MoreWhat a wonderful experience! The cheetahs are amazing but make sure you allow time to see all of the animals. Nicole was a brilliant guide and shared her passion for animal welfare and conservation in a very positive way.
MoreAmazing work that the Ann can Dyk Cheetah Centre does for Endangered Species. Loved the Cheetah run and tour of the facility. Especially going into the Wild Dogs and Cheetah enclosures.
MoreVery nice experience. Trained and enthusiastic staff. An opportunity to see animals up close in a protected environment led by people who love them as if they were part of a big family

MoreINCREDIBLE EXPERIENCE so close to PTA and JHB. Nicole and Monyai were great guides. They had so many more animals than expected and I learnt a lot. Highly recommended and keep up the great work. Thank you.
MoreWe had an amazing experience at the sanctuary, it was amazing to see cheetahs, wild dogs, honey badgers and many other animals so close. The staff are very friendly and our tour guide was very knowledgeable, throughout the tour there was always interaction. Would definitely recommend to anyone who has a chance to visit them.
MoreYou guys do such great work, thanks for the fun tour!
This was an absolute amazing experience! You have to put this on your bucketlist! Best experience I had. Samuel was our tour guide and he aced it! He made jokes, kept you interested and never hurried you. Hes information was spot on! We went for the cheetah run and guided tour for R480 per person. 3 cheetahs do the run so you have enough time to take the correct and best video. They dont only have cheetahs, there are so much more. During the guided tour we drove on an open vehicle and they fed the wild dogs, hyena and cheetahs. They have vultures and also smaller animals. The animals are in good condition! Perfect for a couple or for the whole family! Best day I had in a long time! Thanks you Cheetah Center.
MoreWhat an exhilarating and educational experience! The staff is very knowledgeable and passionate about the animals. We learned so much about cheetahs, wild dogs, hyenas, and conservation initiatives during the tour. Highly recommended.
MoreAwesome experience with my family. We learnt a few new things about the wildlife at the facility and the purpose of the facility.
MoreWhat a great experience! Saw so many animals up close, absolutely breathtaking.

MoreWe had an amazing day here. What a beautiful initiative , to help endangered species. Our guide Jason was awesome. We learnt so much. Prices were really affordable. This is a none profit organisation, so they rely heavily on sponsorships and tours. The animals are all well taken care of and the staff were well trained and kind towards them. My family and I had so much fun.I will definitely return. The Ann van Dyk Cheetah Centre – De Wildt (Originally the De Wildt Cheetah Research Centrewas the first establishment in the world to breed captive cheetahs on a sustainable basis and was the firstCites approved cheetah breeding facility in the world. The aim of the Centre is to maintain a viable genetic pool of not only the cheetah but also the African wild dog (second most endangered carnivore in Africa), for release back into their natural habitat as and when space becomes available.
MoreDefinitely worth a tour. Informative staff and Centre/animals are well kept. Was very educational. Will go back again!

MoreWhat a tremendous place for any nature lover to visit....take the 2 hour game drive and your camera for some super pics....the guides and management are ALL fantastic and superbly knowledgeable of Cheetahs and Wild dogs and ++++
MoreThe reserve is an awesome place where Cheetahs are bred in captivity and used for research. They offer guided tours to the visitors, providing useful information on the life and habits of the cheetahs. The place is awesome and easily accessible from Pretoria. I visited the place a few years back, and it was well organised and nicely maintained.
MoreAbsolutely beautiful!!! We had a wonderful guide named Zama, he was very informative and answered all questions. Will definitely recommend a visit to the Ann van Dyk Cheetah Centre
MoreTook my Mother for her 65th birthday and it was absolutely an amazing experience to see the animals especially the Cheetahs 😁 The staff are really helpful and the have a shop where you can buy a few souvenirs. I would definitely recommend this place if your an animal lover🦁🐆🐅🐯
MoreFantastic experience, diligent and caring staff and showing real care. Saw the cheetah run and drive. Highly recommend. Thank you Jason, Phinias snd all staff!
MoreFantastic place with amazing guides. Meet the cheetah ambassador and others. Take the guided tour of the various animals and the wild dogs. This place does incredible work in education and rescue. Not cheap but well worth it, especially knowing you are supporting a genuine organisation.
MoreThe Ann van Dyk Cheetah Center provides an opportunity to view and learn more about cheetahs, wild (painteddogs, vultures and other species under threat at their rescue, rehabilitation, and breeding center. Located a short drive north from Pretoria, a typical visit may include watching keepers exercise the cheetahs on a morning run, feeding rounds, and a tour of all animals currently in their care. Very reasonably priced, visitors will find immaculate grounds, a staff eager to educate, and well kept restroom facilities. Donations are encouraged and, unlike many other facilities claiming to be conservators, this is the real deal - this facility exists to serve the current and future well being of cheetahs and wild dogs. A "must see" if visiting the Pretoria area.
MoreThank you for the excellent tour today, i really enjoyed it. The tour guide was friendly, informative and helpful.
MoreThis is a fantastic day out! The animals are well cared for and happy. The guides are knowledgeable and full of interesting facts. This is worth the visit.

A must visit for wildlife enthusiasts with limited time available. Family friendly environment with special acticities like wild dog feeding, cheetah interaction and cheetah run. The work Ann has done over the years is continuing to bear fruit.
MoreWonderful opportunity to see endangered species.
I took UK relatives visiting South Africa for the first time and following a successful visit to Kruger. We all enjoyed the cheetah centre as it complemented our Kruger visit well - we saw up close many of the animals we hadn’t seen there including cheetahs of course but also wild dogs (we all enjoyed them), meerkats, honey badge and vultures. Our guide Keisha was excellent and we learned so much from her. Well worth a visit.
MoreAll I can say is that is really worth it. Awesome experience, the one that stood out the most was the interaction with the wild dogs. Theres a café so you can buy stuff before you go on the trip. Will definitely go again
MoreEnjoyed the visit tremendously. The tour was very informative and guides were knowledgeable. The centre is doing amazing work in educating the public about endangered and vulnerable animals.
MoreFantastic, informative, thrilling... Dont miss out on this experience!
Lovely place.very friendly and loved the cheetah tour
Super fun and very informative. Went to the early morning cheetah run so that we could experience a cheetah at high speed which was amazing. Most of the animals are rescues or being bred for release into the wild which makes it a guilt-free experience. Being surrounded (in the truck)by the wild dog pack in hunting mode was absolutely spectacular.
MoreA very well maintained non-profit nature reserve, run by staff who are passionate about the preservation of all animals.Their game drives are very interesting and extremely informative. The Cheeta run - shows the unbelievable speed of the wild cat right in front of your eyes.
MoreWhat a great experience we had. They really take good care of these animals and make a difference in wildlife conservation. The money spent is worth it and the animals are beautiful.
MoreWe had a fantastic time on our tour of the sanctuary, our guide was very knowledgeable and he kept the tour interesting. I especially loved being able to get so close to so many of the animals. I highly recommend people visit the sanctuary as they do some incredible work.
MoreAmazing rescue, breeding, rehabilitation and successful return to the wild of a variety of animals including cheetahs and wild dogs (also known as painted dogs). Highly knowledgeable guides provide close encounters and excellent detailed information about the various animals.
MoreThe tour is very informative and we learnt a lot. The tour guides are very knowledgeable.
MoreWonderful experience. Went to see Cheetahs... Wasnt disappointed. Came back with a love for wild dogs and vultures too.
MoreGreat outing for the day. Enjoyed seeing all of the different wildlife up close. It was fantastic to see how passionate the team is about preserving our wildlife. Highly recommended!
MoreMust say, with 30 years experience as a Safari Guide in Southern Africa, I really enjoyed doing the 3hr tour with my 10 year old son Christopher, through the facilities and surrounding farm recently.Last visit was many years ago and I was amazed at how far and well run the set-up had become......I would most certainly revisit with my International clients in future, and my son wishes to return ASAP...The Guide was very informative, well spoken and was a asset to-wards what the centre is representing. Many Thanks !! And keep up the good work !!!
