Looking for Homely Indian Food. Look nowhere this is the best place.They serve Gujarati and Punjabi 100% Vegetarian Cuisine.

Anand is one of the oldest Veg restaurants in Abu Dhabi.We had Mini thali (5 chappathi + Veg Sabji). The food and service was good. I reccomend thali lovers to try this restaurant. Just a slight renovation needed to improve the ambience.

I visited with my friends and the owner and staff were very polite, The service was great and on time. We had vegetarian thaalis here and the food was delicious, spices were on point and complementary chaas 👍🏻

The best budget friendly restaurant if you are craving for vegetarian thali. Their chapattis are super soft and the curries are equally amazing

Ordered veg thali for lunch. Extremely poor taste, not even one gravy was edible. Zero salt and zero spice. Moreover the rice was given in plastic cover. Not sure how they have 4 rating, very surprising. Will never order food from here again.

I have visited here many time back in 2015 and the thali and other items were very good. Knowing this I happened to visit here very recently. I ordered Thali meals. I started eating the roti and when I was about to dip in dal I saw some black jeera type thing and I stopped eating that moment. I called the waiter and showed him, he immediately took it inside, so I couldnt take any picture. I am restricting myself from telling anything further. Hope you understand what I meant.

Been going to this restaurant for almost 10 years, have gone there growing up with my family because they have (what I think to bethe best poori bhaji in the city. It is my go to breakfast if I am in the mood for some poori bhaji. Their dinner is also quite lovely with a nice Thali and delicious veg dishes on the side. The prices are super reasonable for the quality of food they provide.

Ordered Pani puri and Dahi Puri today and the food was the worst ever. Dahi puri was stale and so tasteless. Looked all items were being stored in fridge for ages and even the puri was hard and bad. Never try chats from here again. Sorry to say this but even being a regular customer to this restaurant the food today was so bad that I will think twice before ordering food again here .

Nice Food but Sweets Like Boondi Laddoos were not so good as used to be.

With respect to puri and sag, the bench mark for me is Agarawala in Hyderabad. I had been searching for almost 21 years for something at least similar to the taste.By sheer coincidence I found this place on zomato and just took a leap of faith from the picture of the sag posted on the app.To my utter surprise I found the taste of the sag to be matching at least 60-70% with my bench mark. Spicy tangy and tasteful.Visited the place by calling them and was pleasantly surprised by the most humble and jovial lady at the reception.Even the serving staff was jovial and humble.As I mentioned above the taste was 60-70% wrt my bench mark (Agarawalabut the most pleasant customer handling and the well mannered staff made the experience memorable and a five star one.Best of luck and thanks.

The spicy vegetable and deep fried bread (puriserved in the morning is really amazing...its a must try.The tea is also good but the flavour is too strong for my taste, also after eating the heavy breakfast I would say have a light tea or if you are with someone then can try half cup of the their special tea.Aircon isnt strong but the hot food will compensate for it in flavours

Was living just behind this restaurent . There is no good quality indian food that can be had anywhere else other than anand in abu dhabi.

We were living in Abu Dhabi almost 10 years ago and it was our hop skip and jump restaurant. Authentic gujarati food. The same taste of gujarati dal for many years. No change in the taste. Only negative thing is the shoddy ambience other than that everything is perfect. Even today whenever we visit Abu Dhabi we eat only in Anand. The cheap, clean and unlimited food we surely wont get anywhere else.

Food is great as you feel like you are eating the home made food served with love, in less price unlimited quantity

I have heard about this restaurant so visited to have a go. I think current difficult times have really taken a toll on this restaurant that was visible from its state. Mere a bare bone structure trying to serve what the best it could and still at very cheap prices. Nice taste.These kind of local restaurants should be supported more.

This is more a mess served with home made food,than a regular restaurant. However well prepared snacks and fritters a d fries are available. One can have thali here 7 days a week with out any issues. The food is nicely prepared. Well served and unlimited.

Simple homely holistic vegetarian food.We tried the mini thali with aloo methi, Gobi masala and beingan masala. I am eating here exactly after twenty years and was surprised that the quality and taste have not changed. Kichdi was amazing as well. Definitely recommend.

Finally the perfect taste and variety and feel from back home! Every evening, one can relish a different chat and a gamut of sweets, not to miss the amazing Jalebi Fafda!!! The menu is just perfectly balanced to frequent this place all week. Poori bhaji for Friday breakfast and the special thali for lunch, made me feel like an accomplished weekend! Great staff, polite and hospitable, very clean setup! Most important: doesnt pinch the wallet any but at all!!

Good restaurant for North Indian Dishes. Roti is so soft and tasty with the veg curries. Thali is famous allowing you to eat as much as u want.
