Anzac Park in Smithton

Well done but always believe we can do more for our servicemen. :)

After this season, very wet under foot! Gorgeous place, but looking a little tired.

Such a pretty spot on the water. Can ride the adjoining track on bike or scooter. Equipment for all ages and large grassed area. Maccas is just across the road, grab some lunch to eat by the sparkly river and expel some energy having a play! Massive slide is the draw card play thing at this park. Its quite fast so probably not for the littlies but from about 3 upwards will have a ball doing endless laps up and down the hillside.

A lovely spot by the river for children to play on equipment and parents can sit to watch. Good BBQ facilities and toilets.

A wonderful clean and inviting space for families and children to enjoy play and picnics or BBQs. We enjoyed breakfast in the park and it was wonderful.

Pretty boring, definitely misses the big rocket slide

Kids love the basket swing and slide.Just a shame you cant get into the rocket anymore

Lovely playground but needs shade for the kids.This playground has the best location right next to the water and a path that you can walk along or bike along.We would have stayed longer if there was shade over the equipment for the kiddos. Even when they are slip slop slapped with sunscreen and wearing hats, shade is still needed. It would be great if a shade sail stretched across the climbing equipment for the bigger kids and the little ones play gym near the big slide.The rocket ship is impressive but its closed off so you can’t actually climb it.Please consider the sun health of the youngsters and add in some appropriate shading to protect from the UV rays.Otherwise lovely park with a top location and absolutely gorgeous surroundings.

A large, well maintained public park, short walk from shopping precinct. Undercover seating near playground with BBQs. Playground is in working order, but kids cant go up into the rocket or launchpad.

Nice big family friendly park on a river. Clean, well kept, clean safe rest rooms.

We stayed a few days around that area we loved it. Lovely walk along the river. Parks for picnics nice even flat walk ways very enjoyable .

Good park but has changed a lot since I was there. Not really for the better. Still a great slide.

Handy location near the shops. Undercover and BBQ area, and play equipment to suit different age groups from small to big kids.

Lovely sitting down watching the children while watching an amazing scenery at the same time.

View is nice, BBQ space is wide and has roof, lot of things attracts kids especially long giant slide.

Beautiful, clean, amazing water views, gorgeous memorials. All the people were so friendly. Large wide open spaces to enjoy picnics or play . Close to shops and facilities.

Layed back and relaxing park by the water next to the Leven Bridge. Great for BBQs and Picnics with the kids and family.

A good playground. My kids loved the long, metal slide. Some of the equipment was locked (especially disappointed about the large climbing rocket frame which is why we went here in the first place). Overall clean with a nice outlook.

I love Anzac Park. I love seeing families together, the scenery, the birds, dogs walking with their owners. I find it so relaxing and great for ones health. I love sitting taking it all in while enjoying a lovely cappuccino. Go find out for yourself.

This is a lovely park to sit ,watch the children play and enjoy some lunch from nearby MacDonalds or Perdros fish n chips
