Great atmosphere for relaxation the weather is dry so that you cant feel the hot sun in the shaded places .. the nature is amazing ppl are welcoming and kind ...only the food wasnt as expected

Nubian tribe people are very honest and work hard for living. They manufacture a lot of cottage industries materials like shawls , clothing souvenirs for the tourists. Tourism is on eof the main opportunity for their income. They have water boats and cruises and camel rides.

A very different way of life. They buy a baby crocodile for the home for every baby born for good look

One of the very few places where growing these reptiles is legal! It is an unique experience getting to hold them !

Great experience but there isnt much to do around here.

Must visit , its in a village with mind pleasing scenery , the food is traditional home cooked food . You will enjoy the Egyptian Nuba music as well and will definetly feel relaxed. Visit the local homes in the village and dont miss to see the crocodiles they keep at thier homes as pets.

I love to take my coffee there, the place is like heaven.

its a beautiful little city, vivid colors and amazing place to take pictures. Henna Drawing is good but expensive and didnt last for long like the Sudanese Henna

The place is kind of over priced as they have normal food, drinks, service in relevant with prices

Review for a stay of over 4 days in Dec 2016 - Jan 2017Two things that strike you here.1The view and the serenity that the nile provides.2The people are very nice and are accommodative to almost all of your needs. We travelled with a 2 year old and we needed all the help we can get.We can couple of early starts in the day and they packed us some to-go breakfasts. They also ensured our safe travel to and fro from the nearby restaurant. To us, the negatives were the rooms and especially the restrooms/toilets inside the rooms seemed dirty and incomplete. Latches were not working and the furniture seemed a bit rickety.

Good view like any other place in Aswan, but is very overrated, service and transportation charge are very expensive.Nubian people are kind, while the owners respects you as long as you keep paying money !

A perfect location, a quiet, peaceful and beautiful place. Amazing scenery, rock formations, located directly by the Nile, you can stay all day long just enjoying the view. Staff are super friendly and helpful and food is delicious. If you are looking for relaxation this is the place to be. Will go back again.

Very unique place. Small village with its own unique language. Connections to Sudan and Egypt. Spices and vendors all over. The villagers are very friendly and their livelihood is tourism so theyre pushy but nice.

I went for Nubian dinner. It was very tasty food. Boat ride to their village was very nice. Must visit in the evening to enjoy dinner and see the village houses.

Its a really nice place but my friends got robbed while we were there, probably someone from the cleaning staff, money was taken from the room while we were out. The problem is the administration wasnt too professional about it and some guy kept implicating that we were doing this to get a discount because we had no money or something.
