Anthony's Coal Fired Pizza in Miami Lakes

Best pizza in town!Buffalo wings are coal fired crispy and served with focaccia bread.Classic salad is amazing, includes tomato wedges, chickpeas, onion, olives and hard boiled eggs with their signature house dressing, very flavorful and can’t come here with out ordering this salad.Paulie’s pie includes ricotta cheese, sweet peppers, meatballs and sausage. One of my favorites.

So went for a quick bite that didnt turn out so great. Ordered quickly since it was almost 9. Salad and sodas came quick enough. Thankfully we didnt need anything because our waitress Lizzy no ever came to check on us. Finished salad and waiting, waiting. Watching our waitress chatting with manager. Finally she sees me watching and decides to check on our pizza. The 4 pizza cooks are just standing there. So then one of them and Lizzy go over to the take out rack and pull a large box off, take to cook area. Pull the large pizza out of box to reheat/ recycle. I go over there and ask her if thats our pizza. She says yes. I tell her what I saw and she tells me 🤷‍♀️"its not my fault".I then ask for manager, and Luis comes over. He tries to make right. While talking with Luis, she comes over and asks us, "So do you want the pizza or not?" Such attitude!We go home supposedly with a freshly made pizza. See pictures of our burnt, really burnt pizza. At least they compted the check. Cause this pizza is going on the trash.Unbelievable!

This place is a 10 out of 10. Must try again. We loved it. So classy, Clean. Large portions. Amazing

Super overpriced pizza I ordered the sausage meatballs pizza, and to be honest it was under cooked the taste was not so great I rather papa jhons better never ordering there again

Everytime I come to Anthony’s, it’s always a great time. The food is on point, the service is even better. I usually get the white pizza with a side of their homemade marinara sauce, which never disappoints! I usually sit with Stephanie, who is so attentive, knowledgeable and charismatic. She truly makes the experience an unforgettable one. 10/10 would recommend.

The wings here were apparently good bc my 6 year old devoured them and he’s a picky eater ! The lemonade is soooooo good! Pizza is good but honestly a bit pricy.

The garlic romano wings are finger licking AWESOME. Jay, the server was amazing, his service was impeccable. This guy runs this place. Thank you for your service Jay.

Alex and Michele are main reasons we keep coming back to this location. Long overdue for Alex who has always been a fantastic server, hustles, and does everything possible to make sure our dining experience is perfect. Last week and then again today, we had the pleasure of being treated by Michele. We brought our company in (10 peopleand she handled it with ease. She does things without us asking which makes her special. Constantly bringing around the pitchers of water, refilling our wine glass, brings clean plates for the whole table without us asking, and I notice she just pays extra attention. Even serving with class as she poured all the glasses of wine, then walked over with them on a tray to serve each person. This was much better than a server awkwardly pouring over us and spilling a few drops. I honestly couldnt imagine a better server. We were in twice this week and I plan on going back next week....hopefully Michele or Alex are working. Thank you both for making our dinning experience a memorable one.

I have been going to this establishment for many years with my family and have never had any issues. I returned to this location for the first time since the pandemic started, and after the experience my family and I had, I will never be returning. We ordered a Margherita pizza and we asked our waitress to please not have the pizza burnt and requested extra basil (something we have asked in the past several times with no problemsUnfortunately I did not take a picture, but the pizza was burnt to the point where it was black, and the pieces of basil were so minimal they may as well have not given me any at all. When we brought this up to our waitress, her response was “this is how the kitchen cooks it, I didn’t cook it” Obviously we understand that she is not the cook, but when we request an item be cooked a certain way we assume she would relay that information to the kitchen staff. Additionally, my young daughter accidentally spilled her water cup. After finally coming over to help us clean it up, they did not offer a replacement water for my daughter, as well as not providing any napkins for us. And the cherry on the top was the prices have increased. I have no problem with restaurants increasing prices, but I expect the service to be just as good, if not better, than the past. We were extremely disappointed in paying so much for food that I may as well have gone to the freezer section of Publix and bought myself a frozen pizza. This will be our last time coming to this establishment.

Hands down, the best house-made marinara on the planet. 11/10, definitely will return.

The service was horrible, we had a reservation for a large group of 50, one of the waitresses tried to remove us from the table stating we were not part of the group, we went to celebrate our granddaughter’s graduation. Once she realized she was wrong she left and did not take our order , moved on to the next table. Absolutely no one went up to us. My son that was sitting at the bar had to order our food.

Great service! Dudley, Ricky, and Michele was just wonderful!! They made feel as if we were there only patron!

Went there for the firs time to eat a pizza because it was recommend it. When I sat down, I noticed a couple with a dog. This was disgusting to see that. I can not comprehend how this establishment can accept animals in it It was NOT a service dog by the way. If it wasnt because I had already place the order, I would have walk out from the place. Manager and Employees should know better if they took the ServSafe Certification. Never again I will come back to this place.

I love Anthonys coal fired pizza, but I came to this location a couple nights ago and was blown away. This is by far the best one yet! The servers were busy so I actually was greeted and served by the manager, Juan, and he was amazing from recommendations to hospitality. Will be back soon!!

Always good pizza and wings! Thin crust pizza very good and not heavy. Wings charred with garlic and sautéed onions. Bellisima 🤌

The pizza is generally great!. I love the style also the meatballs and garlic bread are yummy. Have been eating from this place for over 7 years now.

Pizza is delicious and service here is always amazing especially when Ricky the manager is there. Really attentive and always takes care of me and my family. My favorite waitresses are Emily and Stephanie. All the menu items are great and they even have gluten free options.

Anthonys as a franchise is just not worth the money they charge. they are a over priced little ceasars honestly, too much bread and you cant even taste the toppings they put on the pizza and if you pick it up you have to heat it once you get home and even when you heat it in the oven it still doesnt stay hot long once you open the box. The best thing about this franchise is their wings

We live in Miami Lakes and this was our first and last time that we order from here. First off we placed our order online. When we arrived to pick up our order the restaurant was closed. The door was locked and staff was cleaning up. I double checked my phone to verify the order had been placed. It had been placed and I was charged. I knocked on the door and made eye contact with several of the staff members but was ignored. I was simply trying to verify if the order had gone thru or not and if it hadn’t to make sure I would be refunded. Since I was being ignored my wife told me to call the restaurant. I called when they picked up the phone I told them I had placed an order online the guy says ok I will bring it right out. The fact that the entire staff ignored me gives this place a zero for customer service. I am sure they knew there was an online order that had not been picked up so if you see someone at the door you can go up to the door and ask them if you can help them. The food was mediocre and the wings were tasteless. The only thing that was not bad was the salad. One of the pizzas was burnt the other one was cold but I won’t hold that against them since it was a takeout order. Charging $91 for 2 pizzas, chicken wings, and a salad not worth it at all. Will never try them again. At this price point for pizza, I expect better customer service and more pride in the product they prepare.

Don’t sleep on Anthony’s. Wings are fire. Their Chicken Sandwiches are out of this world. Shoutout to Nick for always making amazing chicken sandwiches. Also shoutout to all the managers for making it feel like home.

The staff at Anthony’s Coal Fired Pizza Miami Lakes were extremely helpful and friendly. They made us feel very welcome. Amazing hospitality. Shoutout also to the management team Ricky and Juan who came by our table and let us try some garlic knots, which were extremely delicious!

ordered online, parked where they are supposed to bring it out. Waited then decided to go in to pick up. I asked the millenials why wasnt the pie brought out to me and no reaction from them. Instead of apologizing, I was told that next time call. WowPizza was cold when I arrived home and I only live a minute away. Sad.When are these millenials are going to understand that adults arent going to take their rudeness. Will not go there again. Regret that I left a 22% tip.Pizza was burned and cold.

If i could leave 0 stars i honestly would! My pizza was super burnt, it had no way of being eaten. I have no idea how this place even has a 4.5 stars….CRAZY! The picture i attached is the pizza i received and it’s very unhealthy and disgusting. I have my # order if you need it. It’s not the first time this happens, i’ve bought take out many times and EVERY SINGLE TIME MY PIZZA IS BURNT!! I payed 50 dollars for my pizza and left the a good amount of tip in order to get my pizza good and for the service. It felt like they made the pizza with there feet. Either their ovens have a problem or their cooks do. My God. The pizza had no flavor it was DISGUSTING! The worst! I’m never eating here ever again. I don’t recommend this place! After this whole pandemic the pizza is a HUGE garbage! Never going AGAIN to this pizza place.

I use to love the meatball ricotta pizza from Anthony’s but We just ordered two pizzas .... bad ! A ricotta meatball one totally raw , meatballs taste like dog food .... the other one pepperoni mushrooms super salty. To top it all $71. Also they don’t let 1 star reviews yo be posted

The worst pizza I’ve ever had. It was very soggy to the point of being disgusting and the pizza itself was dragging down with everything falling off. one pizza slice had 3 FULL garlic cloves (not even mincedon it and another one had lettuce slices on it (the joke is that it was simply a pepperoni pizza, so idk where the green stuff came from). The pizza was also very undercooked. overall a terrible experience, save your money and go elsewhere.

So wife and I decided to go eat there for first time. Our experience wasn’t the best. Start off by saying the waitress didn’t introduce herself. Second, they only had 3 beer selection available. Then when salad came they put to much pepper in the house salad. I finally decided to ask the waitress her name don’t want to say her name not to put her on the spot. Finally, the wings where a bit dry over cooked but pizza was ok.

Dont get the garlic knots. Assuming they get the count on the knots right (they wont), what youll likely get is garlic croutons. The quality of the other food is largely inconsistent. Best item has surprising usually been wings, but even that is questionable these days. Pizza is decent, but over priced for what you get. It may or may not be a little over cooked. If it werent for the fact that local options arent very plentiful, i likely wouldnt eat here at all.

We were visiting from out of town. Liked the reviews we saw for this place, so we decided to stop in. We were not disappointed. Garlic knots and pizza were wonderful! Service/wait staff were great as well.

My review is super late but my boyfriend, niece and I visited on 10/13/2021 and we had Arlette as our server...let me tell you... she was super sweet and made out time there very comfortable. Also, the food was yummy; not overly seasoned and not under seasoned but just right. I will visit and I would recommend... ask for Arlette. :)

Wings here are delicious! I needed some real "grilled" wings. Not the ones that are fried first and then grilled. I was not disappointed at all. My guests loved them! They are pretty reasonably priced too compared to other options.

What a pizza experience. What we order came out super fast, people in the kitchen were working super organized and focus. The chicken wings, and the pizzas were super tasty, my family enjoyed it a lot. Juan the manager was super nice passing by our table asking how everything was 😃. Luis the waiter took very good care of us. Thank you Anthonys staff!

We always enjoyed coming here for the past 10 years. Every Birthday, anniversaries, Mother’s Day, Father’s Day . Tonight we order the same thing we always order. The pizza came out raw in the middle. It was like eating rubber. We told the waiter that was raw . He was really nice and the service was good. He replaced the pizza that came out and it still came out raw but we didn’t complained since we waited for so long . You guys are know for well done pizza and it was a disappointment. The restaurant was not busy and to present a poor product is not acceptable. It’s going to be a long time before we go back!

I loved it. Service was incredible and also you can ask half / half even if it’s a small one. We asked 2 small pizzas and OMG allá of them were delicious!!! The ricotta cheese was my fav !!! Absolutely amazing !!!

Please clean well where they make the pizzas, we could not enjoy the taste because the unpleasant charcoal taste, my daughter could not enjoy her pizza

I always use Sunday as my cheat day and today I went for pizza. I’m a thin crust pizza lover so wanted to find a place that made this one. It was Delicious made to perfection. Ordered the mozzarella pie and it was just amazing. Flavors were great. Perfect portion. Good price for all the food you get. Fast service . Will order again

Just order thru uber eats from this restaurant and the pizza was so burn that i had to thru it out, it was really awful, next time make a new one for the love of god, this cost you a customer, maybe you care maybe you don’t but im nor ordering from you ever again.

I enjoyed a pizza the first time I visited, but tonight I had their roast beef sandwich. That description is too mundane for the quality of the ingredients and the taste of the finished product. They also have craft beers and attentive service, so Ill keep coming when Im visiting Miami.

I’ve ordered here a couple of times and find the pizzas good (not greathence 4 out of 5. They definitely need to be eaten quickly as they do not hold well. I haven’t tried anything other than pizza.On another note. The ambience and staff are amazing. The staff is always friendly and helpful. They happy to give recommendations and always offer water if your waiting on a take out order.

They say their pizzas come well done mine was cooked halfway in the second one to go wasnt even cooked on the bottom

Great family place. Berry clean , staff is knowledgeable, customer minded and very well dressed. Food is reasonably priced. For us a family of 6 is usually abut $97.00 dollars plus tip. The area is nice and the prices are better. We commercial here once a month. I usually wait 3 to 4 visits before I write a review. This place for example was out of the ordinary simply because is high Traffic so I waited longer to give them the benefit of the doubt. So far it has been a great experience.
