Anella Olímpica - Sports complex in Mataro, Spain
A place that would not missed if you visit Spain Barcelona
Sports complex adjacent Olympic stadium
Closed to public. Waste of time.
Beautiful views of a lightning storm! Definitely coming back for a sunset soon!
Looked very grand. Met an oversized Asuka there for some reason, too. So be aware of that if you wish to visit!
Beautiful site, a must visit. You can still feel the vibes from Barcelona Olimpic games 1992
Amazing architecture. The whole place has some kind of a 70s or 80s Sci-Fi-Design/Atmosphere to it.
I love Olympic moment, especially this one. Huge one
Nice open place.
Great place for a walk on a sunny day
Lovely place for a Morning run on a rainy day!
nice walk around a very huge and massive place.. Free entrance, worth to stop by.
Amazing view and great place for running and exercises!
Beautiful sunset on Montjuic
Really beautiful
Its an open and great space, you can make a nice picnic, walk and take the sun laying down in the grass.
One of my favorite places in Barcelona! Definitely go there and watch the sunset!
Definitely worth the walk, gorgeous and not crowded
Nice views. Impressive campus
Wonderful views
a beautiful moment in the history of the 1992 Olympic Games
Very cool place with great views!
Must visit this place
Nice place to do sport/chill with friends and enjoy the sunset from up there
This place is a must, huge areas to walk around, great views of the city from above, beautiful sunsets. Deffinetly bring your dog/s here if you have them :). A great weekend plan. Also perfect place to exercise
Nice experience to walk around the historical place.
Super nice place to chill, do sports or whatever
Nice Place to spend Sunday afternoon. The tower looks amazing with the deep blue sky in the background!
Come here early morning, or late evening... or during a sunny afternoon ... you will always feel here alone and lonely OR THE ONLY ONE! It is futuristic, has a beautiful view to a dirty city beneath and the peaceful sea and sun. Here you can make nice and cteative pictures of trembling water in swimming pools. Try not to miss a little Garden of Acclimatisation.
I love this olimpic atmosphere. Legends of the sport have been here on the past. Really good vibes.
Simply spectacular! Large plaza beautifully designed, surrounded by olympic sport facilities . The views are well worth a visit!
Great place to have a scoot around with a toddler during covid restrictions
Disappointed that it’s not open but google map showing it’s 24hours. But worth to go for a walk in the park, so comfortable!
Brilliant place, you can enjoy the power of this village!
An area that too many people overlook but I feel it is worth to visit, it might feel a bit empty but it also offers a wonderful space to walk and views to the two arenas.
The sports complexes on Montjuic are still in use almost 30 years after the Olympic games were held here in 1992 and its good to see the area being well maintained, easy to get to from behind the MNAC and its a good place to wander around enjoying the sights and views
Amazing location which hosted plenty of the Olympic disciplines in 1992. As of today most of the facilities are well kept and still in use. It is easily accessible from Plaza Espanya (either walking up the hill or taking bus 150), and youll find undoubtedly one of the best panoramic views of the city, together with some green areas and bars. If you plan on visiting Barcelona, it is definitely worth a visit!
The judge place, Park near stadiums.
Ive always wanted to see the site of the 1992 Barcelona Olympics wherein an archer lit the Olympic flame, still gives me goosebumps.
The view is nice. The architecture is okay. Enjoyed visiting this attraction.
So relaxed and easy to get to, wasnt mobbed like most other tourist attractions and great views
Very nice area to hang out with friends, with open spaces. It is also very close to many interesting places, so you can spend hours around.
Its beautiful especially sunset. Not so many people and a relaxing place to spend your afternoon. Very close to the Magic Fountain.
Very nice indeed, we used the Greenline Barcelona guided tour very nice..
One of my favorite parts of Barcelona. The sunset views here over the city and the open surreal space draw me back every week. This is a unique location in Barcelona and the parks surrounding it offer an oasis from the city buzz.
Nice place to hang out a Sunday afternoon, really impressive flow, Ill definitely go back to get more info about it.
Nice place to visit if you love sports.
It is a beautiful place to visit in Barcelona. Certainly it is not one of the most popular there but I enjoyed my time there. It is within walking distance from the magical fountain and the national museum. The surrounding is great with beautiful architecture. It is not so crowded and great place to walk around. Worth a visit when you are in Barcelona.
An absolute pleasure of a place for a walk around. Lovely surroundings, quiet and kept clean and tidy. Awesome place to visit whilst in the City. Would highly recommend for a walk around, picnic or even a run.
We stumbled upon the Olympic grounds completely by accident when we got lost between Montjuïc Castle and the Palau Nacional—and it turned out to be one of our favourite places in Barcelona! Not only is the approach to the Olympic stadium incredibly beautiful and monumental, but the communications tower is a wonderful piece of public art and the Plaça Europa at the end of the promenade looks like something out of The Capitol from the Hunger Games movies. They should definitely film something here, it’s a truly spectacular place—especially at sunset!
