The best chicken tenders I’ve ever had. Better than any restaurant. And three for $7 during happy hour!

Horrible the owner just opened the door and I was very patient with him but also was hungry and I asked him what he recommended and his response was nothing is good and he wasnt joking so I almost cussed him out but yeah it was a bad experience

They cancelled my order despite ordering ahead of time. When called phone hanged up several times and then after a couple times more who ever answered told me not to call here again...will never order from here again or buy food here.

Overpriced! The man at the counter either cant remember anything or just lying. What a weirdo?! I might as well go to either Subway or Jersey Mikes

We dropped by around 6 PM June 20 and asked the server for recommendations to which he replied “nothing is good here” (in Filipino). Shocked and offended with his answer.

Was just there at rancho mirage river location. 6/20 at 6pm and short filipino guy at the counter bluntly told us that nothing tastes good in this restaurant. I was just shocked. Asked him why would he say that and he just said again nothing is good there and go to another restaurant in cathedral city. We left. Its a weird experience. Felt very disappointed.

The worst filipino restaurant to dine in.I would never recommend .If I can give them zero ,I would do that .I went there with my kids ,and this short guy want me and 2 years and 3 years old to take out instead of dine in because my baby is walking around .And it’s very hot outside ,116 degrees .We can’t stay outside it’s too hot .He is difinitely a mean guy and no manners .No consideration .Bad costumer service .Food is expensive .😠😠😠

Havent had the Philly cheese steak but I highly recommend the Cajun tenders. Made to order. Hot and juicy, not greasy at all. And the Chipotle sauce, OMG. Have a good one everybody :]

My family and I just left and we had a great experience here. I do want to mention that the hours on the door do not reflect actual working hours. I had no issues getting food but we arrived around 5:40 (after our movieand I looked at the door and it said Monday - Sunday operating hours. It was scheduled to close at 8pm. So my family and I went in since we were “early”. As we’re waiting for our food, they start to tell customers they are closed. I felt so bad. I honestly hate being that customer that shows up the last hour. I know better than to do this but the hours on the door said differently. I still feel bad because my family of 5 ordered their family meal deals. So a big order. Had I known they were going to be closing soon, I would have just left.They told assured us it was ok. They provided great customer service. Everyone was nice and the food prep was fast. The amazing thing about this is normally when things are made fast, there tends to be flaws. Like burnt food items or raw items. I am happy to say that everything was made to perfection. The chicken was great. The Philly cheesesteaks was good. The fries were my favorite, along with their little honey biscuits. They had great sauces to go with the tenders as well. The Mac and cheese was good but wasn’t my preferred item. I like my mac and cheese consistency to be thicker and cheesier. The mashed potatoes were great. Perfect consistency. All of our food was freshly made so it was hot. The way food should be. My son loved the food here, and was already asking to come back tomorrow. We will definitely be returning.

Went for a cheese steak, left with the best chicken adobo Ive had in awhile. Recommend for quick Filipino food!

This is a new place at the river in Rancho mirage but google maps doesnt give you good directions how to get here. I would just call to get directions.

Philly Cheese Steaks are good. Fish and chips a bit pricey.

A wise friend suggested I try this place and I am thankful to him. Restaurant is immaculate! Our order was taken quickly and because of the items we ordered the owner cautioned that it would take 20 minutes to prepare. It was well worth the wait. Food was tasty and piping hot. The lumpia was some of the best ever. I will return!!!

Don’t eat here everything Microwaved unless u like paying for Microwaved food

New found Filipino restaurant in the Coachella Valley. Location was great, it is located in the river mall in Rancho Mirage. The price was very reasonable and the food was delicious. Definitely we will come back.

I had the fried chicken, mashed potatoes and mac and cheese. The fried chicken was incredibly greasy and the mac and "cheese" was inedible. I can get better at KFC....in fact, it all tasted pretty much exactly like KFC. Nothing special here! My husband had a cheesesteak with Chinese toppings on top, and hated it. Never again.

Spent over $30 for Palabok that only has sauce in it with hard boiled eggs. , halo halo with only bananas red beans and 3 pieces of palm seeds, good thing they put ube ice cream and 2 pieces of fried chicken with one burned bread and few fries. What a waste of money. Never again. Filipino food is much better than how they make it. Misrepresentation ad. I dont know how they make it?

For a Philly place, their chicken is actually pretty good ;). Fast, friendly service from the only Filipino place in The River mall.

Hold onto your seats ladies and gentlemen because this is gonna be one hell of a ride. My family tried calling the restaurant in advance but the phone line kept rejecting our calls. As soon as we opened the door I discovered a horde of Asian people running the restaurant. Someone please tell me why Asian people are running a fried chicken place. Also, as soon as I saw the menu I realized that it was a fried chicken place as well despite it being called Apong’s Philly Steak. Upon discovering this, I ordered the Cajun tenders. To be brutally honest, you could’ve placed a slipper in front of me and I wouldn’t be able to tell the difference in texture between the two. The flavor wasn’t any better. To put it bluntly, this place left the Cajun back in Louisiana. Overall, McDonald’s would’ve satisfied my appetite had I known that this place was an imposter KFC.

Delicious food, and the friendliest service! I visited the establishment at the recommendation of a couple co-workers, and was not disappointed. I ordered a two piece chicken meal, and chicken strips for the road. The chicken was cooked fresh, and tasted delicious. Above all else was the friendly service.

Krispy Krunchy Chicken is not Kristpy. Flavorful, but not Krispy.

Just wasnt what I expected in a philly cheesesteak sandwich at $15. Ill stick with Savarinos in Redlands, i believe only 8.99 and 100 times better!

Barely any chicken and other fillings in my chicken Philly cheesesteak - filled maybe one third of the roll at most. I complained and they said that’s how it comes. I would never go back.

Philly cheese steak needs work not enough steak.

Food is absolutely delicious. Im Filipino and the restaurant is reminiscent of the American/Filipino culture. I had the Pork sisig, philly cheesestake, Filipino style spaghetti, and chicken. Oh, cant forget Pancit. I was not upset. Prices are fair. Portions can be a little larger but probably because I just have a big appetite. Highly recommend trying at least once.

Food is decent but they offer small portions and is overly priced for the quality.
