Ao Phang Nga National Park It is another tourist attraction near Phuket. You can charter a long-tail boat yourself or buy a tour package from Phuket with a tour operator. Alternatively, you can book yourself online. Phang Nga Bay is famous for the movie James Ball 007: The man with the golden Gun ,starring the famous actor of the Hollywood Mr. Roger Moore in 1974. Phang Nga Bay is surrounded by limestone mountains. If you go down, you will find many caves. Inside, there are magnificent stalagmites and stalactites. You can walk in with a guide to check the water levels for safety. with providing travel information until the end of the trip There is a canoeing point. Go see the beauty of the mountains in the caves. Boating by locals is also available for easy photo taking. Some points will stop playing in the water. The boat captain and guide will find a safe swimming spot and have lunch at Koh Panyee. The food here is delicious, clean, spicy, southern style. The indigenous people of Phang Nga Bay are originally from Indonesia for over a hundred years and are all Muslims. Beautiful park with luscious mangroves and wonderful limestone rocks.The private day tour from Phang Nga costs 1500baht on a longtail boat. The tour includes visiting Panyee Village and James Bond Island. Sea canoeing is optional. You can do it for 300 baht per person for 40 mins. Have to pay 400baht per person as well for the national park entrance fee. Would have been nicer if the guide was a bit quiet. He kept on asking for a tip throughout the activity.

On of the most beautiful sites in Thailand or maybe in the whole world. Amazing islands and landscapes. Now, it looks really sad due to the absence of tourists, but on the other hand you can have some privacy and take as much photos as you can.

Beautiful Naina park with a very informative and educational 950meter wheel chair accessible Mangrove Trail! Many mangroves, crabs, mud creamers etc to see. Spectacular views!! Free to enter!!!

A beautiful national park, with varieties of places, it has floating restraunt and markets, people are easily seen travelling by long tail boats. There canoeing services are also carried out but I prefer not to use them as they are over priced for their services. Below mentioned are some pictures for reference

This is a beautiful place! We took a boat tour which included a canoe trip. We were pleasantly surprised that the canoe trip included a tour guide that did all of the rowing for us and took great photos of us with our camera. The waters are not crystal clear blue like some of the other islands weve been to but the views are breathtaking.

A good place to get into nature. Should choose a suitable time to visit to avoid over crowed. There are a lot of services on the island, long-tailed boat service, food, souvenir, etc. The most amazing time to visit is around 4 PM, don’t go too early to avoid hot weather. You can enjoy swimming at James Bond Island but I dont recommend because the water is not clean.

Drove a motorbike up from Rawai.. took about 2hrs with stops.300 Baht Entrance for whities. Haggled down the boat guys to a 1,000 which got me a private cruise to all the major Spots. Never got off on the island, just circled it. I’m not a fan of dual pricing and the Chinese invasion took the wind out of my sails.Muslim Island was interesting. Had a floating soccer field and a huge mosque. They dock you at some overpriced restaurant I’d ignore unless you have a tour lunch booked there.Cool experience. I’d recommend it.

The tour is available from all resorts in Phuket and Krabi area. Prices are lower in monsoon season and slightly more expensive from Patong. Its a must do tour when youve in area

Amazing day trip to Ao Phang-nga National Park. We stopped in Panak and Hong islands where we did canoeing. We also visited Khao Ping Kan and James Bond island. We swam in Lawa island. The James Bond island is too touristic and not that much interesting to see apart from taking a few pictures in the standard location but the Panak and Hong islands are great to see. We had a nice lunch on the boat. This is a very recommended day trip. Do not miss it!!!

In the boat ride, they take through Phang Nga area, national park is normally part of it. Entry fee is covered in the boat tour cost. Its a small cave only, with diamond like shining limestone type hangings. Which ends in deep water body, we cant enter there though. Need mobile torch light to go inside. Just 2 main stones.

It was a very scenic and enjoyable boat trip. The places you visit are very beautiful. Lots of epic pictures to be taken. Lots of little shops as well in case you want to buy something to take home.

Very interesting floating village. This stop was included on our James Bond island tour. We stopped here for a buffet lunch which was very nice. You get some time to explore the markets and the village. They also have a pretty famous floating football field.

James Bond island is iconic and must visit. Those creepy caves above water and marvelous structure created by nature, calm sea and rare sighting of dolphin which we saw is exceptional, kayaking was great especially Tour organized by Andaman tours Pvt. Ltd.

True was disgusted by this place😭. A beautiful setting totally ruined for the tourist industry, fair enough I was one of those tourists but this is my opinion. Sea water is filthy with mud just under the surface literally cud get stuck in the mud. Beautiful beach nothing like the James bond movie totally overrun by traders selling tack. If you do buy haggle like mad n dont be afraid to walk away.

We visited Ao Phang-nga National Park near Phuket/Khao Lak in the month of January 2019. We had scheduled an early morning tour to enjoy the islands and caves before other tourists crowding the place.We started the tour around 5:30am in pitch darkness with the sun rising as we reached the main attractions in the area. We had a long tail boat for ourself and the tour guide was quite helpful.Kayaking through the caves was a great experience. James bond island one of the major attractions in the area. However the major attraction is the travel in the boat with breathtaking views all around.On the way back the stopped at a small fishing village with some tasty local cuisines.

We went sea kayaking! We paddled underneath the islands and came out in the middle! It was it once in a lifetime amazing experience. If you are going to Phuket Thailand, I wouldn’t miss going.

When you proceed from peer to island then you get to see the amazing Thailand and this national park with so many beautiful islands. A day tour to this park with big boat is best. You get to experience the sea, the views and if you have chosen you get to canoe also in the great Andaman sea.

Very beautiful islands, climbs and caves. I recommend this place. Excursion cost starts from 1000 THB for 2019 year by buy in Patong. You can have big boat with many people aboard or "speedboat" for more expensive price. I had excursion for 1300 THB with Russian guide on a speedboat.

Absolutely stunning photos and videos cannot begin to portray the sheer magnitude of the islands and outcroppings. There are a lot of tourists at each site, however there is no limit to the magical views and breath taking vistas the other tourists there just fade away. The biggest problem with taking a day tour to see the area is that is just not enough time to do the area justice. There is just so much to see, so many islands to visit that spending a week there would only be scrapping the surface that Ao Phang-nga has to offer.

The highlight of our trip! Hands down the most beautiful place Ive ever been. We canoed through the caves and into a cavern filled with mangroves. It was beautiful and totally worth it!

James bond Island was cool. Shop on the island arent great or friendly. They sell lot of pearl. Interesting experience, kayaking was fun.. We dont have to paddle at all.. We are a driver..

One of the adventures I went on (James Bond Island Excursionincluded guided kayak tours thru the national park. Through a cave into water areas surrounded by mangroves. So beautiful and peaceful. Lovely relaxing day. Bring your sunscreen and bug repellent.

Beautiful sight seeing didnt explore completely but clean water small beach and off course the big rock on james bond island....kayaking tour was nice with small beaches for photography and memories worht the travel will go again

This national park it took my breath away. The scenery of hanging stones in the water is incredible! I wish I had time to stay longer.I took a trip which I regretted though. Our boat was very small and low so it was difficult for me to take photos and enjoy better....so I recommend that if you go, pay a bit extra but enjoy in a bigger boat

This is probably one of the most mystical sights in the world. I have been here several times and am still numbed by its magical beauty. The serenity of the mangroves, the islands popping out of the sea, the caves everything here is a must see one time in your life.

It’s like a location for a film like the Jurassic Park, or the LOST or any pirate story. The landscape is amazing just like those caves that you can go across.It definitely worth a visit and take a ship tour among the islands. Something I had the feeling some of the places were a bit too busy but in spite of that, the nature is amazing.

I visit this place two days ago. This is also unforgettable moment in my life. We went one long tail boat to this place.after went that place they will give some welcome drinks. And we did small boat ride with two person.and we did ride inside cave. We can take more photos on that place. And you can see walking fish. Try this area ones in a life time.

Amazing surroundings! James Bond is a small island and the beach is not so big as well, but its a great place to take photos and see where the movie scene was filmed. The best part is the whole bay and sea caves, James Bond island is just a small part of everything you see during the tour. Tours are mostly the same. For younger folks I would recommend speed boat. Cruise boat is slow (good for elderly tourists).

Due to the presence of many islands and kayaking, this place is good for coming down with friends or family. But The color of sea water is not as nice as other places, so its an average place compared to other areas in Thailand. Nevertheless, you can take a cruise or a yacht and find yourself an island to relax , as it is calm and clean around !

The scenery is absolutely stunning. The shops on the island are all the same so they can really have less as the island is very small. The wash of the boats are depositing in the swimming area making the sand sticky and oily, a gross experience walking there.

Stunning natural scenery with ZERO management! In 24+ years Ive never seen anyone patrolling this park. Its sad, as this could be the role model for sustainable tourism in the region. If you dont mind completely trashed beaches, this place is wonderful.

This park was such an amazing experience! I highly recommend taking one of the kayaks with a local guy through some of caves and mangrove trees. The floating village was also really beautiful and unique. I wish you were able to explore it more since you cant walk through much of it but they are peoples homes so I understand. James Bond Island is cool but honestly not the highlight for me. I really loved all of the interesting rock formations that had fewer people in front of them.

Just absolutely spectacular. Kayaking through hidden sea caves at low tide, with sparkling stalactites, hidden mangroves and tranquil tree shaded lagoons; discovering ancient paintings on cliff faces as you paddle by; camping overnight on secluded beaches; skinny dips at night that feel like swimming in diamonds due to the bioilluminescent plankton shimmering around as you move; starry skies so clear I could see galaxies of star clusters that I have never before seen in my life, with an occasional shooting star; green blanketed islands teeming with life, monkeys, bats, soaring birds; dolphins playing in the waves and Fish jumping; having guides passionate about natures beauty and the environment, joining them in Helping clean up the water and the beaches. This was an amazing experience and I would love to do this again someday with kids when theyre older.

Beautiful national park. We loved cruising through the mangroves. But the islands are very crowded. Boat tour operators are various, so is the quality of the tours. Not a must see but nice if you have a day to spare and are in the region.

Natural park worth of spending a day on a boat trip. There are a lot of people there and the James Bond island is usually very crowded, but that is the price to pay for the beauty. Usually you also visit a fishing village and go canoeing inside the caves.
