It is a nice experience visiting this restaurant. Good food, nice drinks, nice staff. The best shahi chicken as main and spicy garlic lamb and chilli chicken as starters. In the end, they gave complimentary desserts gulab jamun and ice cream which is really good.

Beware. They gave us wine that was £51 a bottle. Theyre a rip off and take advantage of people.

This place is great! Atmosphere is warm and cozy also the staff were really friendly. They know what they’re doing and what they’re talking about, giving us great recommendations, and you can tell making the customers happy is their main priority. Food is excellent , some indian classics, hospitable hosts, delicious dishes, beautiful presentation, wide wine list and wonderful dessert. and for their prices it’s 100% worth it. I have to say, I enjoyed every single bite of the meal in Anoki .I had a 3 course meal, with a couple of beers. Considering the quality, the price is reasonable. Ideal for those who want a romantic night out. There was also plenty of room for bigger groups.

Worst place to visit. The staff is extreemly bad and doesnt respect their customers. They are rude to you even if you ask them a simple question. They dont know how to behave. This place doesnt even deserve 1 star its worst than that. First they give you complimentry dish and then they insult you for eating. They will make you feel worst.Rather stay hungry than to go and eat at such stupid place.

What a disgusting staff member When I asked for a student discount the guy literally shouted at me and disrespected me infront of everyone. Although The owner was very nice but the staff guy was veryy very pathetic. I think the owner should remove him from the job because if he can disrespect me he can disrespect anyone. And also the restaurant is OVERPRICED.

The whole experience of dining with Anoki in Nottingham was one of a kind. I went with my son to celebrate his birthday and we enjoyed every single aspect of our time there, from making the reservation, which was simple and quick, to dining there and getting to know the Nottingham Team and their time in Fine Dining. For appetisers we were given Poppadoms with House Chutneys, and for starters we had Onion Bhajis and Chicken Tikka. The Onion Bhajis were made to the best standard and the Chicken Tikka’s were full of flavour and made to the right level of spice. For our Main Courses we had Chicken Jalfrezi and Lamb Karahi with Rice and Naans. Both the Jalfrezi and Karahi were made with a special base providing a unique flavour to each of the dishes, with the meat being cooked to perfection, and especially the Lamb, which was tender and soft. We also enjoyed the range of Naan Breads Anoki had to offer, such as Garlic Naan and Cheese Naan, alongside their special and one of a kind range of desserts. Me and my Son had the best time at Anoki, and the friendly Team made sure that with their hospitality being welcoming, we were able to enjoy our day and celebrate whilst dining at Anoki and spending our evening there, having fantastic food and drinks.

Ate here recently for my 40th birthday with family and friends, a fantastic night was had by all. The cosy yet elaborate decor gives the venue a special feel which is further enhanced by the gold service you receive from the team when dining here. The staff went out of their way not only to look amazing in their uniforms but to ensure that we also had everything we needed and more including a great selection of expertly poured fizz. I can not recommend this restaurant enough and will be back again very soon.

Really is a great place, can have a laugh with the staff too, well done guys!!!😁😁😁😁

This was my favourite Indian in Nottingham, we had an amazing birthday party there a few years ago. But its gone down hill, the place was scruffy with stained seats and the food quality was poor although had flavour. The fine dining had gone but the high prices were still there.

I love my food and I love curry so came into Anoki to celebrate a family birthday. As soon as you walk in you sense the difference compared to other places. We had starters which were mind blowing followed by lamb, chicken and daal curries which were sublime. Authentic and mouth watering. The setting is splendid, really comfortable seats , large tables and loved the decor along with the small touches. There have a huge choice of drinks and you have to try the desserts. Big mention to the attentive staff and the host who made us feel special. Highly recommended.

How about getting fine-dining cuisine delivered straight to the front door?Enjoyed this lovely meal in the comfort of my home, ordered via Uber eats.We ordered Paneer Tikka Masala, Garlic Naan and Peshawri NaanCurry was mild and flavorful. Tasted different from traditional Indian curries.Naans were soft and nice. I tried Peshawari Naan for the first time and it was an absolute coconut-y delight. Please like if you found this helpful ✨Follow me for more ❤️

Lovey staff and setting was beautiful. They were so understanding and sweet to let my 2 year old make a slight mess at the table. Service was lovely and food was nice. Not too loud and very calm with an ambiance feel to it. It was our first time there so it was a nice experience.

This is one of the best experiences I’ve had at a restaurant the aesthetic and cleanliness was great with very attentive and caring service. The food was exceptional all round from starter to dessert, the highlight for me definitely being the chicken tikka (off the boneand the kulfi.

Considering the price, very overrated place, they have set courses where starter and main is 30 odd £ and you’re meant to get unlimited popadums and chutneys but they will do everything in there hand to not bring you a second portion once finished, same as the naan bread. Could name easily 10 other curry restaurants better within 4 mile radius

Please read, Anoki is head and shoulders the best service and Asian food I have had... bear in mind ( and excuse me name droppinglast week we ate in a top Padstow Restaurant owned by a great chef and both had their fish curries, this was without doubt better all ways round. I cant speak highly enough about their welcoming manner, attention to detail and the whole experience was 1st class. The food was fresh, the team really brought in to us and recommended dishes and really made it something special and offered great value for money

Overpriced compared to other Indian restaurants in the area without an improvement in quality. The pickles that come with the poppadoms were very basic, lacking any imagination. The curries were ok, but portions are small. We were overcharged until we challenged the bill. They have 3 or 4 "deals" that go on simultaneously, that mean you could get 3 or 4 different totals on your bill, so be aware. It seems to be deliberately misleading. If you significantly increase prices, the quality needs to improve vs. the competition. It has not. Roughly £40-£50 a head, so quite expensive.

Always a pleasure coming here with its nice atmosphere and pleasant surroundings. Faz the owner is hospitable and the staff generally are polite and aim to make this an experience, which is ultimately the aim of this restaurant.. There are other places, but they do not quite offer the complete experience where you can just lose your self amongst the ambience and most importantly good food.Although it does not have parking (you might be lucky and get a space outside on the roadthere is an overpriced NCP in the top of the road. Despite this, still a gem that maintains its character.

After some days in Nottingham we decided to try an Indian restaurant and Anoki was a great surprise. The staff is very familiar, they help us to choose our dishes. The place is quite particular, the furniture and the way they are dressed. Of course the food is great, we enjoy each dish. They have some offers in a fixed schedule.

Coming straight from dance lessons, followed by the ice rink, and seeing the stunning decor, I immediately felt a bit underdressed. However, I was greeted very warmly by the manager and led to a table. The tastefully decorated dark wooden panels create a feeling of privacy between the tables. When presented with the menu, many options looked very tempting so I just asked for a nice lamb dish and was ensured I would get some excellent lamb. The food and the service was excellent. Before ordering I received the crisp like bread and sauces, complementary on the house. Definitely recommend - one of the high notes of my visit to Nottingham.

Absolutely brilliant and lively place. The staff are awesome and polite and very very friendly. I visited this place for my wifes birthday. They made it a day to be remembered forever. The food us very delicious. Most of the restaurants wont give their customers to customise the dishes. But this restaurant gives food the way we ask it. Brilliant. Love to visit this place again.

Nice authentic Indian food. Lovely ambiance setting and friendly staff. Located in centre of Nottingham near the Nottingham Ice Arena. If u got a gourmet card or taster card then this can be utilised however u must state u want to use this when booking a table. NCP car park around the corner for parking if required. This is an above average rating resturant, hence reflected in the prices but then again its worth a visit on special occasions.

Anoki Restaurant is now maybe one of my top 5 restaurants in the world to dine. Soon as i walked in my waiter, Akram, treated me like the Prince of India. He didnt look down on me by hiodie and sweatpants attire nor did he judge me because I was dining alone. He was very knowledgeable of all the foods on the menu and smiled often making me feel like we knew each other from elementary school. Then the big boom - the food! I ordered Spicy King Prwan Madras, Mix Vegetable Karahi, and Pluiel Rice. With Green Tea and water for drinks.Every bite were like mini orgasm in my mouth. Delicious on top of delicious! Although, I have to watch the amount of food eat because Im in training for my Maurice film roll. I couldnt stop myself. For a moment in time I lacked the disciple or the internal parenting to make myself put the damn fork down! I had planned on ditching the rice and only eating some of the prawn and veggies and taking the rest back to my hotel room. But by the time I looked up from my plate it was ground zero.In England no tipping is allowed or included. But for the small moment I was the Prince of India - I had to tip big. I doubled my bill.Thank you Anoki, Akram, and the rest of the staff.

If you are looking for a fine dining experience and want a curry then Anoki is a good choice. It is located in Nottinghams Lace market district with easy access from the city centre and public transport. Both the venue and the staff uniforms are authentic and adds to the experience. The food is excellent and there is a choice between the set menu or a la carte menu, The service is great and friendly and the prices are good.
