Anatolia Turkish Cuisine - Turkish restaurant in Forster, Australia
Food was delicious! The service could do with a little improvement.. we just asked for cutlery and it took ages for them to acknowledge and look for some
So what they don’t tell you is that the start closing at 8 so they open but not taking orders Chang your bloody times to you close at 8 not 9 I walk over from tuncurry last night got there at 8:30 and got turned away change your times!!!! Waste my time
Great value and delicious Turkish takeaway in Forster! Best kebabs and Pide in town.
Eat in or take away .food is delicious. Staff are well trained and friendly .good portions and freshly cooked and made
The owner is so. I dont recommend this place to anyone. If l could l wouldnt even give them a star. There is a nice kebab shop at Stockland shopping centre. The people are nice there and the food is great👍
Very nice, beautifuly cooked meat and bread, great dips, just needs more atmosphere, maybe some music etc 😀
Wow! What an absolute hidden gem to find in Forster. Extremely authentic Middle Eastern / Persian cuisine with fanatic flavours and aromas.Started off with a Gozleme. Now dont get confused by the Gozleme you can get at a show fair. This dish was nicely presented in a set of four large pieces stuffed to the brim with cheese and spinach served with both lemon and a side dip. The side crust of the pastry was fantastic and compliments the filings perfectly. For main was a mixed grill to share. If you are a guy and you are hungry you could certainly eat one solo. The lamb chucks were generous, the chicken marinated, and the adana well seasoned. Ive had quite a few mixed plates from areas in Sydney that specialise in Middle Eastern cuisine. I can honestly say that this is hands down on par with some of the best that Ive had. Make sure to get a side order of breadTo finish was Persian tea. Served with a traditional stick with crystalized sugar for stirring it was a fantastic way to finish off the meal. The tea itself was both aromatic and flavourful with no bitterness or harshness to the taste. Will be making sure to eat here several more times before my trip back home to Sydney. Well done to both the staff and owner for crafting a wonderful restaurant that I will be recommending to all that travel to Forster.
Great food very tasty and cant wait to get back there.
Love the food, the staff are great. Good price for what you get
Had takeaway Lamb pizza very disappointing, very little toppings for the price. First time really wanted to love it and support local but won’t be back
Nice staff and good food, you will try good options from the Turkish cuisine
Cheap and cheerful Middle Eastern food. Service quick and friendly. Indoors is cosy during winter and outside benches are great in summer. Always busy
This place is simply incredible! The food is so tasty, with generous portion sizes. We were on holiday for four nights and ended up having dinner here for three of those evenings... we just knew we would have a filling and fantastic meal.We felt we could eat the smoked baba ghanoush all evening. The vegetarian plate was exceptional. The pides were a large enough serving to take some home for later. The Persian tea was the perfect accompaniment to the meal.We will definitely be returning on our next visit to Forster!
Good place to eat, quick service, nice outside eating area with plants.
They have really good food, and we are repeat customers as a result. It gets busy though - which is another good sign
My partner and I were blown away by this beautiful place. While it was very busy at about 1pm on the Queens birthday the staff were very nice and happy, and the food was to die for. All the flavours were delicious and you could taste the freshness in every bite. The bread was obviously home made, as well as sauces, and even the chips were better than any I have eaten in a long time! Will definitely be back! 👍
Wonderful little restaurant, authentic, great atmosphere, clean! The food was the best tasting Turkish so far. Don’t miss it.
Excellent Turkish food! One of the best I have had so far, isn’t a very classy place but the food and staff are just fantastic! 10 on 10 on all counts!!
We had the share platter for 2. The meat was great and salads were very refreshing. Service was nice and fast. The dips and bread were delicious, also.
Great fresh Turkish food here priced really well.Recommended if youre in tuncurry or foster.
Beautiful fresh food. Friendly staff. Very clean premises. Great variety. Great prices
Delicious food and great customer service. Try mix platter and veg Turkish pizza pizza
Good Taste, Quick service 👍
Food was beautiful, so tasty and good price. Only minus that dont offer table water.
I have wanted to try this restaurant for years, always busy, good vibe. Last night we got takeaway Turkish Pide and Tabouli. Omg! It was the best!!! So tasty just the right amount of spice in The Sultan, beautiful feta in the Spinach and Feta Pide. The tabouli was fresh and a great serving size. Fed 4 adults and 2 teenagers with 3 pides, and a serve of tabouli. Wait time was 20 minutes after I’d rung it through, and best of all no greasy pizza boxes. We will definitely be back.
The good reviews for this place must be written by friends and family because it’s absolutely shocking. Their menu states “your choice of salad and sauce” for the kebabs, but turns out it’s written by an illiterate person because that’s not the case. The chicken was inferior and salty as anything. So glad I didn’t dine in - over priced and stingy from what I saw.
The food was tasty but slightly over priced. I am giving it a 4 star because I wasn’t happy with the service provided. The staff need to be more polite to the customers and it’s not a crime to ask for extra cutlery just for future reference.
We booked a table for 3 with my husband and son and were expecting to have a dine-in experience as it looked like a restaurant setting. We were not impressed with having to order at the counter and with the fact that there was no water service. The food was okay-ish however the dips platter was disappointing as you could not tell which one was hummus and which one baba ganoush because they both looked and tasted alike. The lamb adana was tasty and the Turkish bread on point but overall in terms of food quality it’s far from being restaurant grade, nothing but over-glorified and definitely over-priced fast food Turkish dishes which you can find in any food court from Sydney’s malls. Unimpressed!
Mixed plate was the best I had since working in Auburn , however at a higher cost but worth it because no Turkish foods since leaving Sydney .Staff were great however I have not heard of any restaurants not providing table water based on covid ..it’s a BYO so bring your own water too ffs .. lost 1 star for that pathetic excuse ..
Mix plate for $41.40 way over priced and just enough for one person .Note the food very hot . If you have kids or dont eat hot forget about it .They didnt say its very hot lucky we tasted it before our kid touch .I had mix plate in many places you get much more than that and the food not hot . I am surprised people dont complain about how hot the food is .
We booked a table to dine in. On ariving on time the table was not available. Theres no table service. They wont get water for you if you start choking, they tell you to join the queue out on the street to buy some water. Had to find cutlery as none brought to you. This gets two stars as food is good, just dont plan on dining in as they are useless.
It was awesome to finally find a good authentic Turkish Dine in.There food is amazing, and customer service was good. The days of ordering from the table are a thing of the past I think due to covid, but overall it was experience was great even for my little one who loved his first experience dining in.
Okay food, not amazing. Had pide, bit bland. Lamb was tough but the actual pide was cooked fresh. $34 for a pide, side sauce and a drink on public holiday, expensive for a takeaway meal. Probably would not recommend.
Food was delicious. BYO which is always handy.
Food is great, good restaurant, good ambiance and location. However, pricey, less portion and not too friendly staffs.I don’t mind going again.
Great selection of food. Bit pricy but food is great. It is in a nice setting where you can sit inside or outside. Of course it goes without saying staff are very pleasant.
Food was decent, large portions, and quick.. however had to queue with the takeaway line and delivery drivers, and no real service for tables; more like takeaway with a nice place to sit! Go here if hungry and not needy 🤣
Great Turkish halal food, the shop have losts of indoor and outdoor seating spaces. The food is at reasonable price and taste great. Mixed plates and Turkish pide taste delicious.
Nice delicious food. Halal option as well.Very busy on weekends
I had the mix grill not once but twice! I had a mixed kebab as well. Visited 3 times in 2 days. My fav dining experience whilst on holidays here at Tuncurry Forester. The food was so delicious Im devastated we have nothing like it back where we live.
Grabbed some lunch there in the room at the back and I really liked the atmosphere as well as the food (falafel and eggplant dip). The service and staff were amazing too
Wonderful charcoal mix platter and pides. Dips were amazing too
We stopped here and tried the $7 special lamb pizza. It was good big enough for 2of us. My wife has tried the Pide before and was very Happy. Worth a visit.
It was raining the day we went out to Anatolia and they were the only place where they provided us with a table to sit and eat. The restaurant was already full. Very nice people. Food was on point, cooked and presented in a nice and tidy way. Highly recommended.
Delicious Turkish food, with massive portion sizes and good vegetarian options as well as for meat lovers. Definitely recommend
Pide was amazing, I ordered the chicken and mushroom. It was a little oily but other than that it was fantastic. Massive sizes aswell
Chicken and Sweet Chilli 🌶 Kebabs are really awesome here. Chips are to die for!
The restaurant was very clean and tidy. The waitress was amazing - her service was quick, welcoming and efficient. The food was generally good. The chips were nice but the colour indicated that an oil change was needed. The service was pretty quick. The only issue we had was they we have been to many other Turkish restaurants and the quantity of food did not match that of Turkish restaurants in Western and South-Western Sydney. Nonetheless, the pricing was reasonable and would go back if in Forster.
Really fresh & tasty food. We had the mix grill platter. The grilled meat was delicious & not fatty at all.Lovely restaurant setting close to water.Highly recommend.
Yeah not bad. I’ve had better though. More meat would’ve helped this kebab gain an extra star. I feel businesses are really starting to rip us off and I’m over it. Start providing some value.Sure it tasted ok. I had to wait 25mins for one kebab at 8:00pm in the middle of the week! Me thinks they need a faster working kebab maker, or 2 kebab makers... this would’ve brought it up another star.I may eat here again but I’ll make sure I’m the only one in the restaurant and that I’m not starving before I get there.
