Amazingly tasty food, very friendly personnel, if i could i would leave 6/5 stars. We chose to eat here twice and we definitely recommend it. If you take a ferry from athens by car this is the place where you can stop and eat, 5 minutes away from the ferry harbour.

If visiting Greece and would like to sample Greek foods in a authentic setting, this is a great place to begin with. The staff is super friendly and helpful. They can make recommendations and their English is very good. I would definitely eat here again when I am back in Piraeus/Athens.

Most delicious food with a very warm welcoming hospitality, great music with great atmosphere to make you feel that you are at home with your mothers most delicious food! Do not loose time and money to go touristic places! Just come here and taste the jewels of Aegen! If you cannot decide what to order just trust Patros and Zanis and let him make the menu for you! Here there is food for everyone ; Mediterranean, vegetarian, sea food lovers, etc.. Just come and enjoy the best food with best atmosphere!!

Found this place on a travel blog! It’s a gem! We arrived in late to Piraeus and was worried we would not find a place open for a late dinner. This spot was still lively around 10 PM. The brothers speak great English and although they don’t have a menu in English, they provided great recommendations. We let him choose our entire meal and it was AMAZING, especially this orzo cassoulet dish. Mama needs to publish that recipe! The entire meal was around €35 and included some wine and water as well as small dessert. A perfect meal family style and they definitely made you feel like family. Many locals were dining there as well. Thank you for a great experience!

I was EXTREMELY lucky when I found this restaurant. Everyone there is SO nice! Its a family business and they were very veeeeeery kind. The beer was very cold (best thing when its 38°C outsideand I had an amazing lunch, from the starters to the dessert. The price is very fair. I felt like being home.

This place is a gem. A quick cab ride from the metro station and you find yourself in the very capable hands of Alex and his charming mother. They ask if you have any dislikes, or allergies and then you can sit back and relax. Plate after plate of well crafted, small sharing portions come out and trust me when I say each is better than the last! The quality, freshness, and price point were all fantastic. A definite must try!

Delicious food and friendly staff. Off the beaten track (for a touristand was really worth going! They offered us a tasting menu of lots of different dishes. This was amazing value and the best food we had all holiday!

I love this place. Came when I first visited Piraeus last year and have booked tables two nights this trip. The family who owns it are lovely and will just bring you food until youre fit to burst! Incredibly cheap, even if youre in Athens get a cab over, its worth it!

THIS is the Greek experience we heard about and were hoping for. This family owned restaurant is extremely proud of their recipes passed down fromgeneration to generation. The waiter came to our table to welcome us and said “Our menu is only in Greek, here we prefer to bring our best dishes to the table to enjoy. If you don’t like it or have an allergy just let us know and we will accommodate. The price for 2 persons including a big bottle of water, wine, beer, and bread is €35 total. What do you say? Sit back, relax and enjoy!” And enjoy we did!!! I am still surprised with how good the price is and how delicious each dish was, they practically had to roll us out of there we were so stuffed. Close to the port but a definite one to be sure to eat at if you are staying in city center. Thank you for a wonderful meal and experience!

What i love about this place is the feeling, it takes you back to greece 30 years ago..when everything was about heart and feeling..the atmosphere, the food ,the staff the cooks the decoration... a journey for a few hours with the modern amenities which works silently in the background..

Absolute gem of a place and not at all a tourist trap. It’s so authentic, they don’t even have an English menu! The lovely waiter offered to give us a tasting menu of their specialty dishes including unlimited drinks! Halfway through the meal, the mom (chefcame out and greeted us. Amazing service and seriously delicious food. Will be coming back for sure.Edit: came back the following week with a new group of friends! The family recognized us and greeted us warmly. They offered us the same tasting menu with delicious wine. All of my friends have been back to the restaurant since, introducing their friends and family to this hidden gem!! The only downside is that they are closed on sundays and Mondays!

Unpretentious and excellent food and atmosphere! The menu is only in Greek, that says it all :)Edit: we had forgotten a bag at the restaurant and they came back on the Sunday to give it back to us, and even ordered the taxi for us to go to the airport!

Plenty of vegetarian options as well.Service by the friendly owner was equally good - his love for what he does is coming through immediately.Special mention has to go to the roast pork and the vegetable-balls.Do not miss if you are passing by Piraeus - 100% worth taking a little detour from the seaside.

Amazing food!! We have thoroughly enjoyed this family run restaurant. Mom is the cook. Dad and son are in the front. We have never experienced traditional Greek food and absolutely loved it. We asked them to recommend dishes. We were served traditional cabbage rolls, an amazing array of beans and salad, excellent fish and shrimp dishes. I could go on forever!! Amazing, delicious, authentic and fresh!!!

Best pork roast I have ever eaten. Family style service was great, not a tourist type place but they were happy to translate the menu and Mamas cooking is worth the trip!

I am so happy I stumbled across this delight of a place. The people here are so friendly and welcoming. And the food is delicious! I mean savoring every bite of every thing on my plate good. I had a burger here better than any Ive had in the world. The goat sauce was amazing. The cheese in bread items were so, so tasty.

Came here for dinner on our first night in Greece. We are vegetarian so the waiter helped us a lot with the menu the food was delicious and our waiter was so so friendly which was perfect for our first dinner here.
