Overall we did enjoy the food. I tried 5 different tacos and my husband got the taco salad bowl. It is a very busy spot so the wait time was long when it came to ordering and waiting for food. The seating is very limited so better off calling or ordering online. The parking lot is very limited so its hard to get in and out when the parking lot is full.The grocery side of the store was amazing. They had all sorts of Mexican food items to choose from like bread, fresh produce, candy, drinks, canned goods, household items, deli, ECT. It truly brought me back to when I was a kid in my grandmas house.I would definitely go back just for the grocery store side for sure.

A great place serving fresh, authentic food with generous portion sizes. Usually busy so expect a few minute wait, but well worth the time. One of the best in the city.

Decent. Seemed to be some issues with getting what you ordered. The barbacoa burrito was very good. Rice and beans okay. Salsas all really good.

Delicious, check out the market next door for some delicious baked sweets or tamales to go if the restaurant is too busy.

Great DDD meal! I had Huevos Rancheros and wife had Chicken Chimichanga. Had the place to ourselves at 7:30 am.

Legit. Had the chimichanga asada, and my friend had the quesadilla asada. Everything was great. Quick, friendly service, delicious food, and the restaurant was clean and comfortable. Well be back.

One of my favorite places to get tacos in Minnesota.Highly recommendMy favorite is just the Al pastor taco. Definitely should get that one :)

Absolutely the best authentic mexican restaurant in the area! A bit of a wait for the food as they are always busy, but seriously worth the wait! Everything was delicious and make fresh!

I used to love it here. Now? Waited 30 mins And I watched people that ordered after me get their food 1st. They forgot my order... And then when I ask for extra limes they told me I have to pay for it? This is the only establishment where they charge you for extra limes. Go somewhere else.

Delicious food, nice authentic options. I got the chille Relleno which was really good, the tacos I felt were a little under flavoured (got the barbacoamainly cause it was heavy on meat and triple tortillas but not as much in spices in the meat itself. We also got the enchiladas platter, great fresh food overall, very good portions of food, and we got the flan.Staff was quick, efficient and helped explain some of the ingredients.

How long does it take for a frozen pig head to thaw? Well, we went to the market and restaurant recently and had a fantastic meal. I had Tacos and grandma had a massive burrito. The food was amazing. I wish we had more than just 5 stars to offer. After, grandma bought a frozen pig head to put on the smoker at some relative’s place. They were Minnesota nice about it but I was so embarrassed. Ever show up at someone’s place with 10 pounds of pork face? Yeah, that was a first for me too. Eat the skin from the pig’s face, it’s yummy. Speaking of yummy, get some Andale right now! Best Mexican food ever.

I use to rave about this place!! Best Mexican food around! But last 3 times I have been my food has been cold, and old. You can tell when meat has been sitting, dry, no juice, hard, and the tortillas were not fresh. Rice was very dry. Just all around disappointed lately with them.

Been here to the restaurant part a couple of times now, they dont disappoint. Recomend.

I didnt think it was that good. Hot sauce was unflavorful. Spent way to much for what we got and only had water? Next time taco bell or Chipolte...

Ordered huevos rancheros and tamales. 30 minute wait while everyone else is served. 2 eggs over easy don’t take that long and they were served luke warm and over hard. Nope.

Food was very good. Good portions and nicely prepared. Staff was helpful in selecting drinks as well as entrees. Like the layout of the inside, there is a bar feel space but also a separate quiet dining feel back corner as well as a awesome patio.

The food was really awesome. The ambience is more like lunch room so not fine dining and they do have small outdoor seating. They were very busy but thorough.

The place was happening! However, my al pastor burrito had the equivalent of a piece of bacon in it for meat. I was so excited since Guy said the place was legit. Felt like I basically paid $11 for a bean and rice burrito. Disappointed and let down 😔

The food was, so good, just so good. Deep fried burrito, good. Chips and queso, good. Chicken tacos, good. 3 milk cake, good. Great Mexican food in Minnesota of all places. It deserves an DDD recommendation. Check it out for breakfast, lunch or dinner. Another very high recommendation.

I went there three days ago with my daughter.The food is just ok. The prices are high and portions are very small. They give you half cup of rice, half cup of beans and some meat for the platillo. I bought a platillo for my 6 year old daughter ( kids mealand she got the same portions as me. I was very disappointed. Remember, Not because they have a poster that says authentic Mexican restaurant in the front, it means the food is good. I won’t go back.

They have a restaurant next to their super market. I know the meat is more fresh here and thats why is always busy they have a small parking space I wish it was bigger so I could come more often. The food is really good.

They get one star because this site forces me to give them something.Disgusting! food!My boyfriend and I went there for lunch. The place was filthy. Tables had not been wiped down, they had not been cleared by patrons because the garbage and bins were overflowing.The man who took our order barely spoke english.We both received incorrect orders.iWhen I made the manager aware of this he neither offered to make the order right or refund our money. We returned the uneaten food less one bite each.We have not returned.

I was underwhelmed. Fajitas had a ton of onion and very little beef; menudo was really salty. The rest of the food was okay. Id say it was not a good value. Service was good and there was very little wait time to get our food. We wanted to try something different as we are Mexican and usually go to another place, but were probably not going back to the restaurant. The store is really good though!

Having lived in California for about 20 years, I have very specific preferences when it comes to Mexican food. I was fortunate to know and eat the food prepared by amazing Mexican cooks, chefs, and Abuelas so I know what I like. With all that being said, this place did not disappoint. Sadly I stopped eating meet about 10 years ago so I havent tried what would have been my "go to" item...Pazole..but it looks good. The fish and shrimp tacos are wonderful. The limited parking and seating prevents me from stopping more often but on my list of favorite local spots :-)

the store is good But the cashier (Sandythat we got to help us was absolutely horrible. We asked her to price a product for us that she had no idea what it even was and the manager told her $3.50. she then started to argue with us that she thought it was to cheap and got the price changed to almost $6.00. she asked us very rude our nationality and attempted to talk us into buying the product at the higher cost. No thanks WONT BE RETURNING and dont recommend, Not even for the food feel old.

Fantastic service in the restaurant with really delicious food. One star deduction only due to the market side having subpar service. I was ignored by staff despite workers making eye contact, just refusing to even interact until I spoke up. I will stick to ordering from restaurant side, but the Mexican rice is cheaper via the market side they say.

The fajitas was lacking flavor. Grilled chicken has no salt or spices. Enchiladas were ok and red sauce was bland.

Good authentic food and groceries. A variety of desserts, hot food, deli, etc.. Kitchen ware for your cooking needs...and tortilla warmers.

So slow. I believe the cook is only preparing one meal at a time..... took over 20 minutes for a simple breakfast dish to go and the place is empty

I dont even know where to start with this legendary Mexican spot. The deep fried burrito is borderline gourmet cuisine. After being showcased on Diners Drive-Ins and Dives Andale has managed to keep up with their ever expanding customer base without ever compromising the quality of their food, service, or atmosphere. Theres a few dozen solid Mexican spots much closer to me, but my friends and I consistently make the drive which is always well worth it

Friendly staff with fantastic food. The parking lot is small and crowded, it is shared with the fun deli next door. Leave some extra time to peruse the full menu making sure to get one of their original drinks.

Great food. Order at the counter and they call you up when ready. The parking lot is very tiny and a bit of a cluster but the food was worth it.

The food was great! Would definitely recommend. I had two carne asada and two barbacoa tacos as well as an asada burrito. The meal came with chips and four dips, two salsa rojo and two salsa verde. The meat was delicious for both types of tacos, and was the perfect amount of veggies, topped with the salsas. The burrito was really good as well, big chunks of meat that were very tasty. In the restaurant, my food came out very fast and the service was great.

This place was seriously delicious. The staff makes sure youre well taken care off. They have a small outdoor area for eating. They also have a Latino market store next doors which I thought was really convenient. I can see why Guy Fieri ate here!. The tacos were delicious. 🌶🌮

We saw this restaurant on food network …Guy Fieri’s show…..and ordered the same food as the one on the show. I have to say I am a bit disappointed on that one particular food that we ordered, Al Pastor…..the taste of the pork is good however, it was very dry and quite small portion/amount…..We will go again but probably will try different dishes.

I’m puzzled as to why reviewers call this good Mexican food.1.The tacos tortillas were coming apart, this happens when they are barely warmed and made into a taco. What with all the onion! It was way to much. The meat was tasteless and dry in all the 5 different kinds we ordered.2.The burrito was mushy and bland.3.Guacamole was waterySeriously this was one of the worse Mexican places I’ve tried.

Authentically Delicious food, big portions. I had some of biggest chicken tamales Ive ever seen.Served with beans and rise Im still full a day later. Wifey had the chimichanga which was smothered with a delicious green salsa.We also liked their enchiladas which a friend had ordered earlier in the week.Their business is attached to a Mexican Market.

This a DDD location! Had to give it a try. Not bad! I had the burrito and as you can see, it’s big and delicious. Also have tried the tacos and you won’t go wrong.

A very nice range to choose from, and then theres the all day breakfast dishes. A steady stream of customers, but wait time isnt too bad. Good range of cool drinks. Extra jalapeño sauce added nice flavor but could have had some heat in it. Good value all round.

Authentic yes. But what I was expecting was different. There’s lots of choices for meats and by lots I mean 12? Few types of meats and then each meat has a few choices on how it was cooked. Limited parking and seating Ling outside so if anything park across the street at menards and “legally” run over the busy street. We got drinks at the Mexican store that is literally 1 feet away sharing the same parking. The dessert was not my favorite... tasted like a wet Costco cake with sprinkles. Lots of options for food so make sure to check out the menu before.
