Sea World attraction with a motion-simulator ride & 5 species of live penguins on display.
Really nice exhibit. Staff knowledgeable. And the penguins did not disappoint
The ride is closed. It definitely is cold in the exhibit. Also very smelly but the cuteness of the penguins makes up for all this.
I miss when it used to be the ride. Now its kind of a odd walkthrough but still nice.Definitely feels good the ice Cold Air after being out in the heat!
Bring warm clothes so you can visit longer cause the penguins are the best
Fun attraction, but bring a jacket. It will be very cold inside and if you plan to stay and take pictures, you need to be comfortable. The staff members inside of the penguin enclosure are dressed for winter. Maybe put a windbreaker in your backpack.
My jaw dropped. I never expected to see a penguin so close ever. There is no glass window between us. It was an amazing experience!!
Great upclose viewing of the penguins. Get ready for the cold! Also, there is a strong smell of fish so prepare yourself for that.
Good to see so many penguins...its cold but worth a look can also see them swimming under water
Up close and personal you get to get very close to the penguins awesome its very cold inside so be ready
Love the penguins! They’re always swimming around or cleaning themselves. I wish it were still a ride, but it’s still nice to see these amazing creatures. One warning, it is quite cold in there!
Absolutely wonderful, even saw a keeper hugging a young penguin 🐧 because they wanted a hug
Had a great time with penguins lady that was working taught me a bunch of stuff about them and I love learning about the different species and their behaviors I was definitely in happy feet heaven
Was not my best experience at Sea World (my clothes gotten wet on the previous showbut just to be so near to pinguins is great!
Beautiful age so many penguins to look at. Love the prices of getting in. There were even scuba divers cleaning or repairing something underwater when we were there and was near seeing the penguins just swim by like nothing
The penguins are amazing to watch and experienceThe ride was awesome back when it was open. The whole point of the ride was to cool you down gradually so that the cold wasnt such a shock. It would also gradually bring down humidity to have less frost problems. I guess this way people move through the exhibit faster.I would give it 5 stars if the ride was still open.
Amazing area for the penguins free exhibition staff are great freindly and amazing
An awesome experience. You get to see the penguins close up above and below the water. Complete open air, they come right up to you. You get seriously close to them, and get to see them interact with each other. It is kept at antarctic temps, so be ready but it is an amazing spot to literally cool down.A very unique exhibit.
Unfortunately due to weather conditions the main attraction, the orca show was cancelled. Good thing guest services provided a courtesy guest ticket / rain check to return another day.
This use to be a ride & it was great. This time it wasnt a ride and we werent told that. So we waited 60mins on a line just to walk into a room of penguins & of course we were freezing so we werent in there anymore than 5mins. Also there wasnt anyone talking / informing on the penguins. Very dissapointing
Penguins were super cute!😍🤗😍🤗But it was super cold in my thin summer clothes. So, I had to get out as soon as possible. 🤣
It was a amazing experience with the family. Very interesting and beautiful all in one time.
A beautiful exhibition and be warned before going into this huge enclosed well made Aquarium with ice roads on the top and water displayed in the bottom that safeguard you with Plexiglass on the midpoint all the way to the bottom of the gallons and gallons of water. The temperature inside this exhibition is very cold and I measured the temperature at a freezing 20 degress and this is due to the temperature that the penguins need in order to be in their natural habitat. Please do not do the same mistake I did by going to the Waterpark and immediately going to this exhibition wet because you will freeze and shake as I did with my guests. This experience was breataking, the immersive sounds are astonishing, and visually this enclosure is one of the best exhibitions this park has to offer, "I dare to write I have never witnessed any exibit like this in the states", I was only able to post these few pictures from the outside because inside the exhibition I took some video only. The videos will be available on YouTube later on today. I highly recommend this exhibition to you and your family or friends.
It was good. However the lines were crazy long so by the time I was able to go in to see them it was time for them to sleep. So I love peguins and have been in love with them my whole life. So even watching them going to sleep was a treat. They are just such amazing creatures.
Loved this part of it. Very cool place.
Great frozen experience, especially on a hot day. My 14-year old & my 2-year old loved the penguins and the cool air!
SeaWorld was REALLY fun!! The new icebreaker ride is really fun I wanna go back again!!
Love the penguins. This place is a great stop at SeaWorld especially during the hot summer you can cool of in the freezing temperatures. Pro tip get the line skip pass it is well worth it at the park. A better investment than a food pass.
PENGUINS ARE SOOOO CUTE HERE. Unfortunately line was super long and the entry way was super hot (not fitting for iced theme area~but totally worth it
The penguins were amazing and cute.we had the quick pass but without it. The wait time would be up to an hour
I love Penguins!!! That being said... It was nice to cool down and see the penguins. You have to set a private time to touch and interact with the animals. Be aware of the smell as it is horrible!. Still a good time. I recommend fast pass as this is popular and extremely popular when hot outside.
The penguin encounter was so amazing. Learning about penguins up close and personal was so special.
Fabulous visit on a hot afternoon between rollercoaster rides!
Loved seeing the penguins so upclose and personal, no glass to obstruct your view but it is freezing cold in there but great photo options.
Freezing cold in here, perfect for a hot summer day to go in and see all the penguins! Theres way more than I expected and so many different ones standing swimming and just chilling out. Great spot to go anytime really.
Such a great experience! The pegiuns are adoreable! There is someone available to answer all your penguin questions. This is a very cold enviroment so he prepared to be chilly. There is above and underwater viewing. No flash photography however you can take pictues.
On the day I went the coasters were a walk-on to 10 min wait. But this attraction has the longest queue and wait time. Having said this it was definitely time well spent. What a beautiful experience and opportunity for some amazing photo ops.
My daughter had a wonderful time seeing the penguins it was awesome
Other than the coasters, this is the next best thing at SeaWorld. Best animal exhibit at seaworld
Awesome attraction. Be prepared to shiver because the room is 32°F lol. Cannot pet penguins but you get pretty close
Amazing for all ages 😉 Its so beautiful to be able to come back after so many years and still be amazed by this little fellas. We enjoyed 💯% . Greta experience
Very unique experience where you dont need to watch the penguins from behind a glass anymore. Be prepared though because its very cold in there! The lady told us that its 33°F in that area, we were in shorts and short sleeve shirts 🥶😆
This area of the park is everything we expected and more! The wait time is not that bad. We took our children and although it is VERY cold inside, especially for them, lol, it was such an awesome experience to see the different types of penguins! They were so fun to watch as they played, swam and even just rested and watch us as we looked on in amazement!
5 penguin species / varieties according to the keeper there. Bring jacket if you plan to be here long. Its below 32F.Love the king penguins. We bought a life size penguin plush at their store and pose with it while having real ones behind us and it looks convincing.Much fun there.
We love penguins so this was a must on our visit to Sea World. It didnt take long to get in. The temperature in the facility is 32°, so factor that in to what you are wearing. We were enthralled by the penguins, and being able to watch them from up close was awesome. Truly a great experience.
Hands down one of the best parts about sea world Orlando. My only complaint would be the size of the enclosure. Im sure they think it is fine however the many cuties and spices on average travel in a much larger area and with colder Temps. I also think staff could do a better job keeping this area neat there are very interactive penguins in here telling me they have normalized their life of being fed by humans that is pretty sad because its not beneficial for onlookers or raptors. I truly would spend the better part of my day in this area watching these amazing creatures.
Even with them letting in a limited amount of people at a time it was pretty crowded in there. It was a nice looking setup though. It was educational and entertaining. Also a nice break from the heat.
Awesome experience, attraction not currently running but penguin exhibit is light-years better than Sea World San Diegos enclosure which is encased in glass. Penguins will literally splash you because you are so close.
The Penguin exhibit is exquisite and beautiful. The penguins in that environment are so enchanting to watch. It does stink to high heaven here. If you are pregnant or are sensitive to smell I would avoid it because it smells like fish. People of all ages love it here. They have more than just emperor penguins here which is nice. They look like there will taken care of to.
Currently it is penguin exhibit viewing only. I LOVE watching the penguins! It is cold in there, personally I love it on hot days... but the penguins are awesome, so interesting to watch and having the glass free viewing is amazing... everywhere else my pictures are horrid because of the scuffed and scratched glass... I could watch these guys for hours though... so funny...
This is a fun little area, and a really great way to cool off on a hot day. They mean it, when they warn you about the exhibit, too. You get a warning that you need to be completely dry before setting foot inside and when you go in, youll see Sea World employees wearing parkas.Im not sure exactly what the temp is inside, but if its above 40 degrees, Id be surprised. They are penguins, after all.I believe there may have been a ride here at one point, but at this point it is simply a penguin exhibit, where they can huddle around each other, swim, nap or whatever. Theres all manner of them in here as well. Its a good place to see the birds and get out of the heat. One of my favorite things here was the fact that there was a young chick (of the penguin typeholding flippers with what I can only assume was a mother. It was pretty sweet. The picture is here if you want to check it out.
