Fun event of a whodunnit mystery. Lot of artifacts, and knowledge. Volunteers were exceptionally friendly and have a great desire to share what they know.

There is nothing interesting about Ankeny. The items that they display have not been changed since they first built it. Also ruined my birthday and my life.

We had a wonderful time at the Christmas scavenger hunt that the Ankeny Area Historical Society out on this year. The kids got to learn and have fun. We hope they will do it again next year.

This is a great place to learn about the history of Ankeny and surrounding communities. Consisting of a house and barn, each room is filled with artifacts. Make sure to check out the basement. They have displays on the first and second world wars. Overall, a great place with great people to teach the story of Ankeny.
