An Sibin - Irish pub in Perth, Australia
Best Sunday session in town! Jonny Reid on stage from 8.30 pure class!
Great friendly environment go and enjoy
Nice Irish bar with super friendly staff.
Used to love coming here until recently. We went out as a family to watch the live music like we have done before. This time for some unknown reason one of the door men grabbed my son by the scruff of his neck and threw him to the ground. He wasnt told why nor have the venue responded to my email of complaint. The police advised us to email the venue and request a reason for my son been man handled in such manner as they couldnt do anything, even though technically it was assault. No response has been received. Which I am very disappointed about. Now my son has a 6 month ban from all venues using the scanning machine for been violent. Completely a lie and unbelievable that this can be done foe no reason. We wont be spending our money here again. By the looks of the other reviews its the door men letting down the joint!
Been there plenty of times great live music and friendly crowd
Nice quiet place for a beer. Reasonable selection and draught Guinness
Best night! Great beer and staff were so friendly and fun. Great vibe ill be back!
Good pub, decent for a bit of weekend craic and music.
Super friendly service, lovely people
Craic was amazing 🍀
Appreciable only on weekdays nights. Security are bit pushovers, will consider you drunk after a pint of 4% beer.
💚
The only nice Bar in the Bridge , from drinking back at Conways in Blackrock from the Millennium, in Irish gest . Theres still some good Craic , even though its A quite one by myself.
Hop hog. Excellent bar staff. Convenient location.
Great Irish Pub ! Guinness is poured to perfection. Entertainment is brilliant!!
I LOVE this Irish bar, however, they can be quite aggressive and rude if you line up out the front. They are very negative about your chances to get in, whilst letting their own friends cut the line at will. Hopefully other Irish pubs pick up so my choices arent so one dimensional.
The worst front door service Ive ever wittnessed. Wont ever be coming back!
Security kicked out a girl because she lost her ID no customer service
Guinness is absolutely superb in here. Been in a couple of times now. Last time was a Friday night. It was busy and had a live band on. Good atmosphere 👍
Great pub,good crowd.
Good service nice place
Not a bad joint. Too bad they dont recognise or acknowledge local dwellers as well at they should. I dont bother going in that much......not as authentic as one would like. Ambience and decor is good and the regulars are nice. if only management would acknowledge those who are their bread and butter customers, they probably do a bit better!
Very disappointed after being refused entry tonight having drank here for a number of years and the manager refused entry on the basic that a cloth snood wasnt good enough as apose to a paper med mask or a cloth mask that everyone else was wearing ....Discrimination and I shall follow it up as such .... shameful behaviour.... 7.45 pm ,12 -02-2021..... The lunacy when people can sit inside the open front with no mask and outside on the pavement with no mask but no entry as your mask isnt up to our standard .... Thanks for showing your true selves !
Great music, great staff. Enjoyed spending time here.
Only stopped for a beer. Barman friendly and helpful. Kilkenny was great.
Always have a great time here, staff are friendly and helpful, will come back for sure!
Irish Pub, reminds me of when I was at the British Isles in 79. A quaint Irish public establishment. Live music
Great little Irish bar, they have live music here. Good company and good beers.
Great Irish pub in the heart of Northbridge.
Nice place, nowhere near as rowdy as everywhere else, and the live music was brilliant.
Look it was pretty good but after drinking there til the early hours Ive managed to wake up with a pretty sore head.
Atmosphere was great, just happened to roll on in when ireland were playing in the rugby world cup and hats off to the passionate irishmen , even us aussies loved the dedication they showed 🍻
Great venue with amazing bar staff and music. Good night had by all with every visit.
The manager as far as I know was more interested in talking to her mate had 1 drink and had to wait end up walking out and going to pub sown the road
Great friendly staff, pint of kilkenny poured expertly.
Had lunch here with the family on Sunday in Tinas place, food was fantastic, kids had breakfast rolls and said it was the best roll theyve ever had, the 4 in 1 was amazing. Price I thought was very reasonable.
Great crowd, friendly staffs..... Good live music..... Nothing much more you could ask for
Good live music and Espresso Martini on tap but otherwise not too much else to differentiate this place. Well positioned in the heart of Northbridge, ID checks on the door to deter the hard of thinking and enough noise as a result of lots of hard surfaces to blow your eardrums
Awesome super friendly Irish run Irish bar with awesome staff, casual atmosphere. Great pub and location
Very very nice would recommend to all friendly good music great food enjoyed every time we have been in
Great atmosphere on New years Eve. Nice pub.
Packed with young and drunk :Definitely not for adults this place..Screens doesnt work to watch sports unfortunately. Staff was polite and friendly.
I got a little bit cold welcome from the staff. Maybe it was a bad day... still they serve Kilkenny and Guinness which is very nice! 😁
Great pub, Sinead who i think owns it maybe is very nice. Darts avaiable and good pints
Not a bad pub, but I would have liked it if the craft beer selection was better (very important)! As for the food, I cant say how it was, because I didnt try any... The pub itself is cozy and also has outdoor seating in the front.
Beer was spilt all over my mate and I because the tables werent "locked" (why the hell not is the question). He later told us to leave because we "smelled like beer". We were sitting outside too. Very rude staff.
Come to this pub to play darts. Nice wide open pub nice staff and roomy. Location is in the heart of Northbridge so it lively.
Top class spot got roped into playing darts when someone did show up. Great fun and lovely free platters after we lost??!! Nice Guinness...
I visited this pub at about 2pm on a Thursday arvo, so admittedly it was dead. There were a few other patrons. But from what I seen I liked it!The pub was clean!!! The prices were cheap!!!! Especially for Perth!!! And there was heaps of Irish memorabilia on the wall to help you forget you are in W.A.Wish I would have found this place earlier!
Got into Perth earlier this afternoon after a flight from Bali. Got to my hostel and had a bit of an afternoon nap. Then decided to pop out for a pint of the black stuff and something to eat. Came across An Sibin, an Irish bar and decided this would do for me. Got to the bar and ordered a pint of Guinness but was told, no. At first I thought the barman meant they had no Guinness. When I repeated the question he said, no, I cant serve you as youre drunk???? I told him quite categorically that I had not had a drink all day. (At 53 years of age I dont tend to drink much anywayI tried to explain that I clearly wasnt drunk but he said that he could see from my bloodshot eyes that I clearly was. I again explained that I had just arrived and had just been sleeping and all I wanted was a pint of Guinness. Still he refused and said It was "more than his job was worth" I told him I felt insulted but still he wouldnt budge. I left confused, angry and amazed that in my 53 years this was the first time I had ever been refused a drink in a Pub. No negative feedback from me will stop people drinking here but if you want a friendly greeting here in Perth then pop a little bit further up the road to Rosie O Gradys. They served me with no questions asked and I even had a delicious Shepherds pie. I then left and returned to my hostel. As for the barman at An Sibin who refused my custom I would like to point out that theres a difference between what your job is worth and being a total Jobs worth.PS I hope, obviously being drunk, that my post is coherent, incisive and grammatically correct. Unfortunately all reviews like these so not allow you to give zero stars which I would have preferred.
