Anker Brygge in Svolvaer

There is a pub in the first floor of the "suite" and the shack was shaking from the bass in the floor below. The music kept blasting until 4 in the morning, and then another half hour of people chanting. Good luck getting any sleep in this place.

Great place with amazing views. Nice accommodation, clean rooms, clean bathroom. Breakfast the best with full of fishes and other delicious sets of food.

The restaurant has no vegetarian options, and little taste on the things we tested; fish burger and mussles. Sad, cause the view was great.

Good Food service is a nightmare.

The place is very cozy and nice. Probably one of the best spots in Svolvaer in Summer to spend an evening with friends or just chill. A mention to the staff, always available and smiling, even with funny jokes 😁.

Nice placr, good breakfast (even with covid restrictions). But the old houses have bad air quality (open all windows immediately after you arrive). Also the parking is public and can be very full.

Clean and nice. We booked the hotel mainly because of access to sauna, and got to know that sauna was closed due to Corona situation AFTER we arrived and asked how it works.

Great place to eat, drink and stay.

We spent an excellent couple of hours in here today whilst waiting for our boat. The barman was friendly and spoke perfect English, the beer was cold and the fire was warm. We didnt eat, but for what we did have it couldnt have been better.

Now this is a comfortable place to stay, must be loved by anyone. With a stunning view and some activity around, but still very peaceful and quiet.

Very bad service. Girls at the bar not even caring about what they doing, not proffesional service.Place is on an epic place, great location IN svolvaer, beautiful views to the harbor. But they need to step up their staff game. Its been like this everytime i visited. Probably dont wanna pay experienced staff and do not give their staff proper training.I do work in hospitality business so I know something about this. Choose your staff wisely

Been with my family at the restaurant "Kjøkkenet" highly recommended. Cosy place with nice staff. Their menu is not huge, but they serve well prepared food. This is a taste of local cuisine. Not cheap, but well worth it.

It was really nice, rooms were really cute and staff is lovely, great location, just across the street is the mist incredible restaurant and if you ask the manager hell recommend it

6 nights in Lofoten, we were here for 3 of them. A great pub with good beer and food choice and excellent service in a unique atmosphere. Cheaper than the more expensive set menu restaurants if youre on a little more of a budget. The nacho pizza is amazing!

We stayed here on winter, 1st February, 4 adults with 4 young children (8,5,3 years old and 8-months old baby)For our pax, we need to book to Rorbu. One Rorbu can accept only 4-5 person including kids.Svolvaer was a bit warmer than Oslo. Oslo was -9C while Svolvaer was only -1 to -3.The Rorbu was very cosy. The interior was classy with chrismassy-like color (green and red colors)Our Rorbu has picturesque view, facing the water. Very lovely view during sunrise, sunset, and all the time.There was 2 bedrooms, one downstairs and one upstairs. Each bedroom has its own toilet. Very neat and clean.There was also a small kitchen with attached dining table. The kitchen is complete with cooking utensils and dishwasher.The living room was cosy.Our kids love it because its so much easy for them to play the snow. They play with the snow just in front of our Rorbu. Just dress up and go out of the door.The snow was thick everywhere.They also provide great selections of breakfast.Alhamdulillah also to our surprise we also met the bright green and purple aurora on our first night here!It was at nearly 7pm, while looking for our busy kids playing with snow, slowly the aurora came in the sky.It became much clearer by the hour.I still cant believe it that we were able to watch the amazing beautiful green and purple aurora just in front of our Rorbu while the kids are happily playing with snow.At 9-10 pm the aurora came much much clearer and dance in the sky.We really like Anker Brygge. Our favorite for Svolvaer visit!

Visited this beautiful place and wonderful accommodation with my parents back in 2010. Easily accessible by car, this accommodation boasts comfort and breathtaking views. Just make sure to book in advance. We cannot wait to go back.

We booked 2 cabins and enjoyed our stay. The cabin is beautiful and comfy with 2 bedrooms ensuite with bathroom each. Nice view from the balcony, staff was friendly, its worth for it.

Amazing accomodation in Svolvær!!! The Rorbu is a typical house of Lofoten islands and all the rooms are well designed and very comfortable.

Very good, friendly reception, beautiful Robu with full equipped ,I love it.

We went for dinner very good meal and nice place

The Bar looks superb. The Barkeeper was extremley nice, offered an elder lady from outside a tea and brought her in as it started raining.

Michelin Guide etc has this as a 5 star hotel. It clearly is not, by the European standard (crappy gas station soap, no room service), but that aside it is totally fine. Rustic charm. Go as a family to appreciate the value of the shared common areas.

The meals and service at the restaurant was nice. The room looked clean, but used cooking instruments were in the dishwasher, probably from previous gusts and kitchen wasnt professionally cleaned. The hotel has bar & karaoke which is closed at 2:30am and was unbelievable noisy...depends on the location of the room. We claimed about it to reception twice during the night, but situation didnt change until they closed and all gests left(about 3 am, but my partner couldnt sleep until 4am). Also we couldnt talk about it to reception in person due to our early check out. So we send an email to the hotel, they offer to free stay...I dont think many people can back to Lofoten so often...anyway, we sent back an email and wrote that we dont think we could back there soon and the price we payed for the night wasnt worth it, also they didnt mention about the noise at all. We havent had answer after all.

Amazing breakfast and amazing apartments.

Made a quick stop for a beer on a wet day in Svolvaer. Beer good, barman friendly. Lots of old features, wooden beams, etc.

Not easy to accommodate yourself on these parts of the town this place is always booked because occupy nice location inside beautiful historical building rooms very nice decorate the place has restaurant and bar rest on the site that serves cocktails on the downstairs at reception you have facility area and utility shop with Norwegian crafts and hand knitted jumpers and hats good selection of souvenir

Good Fishermens cabins, friendly staff, very nice location.

Very cosy place. Magnificent views. Nice mini apartments with kitchen and sofas. Ideal for friends, groups, families or couples. You can park your car directly in front of the cabins. Very good breakfast with cereals, bread, waffles, cheese, ... staff was very friendly.

Ive been to many milf bars in the few years I spent on earth but Anker Brygge tops the list without doubt. Recommend it strongly!!

Really enjoyed this place. Great accommodations. Stayed in cabin #16. With in walking distance of several restaurants. Breakfast was very good.

Friendly, cozy place with very tasty food. Fish is a must! Try Bokna fish. You will not be disapointed.

Very nice place, beautifull view. However during our stay there was a festival in the middle of the place, resulting in drunk people pissing against our door.

Luxury fisherman’s cabins (rorbueron a tiny island in the harbour!Conveniently located in the heart of the waterfront district on a little island accessible by car/pedestrian bridge, with free parking available.We had a large and comfortable cabin (no. 232Awith a cosy feel (see my attached photos), boasting full kitchen and living room with nice views over the water and towards the nearby mountains.The staff were very friendly and helpful.Would definitely recommend staying here, much more charm than one of the big hotels.I will also highly recommend the restaurant “Kjøkkenet”RegardsSvein-Magne Tunli from Bergen, Norway.
