Amuse Restaurant in Dublin

I went to Amuse with a couple of work colleagues earlier this week. I had never eaten hear before and it more than lived up to expectations. Brilliant use of flavours and presentation. Everything worked really well. We had a Christmas Menu for 69 euros each. My started was organic salmon with sake and lime marinade, absolutely wonderful. The main course of veal with artichoke, sweet corn and shiitake curd was equally fantastic. One gripe, a few extra vegetables on the side, such as more broccoli, would have been nice. For dessert I had caramel white chocolate parfait. Great way to finish off. The presentation with tiny pink meringues worked beautifully. Well done to the chefs and staff at Amuse, a memorable meal!

Probably one of the best dinners in last few month .Great pairing of different ingredients presented in beautiful way. Combinations that create wonderful umami flavours in your mouth. Great and friendly stuff. Very knowledgeable in recommendating dishes to try and wine to accommodate the same . Just wonderful.

Amazing fusion food (japanese/Frenchand wine selection in cosy location.

One of the best meals out I have had in a very long time. Fantastic food, flawless service, cosy but lovely venue. A perfect anniversary night out. We will be definitely returning, and bringing friends with us!

Incredible tasting menu beautiful 9 courses!!!!

I enjoyed one of the best gastronomique experiences ever last night at Amuse.The French-Asian infusion was a delight of delicate flavour and texture combinations.Conor has designed a cosy dining room to explore his culinary talent. His team are very friendly and attentive.We tried the 5 course Paris to Tokyo tasting menu, which included a 4 part amuse-bouche. It was absolutely phenomenal, worthy of a Michelin Star or two!Conor came up to chat with us. Hes a very nice guy and clearly gifted in his craft.I cannot recommend Amuse highly enough.

I went for my partners birthday to try the 9 course sample menu and it was fantastic, one of the most interesting and enjoyable sample menus weve eaten. I would strongly recommend getting the wine pairings alongside it if you can, individually the wine and food were delicious but together they were wonderful. Staff were lovely and the venue was a very comfortable and enjoyable place to spend an evening. Thank you for an amazing evening!

A culinary experience, throughly recommend

Good, interesting food, pricey enough.

Lots to recommend here: stylish presentation, interesting ideas, luxuriant setting. The ingredients are clearly top quality and treated with care, especially the meats. Occasionally a bit over-complicated and sometimes a few of the elements were unnecessary or out of place. The service is accommodating in an old fashioned way. The wine list is extensive and slightly on the pricy side.

Innovative flavours put together, attentive service, expensive enough but highly recommended for special occasions. I have been going to amuse few times and it always delivered excellent food, good wine selection too. If u want something a bit different and you have the budget you wont be disappointed.

Beautiful experience in a slightly hidden location. Went with salmon, venison and chocolate dessert. Exceptional food and staff!

Love this place. The plates are proper artful and the cooking magic. Service is great very open and engaged. Been twice. They do an early doors which is also spot on. None of my Dublin contemporaries knew of it which is good.

Just a show without any real depth. The food looks good, claims to be sophisticated and sounds exotic (mix of French and Japanese). But no real quality and genuine innovation. Execution is very weak, flavours don’t work well together, and ingredients lack quality. In short, it is an attempt to provide a fine dining and Michelin star experience, but it is a failed attempt. The service is good and the staff is very friendly (the only reason I am giving the place one star as it deserves none)

Great experience! Food/ wine and service were excellent. Very quiet on a Tuesday night, however. Will consider coming back on weekends in the future

Wow dont let you fool by the Google clarification. This is a new invention of cooking a mix of exotic flavours and the very best local products. Very friendly staff enthusiastic to talk about their food. A real gem.

Love this restaurant. Modern Irish food with an international influence. Its not the cheapest place but well worth it for a special occasion.

One complaint I have is for the menu— they don’t have the exact menu publish on the internet. I went there for something special, but ended up with a fancy dinner with no special ingredients. Will come back when there is deer meat or wagnu.I love the Himachi as starter. Five of us all ordered that.We were in a hurry so did not have the tasting menu. I don’t drink, my friends highly commented the wine recommendation here is great. I tried the moscato, very well balanced and not overly sweet, high quality.

We had a very good lunch! From the amuse bouche to the dessert, each course was well balanced and very tasty. Friendly staff.

I went back to Amuse for the second time after 2 years and for me, this restaurant offers without a doubt the best and finest dining experience in Dublin. Very intimate and comfortable atmosphere, the service was stellar with great wine recommendations, but now, to the absolute highlight: the cuisine. The Paris to Tokio menu offered a well-thought through French-Japanese dining experience, a variety of different textures and surprising tastes in each plate. Every single dish was a piece of culinary art and you also could see the love and level of detail that went into the plates. Amuse is a bit more of a pricy restaurant, but for special occasions, theres nothing better for me.

This is the real deal for a proper French dining experience in Dublin. Top notch, faultless and stylish.

We stumbled across this but boy Im glad we did! Absolutely delicious and intriguing at the same time. Highly recommend, especially as for what you get its very good value.

Absolutely incredible!This was the best experience I had in dublin. There arent enough stars here to rate Amuse.They seem to have more seafood in their french style cooking. Its not like Im complaining. I did manage to get the beef tartar as appitizer. I have had good russian, belgian and korean versions of this from various restaurants, this is by far the best. I dont know who came up with the idea of putting caviar between the beef an the poached egg, it just offer the perfect combination of flavors.If you are in town, make a reservation, treat yourself to some finie dining and prepared to be amused.

My favourite place to eat in Dublin. Inventive and consistently delicious food thats always plated like artwork. Would definitely recommend.

Sublime food & the service throughout was excellent. They were incredibly attentive & talked through all of our dishes & ingredients. The weekend lunch menu was fantastic value for the standard of food. Would definitely recommend a visit!

A bit expensive for mediocre food. What we had was tasty but nothing out of the world. Many much better places in Dublin.

The starter I had,which was mostly carrot based, was quite possibly the worst thing I have ever eaten, I left half of the Incredibly small portion I received. I cant overstate how bad it was, minging just about covers it. The main was good but pretentiously small. .

Fabulous food, great service and overall great experience for the cost. Highly recommend
