I was in Gjoa Haven for a week for work and stayed here. It was a really positive experience; the suite room was very clean and cozy. The staff, Jaime and Jason were awesome- super friendly, responsive and welcoming. I brought most of my food but ate a few meals, and the food was yummy. The hotel is within walking distance to the the school, main store, and the cultural centre. Overall, it was a great experience.

You seem to be the only hotel in Gjoa Aven and therefore the one mentioned by Mike Horn in his book "Conqueror of the impossible". Your attitude, your fraud in these latitudes is unworthy of a human being. But youre English, its true. Shame on you if youre still the same managers.

First time up in the North and had a very positive experience. Rooms were clean and private.Anna the manager runs a tight ship. Shes super friendly, very hospitable and makes a pretty mean beef barley soup!

Not too bad for clean, the food is so so, the breakfast hours are a bit late but the portions are good. Overall fairly expensive and you apparently only rent the bed not the room so book an executive suite for an extra $$$ if you dont want to sleep with a stranger.

I think this is one of the better North Inns. Private room, private bath, mini-fridge, microwave + kuerig. Restaurant on site.

Hotel is nice. Room has microwave and a fridge which is nice but you have to pay for laundry around 20$ a load plus the food if you want to eat here is very expensive and not that good.
