We ordered takeout for five people. We tried the manicotti, chicken parm, ravioli, and spaghetti with meatballs. We found it to be average. We didn’t much care for the sauce, and the garlic bread was tough and chewy. We may give it another chance with the pizza, as the photos look fantastic, but we will not order the Italian meals again.

We chose Angios for dinner on a Monday night. We were greeted warmly immediately upon entering the restaurant. We were promptly seated at a table with more than enough room for our party of 7 and drink orders were taken. The menu was on the small side, but we didnt mind that at all. There was a nice selection of pasta favorites, sandwiches and pizza options. All pastas could be customized to personal preference. It was a pleasant surprise that Mondays were kids eat free nights. After ordering, our food was delivered quickly, at perfect temperatures, the server was very attentive and had the warmest personality, and we had an overall great experience here. I would definately come back to dine again at Angios!

Consistent, good service and product. We miss Angios in the old location, but still go to the new one.

I ordered a pasta dinner for 40 people from Angio’s. The pasta was a big hit, especially the chicken Alfredo. The pan was brought out hot and included a large amount of food.

My family and I have been coming here for 25+ years since the original Bucheul location. We love the jumbo cheeseburger pizza, salads, manicotti, cheese cubes... everything! Highly recommend!

Awful. Gave me overcooked rigatoni noodles and no sauce. The noodles were falling apart and the container was half full. Won’t order again. Terrible. For $36, I expect better. This business was less than helpful also. Didn’t even offer a replacement and told me to call Grubhub to resolve.

Awesome pizza the only bad thing I have to say is when we opened the pizza it had slid but other then that awesome pizza and service will order again

I got the Deluxe Pizza and it was hot and tasty. Very filling for my family. Will definitely be back to try other items on the menu.

All the 4 and 5 star reviews HAVE to be fake. This place is the Arbys version of “Italian food.” Wouldn’t eat here again if my life depended on it.

Food was mediocre. Service was decent, except the person delivering food to our table didn’t know what dishes she had in her hand. Couldn’t tell the difference between lasagna and manicotti. Called the ravioli “rigatoni”, and overall just seemed very confused. The beers we ordered were not what we received due to a new keg of a different type of beer being hooked up to an old tap. They did comp the beer to cover for the confusion. Overall, not an impressive experience.

Ive eaten here many times and it was good but today the spice in the sauce was so hot it wasnt good

We ordered 5 jumbo pizzas, and nothing was leftover. Everyone loved the pizza. We will be back! Thank you!

The Chicken Alfredo was delicious and piping hot, as was the garlic bread. I always get an extra side of Alfredo for leftovers and got a good portion for just $1.25. Excellent lunch, thanks!

Good not great. Service was good . Ordered the cheeseburger pizza seemed light on ground beef and heavy on onions. Just not the pie I remembered.

I got there and the place was packed, But I was seated in the party room with my buddy. We both ordered pizza. I got the Meat and More. I have had a lot of pizza, but this was the best I ever had. I highly recommend this restaurant. The food is awesome, and the service was excellent. A 5 star rating, something I have NEVER done before.

I’ve recently gotten the takeout and let me say this is the best pizza in town. Also try the BIG DAVE. Especially if you like sauerkraut, like me. Good prices and fast friendly service in a clean comfortable environment. Never had a bad experience at Angio’s! Always delicious and consistent! Highly recommend!

I tried it for the first time yesterday for lunch. I got the chicken alfredo.. It was really good. The service was quick enough for lunch during the work day. I will definitely be going back. The food was hot and fresh. The atmosphere was pleasant and welcoming.

Staying at near by hotel. Great pizza. Delivery person very pleasant. Yummy

Absolutely incredible. First, service was super nice, we had a larger party and called ahead and they set us aside two whole rooms! When they took our order our server was nice and very funny, she also brought us our drinks in massive beer glasses (we had root beer). Then when we ordered, it was definitely the most affordable Italian in Louisville, my order (the Chicken Parmwas only abt $11 with tax, where as everywhere else it would have been about $20. All of my food was cook to order, so it was fresh. The chicken Parm was amazing, probably the best Ive ever had. Highly recommend if you are in Louisville!!!

Kinda disappointed two of my pizza choices weren’t available even though they are still listed on there menu.

More recent review after they moved to Blankenbaker Pkway. Perfect. I love their pizza. The place is open and light. The wait staff is always nice. The kitchen folks are nice as well. Plenty of parking. Smells great. I love this little mom and pop place.Previous review: We have loved this place for years. Their pizza is thee best. The only thing I would do is get the wall in the back on the opposite side of the kitchen replaced(Bardstown Road location.It smells like fish. The waitress told us there was a freezer on the other side of that wall that had leaked and the fish had thawed and puddles on the floor next to that wall. Mopping isnt enough to get the smell out.(they have moved. No more nasty wall. Other than that I love the place and the people.

I just love The Big Dave, but it needs more sauerkraut. It would have been a 5 except more kraut. The delivery is fast and the pizza is awesome

The pizza is amazing, as we eat and watch other foods being delivered to other customers its looks great. Our last few visits we have the fish dinners and they are amazing.

I had the chicken parm delivered to my hotel. The chicken was tender and a large portion. The sauce was tasty but very skimpy.. There was lots of cheese BUT, because it was baked, the noodles here hard and krusty. More sauce might have solved the problem. There was yummy bread but no salad. Didnt get asked if I wanted one and I didnt know it cost extra. Delivery guy was very nice.

Fantastic pizza. We ordered a deluxe and a 4 cheese. The deluxe was so yummy, I couldnt stop eating it. It had just the right amount of sauce (which was deliciousand loaded with a lot of yummy goodies. The 4 cheese was good. It had a nice browned top and loaded with cheese. I cant wait to try their other menu items.

For he most part all was goodIssue with baked spaghettiIt wasntThey took the regular spaghetti; put it in another container; dropped a little cheese on topBarely melted the cheese on top and served itIt was not cooked through and still runny inside like their regular spaghetti

Went for the first time last night, an hour before closing. The garlic cheese bread was a bit undercooked/ not crispy at all- could be due to them rushing to get us out but I’m not sure.We ordered a “thick” pepperoni pizza in which they charge $1 extra for. The only thing “thick” was the outer ring of dough. It was so wide you maybe got two bites of actual pizza with each slice. The pizza itself was pretty thin, but had a good flavor.. just not enough of it!Doubt we will go back. Not a fan.

First time. The food is good and the servers are super friendly. Dine in for a wide range of pasta, subs, and pizza dishes or dine in and enjoy the buffet.

Fantastic hidden gem! First time eating here and it was awesome!For starters something as trivial as a tossed salad was excellent as they use real bacon bits 👍Then a flavorful, huge value lasagna entrée with a side of garlic bread completed my perfect meal here.Service staff had perfect timing and was courteous all the time.The place follows covid separation and is extremely clean and inciting. Plus they have a lunch buffet on weekdays and an all day buffet on Sundays with salad pizza and more. 👍🙌❤

Very Good? Simple, filling, and was worth the trip.My spaghetti, meat balls, and bread was like moms. Very enjoyable atmosphere as well.They have buttered noodles. Sounded good, except, they did not have cracked black pepper. Maybe next time.Lunch News: 11 to 2 is the smorgasbord. Still looking that up? Buffet.

Bitter sweet review here folks, for those of us who grew up with Angios pizza over by GE, the place had superb pizza (maybe the best in Louisvilleout of a hole in the wall old gas station building.The pizza was unique and you could taste the yeast in the dough, the marinara sauce was perfect for the pizza, not to thick and had the amount of taste to match the pie. The pepperonis came out with a bit of curled ends that just came them the right amount of crunch and was the icing on the pie.Today the pizza is a result of a newer location, new ovens, new workers, and more importantly cheaper ingredients to manage cost, just like so many other business you see having to go this direction to just keep the doors open.While the pizza i had today wasnt terrible (no need to break it down), i am afraid the GREATNESS of the past has now been left in the past and in todays food market cost and Covid-19 you have to survive by any means possible.Tom is a great guy and owner, and I appreciate all the years of memories eating at your restaurant for lunch.Thank you.-Dean

The breadsticks were not what I expected; they were not good. Too thin and hard. The servers were nice but seemed unorganized and confused. Ive had better pizza. Likely that I wont go back.

The pizza I got gets 5 stars. However Im biased. My granddaughter works there and she made me the kind of pizza I like. Plenty of sauce, lots of toppings, baked to perfection. Im sure she can make one just like it for you. Tell them you want Mack to make your pie. Way to go honey.

This was my first time here- the service was excellent, food was great! The 3 stars is for the temperature. It was 86 DEGREES and the thermostat had a big note that says “DO NOT TURN THERMOSTAT DOWN.” It was so miserably hot that I decided to order carry out instead of dining in aa planned. I feel so badly for the staff that has to suffer in that heat!! Hey owners- let your staff use the AC. Forcing them to work in that heat is just horrible.

I always order carry-out for lunch. The chef salad and the lunch pasta specials are a terrific bargain. The food is delicious and my order is always correct! Not many places nail to go orders these days. The Friday fish sandwich is amazing and the rye bread is fresh.One day I will go in for the buffet. It always looks good.

My fiancée and I went to Angio’s for dinner the other night and had a great experience. The food was cooked fresh out of the oven. Naturally, it took a little longer, but it appeared as if everything had literally just been prepared rather than sitting around. Overall, everything we ate was great, the staff was super friendly, and I love the simple, local business atmosphere it had.I would definitely recommend Angio’s for a nice low key Italian meal and to support a local business.

I use to work at Angios 25 years ago when the owner was a delivery driver. I am so happy they have move closer to where I live now. Been a long time since I have eaten there.The pizza is still the best in Louisville and so much more to choose from. Good job Smitty!!!!!

I ate their food when they were at their old location. At the time, I worked near there and it was absolutely delicious. Now I work on the east end and I was really happy to hear that they have moved out here. Ive ordered from them a couple of times at this location when I want to feed some hungry employees. Great pizza. Great sandwiches. Great delivery driver. Everyone loves it. Im about to give you guys a call today. I have a crew here at work that has made me look good with their hard work this week and Im going to reward them with pizza.

The staff has always been very kind and helpful when we’ve dine in. When we’ve had carry out the food has always been ready and just as ordered. The food has always been tasty and is our favorite pizza in town. We had never had their pizza until they moved locations and we are so lucky to have them nearby. Keep up what you guys have been doing!

Great food and good service. The lasagna is awesome and it comes out hot. Good friendly vibe. The kids meals are also very generous portions.
