Apalyadana Temple - Buddhist temple in Pakokku, Myanmar
Thank you Than thike! We stopped off to see the temple and we got our own little horoscope and painting lesson. Hes so happy and smiley. He is passionate about his paintings and its adorable. Wasnt pushy about needing to buy anything and just wanted to tell us about his work.
the finest temple
Schöne Wandmalereien im Inneren..
Quiet and peaceful place. One thing is there is a local couple who sell sand painting and jade handicrafts. You should try some and buy them if you want. I recommend because they are polite, friendly and knowledgeable. The quality of their products are also fine.
Donations of King Kyansit in honour of Queen ApalyatanarCave type with mural paintingOne drawing painting vendor can speak English very well and popular on face book
Great

Misterious place
Amazing sunset from the top
Very nice ancient town
Built by Apalyadana, queen of King Kyansitthar. We can see the pictures showing the Hindhu and Buddha religion in ancient Bagan
Supposed to have amazing mural paintings. But there is no lighting and the only way to see them is with your phones light. The murals are great if only you could see them. The temple itself is like all the others.

One of bagan acient pagoda
Nothing much to see
An early Bagan temple with Sinhalese influence, implied the home land of King Kyanzitthas wife when hes fleeing his brother, King Sawlu. The panoramic view depicted Nagayone or Husband Temple (King Kyansittha and Apeyadana of Wife Temple, just across the road.
Seemed to have the least-disturbed and oldest/most-authentic wall paintings of any temple we saw in Bagan. And almost no one was there. Its one of those places youre really afraid will be accidentally destroyed because no one appears to looking after it properly, and, like so many things in Bagan, thats a shame because its a treasure-piece for all humanity.
Built by King kyansitthar which remembrance for the beloved of his wife. This place of temple was food bundle supplied point for him by beloved his wife When he has fled and hided from the danger of king saw lu min.( By the reference of stone letter)
