Anticafé La Défense in Puteaux

Quite disappointing after haveing been to Hubsy a few times. As a place located at La Défense, I expected top-notch structure and quality but what I found was a co-working without any phone booths (just meeting rooms), and a poor toilet where light bulb was not working. Also, snack options are very basic and not at the same level of other co-working cafés in Paris

The reservation process was easy.I arrived at the La Défense location day of, at 8 am, only to find it wasnt open (though the CNIT building itself was). The actual facility is located on the -1 level of the CNIT building, to the right and behind the escalators. I double checked my reservation, confirmation email, reminder email from the location, and their website to verify the opening time was noted as 8 am. However, checking Google maps, I determined that the opening time was actually 10 am - this is the only place the 10 am time was noted.I entered at 10 am, and I discussed the opening time / reservation issue with the man at the front, and he stated he would make note of the problem and ask for it to be fixed.I paid the daily fee of 26€. An hourly fee of 6€ is also an option. Alternatively, you can also buy your drinks to go, for around 3€.The facility has many seating options available - couches, chairs, and padded benches - almost all of them with available power outlets (the bank of 2 top seats just across the drink bar to the left didnt seem to have power outlets that I could find).Drink options were numerous, including iced drink options. They have a limited selection of flavoring syrups. The fee included fresh fruits (bananas, kiwis, and oranges), as well as a nut/seed/dry fruit mix (looked like pumpkin seeds, cashews, and cranberries, but Im not positive), and some kind of chocolate cookie. They also had water infusions - an orange water, lemon and mint water, and lemon and cucumber water (I tried the last and it was good).There are 2 gender neutral bathrooms (including 1 wheelchair accessible one), both of which were clean. There was a minor issue with the toilet paper not working in one, which was fixed immediately when I notified the guy at the front.A couple of the light bulbs seem to be flickering (one in one of the private rooms, and one in the general back areawhich can be a little distracting / headache inducing for those sensitive to such things. I did mention it, and believe they will fix it when they can.I was able to go and get my lunch across the plaza, and bring it back in to the facility - the guy at the front informed me that outside food was welcomed when I checked in. They dont offer much by way of food, and given the multitude of options for food within the general area, thats not completely surprising. But, it might be nice if a few other options were available for purchase inside the facility so you dont HAVE to leave if you dont want to for food.It is a good work area, relatively free of distraction, with fairly decent drink options, power, wifi, and the ability to bring in your own food. There are some books available for you to read as well, if you are just looking for a quiet place to chill for a little while. This place is similar to working in a library though with better drink options, more easily accessible power and the permission to eat/drink, and much better than a Starbucks or similar coffee house, IMO, because of the plentiful power outlets, and the pricing structure - I dont have to worry if Im buying a coffee often enough, etc. The few issues noted above are relatively minor.Very pleased with this facility, and will be back.

Concept tres sympa. Quand on y ai allé il n’y avait malheureusement beaucoup de choix niveau snacks.

Staff wasnt rude but totally indifferent.They were talking amongst themseleves non stop.I asked for tissues because the table was dirty and some pastry cream touched my phone and handbag.She just said sorry, handed me the tissue and didnt bother cleaning the table. I had to clean my phone, my handbag, and the table on my own. She saw me and ignored the situation. The lady wasnt motivated to work at all.I would never go back there. Very bad service.

Trendy, very comfortable. Smartly organized space. Not bed coffee, tasty snacks, good possibility for working, teaching, discusssion, meeting, rest. You can take your food here and warm it.Self-service.Cleaning could be faster and cleaner, as well as rules of staying in different languages. Actually, Hilton is quite near.

Nice placr for working/coworning but quality of drinks is really disappointing....

I love this place, I have spent days here working on my projects. I have no complaints about how convenient this place is.But on 01/12/19 I ‘emporté’ a latte matcha with coconut milk. I left anti café, took a sip and burnt my lips, tongue and mouth! I found it funny and thought I should have anticipated that! But I am writing this almost 48hrs after this incident and I still cannot feel anything on my tongue and my lips hurt, which is not normal! I still give 5 stars because this is a place I love and coffee is excellent. But this is just a warning to myself and everyone who orders hot drinks here.

Jaime le concepte. Jai pu suivre une visio conférence assie confortablement en sirotant un délicieux latte maciatto.La table un peut trop légère était un peu bancale dommage sinon j aurai mis une 5 ème étoile.En tout cas l expérience était concluante.

This place is a great coffee shop that works completely different as other places. You can have a coffee to go for 2.80€, but if you stay, you pay a flat rate of 5€ first hour, and less for the next hours, you can have anything you want, food or drinks. Its a great place to visit or to stay as a work place

confusing opening hours. I sent an email asking if they were open on a holiday and they said yes, but then I stood in front of closed doors. Its also quite pricey.Coffee and atmosphere pretty good though

Very good idea to make people pay based on time rather than food. Location is not great, a bit dark but quiet indeed.

Nice concept. The facilities where good. Printer working like a charm. The drinks and coffee the barista was making was both inspiring and tasty. I could notice a difference in netspeed from early morning til after lunch (more crowdedthere was music being played in all the areas of the Cafe, that could sometimes be a bit disturbing for Skype calls. Still very satisfied.

I like the concept ! Cients paye for the time spent in the cafe and not for their orders. for 5€/hour youll have an unlimited access to the bar and food (cookies, treats, fruits, cakes..). you can get the membership offer for more advantages than a normal visitor ( maybe a better price..). at the anticafé of la defense there is two meetings rooms with boards and screens that you can book 3 days before the day you need it.the space is very good for team work !

20 € for a day of stay and you can have whatever you want as many times as you want. Recommended.

What a great idea and a lovely spot to drop in to meet a friend for coffee or to catch up on your email. 5 Euros an hour and we had great coffee and cookies AND friendly service!
