Botanical gardens, founded in 1706, with medicinal herbs & glasshouses holding global plant species.
Spot of peace and quiet in the centre of Moscow. Nice park with botanical garden. Check out the butterflies, worth it!
Huge collection of different plant species, well documented and well exhibited category wise.Rotational exhibitions add to the importance of this place.Surrounded by stupendous restaurants as well.Good place to relax and spend the day closer to nature n still be in city.
Beautiful garden. Peaceful peace of nature in the big city.
Great for all plant lovers. Entrance is only 300 roubles and you can easily spend 2 hours exploring this beautiful place.
Very nice garden
A very nice place to hangout in the summer and spring, its silent, and peaceful inside. The place isnt very big, so you can finish the tour within 2 hours, but theres a lot of variety of things to see :)
Very interesting garden
The good green place in the big city! There are flowers that blooms depending on time, different types of trees. Pond (a bit overgrown). There you can see friendly mandarine ducks. Around the garden there are nice cafes and restaurants. Enter for guests of Garden Embassy Hotel is free and the price of tickets is ~2$ for others. I really love nature so that I rate this place of 5 stars !
This place is a heaven for plant lovers . Even though it’s small , you have a lot to see . Great variety of plants and many picturesque locations for photos etc .Many good cafes and restaurants nearby and in location too .
It is truly a magical place. I loved it. It can be a great place to visit with friends, kids or go on a romantic date. Be prepared to walk a lot. There is a lot of entertainment. Cafes, fountains, restaurants, flower exhibitions, cactus room, tropical room, insect room, mini aquarium room. Fresh air. Highly recommend.
perfect place to relax and rearrange your thoughts with a bonus of exploring the world of flowers!
Absolutely awesome place to go for a walk with kids 💐 we were there in the middle of May: park was full of blossom trees, flowers. It will be very interesting for lovers of nature 🌹💐🌱🌴 very reach collection of succulents🌵🪴In "Buffet" you can find various international cuisine: Georgian, Italian, Vietnamese and so on. Rаre find: rose-shaped icecream in "Vanilla Pallet-knife"- " Ванильный Шпатель"(рус)Also you can buy plantlets and flowers compositions.
Lovely place! You can see various flowers and plants here. The garden is well-kept, peaceful and natural as well. The admission is 300 rubles, I think its worth of it. Well-known restaurants and cafes are located just near the entrance of garden, and you can enjoy the garden view in some of them.
Great place to back enjoy nature and learn about biological
Green, peaceful, great place to spend your afternoon and enjoy all kinds of flowers and plants
Great quite place in the city. I can imagine it is lovely spring and fall. Lots of shade and mature trees. Many places to eat as well.
A nice greenhouse with many different things to see and its only 300 rubles to get in. There is also a nice Cafe on the ground floor with any kind of food you are in the mood for. We went here right after it had snowed, and the park outside of the greenhouse was beautiful. I cant wait to go back in the summer to see the park in full bloom.
Beautiful any time of the year. Interesting plants in the greenhouse. Always a pleasant place to pay a visit.
Interesting place in the city. In spite of winter some flowers are still alive. An orangery with flowers and palms.
Since i visited this garden during autumn then i did not see the flowers or other plants local russia. I just saw banana tree, cacao, cactus and other tropical plants in the glass house. As i came from tropical country i was hope to see the local plants. Anyhow quite enjoy to visit this garden as many resto and cafe that we can enjoy and having chit chat with friends
A huge indoor, outdoor botanic garden close to Moscow Centre. Thousands of spices of plants to see. Something very different for Moscow.
A huge collection of unusual plants and fragrant flowers!
Worst experience ever. We were having a wedding party of 5 people, got the entry tickets and were planning to go have a walk around. The guards told us we cant go in because they thought we were planning to have a profesional photoshoot (we had no cameras or a photographer whatsoever), after 15min of trying to get in touch with their management we decided to flag it and get a refund. I do not recommend anyone to visit this place, super rude staff with the soviet attitude to people that are just trying to get money out of you because they think you are having a photoshoot. Will never come back, Moscow had plenty other gorgeous places to visit. Stay away.
This Place is not big for a garden, but the are different kind of flowers and plants here. Different types of Succulents & Cacti.Nearly you there are cafes and restaurants so you can eat here and have a rest.
Nice place of you want a quite day and a change from historical sightseeing. This park was built in 18th century. It has the biggest water Lilly in the world!!
Nice place to visit, however a bit small. Several cafe shops are available. Some of them with balconies looking into the garden.
Beautiful place to relax and get inspired by amazing landscape
Beautiful garden escape from the hectic city, with affordable entry and a selection of decent cafes around to grab a snack beforehand/ afterwards. Some of the greenhouses are only open during particular time periods, we were lucky to get in!
Gardens are well-kept. Ideal for a nice walk with children. Cafes and restaurants available.
Amazing park! Used as a garden for herbal medicin and today a beautiful park for visitors, full of unique, beautiful flowers, trees and herbs. Highly reccomended!
It would be better if it is not so crowded.
Adult 300 rub. 200 for students. A big variety of flowers and plants all over the world. 3 night comes with tropical flora. Worth visiting. There is also a night visit
Amazing place. Great for taking pictures, learning and seeing plants you might never see in their real habitat
Nice place to have a breath of fresh air: orangeries, rare plants, remarkable exhibitions. Amazing views in spring. Please notice, that its hard to find a parking spot nearby. Professional shootingphotographing inside costs extra money.
The garden is cute. I dare say that there are many exotic plants if we take into consideration the geographical location of Moscow. The only minus is there place is horribly overcrowded. My daughter couldnt tolerate the long line of visitors to enter the tulips exhibition, so we decided to move away; despite of the fact that we had paid for the tickets.
Beautiful place, not very big.On my opinion its interesting place for families with children. If you want to feel summer in winter you should come here😊
A lot of splendid flowers at the "Spring Repetition" festival (incredible colours and violet tulips smelling like chocolate!), blooming gigantic water lily, blooming Devils tongue, vast collection of cactus and succulents.Unfortunately everything that is situated at the open air is under snow layer and maybe we should have come after 8 pm on the night tour that is 6 time cheaper (50 rubs vs 300 rubs for regular ticket).
There is indeed a lot of plants. Navigation can be somewhat confusing though.
It’s a great place to have a small break from the city. It looks a bit too sad in winter and late autumn, but generally it really has a selection of nice plants and flowers and I know many people who goes there quite often even though there is an entrance fee. I wish there were more money invested in this place, but it is what it is.
Awesome.Really awesome.Ideal for kids or students..but not only, also for passionate people and nature lovers.
Great place to visit. Most oldest botanical garden in Russia, locals are sure that its oldest in Europe...In the pavilions nice food court with great selection of the food.Periodically there are concerts of classical music.
One of my favourite places in Moscow. Will be perfect all ages. There are also lots of nice cafés and restaurants. Lots of fun for families at weekends and handmade/art classes
Very nice place to walk and spend time. Coffee shops are available nearby
Worth a visit if you love flowers and plants. Walk around takes an hour, two tops (if you take lots of photos). Good backgrounds for photo sessions.
Amazing place, where people care about plants and have created an amazing ecosystem right in the middle of the city. Very beautiful, very educational, very enjoyable
Moscow definitely needs more spots like this fantastic tiny park.
A lot of nature in the megapolis centre. Very good must see place in Moscow. You will need about two hours to walk around with pleasure.
Pleasant place, especially during summer time. Glass house holds nice collection of orchids. Place hardly can be spotted from the street since surrounded by the buildings. If you like botanical gardens and eager for a occasional open air concerts - this is the place
My husband and I spent hours here! We loved it!! There is so much learn, beautiful plants and flowers, gorgeous trees,.... you must visit here I your a tourist!! I definitely recommend!!
Beautiful place. Very calm, clean and friendly. You cannot imagine that you are in the center of the city. The garden has been taken good care of all year round. The flowers smell magnificently. A good addition is that It is surrounded by cosy cafes where you can enjoy a view of the fish pond sitting on the balcony.
