Andromeda Hotel in Kalamariá

The rooms are very small, very dark (the walls are painted blackand without the possibility of ventilation (there are no external windows). During the stay in the hotel there was no hot water. They told us during the night that if it doesnt suit us, we can go and look for another hotel. Very old and bad hotel and I will definitely never stay there again.

Great location in the middle of town, clean and helpful staff. We turned up on bicycles and got looked down at a bit. You need good labels to stay here.

I wouldnt recommend this hotel, airconditioners not working properly, we complained to change the room and all the rooms where all the same. Smells like mould and a lot of noises during the night.

Air condition not effective enough to cool down room. Explanation from reception was that its centralized. Reception area was cool and nice, which made me extra annoyed about my hot room.It looks nice from the outside, but the inside is dilapidated. Creaky floors, loud noise from other guests talking.I now see reviews that are several years old complaining about the same, but the hotel seemingly has done nothing other than giving themselves another star.They claim to be 5 stars, but did not meet my expectation from a 3-star hotel.

The hotel is well located, the room was clean and refined.Some problems with the breakfast, asking to the congierge at ceck-in time!

The worst hotel staff i ever encountered. When we made the check in nobody said that we couldnt leave the car in front of the hotel. And when we came back to the hotel they told us to move the car it was 12 o clock in the middle in the night and we couldnt find parking anywhere. And when i said to the receptionist that nobody told me that we cannot park there she said is not true and was telling me that im a liar, after the first encounter where she said i dont understand english. I never met staff member to be this rude. I have worked as a receptionist myself an I cannot imagine what could have happend if i talked to the client the way she talked to me. I hope nobody else has the same experience as me.

The pricing they have on the website is misleading. When I talked to the staff , it took them time to find the availability which then they changed it after a second. Its not worth the effort. I wasted my time talking to them.

The air condition is not working. Outside wad 30 degree evening, in the room 37 degree I had reservation for two nights. I leaved second night at 8 o clock evening ( when return back from the beachIt was not possible to breath inside .From the reception they forced me to pay and second night. Never back in this hotel

Great location. Not really a family place, better suited for couples. Finding a parking spot in any of the garages near by is a major pain on weekends. Hotel is ok, our room was lovely but the windows were not facing towards outdoors but rather to some kind of a inner gazebo or whatever, so we had no actual fresh air and that felt weird.

An amazing hotel with a fantastic luxury suite. Wonderful view of the street and the sea.

Room was clean. Be sure to close the bathroom doors or else it will smell a little bit. Noisy at night from people walking and elevator up and down. We woke up a lot at night. Overall a good hotel close to bars restaurant and shops. Price was ok.

For me this hotel for position and confort deserve 5 stars. The worker are nice and fix some room problem very quick. The hotel is located in the city center and in ten minutes you can arrive everywhere. The only problem tha you will have everyywhere is the parking that in the city is all pay.

I sort of love this place, lovely architecture, perfectly located between city harbor and water front and all the nightlife places of interest. Unfortunately we had to realize that cleanliness and hygienie need improvement.

It was bizzare,weird,dangerous and very expensive.

Location of the hotel is great, close to city center and very lively area with bars and restaurants and of course the sea. However, most things about the hotel itself can be improved. Staff that speaks better English and print a correct official bill. The rooms are quite dark and the deco could be updated with some more comfortable and practical furniture. There was a distinct, smoke like smell in the room and reception area. Air condition was hardly working in my room and while to room was not exactky dirty, it did not feel clean either. The bed was way too soft for a good nights sleep.

Loved the Location and unique rooms. Staff is very warm and friendly with personal attention with your needs. We also enjoyed the private spa that have a sauna and jacuzzi bath that you can book during your stay. Most of the rooms have a unique theme and was informed that every year they convert a couple of rooms with a new theme. Will definitely stay here again.

Perfect location but everything else wasnt on satisfying level. Room smelled like sewage, shower was not washed recently even though we have complained about it.

It’s an okay hotel, definitely not 4 star as they say, more like 1 or 2. No pressure in the shower which didn’t allow the side sprayer to work, mold in the shower. Garbage bin pedal not operating in bathroom. Wooden noisy floor, you can hear the people in the building walking. Reception not friendly or eager to help. WiFi absolutely worthless.

I was on 9th of February in this hotel. The location is very nice. The staffs working there are very rude. They treat the guests like badly.I booked from booking . Com for 65 euro. Then they charged me 85 euro, 15 euro for breakfast extra. There were no buffet. There was one lady working on kitchen, she was very un polited, the served one piece of bread with very badly cooked hamlet with tea. For anything else if you asked her she was ready to fight you. For any thing else we want to have we should go the reception and ask her for more bread. She said this is continental breakfast. We had very bad experience.

The worst hotel Ive been so far. Reasons: 1Extreme noise. I guess tourists do not know that 1st floor rooms are being rented for 3h - you can imagine what for. I havent slept more than 1.5h whole night. 2in the middle of the night i went to reception to complain about noise where they said they could not influence it. Which is really weird, in your own flat you can complain about neighborhood noise and not in hotel?! 3room is really small, and very weird energy in there. Design - very bad combination of strange styles. 4appart from inner noise- outside noise is also not to be ignored, its very frequent and popular location. 5after booking for 3 nights we managed to wait until the morning and took our bags and wanted to change hotel. Receptionist told us that refund is not possible! It was a fight to get money back for additional 2 nights/ tortures where we didnt want to use anymore. I called manager who told me in a very arogant tone that these are hotel rules and she cant do anything. After this experience I am very carefull where to go next. There is no law and no rules. I will definetely write complain to turist police. I was tortured with noise whole night - and paid for that. Worst hotel ever.

Dirty room, bad view, strange interior design.

Nice place. I was in 4th level and some mornings the bathroom smells to smoke of cigarette migth he the next door room was for smoker.

Really lovely rooms, excellent pillows and linen. Very clean and luxuriously styled. In a very good location.From the balcony rooms you can see the water.😍

Amazing, some of the rooms can be a bit tacky but apart from that service is amazing, funny and kind staff, in my opinion way better than any "Electra."Food is absolutely amazing and spectacular!But bathroom doors are glass! not alot of privacy! Please change it and it will be a 5-star from me! <3

A hotel with a unique theme for every room. A must visit hotel.

Extremely creative room decor, excellent staff and central location. Some rooms however overlook a pedestrian street with noisy bars and you wont sleep well if you get those.
