I had whiskey drinks, which were excellent. The "Devils on Horseback" appetizer was delicious; and the Charcuterie & Cheese board was one of the best weve ever had.

Great bartenders, even better cocktails in a very relaxing, dark bar hidden behind the front desk of another restaurant.

This place is such a treat. The whole experience is great, the drinks are interesting and well balanced and the bar tenders are attentive without being all over you. Got a little history lesson with my absinthe (which they prepare the way its supposed to be done....so funthanks to the guy who appears to be the head bartender. Do yourself a favor and do it right by dressing up and making a thing out of it....there is technically a dress code which I wish they would enforce a bit more since the floral sun dress and tshirt crowd kills the vibe hard

One of our favorite places to go to get a cocktail. The mixologists here are pros. Tell them what you are in the mood for and they will conjure up something delightful, with fresh ingredients. Highly recommended!

Loved the chill atmosphere and the bartenders were all super nice and very talented. One f the drinks didnt fit my specific tastes and they made me something close to what I like just to make sure I was happy. You dont get service like that at most bars.

Brilliant drinks and brilliant staff. Fun place to chill and talk and have some interesting drinks. The way they craft them is actually fun to watch. And they taste like how you would think Shakira would taste if she was a flavor.

Our bartender was one of the greats. We tried two drinks from the menu and of course they tasted amazing. The tender asked us what we liked and then set a glass of something wonderful in front of us. The most impressive part of the night was we asked the the bartender to make something that would make us like Gin, since we absolutely detest it. What that man made was what I can only describe as apothicarian sorcery. Delicious apothicarian sorcery.

Apparition Room is an absolute gem in every way. From the design aesthetic, to the amazing Bartenders (Mo, Tristan, and Matt), to the masterfully-crafted cocktails, to a great Bar Back (Adam), and an awesome pair of proprietors... this place is one of the best this world of ours has to offer! Due to what I do for a living, I’ve been exposed to the world’s best mixologists and beverage programs. And I’d put Apparition Room against any other place and put money on them. They’re awesome! And the food is great, too!
