Very poor maintenance. Science experimental instruments are fully damaged. Washrooms, park are useless. Even kids dont enjoy the 3D show. Campus needs immediate renovation.

Anna Science Centre is established for the cause of educating young generation and general public on the objectives of Tamil Nadu Science and Technology Centre. The Centre hosts Science and Technology Halls with various exhibitions and also a planetarium.It is located in the Indian city of Tiruchirappalli,[1] on the National Highway 210 between Trichy and Pudukottai adjacent to the Tiruchirapalli Airport. The Nearest Railway Station is Tiruchirappalli Junction located in 5 km. The Planetarium is well connected through City buses.

Pathetic show. No upgradation in last 15 years

The place was great.The show and planetarium was worth it.But the park was in very bad condition.It was overtaken by a species that endangered our ecosystem.

Maintenance is too bad. The theatre and shows needs upgrade.Planetarium Show:High valued projector is used in planetarium. The show about planets in solar system is good. The sky affect is awesome.The Story narration should consider viewer experience. Any story narration will be driven by audio and video together. But here it is driven by audio with slide shows on various planets. Audio and video can sync provide good experience. It is missing now.The animation part needs an upgrade. Cant NIT members helps on this?3D Theatre:The 3D show starts with roller coaster ride followed by Horror Story. Somehow it is not on par with the show provided in private theatres (within shopping mall. This theatre surely needs to be upgraded.Parks in Planetarium:1Half of "Evolution park" is submerged in water. Not sure fishing activity is allowed :)2Environment Gallery ground floor is in water. So they switched off the power. Though it has good information, we couldnt enjoy much.3Herbal park maintenance is very poor. We dont see much herbal plants over there.4Science Park maintenance is poor.Government after spending several crores/lakhs of rupees in this initiative not sure why it is failed in maintenance.The prevailing poor maintenance brings up question on did planetarium officials are really sincere at their work? Do they really care about their working environment and quality of work?It is a great disappointment on that day.<b>Anna planetarium in trichy surely needs government attention.</b>

Good place to visit for children below 10 yrs... Planetarium and 3d show are good..Poor maintanence of scientific realisation equipments..Can plan for 2.5 hours from 10 a.m to 12.30 p.m

2D show is Good for learning for kids and extraordinary..3D worst experience..parks need to be upgraded ...but for this entry fee its more than enough

ASC needs lot of maintenance work.Evolution Park is poorly maintained.Restroom cleaning to be improved.Bilingual signages are excellent.3D Theatre and Sky Theatre are niceWeight on each planet is not workingGardner can be appointed to take care of gardenInstruments and equipments installed to explain the various principles in physics are in damaged condition.Planetarium shows are only in Tamil availability right now as software updation of English is not done as per the version of the staff.Severely understaffed, only some security persons managing the whole centre.If all the things are maintained well, definitely useful for the kids to understand science in a simple way. Because most of kids nowadays want to be an astronauts!

This is one of the must visit place especially for kids to quench the thirst for science and knowledge. The theater and planetarium are really a treat to the visitors and the experience cannot be described fully in words. The parks and replica of the old age species are awesome. The entry fee charged by the administration is very reasonable. The Astro apparatus are required to be maintained regularly. The planetarium can accommodate reasonable crowd with ample space for car parking.

The only one of such type in Trichy city. Thats why I gave 4 star.There are many Science exhibits Indoor and outdoor, but most are in ignored condition and not working.

Good place to visit with kids to learn about the universe by watching the planetarium show in air-conditioned environment, enjoying 3D theatre and a shaded dinosaur park. Shaded with trees, parking available and a small snackateria. You can spend around 3 hours. Definitely good but lacks few maintenance.

Due to unavailability of staffs many demo instruments are kept in locked condition.If feel it is waste of time.

Summer Science camp take place in Anna planetarium. Its amazing and enlightening young minds.

Planetarium was amazing feels great to know something new .3D Shows is nice and kids surely like it.Park was filled with ancestral creatures good place to spend some times with kids.Forget about the mosquito bites inside theatre and enjooooooooy the show😋.

Good place to hangout during holidays. Kids will love this place. There are Parks inside with swing s and slides. 3d show and space show will be shown. Separate fee for parking. There is a dinosaur park inside and a canteen. It is situated near trichy airport.museum is also there dispaying solar system, planets,rockets,etc. Good place to spend time.

The 3D show is horrible for small children. They should have shown something real or informative. Otherwise it is fun and knowledgeable

The Anna Science Centre, Tiruchirapalli was established by the Government of Tamil nadu and was inaugurated on 10 June 1999.The planetarium is located on the National highway 210 between Trichy and Pudukottai adjacent to the Tiruchirapalli Airport.The planetarium has an "Environment Gallery" which exhibits themes related to Eco systems, Bio-geochemical cycles, Bio-diversity and Conservation. The Science Centre has many three dimensional films like "Shark Island", Magic Shows, Roller Coaster etc. The planetarium also has "Vigyan Prasar", an Edusat Facility and "Try Science – Around the World", a system that has details about the science centres in more than 50 countries.An Evolution Park has been added recently portraying Flora and Fauna of the three major periods of Evolution namely the Triassic, Jurassic and Cretaceous periods.The planetarium has shows in both Tamil  and English.Tamil shows will be at 10.30 am, 1.00 pm and 3.30 pm.In English shows will be at 11.45 am, 2.15 pm and 4.45 pm.

A must visit place for Science/Astronomy enthusiastic kids. For all the trichy city lovers, dont miss this place. You will know our solar system, lunar system, universe...etc everything in this place

Anna Science Planetarium is a wonderful place to learn basic astrophysics for young children and adolescents people.

Excellent and must visit place for school going students especially 6th, 7th and 8th grade students. Summer and Winter camps available. Night Sky study is really interesting, if its not cloudy.

Enquire timings before u plan on specified day. Totally 2 to 3 hrs u can spend there. Just basic dont expect too much.

Each show is for 40 min and in English or tamil language. . So enquire about the show timing ang language. . There is a botanical garden nearby and it is also good. .

Wen I was a kid I remember watching some great shows there, but it luks like a haunted house now.....
