Love the burger wish they used better bacon, not the stuff out of the box heated up

Delicious local burger joint. We travel often and love stopping into these local eateries. This one did not disappoint. We had burgers with bacon and bbq sauce. Quick service with a smile.

For a frozen patty it was large, buns were appropriately sized. The burger was fairly tasteful, but nothing to jump out of your seat for. The fries ... Well momma said if you have nothing good to say, keep quiet. They were hot. Service was friendly and the atmosphere was good. It is a busy place. The price paid, north of $11 for a cheeseburger was a bit steep for what I got.

Im always looking for great burger places. Seeing the reviews here, I thought this place would be great. The patties are pre-formed, giving the cooked burger less juice and not a great texture. The flame on the burger helps. It is not a bad burger at all, but not great either. The fries are ok. The workers are friendly. The place had many customers. It is a popular place, just not the place for me.

The burgers and onion rings are great but pricey. You get what you pay for!

BEST burger Ive gotten in years! This was our first visit and certainly wont be our last. I got the "Quarter" and it was excellent. My wife got the "Voo Doo" chicken sandwich and she said it was good too, very tender and tasty. She asked for it " NO mayo or tomatoes" and got it exactly as requested. The fries were very good too, not at all greasy and nice and crispy. The staff is friendly and personable. I had seen some negative comments about the volume of the music on the stereo but we didnt find it bad. Quaint little shop with great food served quickly. My only negative was that they dont have Coke Zero but thats very minor. I was fine with Diet Coke which they had. On the day we stopped in, their internet was down so they were only taking cash. They had a sign outside stating so, which was a nice touch.We highly recommend Anitas if youre in the area and jonesing for a good burger! Even if youre not in the area, its worth the drive for sure.

Small, dimly lit and oddly cozy with the type of music playing ( alternative ? ). Great funky vibe. Energetic counter service. And really good burger - and that is as without a bun ( unfortunately I had to ). Definitely coming back.

OMG! The best steak burgers in town. Yummy to our tummy! I go broke just to buy a random person their burger so they can smile ear to ear while just eating it like I do. This place has me feeling like plankton off of spongebob. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!

Prices have increased beyond the justification of a mediocre burger. Grumpys down Hwy 90 to the West has a great burger for a fair price and youre not eating a frozen patty thats been heated up !!!!!

This is a burger not to miss! Dont let the decor fool you, the food is good. Cant wait to go back again.

Im not a burger person, but it was pretty good. The people with me agree theirs was good. They were out of the roast beef. Guess thats a reason to go back! Only wish they had the nacho cheese for the fries.

Burgers fries and a coke.

DO NOT go to this place if you enjoy mediocre burgurs, a stale atmosphere and poor service! This place RUINED me! Because after just one burger from here, you will look down on all other burger joints!! I got off work late one night and Anitas was closed so I went to a different burger joint. All I could think after getting my burger from the other place was that it was pathetic. Anitas has the absolute best burgers and the people in there are absolutely friendly! But thanks to them, now I shall never be satisfied with the burgers from my hometown..... And one more thing. Add the Pattons hot sausage patty to your burger. Trust me on this!

First time eating here today. I called in an order for us and went pick up. Tiny little place with a bang of a tasty burger! Music was going and 4 employees were busy with orders during lunch. Glad my coworker suggested it.

This place is the real deal. I went with three friends and coworkers, we are from out of town. We ccole purely off the reviews online. I ended up ordering the pivot and onion rings. I couldnt ebtget to the pivot because my plate was stacked so high with onion rings. My buddies got the burger and one of them couldnt fish it. They have a spicy ketccup and it is perfect.

Great service and atmosphere. Best burgers in the area hands down. Burgers are huge so i feel they are well worth the menu prices. My brother raved about these burgers for years before I stepped foot in this place and when I did I was sad i didnt visit sooner.

Sorry not sorry. These burgers were not made great at all today. With the reviews that are on here, that brought me here, I am soooo disappointed. The buns, not toasted ? What? Why? They were so cold! Then an upcharge on every little thing and servings were way smaller. The burger is big with no flavor. They were frozen like everything else they cooked. And for the price u should be serving fresh ! Point blank period. Burger king is way better. I wont be back even though i always give a 2nd chance i know for fact this place will just disappoint again. They never asked how we liked it in person... and usually if they do, i wont give a review until my 2nd trip. Just so sad and for the people who enjoy it, well i guess u caught them on a good day. Wish i had too. Idk, man i am really upset. I guess cause there were no apologies or concerns that i or my husband would return. Just bad business in my opinion. Oh and p.s. why is the music so loud for such a small space? Is this a dining club experience?

Excellent burgers.....very impressed! By far one of the best burgers I have ever tasted. Was on a field trip at Destrahan plantation and happen to stumble across this burger joint and Im so glad that I did.

Excellent burger. One of the best I’ve had. Really flavorful, huge, juicy and delicious. Onion rings are good too. Really nice people, funky little place.Wish they had fountain beverages but they just have bottled soft drinks and beer.Highly recommend!

The atmosphere of the place is very unique and nice. The burgers are large and very well dressed. The only negative I have is the fries are ok, but nothing special.

What a great Angus beef burger! With a busload of people lining up to order, the staff still got my order correct, and served it hot and fast! My two kids loved the cheese fries! Ill surely be back to try the roast beef and shrimp poboys!!!! Best burger in town!

One one the best burgers Ive ever had and great onion rings. Loved the music too. Youre pretty great if you play the likes of Flogging Molly or Dropkick Murphys in your restaurant. Hard working staff making great food and treating customers right.

11:45 am I called to place an order. Someone said hello and put the phone down to speak to someone else at length. 11:48 Then he said hello again took my order rather rudely for one burger and onion rings and told me that it would be ready at 12:35 - I asked why so long? he said if its ready earlier I would call you. I have ordered before and received courteous service in the past. But today, this person was rude and unreasonable. Who has 45 minutes to wait for a call to pick up lunch? I cancelled the order.

The burgers here are unbelievable. The flavor just resonates in your mouth. There is one guy on the register and 2 guys cooking on two small gas stoves. There isnt much seating. If possible try to call your order in ahead of time, it can get really busy in there. My mouth is watering just thinking of one of those burgers.

Local burgers, local people, super friendly, one of the last places in the area that actually cares about your business. Great atmosphere. My kid would choose Anitas over a happy meal any day since she was 5 years old. Love love love this place. A staple of the community. Even worth the drive across the river if you have the time.

We ordered 2 burgers fries and onion rings. Burgers were perfect, perfectly cooked not dry not greasy great burgers! fries were crispy and delicious. Onion rings were made with real onions and fried to perfection. The cook was awesome on top of orders coming in. He was cooking the food taking orders on phone and in person and delivering the food to the table. We drove from Belle Chasse to try Anitas . We absolutely loved it. We will be back!

Very juicy burgers! Enjoyed both the food and the staff. Everyone was very nice! When Im in the area again they will be on my list of places to go! Good luck on the Poke Stop/Gym! :)

Amazing burgers! Cooked while we waited, SO juicy!! All of our orders correct. Onion rings were awesome. Everything was hot and fresh. Ive placed to-go orders in the past and theyve all been ready quickly.
